This is getting infuriating…since the (theoretically) awesome camera patch (or more one of the subsequent “fixes”) I crash every time I leave a party. Sometimes even when someone leaves the party and we were just two. Imagine getting on a map that requires taxiing and leaving party (e.g. yesterday in T6 dry top run…I joined 4 times, left group 4 times and every time my game crashed).

This is especially reproducable when you slide your FoV to max again (this also keeps resetting every time I quit the game, so I have to slide back and forth the FoV slider to gain max FoV again).

Please do something about that…GW2 is a social game – right now I’m not interested in partying up cuz I know I’m crashing when leaving a party/the last of the my party leaves.

funny ppl still accuse Anet for money grabbing…you guys truly must be good businesmen.

It’s only grind if you make it a grind. Finished my full light ascended armor only recently…took me about a year (or when did anet introduce ascended armor crafting?). I gathered all materials by playing “the way I want”…it took me quite a while, but no reason to rush anything. You don’t loose track in GW2 if you’re not constantly playing like in most other MMOs.

Cool.

But please don’t extend your stream overy long…that’s always a big chore when other streamers promise give aways and we have to watch them for hours until something’s happening finally.

wow, sometimes I still feel beeing the center of the world as EU player (or NA). Can’t imagine how on earth big brands such as GW2 can’t propperly distribute their server locations better around the globe. A server in Australia would not only help oceanic players, but also the huge population in south east asia. (I know China has it’s own servers…but China is…just China).

Glad to have my constant <50 ms ping at > 50 FPS though.

Before the camera update hit live servers I was “meh…I don’t need this tbh”. Now I can say: this is the best thing that possibly could happen – to me GW2 now offers an entirely new gaming experience. Still amazed of how much I can see now and I’m still amazed of how beautifuly Tyria is (even after 3.000 hours of gameplay). Really like that I can see big parts of the “upper” city too, not just ground floor hugging. Also WvW was so much fun with maxed out FoV <3 Thank you, thank you, thank you!

PS: any ETA for HoT? :P

Those topics are important. Designers should know complaints of disappointed customers so we can get better quality content next time. Better quality for us, more cash for them.

Have you been ingame lately? I think Anet has never ever before sold anything with such numbers. Wings wherever you look. So they must pretty much have a feeling what the majority of ppl like. Sorry for you that it doesen’t fit your flavor. But don’t demand things that the majority apparently pretty much like a lot.

I played LW S1 and I don’t want it to come back. Not because I didn’t enjoy it (especially the later parts), but that would make a mockery of the whole living story idea. Lion’s Arch burnt down to the ground…that was a one time event and shouldn’t be replayable. Honestly, I also totally enjoyed the Karka event that took place just in one live event. Too bad too many ppl were playing on a potatoe and were experiencing some difficulties unfortunately…THAT really felt epic beeing part of something unique that took place only once in a huuuuuge mega event.

so all of the players on your server got lag. Why don’t ppl on my server got lag than? That logic… Probably your server is crap? Gandara could need a dedicated nightshift!

I had lags back then when I had a bad computer…since I got my new computer half year ago, I fully enjoy WvW without any lag. Could be your computer dude, just upgrade your hardeware.

I didn’t play too much sPVP until now, but I had about 10 games yesterday with my guild group and twice we were totally kittened off by a super annoying game mechanic – or I just didn’t know how to act in that situation.

Close match on Forest of Niflhel, it was around 450 vs 450. I headed to the Svanir, brought him down to 10% and all of sudden an enemy ranger passed by accidentally shooting from 5800 range once or twice on the NPC and he received the kill credits. No need to say we lost 500 vs. 480 :-(

How to react in such a situation? I wouldn’t be able to kill the enemy player fast enough (or even get to him) to prevent him from shooting at the NPC. How is this working? I was an Ele and certainly had some condis on the boss + burst…still I didn’t get credits for it.

Good thing in GW2 is your ascended armor is account bound…just gonna use my warrior’s berserker armor until I know better to craft something else :-)

Only one question: will there be new instanced (!) dungeons or raids and how big will the maximum group size of those be?

• I found it super awesome that our Gaile is an NPC in Diablo II
• I like trains (seriously, I do)

Yeah the “attent 2 games” achievement should be replaced by “win 2 games”…that way ppl would actually put a little bit more effort to it.

Charged Lodestone’s are one of the easier ones to get. They drop quite frequently in CoE. Got 1-2 on average from a full set of CoE runs (including cores that can be converted to lodestones). Still requires a long, long time to get them if you insist in just farming those directly than farming gold and just buy them off the TP – but I just wanted to point out a viable way to go after those directly.

It’s good that the Tequatl hoards are so rare. I never touched a foot to Silverwastes after I got my Light in the Darkness title. I had nothing else there I was going after. On the other hand, I had about 150 Tequatl kills and got just one hoard (in one of my first attempts). If chances are too high, I wouldn’t go there either if I had all of his weapons that I want already.

I really like the Tormented Axe skin…not only because I already loved those in GW1.

No worries, no need for that as a Ranger. Just use longbow skill 2 and pewpewpewpew your way through Tyria. Enjoy! And if you sometimes feel trolling your fellow heroes around you (or even every time the skill is off cooldown), just use longbow skill 4 and push back your enemy as far as the mists are once every time AoEs are placed under an enemy or melee classes popping their long cooldown skills!

…really bad at playing their own game? I mean last week the air glider disater, yesterday on the PoI stream on twitch the one dev was better at playing his character while blindfolded, etc

I recently leveled an alt in 10 seconds to lvl 80 just with Tomes of Knowledge that you can get behind every corner these days. But if you can get yourself to install GW2 anyways, it’s questionable if you will keep at it if it’s such a chore to you.

But to also answer your question: yes, EOTM is still a fast and popular way to gain levels and karma quickly.

Anyone knows more? Had to wait quite for some time for the Festival of the four winds as it was hosted together on NA/US and CH on their GW2 launch last May. Do we also have to wait on CH for HoT or is it not beeing released there? For them it’d be just over a year after GW2 has been released.

As a big fan of Nochtli myself I’m here to tell you that there’s still going to be plenty of unique and unexpected things happening in the jungle. I think Steve’s point was simply to illuminate the premise that we’d like to build on our epic map stories with events wherever possible. That doesn’t mean crazy hylek won’t play a role in say, surviving in the jungle.

just went back to the Point of Interest stream from today cuz I saw something in the initial stream..just head to min 15:15. I can’t remember having seen this before on any mob type across all of Tyria. Am I missing something or is this kinda new? Any guess what that could be? On the left side of that second bar it has the ‘Unshakable’ symbol too (http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Unshakable)
