4 × 5 or 5 × 4? Was gonna suggest 16 v 16 but kitten me 20 / 4 anyways
spvp is much more tactic aware than wvw. In spvp there are 3 big components : player mechanic, player rotation on the map and team coordinations . In wvw, if you roam you have only player mechanic : i win if i am better of my opponent or if i am a counter ( in rare cases when fights are balanced in number ) , if you go behind a zerg … the only thing that makes the difference is numbers …. the biggest one usually wins …
Not to throw more fire on the blaze you incited but you’ve clearly never ran a 15-25 man guild squad with a competent commander in ts. I’ve been in 15mans that stone 30-40man blobs.
A great commander does more then double dodge, fake and penetrate to backline, decent commanders can do that. Great commanders inspire a stack like you’d find at IHOP on free pancake day. Their power comes within the decisions made pre-initial push and post push, not the push tactics.
I have been in all levels of commander skill groups, my old guild folded on leader/ quit but that man could spin a doctor suessian rhyme that burned twice size groups. We have 1 elite guild with a commander similarly spitting flames and he is training one of our (guilds) 4 drivers that has potential to be within our servers top 3 ts commanders along side him.
There is a Cadence to commanding, a flow, wit and improvised decision making. All of this is additive to class builds, gear, player skill, group synergy, boon distribution, stack and squad makeup. You tell me where there isn’t tactics?
Clearly you aren’t in a guild that requires build/gear roles and each member to have a front and backline toon in the ready. Contingencies with design. Does your guild edit on the fly when they meet up with condi bomb mag vs power stack or boonshare groups or epi heavy necro groups or stab galore guard groups. Does your guild train multiple drivers, associate a backup driver?
Just saying…your vision seems narrow.
(edited by Jacion.6302)
Weird becuase marauders and durability runes is still the kitten kitten kitkat kitten cat.
The secret here is “backup drivers”
It’s really simple…
Pin snipers are trying to turn an organized pugmander zerg into a flopping mess of scattered omni-group bad boon distributed back peddlers.
Organized fight guilds don’t have this issue because there is a backup commander at the ready and it utilized as soon as commander calls being downed and res stack / rally / banner are a fail. I’ve seen multiple times a fight turn around post-mortem when the alt commander gets everyone to restack and push.
Teamspeak goes a long way here.
Proper group synergy and boonshare also goes a long way here.
Your commander should be able to recognize they are being focused and change tactics as well as prepare the groups follow up tactics if they are downed.
Organized groups with an active player base communication in ts will overcome the small hassle of pin sniping.
Additionally, pin snipers the enemy…problem solved. Divide and conquer is always the goal, be it pin sniping or pushing and wiping backline or splitting / flanking / choke bombing.
IF you are having a problem, it is your organization that is at fault.
T4 last week was a lot of fun even with the lopsided time zones. Each side had a single map blob which made attack/defense entertaining with all the shuffling between maps. Roaming was pretty fantastic even if I was being a pain to NSP (they know). Even the PPT which few care about came down to the last few hours.
T4 this week is watching SBI with multiple map blobs roll over pretty much everything. Servers are still trying but towards the end of NA Prime you could tell map chat was a somber relatively joyless conversation unlike last week.
Yeah, I’m on SBI now and we really have no business being in T4. I feel like BG against TC in T1 and its not very fun. T4 tried to bring it at first, but then they got discouraged and now they run away (can’t blame them). I like fighting FA, YB and JQ even if we don’t win most of the fights at least its fun.
Weird since my guild on DB had good fights last night in SBI BL and wiped your 3 different guild groups of yours and weven were also wiped a couple times. Seemed fairly give and take to me.
Transfer to a server where there is activity, server pride is dead,.
Don’t listen to a merc
So today I was randomly thinking about the difference in open world wvw and gvg comps and then got onto thinking about things, like how a bad guardian would be better in a zerg, compared to a bad mesmer or (in my opinion) a bad warrior. This in turn went onto thinking about how these opinions would shift in regards to the classes being played at their skill cap.
TL:DR What class, when played to it’s skill cap, do you think would add the most value to a zerg?
Interesting. The comparison comes down to what classes button mash still supports group makeup when face rolling. Guardian fist smashing keyboard is still likely to throw some stability/ heals vs a selfish built war isn’t contributing to group at all. However I’d attest that the skill floor to be a O.K. war is really low and such it would be a very very bad player to pull off being a bad war. It’s a bit apples and oranges. A great warrior has a completely different role in a group then a guardian.
There are barely sizeable ‘zergs’ around and its more like small pockets of roamers trying to fight one another and seize objectives.
BTW this is a misconception. T4 runs 40-50 man zergs most prime time evenings in NA.

Was a joke post but of course the gullible kids button mash again assuming. I still own a flip phone, loading a YouTube video would be like organic chemistry to me.
Yeah this Jabroni has a video of my thief from 4years ago that I never took down. A character I haven’t played in 3yrs and that gets used only for rich iron Farm log in log out and occasionally to craft saffron bread / dyes.

