You need more deeps, get 4 warriors and 1 timewarp mes.
So any other class can never ever pass this and get Dungeon master, great mechanics that then..needs a fix..
Every combination of the classes need to be able to pass 100% of this games content, or we need the trinity back.. at least that worked..
He was giving the poster an optimal scenario for killing Simin the fastest, easiest, most semi guaranteed chance there is due to problems he had at first. Ive joined a group that was only 2 warriors (Coulda been less) and killed her and it is definately do-able with any DPS classes if you follow enough tips in other threads. The more pre-cautions and extra little steps for damage you take, the easier you can mold it to any team.
Fun, friends, challange, beating your best times, getting a second armor set for different stats, finding new armor combos you like, loot, trying to never get downed. Since this is in dungeons, I assume you want to do dungeons and not other world areas so those are some of the reasons I play dungeons.
The material you get from salvaging items from a dungeon monster drops (NOT THE TOKEN REWARDS) seems to depend on the level of the dungeon.
Ive noticed that TA items give Linen Scraps on salvage. CoF give Silk Scraps.
So Based on this, what is the BEST dungeon to salvage your drops from? I usually just merch but lets say, Linen was worth alot, it might pay in TA only to salvage everything. Please include the Wood Material, Ore Material, and Cloth Material the best dungeons give
It does appear you can do 5 characters, same path, getting 60 tokens per. DR might kick in somewhere down the road, but at least the first two characters, can do it back to back with full token.
I dont think it was a fluke, but again, I have only tried this one time, with two alts only, in 1 dungeon so I wouldn’t take the evidence as concrete findings yet. You would need additional confirmation.
Nah. Alot of paths for DM just get ran once and never again. Alot of people arent even going for legendary at this point in the game due to its cost.

If you play melee, you cant always dodge in time since the projectile only has to go 1 foot to you.

I did CoF path1 today on a character who had done it last night and got 20 tokens.
5 minutes later, I got on my alt character who hasnt run p1 yet today, got 60 tokens on him.
knights is the best really since guards have the low hp pool, the vitality doesnt get boosted like the warrior so +vit gear is the least effective for guards.
yea, for people with 5-8 characters, the tokens for ascended backpieces, infusion slots, etc.. gets almost impossible to aquire without grinding absurd amounts of tokens out for all characters to be proper in fotm
Im sure there as people with PHD’s from Harvard claiming that Quantum Physics isnt hard because they can do it. Doesnt mean its actually easy though just because a specific type of person, who runs the dungeon/boss alot, has found a set tactic and method to killing, while the general population struggles.
Ive only done this path once, (pre patch), and the people fell in the lava alot including me since it was my first time. After seeing your video it does seem easy but idk if we can go so far as too call it a joke boss.
Slave Driver supposedly can be dropped very fast, almost in a timewarp or so, but id say hes far from a joke boss. He dishes out massive damage, alot of teams can get downed from him before he dies

A dungeon, that has decent drop from trash, maybe chance at t6 mats, small chance at rares maybe etc…but does not really reward you at the end EXCEPT the chance at a pre-cursor or a super rare item like Volcanus.
It would be easy to medium difficulty to promote running it.
Would you guys run a dungeon with reduced silver, but increased trash drops and the chance to get a possible 200-500G+ item at the end? instead of now, where you get like 40s+ for dungeons, but chance at drops are like slim to none
Obviously it should be. I hate using #3, its annoying. #4 is just a 20 percent chance.
100b should be a combo finisher, its obviously a good skill.
In b4 “100b is OP” its not since you have to sit still, and if a enemy uses its super attack, goodbye you.

theres no real tricks you can use besides someone telling you exactly how to spec your class, and no one wants that. i havent seen many “tactics” guides for storymode since its not popular but it would be nice if someone would put one together
im on 33 fotm and im pretty sure i get better drops from a ~10 daily than i do from 33 (Fractal weapon skin chance aside)
So when they change it to be easier, people will just complain its too easy, like CoF, demand it be harder, demand the speedruns stop, demand that now people will only take warriors or something.

wow this thread really deviated from the topic, but why would warriors have their dps nerfed, when on this very forum, people are claiming thiefs are better then wars. also most people here say wars die the most. i dont agree, but theres two sides to every argument.

