Strife’s kill is 9 seconds faster than ours and we didn’t record the 1:35 kill. You’re gonna have to believe me.

We held world record at 1:46 for a whopping 2 days until DnT came along. So much for being a bunch of sloppy disorganized drunkards in guildchat.
Sub-100 second Lupus kills boil down to more RNG than skill. You gotta get lucky on his barrages even more than placing a correct dome/wall/aegis/stability.

We’ve had guaranteed rares since forever. At least 2 is acquirable per day absolutely guaranteed with minimal effort. It’s called dungeon tokens.

Given what occurred recently, they guaranteed rares, AND on multiple characters. Why didn’t they do what they’re doing now in the first place? It directly contradicts your claim.
People (read: I) have been clamoring for guaranteed rares back in September. Going “THANK YOU BASED ANET FOR SOMETHING WE SHOULD HAVE HAD HALF A YEAR AGO” is dumb.

I don’t think making the dragon chest appear only on the home instance is the best solution.
It’s a better solution than restricting the rares to YET ANOTHER kitten account-wide daily dose bullkitten.
The problem with DR was its kitten poor tuning that it was noticeable for people who were, and I quote, “playing the game”. I’ve always been of the opinion that goldsellers need to be punished but not in a way that affects regular players. Dungeon DR was thankfully “fixed” to reflect that.
Okay, so they mentioned the economy. In the same red post, they also reflected on player QQ, so tell me that it had “nothing to do with it”.
Considering Anet’s previous track record, MUH ECONOMY is pretty much the keyword to invalidate all player feedback and nerf kitten into the ground. Remember how Arah3 was badly touched like 5 times just because of that? Remember the Svanir fractal forest loot nerf?
Whichever the case, many players (as demonstrated in this thread) are quite happy with the change. I wouldn’t say Anet didn’t account for that.
Many players are also stupid.
There could’ve been a better way to handle this fiasco. Making the dragon chests appear only on your home server is one of them. Removing the daily dose bullkitten is another.
If not for the QQ (whether it’d be guesting or not), why else did you think they made this change?
They pretty much state it explicitly in the red post. Overflow/guesting QQ has nothing to do with it, it’s MUH ECONOMY all over again.
Got Sunrise at the end of January, now going for Bifrost. 45 clovers and counting.
No farming allowed, no ecto allowed, no dosh allowed. The gems must flow.

They omnom up, get a dosh banner, get a dosh infusion and roll in mad dosh from sanic fast CoF1.
However that is mind-numbingly boring.
They nerfed her hard enough that the 4-1 method isn’t necessary anyway. You have to try it to see for yourself just how bad she got nerfed.
I have the feeling that convincing my group to do Simin will be harder than killing her. The last round of carrying scrubs to DM was particularly painful.

1. Grast going full Leeroy and not being invulnerable throughout the encounter.
2. Doing the ghostbuster part of GE more than once.
Without these two features, AC would still remain the lucrative joke of a dungeon it always was.

Outside of CoF1, 5 zerker warrior groups will get their kitten slapped. Stop determining the quality of the playerbase by the easiest and most farmed path.
But 5 zerker warriors are also required to actually complete Arah p4, all other compositions will be lame.