Sounds an awful lot like crafting stations in alpine bl.
How? In what possible way does adding something to an already existing wvw vendor, with currency you already earn in wvw, sound like having crafting stations in the alpine bl?
“unique thing to draw the PvE/PvP players into WvW”
Your idea will only be utilized by WvWers and not PvE players, it will not drive people to WvW to actually play and “like” crafting stations in WvW will be a option void of increasing any meaningful participation in the game mode by people who prefer another game mode.
That argument makes no sense. People will need to play to earn badges and proofs, otherwise they would have no reason to talk to the vendors.
Yes, which means no one from PvE will use the vendor
Okay….. So who the kitten cares if they don’t? Maybe go back and re read the original post, I feel like you really aren’t getting the idea.
“unique thing to draw the PvE/PvP players into WvW”
Your words, not mine
Okay I really have no kittening clue what argument you are trying to make. This is something that would benefit wvw players. If it encourages pve players to start playing wvw, cool. But that’s not the end goal of this idea, I really don’t give a kitten if they come or not, this is a good change for wvw players no matter what pve players do.
I agree and don’t debate the benefits for core wvw but please understand in your initial post literally the whole 2nd paragraph is a call to how this idea will drive pve players to wvw. So you understand I am saying you are wrong in that regard and you can put emphasis on the main idea (first paragraph) the benefits to WvWers all you want and I will agree with you on that.
What about “taming” the grub with supplys (food) in eb? Could mount a lot of seige on that beast.

Still not Everquest…18years and 22 expansions
By that logic EQ is no UO which is still around.
In one year, WoW generated more revenue than every EQ title. Add in the cross over marketing, China release and each WoW expansion and WoW generated more revenue than pretty much every MMO combined. WoW is an unparalleled success and before its run is over will likely hold the most profitable game ever.
u did forgot to mention that WoW is also the reason why MMO’s are all utterly kitten now.
many many players do not want arena pvp
many players do not want a “map” setup for pvp only
many players do not want to follow kittenty quest in order to lvl
many players do not want dungeons to hide your kitten to lvl up/gear upu see?
im coming from mmo where it took u days/weeks/months (depending on your lvl obviously) to lvl up it took u even longer to get gear.
the whole market was community driven etc quest where non sense u had to kill 100 mobs of x for y reward while 2 mobs in other zone would give u more XP reward already then whole quest would give u after 100 mobs.this is what i want again.
raid spawned in open world u had to PvP for them in order to kill them, u didnt simply go to dungeon and do your silly raid in peace.
nope u had to get half your clan, one pt to kill raid multiple parties to deffend your kitten .these are mmo’s where u find them now?
nowhere because every1 is little spoiled brat now, oooh if it has open world pvp i get ganked all the time by higher lvls its not fun
oooh if it has no quest i have to grind all the time its not fun
oooh if it has no dungeons then where is the content?i mean i do not want content, i want to grind cus grind means pvp for XP spots.
and then not to mention wow has no impact on this but the free 2 play market that has turned almost every game into Pay 2 win.. hands down for gw2 for having a shop ingame that has no impact on the game at all.
tbh i just miss the good old korean grind games with open world pvp and no dungeons.
Though your talking about Korean games, this literally sounds like vanilla eq /kunark/Velious
But on a side note, Korean based game companies are some of the first to adopt the cosmetic cash shops becuase for some weird reason Korean players “need” their characters to be females in undies with bunny ears. Example : Vindictus
T1 and T2 drama……lol
I personally couldn’t be more glad now that my server is scrapping in lower tiers, we ran up to t1 and things got dirty with bandwagon, whiners, mercs and condi spam servers…
Now we have a beautiful population every night, active community, no reason for mercs to come here and good fights.
You “elites” can keep the top tier whine game, our fights are still gvg and blob 40-50 v 40-50 but without the drama.
It’s not the same. I can afk with squad participation.
I make twice that money in an evening selling raids.Oh yeah? Well I make twice that selling counterfeit arrowcarts behind a shed in Foghaven!
Best comment of the day award.
But seriously, as I have said multiple times, gift of battle track is unbelievably easy to fill.
Wvw tracks literally take 1-2 play sessions to complete.
Always compare that to world completion / gift of exploration. We take you to wvw for 8hrs out of your preferred game mode, you take us into pve for 2weeks. Not to mention, you can complete gift of battle track unlimited times but I can only complete gift of exploration once per character.
Guess what, half the other stuff for a legendary is also pve based….2 maxed trade skills….that’s a huge out of wvw’ers preferred game mode time (though at this point I have all trades maxed, lmao)…what about dungeon currency needed for a legendary…yeah we get a rewards track to get dungeon currency but first you need to go pve and run story mode to unlock the track.
PvE players are complaining about 1 white peice of rice in their Brown rice, WvW’ers ordered the white rice and anet gave them Brown rice.
Even swapping a map is too much work for the WvW team.
It took them a year to replace one borderland.
Yet from the time they reintroduced dbbl and added to monuments to South center map + the shrine jumping pads with bird/fire graphics was a fair short turn around.
Work being done in a timely manner is possible.
Additionally i’d like to mention that both of those updates I had seen on this actual forum as player based suggestions to enhance dbbl.