Nothing in this game is made to be grinded. We are lucky there is no DR on fractals.
Example: 10 Daily – 30? tokens from bonus chest, 20 Daily Same Night – DR’d 10 Tokens
30 Daily Same Night – DR’d 20 Tokens.
I was thinking it was bugged too but it could be a technicality. The agony eats a percent of HP so depending on what order the game checks the damage in, could it be right? On 10 FotM with 25 AR, sometimes my heal barley does anything when i have agony debuff at maw. I wait for it to be over now but in harder fractals i want to be able to heal ASAP and not worry if i waste it
edit: also could have something to do with a partial way to keep people from going to high in level fractals (i.e. just healing at jade maw through agony). the heal not working could be part of the mechanics in place to block people from progressing too far yet
It hurts/cripples parties if anyone tries to be a “pure” anything. No one should kittenhole their class into only doing 1 thing.
I was fighting Nokk today and 3 people got pushed into lava at different times and couldnt respawn. Since other lava battles have gotten the safety net (CoF Story End Boss/Possiblkittend Boss Lava Fix) can we maybe get a way for teammates to res if we get hit off the bridge, into the lava near Nokk.
I got jumped in automatically with Leap of Faith but the others said they got pushed off.
P.S. We beat him too!

It would be nice if all dungeons/paths were loot scaled to the difficulty. In the general and specific sense.
Examples:
CoF should give less loot then arah.
CoF p1 should give less loot than p3.
TA F/U Should give more tokens than F/F or U/U and more tokens in general then AC
Whenever I do dungeons, people are so silent. It is rare I get a group that actually types, making it fun. I dont expect constant convo but why are so many people so against typing out even one sentence? Makes everything wierd to me.

I try to explain, people end up thinking im being bossy or the party is so eerily silent by not typing the entire run, it feels awkward breaking the silence.
Also, people need to speak up if they dont know. I dont want to explain every run, if people are exp, this is seen as a insult. If they say up front, Im more than happy to explain

Id recommend doing path1 with an ele who has Ice Bow for a level 35. Path 2, the end part can prove difficult and path 3 is the hardest. Path 1 you should be OK, assuming you dont aggro kholer. (he doesnt even have to be aggroed if you go the right way)
If there is parts you cannot run through, your team can always fight as most of the stuff is just gravelings

Hi I recently made 50 Omnomberry Pies. I then realized you can make Omnomberry Ghosts, for seemingly very close to the same price and ingredients, BUT THEY LAST 15 MINS LONGER and make you a ghost!! Thats so much better, idk why anyone would even use pie anymore. I can see different level 70/80 Consumables but these are both 80, same stats cept Ghost is better. Now I just wasted 50 Omnoms..
I really dont think the people posting have played warriors, as I was a disbeliever before I got mine to 80. I never really wanted one, but after I made it, other DPS looked like a joke. Id perfer to play a thief, I loved gw1, I was an assassin to the core, but it is what it is.
As for that 8-9k damage in one chain, in PVT gear thats about my end burst for 100blades, not to mention, the 8 or so hits before that doing up to the 9k end burst. So yes 9k damage is actually great, few classes can hit that number, but in the end, theres always another class that can do it better
I think that most 1h swords in the game are underused. maybe for this reason
well my guardian does the 3rd most dps out of 6 level 80’s so regardless of its weaknessess, its still decent considering the survivibility

Thief can match warrior DPS but few thieves actually do it. Most will just auto attack with daggers or backstab. If you want to compete with warriors, pistol whip spam is the way to go.
Just form your own groups, I do so all the time and it usually works out.
No, they actually cant. My thief runs full ascended gear, glass cannon. My war runs PVT. My war does more DPS. tested.
because heavy classes deal the same DPS as thieves, but can live longer. guards have slightly less damage, but way more survivibility so people seem to like those
