It’s a simulation, i know the reset isen’t this week cause after this week we will still get the tiers we are used to according to the ratings.
But next week everyone’s ratings get reset to the same value and all history whiped.
So next week it’s 100% your score that will determine how much you will rise in ratings, and it’s the same for everyone, so whoever scores the most will also rise the most in ratings and be in T1, simple as that.

I’m just giving an idea on how things might look if this week was when all ratings were reset instead of next week. As i said it will be different next week, but it will be similar.

Here you can see all current scores, all quite updated.
Because everyone will start with thesame rating and no history to influence ratingschange, whoever scores the points in their match also will be nr1 server for the next week, and the one who scores second most points will be second, etc.
So as i said, i ordened em by how much score(not ratings) they have at the moment.

so that means, if this week ( well 4 days) was when the reset was gonna happen, everyone’s ratings equal, then the ladder i gave is how the next week would look like.

To give people an idea on how things might look after a full reset i have tried to make a new ladder according to the current standings.
Note: This is an Example ,NOT a prediction of any kind.
Seeing as all servers would be set to the same ratings, we can assume that the week after servers would simply be ordened by how much points they scored in that match.
All matches were pretty much updated nicely on the MoS site so it should be pretty accurate.
Now off course next week will be different, but similar none the less.

Even our current underwater skills will get nerfed again next time.
You can easily stack 15-25 bleeds on a target with just autoattack and 3 clones decent precision and sharper images, this is very deadly if you play a condition build.
Definitely an improvement for pve anyway cause you don’t have to rely on confusion.
Havent tested it out in wvw yet, underwater battles are not that common

Lower tiers want this. Like it was mentioned earlier. It’s very difficult with the current ratings to move up a tier.

Higher tier servers have nothing to worry about really. If they really deserve to be in tier 1 or 2 then they will move back up fast.

Lower tiers don’t want this, if they do good in their current match they will end up in T1, only to have many weeks of being steamrolled.

The tier they play in isn’t really of anyone’s concern, except maybe the top 2 tiers cause they got a shot at T1. For the rest people want even matches that are fun.
You could ask anyone in T3-T9 , hey do you want a free promotion to T1 ?
9/10 will say no.

Probably, after they beat the crap out of us at T5, and we’ll be down to T9 after that week :s

This could be bad.
Next week we might finally make it to T5 again, but we will be facing Gunnars hold.
Most likely we will loose big there and get stomped back to T9 or T8 for the week after.

The ratings should not all be reset to 1500.
Use increments of 50 points / tier or something similar.
T1 starting at 1700 points, T2 1650 and so on
This would eliminate the possibility of T1 servers ending up in a very low tier and mess up the tiers for months. Imagine next week, SFR playing against Vabbi and Vizu playing against WSR, think of the damage that will do and how those servers will be bored for weeks untill they reach their tier again.

lodestone prices are gonna drop fast once all wvw’er start cashing in tomorrow.

took me 5 mins with a bunch of random wvw people while killing krait under water
don’t do this achievement is orr DE’s, mobs there drop like flies and you have no chance to do a combo, do it in some remote places with 5 ppl or so.

Low lvl enemies still drop lowlvl crafting materials.
And i have seen more lvl 70-80 equipment drop than usual in lowlvl areas.

But still i think the downscaling should be steeper, it’s still way too easy in the lowlvl areas, and drop value increased a bit to compensate.

It’s like the easiest achievement of all.
I haven’t crafted for months, but all you need to do is refine 10 resources

I’d like to say i’m relieved to see RoS doesn’t steamroll over the T8 servers.
It was just impossible to guess your real strength from the T9 statistics cause a T6 or T1 server would get just the same scores there anyway.

So we managed to get ourselves into Tier6 again after a 6 week stay in Tier7.
It’s already been 11 weeks since our last time we rose in tiers.
And actually this is only the second time it happens (it was a long drop to T7 :p )

Anyway, it seems like we are holding ourselves nicely against our two german opponents., even having a slight point lead, but the week is still long.
While our times in T7 have been very fun, i think it’s a good morale boost for us all to feel that we’re among midtier servers again

Maybe he has withdrawal symptoms, after 6 weeks he still sees us everywhere

And it wasn’t like last month, i saw no nightcapping or anything.
Noone had big morningzergs or nightzergs outthere.
So far it’s pretty balanced, would have been a different story had we not moved up and faced GH poor fort ranik.

The french border was almost completely red , the french had 30 points or something.

So no matter what border we chose we had to take UW points anyway.

Yesterday we had a small group on FR BL trying to retake lake after the french took it from us, and in comes a bunch of UW’s from the island to fight us

As you may know our story is quite similar.
Our ratings may have become worse after our drop to T7 but our community has become stronger.

I was one of those people who joined WvW after the halloween exodus when the que’s were gone. It wasen’t a pretty sight to first play wvw and see your server loose every week. But i stayed and i never regretted it.

When you hit rock bottom you know that anyone still with you is loyal and will be there till the very end. We will never be as strong again as we used to be, but we also don’t want to be. Higher tiers doesn’t mean more fun

Imagine your conquests in EB and end up hitting the siegecap when you want to take that last T3 enemy keep, all you can use is rams and one other piece of siege :p

21 pieces of siege in ogre’s tower alone was part of the problem, someone went into turtle mode i guess.

