If you do not like Jumping Puzles, just do not make it.

I like very much of JP, and i think they was a great idea of Anet. They trully helped GW2 to be elected the game of year in 2012, Anet will make a big fail if stop put more JP.

Most players here comes to GW2 because inovation and diversification, among another things.
When i think that GW2 became another Lineage2, WoW, or same mmo, i just leave this game.

Think we will ever be able to stow banners?

I think that “summon magically” the banner, like the warrior could be some magic tipe, are not the best choice.
hahaha.. “The Bannerpacker”, when activated make warrior snaps fingers and the banner jumps to warrior’s hads – 10s CD

I think teleport to banner location and puckup, like a fast/quickly movement, combine better with a no magical tipe.

Make the banner like some togle skills, that on use unlock a secondary skill that will be allowed whenever the banner exist, when the banner vanisher the skill is replaced for the banner icon and starts 25s CD.

These banners are very bad. :/

I think that warrior are only ready for all that comes, with LB + S/WH.
Focus in heavi condition, high tough and crit chance with average raw power.
Lisa + Rabid + Acuraci/Earth + something for your choice.
Utilities for your choice.

This is the only good style for warrior against other classes. Only this way you will be able to kill a mid skiled player(no warrior) without help of team players or monsters.

Believe – Banners are useless!
1s + animation for utilities, and 2s + animation for elite. Every time that i try summon that thing, the enemy breack me before the banner comes.
- uselles summon that no hits the enemy, no deals dmg, no cc, no interrupts, no deal condition, no remove conditions, no rips boons, no heals, no grants combo field, no grants strong boons or status, no move itself, no have strong or relevant active skills, has a ridiculous radius(compare with steal or shadow trap/shadow pursuit), has too much slower animation on pick up and plant, you can’t to carry more than 1 at same time, etc…

Banner does not compare with any other summon in this game, even the rock dog is very better that banner, the most weak summon in other proffession is very better than these only cosmetic banner.

We could teleport and to banner location and gain quicknes when pickup, like thieves that gain 10, i said 10 stacks of might + fury when teleport to trap location 36s CD with only 10 trait points.

Banner will has ok when have less cd, better efficiency, better radius(10000), and a togle skill that allow the warrior to breack stun, teleport to banner location, grant quickness and pickup the banner. Like shadow trap and shadow pursuit.

Warrior lacks of sustain, everyone here knows.
I think that one of big reasons are the kack of divesity in utility skills.
I talk diversity because the most of warrior utilities and elites have similar effects.
Ex:
*Banner Strength = Signet Power(passive) = FGJ = Banner Batle = Signet Rage(active) = Jugernaut.
*Banner Defense = Signet Dolyack(passive) = Endure Pain = Jugernaut.
*Banner Discipline = Signet Fury(passive) = FGJ = Banner Batle = Signet of Rage(active).

- Too much skills focused in buff status…

Maybe warrior is need something diferent, perhaps focused in dmg mitigation or that disturb the enemy, granting to warrior some time for rechage heal skills.

- I think warrior actually needs less of status buff and more of skill and sustain.

Condition counteracts with cleanses, regeneration and incoming condition redution.
for all classes exists gears and foods that counteracts conditions.

About Engineer, i think the big problem are the tons of heals, cleanses, and turrets CC all time. They camp in a point and become unkilable.
Necros in my opinion couldn’t have so stronger burning. This class rip 25k+ hp in few seconds, and that perma fear and all those minions…

Warrior = versatile. I can play solo or with team, granting good dps and some suport for myself and my team. another good point in warrior are the mobility for capture points and cross the map in pve or wvw.

I don’t like superhuman/semi-god classes like Thieves, Mesmers, Elementarists or Rangers, i like challenger, and warrior are the only class in this game that provides this.

In conterpart, the lack of sustain or/and survival make the challenger heally absurdly hard and stressful, especially against players(sPvP and WvW).

warriors are sooo easy to play they do great amounts of damage without even trying. there is a reason why everyone wants warriors in dungeons. thieves, eles are squishy ,rangers are underpowered.

