Oh I know people still run the dungeon, but dungeon sellers are far far more common than they used to be, and the vast majority of LFGs want experienced members that will melee lupicus. It is much harder to find a group willing to take a beginner.

I’ve heard that it’s possible to list your own LFG asking for a teacher. I think it only costs like 200 gems or something. Or maybe it was an exploit.

Yeh pretty sure it’s 200 Gems to buy the ’I’m being oppressed!’ megaphone in the gemstore that enables you to make one lfg listing per hour. Some people have been exploiting it by double clicking it in quick succession to make multiple lfg posts within the designated hour. Smh at this toxic community sometimes, just takes a few bad apples.

Consider the duration of those might stacks vs what can be applied by others and consider the sacrifices you have to make to your build to get them vs others.

This forum is the vocal minority. Whats said on here really isnt a big deal to them when the majority of people are silent/don’t care and still throwing $$ at the cash shop. One trip to some where like the dungeon section and you can see the same complaints that have been going on for years and no one cares to address them.

Detha’s bugs are associated with failing the event to defend her from gravelings at the Flooded Temple.
Sometimes she will get rekt during that event and auto-res after this happens if you attempt to restart the event her health bar will start off empty making her unable to trigger the trap charging event at the Hall of Champions.
Your best bet is to not muck up the Flooded Temple bit or risk having to reset the entire path.

She’s bugged without that part failing as well.

The problem is the people spending money. This is a business. They don’t care about what you think unless it directly hurts their profits. You don’t like something? Stop giving them money. Your opinion doesn’t talk, your play time doesn’t talk, your forum posts don’t talk. Money talks.

Now here’s the next problem. You stop giving them money. They don’t care, nothing changes, game continues as usual. Why? Because the majority of people are too content with the slops they’re given to stop spending money on it. It is still overwhelmingly profitable to Anet, and a couple drops in the ocean don’t matter.

I never liked SAB because it made me angry. I am the worst jumper in all tyria and Brazil and Dempsey had to hold my hand through the whole thing while I was swearing up a kittening storm. While we’re at it, I’m upset that I have to do open world mapping to get my legendary. It’s forcing me to play a game mode that I don’t like to get something that I want. I know a great many players who are bored of open world mapping and so I don’t think that this requirement is fair. This is simply a tactic to get dungeon hardcores like me to go out and do open world content. I would prefer it if I just had to get dungeon master instead because I only do dungeons. I also spend lots of money on gems and so my opinion is probably worth alot. Really I think it’s important that GW2 gets with the program and stops forcing someone into playing content that they don’t enjoy.

Basically its this kind of logic. And the reason it’s flawed is because of a few things-

When you want something, its different to when you need something. When you want something you should be prepared to make some sacrifices or do things that you may not want to do. Eg, I want these new clothes, I have work some extra shifts to pay for them. When you need something you may also need to make sacrifices, however you may also have a bit more entitlement to something if you need vs. want.

We play a game now with many different people who all play differently. What you may not like, others may enjoy. Not everyone is going to be happy about doing ‘a’ to get ‘b’. I like doing dungeons but I want an ascended armour/weapon set so that my dungeon runs are even better. I have to do something I don’t want to and farm dragonite in open world and WvW etc. Meanwhile somebody else wants a legendary and needs 500 dungeon tokens and he hates dungeons. That’s just how it is. Maybe, somewhere along the way while we’re off doing things we wouldn’t normally do, we discover something we enjoy in doing it. Hey maybe open world isn’t so bad, maybe fractals aren’t that bad. etc. Or maybe we continue to hate those things. Either way though, if you want something, you need to be prepared to make a sacrifice because we live in a world where everyone is different and while you may hate fotm, there’s probably someone out there who’s really happy that fotm relics are what’s required instead of having to endure more living agony.

Next they need to remove the fact that it’s a light field. Whirling in it to have a slight chance at curing people’s conditions is an exploit and mitigates the need for other more survival based gear sets.

Yeah.. the 100k for the pvp tourney could hire a developer for… 1.3 years on average. If they just used it to get some decent interns they could fund 4 years of full time interns.

I just think it’s such a frivolous use of capital. Gem and digital items as prizes is one thing… RL money is stupid for a game that ISNT an esport.

Can you imagine how many in-game fashion opportunities we could have developed with that O_O

Not entirely for the same reasons as him, but I also really dislike the way it’s formatted. I’m glad there’s some PvE action going on, but I don’t care about doing story mode paths or the few explorable paths that basically nobody ever does, so in that regard it actually would be just for the money.

Sounds great but wont happen. For the usual reasons of course.

Hard Mode:

You enter the dungeon with four other players who have been selected by the game.

Setting One Let me tank this:
All your selected team mates are running PTV builds.

Setting Two My dps is better for long fights:
All your selected team mates are running full condition builds.

Setting Three It’s all about skill, not builds:
All selected team members are playing how they want. Bars filled with racial skills, GS mesmers bouncing around, flame-thrower engis, staff necros, hammer warriors, bowbears you name it.

Setting Four reminisce days past :
Magic find armour, weapons and accessories are now forcibly placed onto your entire team’s gear setups. All traits are removed.

Setting Five I can outheal all the damage and carry my party:
Your selected party members are in full Nomad’s gear.

Setting Six Prepare your kitten:
Your selected party members are graded to be more likely to be grouped with you based on the increased amount of times they have mentioned the following words and phrases in their forum posts and in game:

• Toxic
• I play how I want
• Condition damage actually outdps’s Zerker in 5 man dungeons.
• Everyone else in my party dies except me, I’m always the one ressing. That’s how I know my tank build is good.
• Axe mainhand ranger is only 10% less DPS than the meta and it’s really strong.
• Ranged DPS is good.
• Check out my burning build, it’s amazing.
• Elitism
• I got kicked out of my group at the end of the dungeon and I don’t know why. It’s all a conspiracy hatched up by this toxic community to stop good people like me playing the game.
• Nerf zerker gear please.
• Skipping is exploiting.