Only a wvw player knows the joy of being the lone defender and using the oil to destroy all those golems at the gate

Only a wvw player would find spending hours of trebbing without any loot bags a productive day

Only a wvw player would forgo completing the monthly cause of the 7 fractals that need to be done

Any decent wvw guilds would not go to some high tier server anyway.
They go to midtier where the fighting is still fierce, coverage is decent and your actions matter.
Those last days will indeed have some crazy migration maneuvers.
And anyone who ends up in a (new) tier 1 server is gonna be cursing himself for being there with all the zergfests, culling and que’s

You can still remain is T7, at the expense of FR
The ratings are quite close actually, only 10 points difference between you and FR.
They have lost a lot today.

I just can’t imagine being on a server that will be on 500/600+ points for many weeks.
I already get bored when my server (fsp) hits around 400+ and that only happens for a few hours.

Just wondering if you guy’s wont be bored by the time you reach a challenge in mid tier, maybe in a month or so.
All that steamrolling must be pretty annoying when you’re a (semi) hardcore wvw guild.

If this splits up your guild, it seems like the call to be on a certain server isn’t that unanimous as it seemed.
Everyone knew paid transfers were gonna be on their way sooner or later.
Most likely sooner cause as it says ‘paid’, thats what pays the Anet bills
Guilds should have anticipated this from the beginning.

I don’t think we are gonna tier up just yet.
Blacktide seems to be scraping together just enough points to stay ahead of us in ratings.

As it stands now it would be UW that switches with GH and RoS that switches with WSR.
So enjoy the week while it lasts , next week is gonna be a difficult for all of us

If you already complain about us having way too many people, please look at what’s happening in T9/8/4/2.
You can’t blame us now for having more people, for 6 weeks we have had more people than you it’s not a sudden change, but we never had overwhelming amounts that turns our matches in walkovers like what happens in the tiers i mentioned before.
Sure it’s not fun to be pushed to 150 pts during primetime, but it beats being pushed below 50pts all day, you can still fight back.

Just wait till next week, it’s possible you’ll be facing RoS then in T8, then you will know what it is to face servers with way more people than you
And we might face GH next week in T7 if we don’t manage to outscore blacktide ratings wise this week.

The only reason you win is because you’re many more all the time. But you’re also cowards.

The moment we or FR put a fight in EB, you just go for the BL… indeed good, you’ll win and you’ll win by a lot. But when the faction with the biggest numbers rely on guerrilla tactics, you know they’re bad and cheap.

Yes we have more people, we have already said that ourselves many times.

But going for a bl instead of EB? maybe it looks like that to you.
But for us EB at primetime always has a que, a long one , so noone is ditching EB at any time cause you put up a fight.
Maybe when both you put up a fight you have to realise FS has to split their forces in two to defend both fronts.
And when that happens i can assure you that we are already quite esablished on atleast one of the 2 enemy borders, the reason more people end up on those borders is qause EB has a que, not cause people flee from EB to those bl’s.

You are just trying to lash out at us with either very well known facts (superior numbers) or errors of judgement (ditching EB for borderlands).

Well tbh, tier7 isn’t is that bad of a shape anyway.

Only T1, T5 and T6 have balanced matches this week.
All other tiers are way more fubar than ours.

And with Xoac jumping to GH , RoS moving up and blacktide in freefall, i doubt T7 will get any more balanced than it currently is the following weeks.
It’s not like we really have massive numbers, just more than FR and UW, we maybe are now a T6 server, maybe a low T5 we’ll see but with everything going on right now you can’t really rely on all that, the following weeks the tiers will be turned upside down from all last minute migrations.
FS has been spared of it so far, we are now in our 6th week in T7 and have been slowly building up again. I only know of one small wvw guild joining us recently, all other numbers mostly come from internal recruiting and guilds bringing more pve ppl into wvw, and wvw people spending more time in wvw.

6. Whenever someone mentions the work ‘drunk’ you take a drink.

You can hardly call it nightcapping.
By 5am or so we only had 250 pts left, we just had a decent amount of people for the reset, something we have been lacking in for many months until last week.

When DZ did it they started capping at around 3/4am and had 500+ ticking for 5 hours straight till 8/9 am. And before and after that they also had a few hours of 400+ and 300+.
That’s not what we do.

But we have grown a bit and do have more people than FR and UW at any given time of the day.
You do however have to put this into perspective, we are in T7.
With blacktide falling like a brick and maybe ending up in T7 we get a free promotion to T6.
Once we are there we won’t be pushing both enemy borderlands at the same time anymore. WvW is for the most part a matter of having more people, and atm FS has more than UW and FR, simple as that.

Well easy points wise maybe yes
But that doesn’t make the individual battles easy

Well if we don’t treb durios from SM and keep it vulnerable, you will start trebbing SM from durios
Having the walls down even if we can’t take it is very useful, it makes you people either repair it, or abandon it and not build trebs there at all.

It’s nice to see borderlands aren’t sterile places anymore, all three borders are real warzones

It’s the best reset for FS so far.
We’ve never been in the lead on Saturday before.

Now you will have all your ‘elite’ wvw players playing pvdoor for the next few weeks.
Is that gonna be better than having to share wvw with pug’s and other guilds that aren’t in your alliance?

What i think you really want is a server of your own, with noone else but your alliance.
Unfortunately that is not possible and this whole guildmigration is going to screw up all the lower tiers for months.