I has preference for PvP (s,/tPvP and WvW), and i don’t see any other class underpowered. If has some class uderpowered are just the warrior that lacks sustain. Its easy play full zerk when some one are healing and pretecting, but in PvP the thing change totally.

Shapeshifting looks very good.

But the proffession should not have a holy orientation, for diverge of Guardians and Norn. Also need be fully focused in shapeshifting, changing part or full body in animated or inanimated things.

I apreciate very much the Anet work, i know that they will bring something fun.

I think that warrior’s weapon traits could be like in another proffessions, targeting 2 or more weapons at same time, and opening trait slot for another more usefull trait.

I think that some weapon trait could be mixed, for example:

Slashing Power (strength IX): 10% more dmg with greatsword and spear, also grants might on critical hit and reduce CD in 20%.
Crack Shot (arms VII): Longbow, rifle and harpoon shots pierces. Reduce CD in 20%.
Merciless Strike (defense X): Hammer and Mace deals 25% more dmg in disabled foes. Reduce CD in 20%.
Quick Providence (Tactics IX): Sheld and warhorn skils convert 1 condition into a boon. Reduce incoming dmg in 10% and CD in 20%.
Blademaster (discipline IX): +10% critical hit chance with sword and axe. Reduce CD in 20%.

Obs: Obviously some traits would be replaced for another traits

You want near glass focusing in evasion and condition removal(wh will help to get protection and aegis) I recomend this:

I think strange more than 2 weapon set.

Look actual soldier, that uses Rifle + Pistol/Knife (explosives and kits are utilities). And Spartan that uses Spear/Sheld + Sword/Sheld. And Samurai that uses Sword/Sword + LB or Spear/GreatAxe/Longsword/Rifle(in last days). Apache with Rifle or Shortbow + Axe/Torch/knife/mace…

The usual are 2 sets, but i haven’t nothing against 3 or more sets

for me its definatly one of the weapons they should add to gw2 , would add more weapon diversity , great axe for warrior,guardian,hunter , crossbow for warrior and hunter and thief

Crossbow was used for knights, then guardians could use. Warrior, Guardians, Ranger and Thieves.

I like stances but they still need polish.
I’ll bring up two issues I have with stances.

Firstly, not all stances give you boons, so there is no way to increase their duration (traits, food, etc). I love throwing on Balanced Stance with high boon duration, it feels great especially when I trait for Stances. I think it’s a missed opportunity that the other stances can only be modified by the 25% duration trait, especially with no reduced cooldowns.

Secondly, the Vigorous Focus trait (Gain vigor when using a Stance) seems contradictory to me. Endure Pain, Balanced Stance, and Berserker Stance seem to be used primarily to reduce incoming damage. With this trait you gain Vigor for 8 seconds. This means you’re able to dodge more, but I feel like this cuts into the usefulness of the Stances themselves by essentially getting their effects for less time spent dodging.

This trait was only viable with previous berserker stance, granting 8 – 10 seconds of vigor while recharge adrenaline, but the previous cd was 25s.
We had vigor and adrenaline regeneration 40% uptime. Now this trait is obsolete, like some more in this profession.

The goal is provide a heal few better, that recharge some health and refill adrenaline, but instead make in one single movement, do’ll make without animation and cast(like all stances). In contepart will heal over time, allowing the enemi to finisher before the skill done all heal. Due the risk, i recomend also regenerate endurance for help in survivability.

1 – Rework several skills and traits.
2 – Rework armor and dmg reduction formula(this affects all classes)
3 – Rework health and healing power formula to includes max health, this provides equal reward for the use of heals, regeneration and gear effects(healing power).

About stances, only 3 things:

1 – Increase duration to 8 or 10 seconds, reduce significantly the reuse delay, and rework relative traits.
2 – There are 3 stances giving defensive but low efective effects. This stances could be their effects mixed to unlock slot for some new utility skill that can help warrior in the question of sustain/survivability.

Replace Healing Surge for Refresh Stance.

Refresh Stance: Regenerates health, adrenaline and endurance for 10s. CD = 30s.
- Health Regenerarion = 1000/s.
- Adrenaline Regeneration = 3 extra strikes per second.
- Endurance Regeneration = 2 extra strike per second.

