if your aim is to be playing dungeons for the majority of your time then I recommend going for sword or Greatsword. Warhorn or axe(offhand only) are also solid choices.

As an example, I loved the flameseeker prophecies and so I bought it, but it has little to no use to me on my guardian main in dungeons where I spend most of my time so I hardly ever get to see it. The novelty has kinda worn off now and I wish I bought something that I get to see alot more or simply saved the mapping gift for another time. Goodluck whatever you choose.

Often times I think they do read the lfg, but they just don’t care. The simple act of clicking to join the group apparently entitles them to run whatever the kitten they want and ignore everyone else. :/

1) Create game without traditional trinity, where the best performing teams will be all DPS.
2) Implement random/unpredictable/switchy aggro mechanics to discourage trinity play by making effective tanking impossible.

It just sorta struck me — why the hell is there tank gear in a game expressly designed not to have tanks?

No wonder the PHIWs are confused.

There needs to be some kind of in game guide that explains to people how dungeons work and why taking kitten stats in there is a bad idea.

Make sure stability is applied before the crystal is placed. Hallowed ground and Syg will work. Pug guardians don’t usually do this so you may need to bring your own personal stability.

OP came here because it didn’t work out so well in the dungeon forums :P

There’s nothing enjoyable (to me) about dungeons past getting them done quickly and making money, I personally don’t find the storylines compelling or the npc dialogue. The scenery is so/so and nothing much to talk about unless I pushed myself to go full imagination mode which is something I’m too lazy to do. I think open world is probably better for that for me and even there I tend to get more fun out of trolling randoms with particle effect stacks and cow tonics while they’re trying to do the cybernasty in some discreet corner of a bar in divinity’s reach. I think maybe the LS instances are better what for you’re after? although they may be a little brief, they made me pay bit more attention to what the npcs are saying than the dungeons I suppose.

While this game is more CPU intensive, that intel 4000 is incredibly low end which does not help.
