Good, everyone should be gainfully employed. I asked them how old their characters were, especially the guy who had the ascended greatsword (could’ve been account bound from a mesmer or something, who knows). Two of them said it was their only character, one said it was his third, one said it was his second, and of course it was my third 80 as well. The lowest AP score of the entire group was mine, at 3,486.
You mean to tell me those two guys who only have one character each, one with ascended weapons, and more than 3.4k AP each, have NEVER done the CoF story?
I completed the CoF story for the first time with the rest of my guild when all of us were sub level 80 on our only characters, I had something around 800 AP.
m8, I’ve seen people with over 14k AP who have never set foot in a dungeon.

Yes, actually I just noticed that about 30 mins ago when I was pugging. In fact I was so busy kittening about it that I didn’t notice that they chose to save the inquest. That pyramid was one of the constants in my life.. and now it’s gone. Forever T_T

Every single one of these ‘zerker’ players who just load up those ‘meta’ builds and think that makes them good players. Everybody knows that builds dont mean anything in this game, it’s all about skill.
I can outdps even the best so called ‘good’ meta player with my cleric’s guardian simply by staying alive. rlly smh why can’t ppl learn.
They need to stop pushing ‘esports’ because it’s not happening.
However, implementing rewards/skins etc to pvp is fine. PvE has had it’s fair share of updates. PvP has less players for a reason, because its rewards are poor and it lacks variety.
If anything they should throw this esports kitten in the dumpster and invest all the time they’ve wasted on that into making new things for all game modes, especially pvp.

I can’t say which one is more horrible for me, reading all this culinary disaster or thinking of arenanet like a disgusting frozen pizza with rotten tomato sauce in a murican fastfood and the waiters trying to trick you into thinking you’re in Naples or something.
Ah but that pizza sounds like it’s a little too generous. Next patch they should remove the olive and replace it with rat faeces. It’s a fair trade, take with one hand and give with the other.

HOWEVER… I literally have never had a better pink lady apple than i did in australia. And I’m a total apple snob.
The only way you can get a decent pizza here is if you’re prepared to pay alot for it. You have to go into a classy restaurant, preferably one with a wood fired oven.

I like pineapples on my pizza Hawaiian is a big thing in Australia too. I just order a Hawaiian without ham because I don’t like ham. Or better yet I make my own, because pizza from the main pizza chains in Australia is disgusting.
Now imagine a pizza crust drenched in oil that tastes like it’s come from the greasy head of a teenager who hasn’t showered in weeks. A cheese topping that has the consistency of rubber and tastes like plastic. ‘Beef’ (although I think they just call it ‘meat’ because god knows what’s in it) that tastes like half defrosted cardboard and crumbles into pieces in your mouth like that one sandwich you left in your bag back in high school for over a month. Ham is usually placed in small rectangular chunks, it’s slimy and tastes as if it’s been fished out of a rotting dumpster. Pepperonis come as a couple of dry and hardened disks that are basically stale. You know when you forget to brush your teeth and that bad plaquey taste/smell settles in your mouth? That’s what eating that pepperoni does to you. Vegetables are soggy and discoloured, as if they have been soaked in some sort of preservative preparation for a couple days beforehand. The sauce? It’s oily as well and you’re lucky if you don’t find any hair in it.
I could go on forever about the sorry excuse for pizza in this country.
I’m upset that dungeons are being cleared faster in a way that I don’t want to play. Because of my choices I feel like I’m at a disadvantage and the game should be changed to suit me and to punish the people who adapt to get faster runs than me.
I like pineapple pizza and chocolate. Sometimes I like grilled chicken burgers and those salad things from olive garden with the breadsticks.
The dungeons are boring to me now, but playing with friends makes them bearable.
My Aussie internet connection is potato so no more spvp till I go back to Canada.
I hate WvW with a passion.
Open world is in the gross/yuck pile.
I think about too many things at once. I have a migraine everyday, sometimes they last for many days at a time without a break.
I play this game to kill the thoughts and distract from the migraines even when it can make them more violent.
This game is unhealthy for me. But I am unhealthy for me.

Engi is going to be more useful in the times to come, mesmer’s gone backwards a bit but if you run meta you can still take it. If you want the ‘best’ at this very moment you’re looking at eles, guards and warriors. Ranger’s a nice little throw in for frosty, thief’s great for trash skips, blind spams, holding FGS etc. Basically anything that is running meta and that isn’t necro is fine by most people.
You don’t know math or the game better than ANet. Glad we got that settled!

Message to the OP: If you post anything in the forum other than max damage builds (the full zerker, noob build) you will incur the wrath of the Ranger forum stooges which always try to make the following points in their advice:
1. I (insert name here) am an amazing player because I deduced that Berserker does the most damage mathematically (even though devs published this for us)
2. I can beat content in full zerker (so I am awesome, baby) and you obviously cant because you like something that is not full zerker, therefore u are a cripple… With a crutch! And can’t use that full set of ascended berserker gear you have!
3. I will kick you and all my friends will too! Yes, i have friends (blush). And they will kick you because if you don’t play how I want you to, then u are PHIW player and u suk because only I can PHIW without being a PHIW player…. Or something. (pant)
4. I am AWESOME at mathematics but can’t seem to calculate that a 30s fight (with 5 participants) will take 30.5s if you bring a non max damage weapon (mainland axe) into a battle and that will make the whole dungeon run take hours longer! I mean if you bring a “weak” weapon into An easy dungeon it will take hours to finish… Right?
5. You should read my META Ranger thread for beginners…. What’s that? It’s no different than the advanced META? No, that’s your imagination!
6. Did I mention I am awesome, while trying to help you? I sometimes forget to brag about myself.

If you post something and claim it to be amazing, then you should back it up with evidence or prepare to be told otherwise because you are spreading misinformation and many people don’t appreciate that.

Just joined a ping gear zerk only party since they usually do well. A full Ptv guardian joins and asks if thats ok even though he knows its full zerk team. The person who started the LFG and the group said yes. I left. He doesn’t understand why. lol.
I always tell old man coleslaw, ’don’t help anyone you don’t know unless it benefits you as well’ because they’re rarely thankful, they’re rude and obnoxious towards any suggestions and they often think its their god given right to be carried and if you refuse to then you’re the selfish one.
I’ve always been a believer in Egoism, in that it’s the idea that no one does anything without personal gain to themselves. Helping others isn’t done for altruistic reasons, it’s done because it makes the person doing it feel good about themselves. And with that I agree with it.
At best you get thanked and everyone is happy. At worst you get kicked from your own group and you LOL yourself to sleep that night.
I used to feel good about it regardless.. but after the constant abuse I just feel kinda dead inside.. Like wow I just spent all this time and effort on someone who doesn’t deserve it at all.. I could have been doing something way more productive in this time or actually helping someone I know who will be appreciative of it. T_T