Due to Stances are one of warrior exclusive tipe skills, this tipe of heals looks viable, helpefull, can be traited, and provides diversification.

My only change are in Sword #4 and #5, that could give 4 stack Torment for 8s instead Bleed (the bleed is buged).

I like Torment becaus this effect is perfect to represent some people with a sword impaled in his body and tryes to run.

Hammer/Mace CC warrior is quite strong on this map. You have to remember, this map cares way less about actual stats and way more about skill effects.

You forget the very lower dps of hammer and mace, against 4, 5 or 6 summons hiting, cc, dealing condition, and protecting the foe. All then ready to face the first one that enter in roon.

Skyhammer comes to:

1 – Show how OP some classes are.
- CC, Summons, High Sustain even in 1 vs 3, and more and more and more.

2 – How useless some classes are.
- Poor weapon skills, High cost low reward utility and traits, No Sustain even in 1 vs 1.

Warrior is decent in that map. Get Rifle, Fear Me, Stomp and some Stab. Spam it and hope for the best, hug the door while waiting for cooldowns.

U need be sarcastic. With that CD, Stomp, Fear Me and Bulls Charge are unthinkable, even traited.

Warrior dont have summon for suport or disturb, they could at least have theyr utility skils with low CD for conter all those summon spammers.

Class balance and viability on Skyhammer
Every class have some skills, that either fear, pull or push you down. If you have to be a lot more careful where you stand. In combination with the laser canon immobilize and freeze matters even more. Let’s wait and see, if the meta on this map will change, that the teams will only try to kick the other team down, and use the laser canon for additional damage or not.

Warrior has fear. He is useful now. Lol.

Regarding spectating/eSports: Is there a fixed cam point near the cannon room? The 1 time I spectated at an hotjoin I only found near the mid point and down near the portal?

Just not.

Fear Me! will be useful in far future, when CD be changed to 30s.

Unthinkable for warriors.
This class canot stand face to face with any other class. PvP its done for warrior.

- Necros can spamm fear and 5-6 summons at same time.
- Engineer can spamm bombs, turrets and a lot of live sheld and automatic atack, control and condition dealind.
- Guardians can summon weapons and just blow out of skyhamer.

No coments more.

Mesmer GS are taking 3100+ all time with Spatial Surge, and sword are granting 2,5s evasion with low CD.
This no talking about teleport, invis, and a lot of other tricks.

Necros just can put 25 stacks bleed, each taking 125+ every second.
Is 3000+ dmg per second. This no talking about Burn + Fear + Torment + Poison + Mark + raw dmg.

Oh yes! 8s imunity to incoming condition are extremly amazing!

Whenever we have 8s with 60s CD, Mesmers, Rangers and Thieves have Atack + Evasion at same time in weapon skill with very low CD :/

Blurred Frenzy (2,5 evade all atacks. CD = 9s) >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Balance + Berserk + Endure Pain.

My opinion?
Stances need be reworked and/or improved.

Due to dmg nerf, Anet could increase atk spd in Axe Chain.
Ex:

1: Chop (withour cast time)
2: Dual Strike (without cast time or 0,25s)
3: Dual Chop + Final Chop (0,5s)

obs¹: Axe #3 could evade, and Axe #4 could be replaced by another new skills.
obs²: Increase range of Axe f1 to 600 or 900.

I do not waste my time with 8s stability with 40s and 60s CD. Even because others classes can rip, steal or convert.
I preffer use another thing.

In my opinion Dolyak Signet need give another and better thing instead poor 8s stability. And the trait Sure Footed could doble stance duration.

The warrior is somewhat tanky in general. The sustain is the problem though. If you hit your opponents it’s ok, otherwise it’s not that great.

A friend who is supporting you (or a group) help a lot and that’s when a warrior really shines. You can tank, have good CC, damage and/or support.

The warrior is definitely viable when it comes to PvE and WvW.

Yes. But just because gears and buffs, things that all classes have access, then the sustain diference continues.
A elementarist or guardian only will be able to deal much more dmg without careful with defences or sustain :/