Yeah. The profitability of WoW can’t be questioned. Part of WoW’s success is that from the on set it was playable by even meager computers. Compared to say PoP/Velious EQ expansions which overhauled the graphics required just within the 2 and 3rd expansion. That’s not even getting into EQ2 which abuses pc resources like that’s it’s main function.
UO lol yeah true but different breed/generation of mmorpgs.
WoW followed suit of many early EQ concepts and GW2 has taken those concepts from WoW in other directions. Vanilla EQ had multiple pvp servers with open fighting across good vs evil races, duels and an open arena in PvE servers for group fights, WoW enhanced the idea of team battles through instanced skirmishes, has an arena and a pvp server option for horde vs alliance but implemented rules against grifting low level players and anti train mechanics. Gw2 takes that the last step forward putting pvp/wvw in exclusively instanced areas which player level adjustment and in the case of PvP, equipment equalization. Similarly EQ vanilla had exp loss on death and corpse holding ALL your equipment that must be retrieved nude before timer deletes all your stuff, WoW had exp loss…gw2 has minimal repair costs. I know UO has a lot of these mechanics but in a scale of pen and paper rpg to modern pc mmorpgs, UO falls more into a digital pen and paper sandbox then what we accept as a mmorpg standard these days.
can you define “failure” for me
I want that kind of failure. I mean the game after a decade is STILL the most popular MMORPG and a total cash cow.
Still not Everquest…18years and 22 expansions
But on topic… find a friend or 2 and literally all your little stealth salt problems go away…also, don’t play in full zerker gear…tank up a bit….at 3300 armor and 27k hp, thieves can attempt to gank me…they just bounce off me and stealth their little behinds off to lick their wounds or sit smoldering in the dirt.
If they revert it to 1 bleed it needs to be moved to Adept (or even Minor).
1 bleed is not a GM worthy trait. 1 bleed is terrible compared to most GM traits available.
Add another defensive trait in the GM slot.
Then we have guys complaining about 2 necros using it at the same time;
16 stacks = 2080 per tick i would say it is “fair” 2080 but then lets just say it happens u meet with 2 necros then RIP in peace bro guaratated 40 stacks of bleed thats 5200/second without other condis….
2080 per tick is not massive whatsoever.
Try getting hit by 2+ burn guards at the same time or 2 of anything. 2 CORs… lmao.
WvW , land of Paper Tigers
A possible way to fix guardians. Remove boons.
A possibe fix for stealth. Delete thieves.Epi isn’t a problem, deal with it.

All GW2 players are bad.

90%?
Wouldn’t explain the same people night after night across both my guild and the other major guilds on my server. It takes 8 hrs to fill a reward track, these guys…the 90% of wvw population, are logging 3+hrs a night for atleast 5 days a week…that’s a minimum of 15hrs or almost 2 tracks filled. So this info is bogus
I was clearly speculating, have some simple sense. No one aside Anet can give us clear statistics. But really – since the track system appeared in WvW (more particulary the changes to gift of battle) the population grow, and NOT because they LIKE WvW, but simple because almost every regular player at some point of time wants to craft himself a legendary. This is actually my only complaint. Anet must add ways to get that gift without going to that game mode (like some crafting in mystic forge for pve or track in structured pvp). If that happens lets see how the population will stand. I’ll tell u how – the same as before the track system changed – veeery low, limited to only these “major guilds” that wonna have big aoe spam fests alongside here and there newbies curious about what WvW is at all.
I’ll be honest – I experienced pretty much the same as OP and after a while I never stepped in WvW again. Tho the same way pvp players hate pve noobs in their game modes, the same way pve players hate pvp players in their game modes. And being forced to do something pvp for the sake of pve or the opposite is gonna keep bringing unhappy players until fixed, or never fixed and be remembered as a massive negative.
If you wonna play basketball you don’t go to a football field do you?Regardless the population the issues are still there.
No disrespect, im stating an opinion…cuz nowdays everyone are triggered in a single letter.
Perhaps your perception is server based because on my server we have roamers, small skirmish groups, havoc groups and not tagged 10-25 person guild groups all hours and blob tags from Asian players in am and 2-5 NA tags during pm prime time and I can safely say 80% of players I see are from about 8 guilds that have consistent presence in wvw even when not in guild raids or zerg. I can 100% promise you that if I log on at any hour that my guild has atleast 10 members in wvw and we usually max out around 70 members of our 498 members in wvw at prime hours (we are pvx). With that said…putting in 4-5 hrs average per day in wvw 7 days a week, that I very very rarely witness a nonguilded player (1 in 100/150 players) and as I said 80% are 8 or so guilds which leaves 20% pugs who could be in wvw for gift of battle…but again…remember…and I stress….it takes 8 hrs to get the gift of Battle, which makes these 20% odd guild WvW players highly unlikely to be gift of Battle track chasers if they spend more than 3-4 session in wvw.
Perhaps you’re in some kind of weird time zone for your server or your server just has a horrible wvw population but this doesn’t compute with how my server runs.
We have that dedicated Asian guild that runs tag in eastern time zone mornings and I can tell you that even when we are red bottom of matchup team, that often the Asian guild stomps one of the other team when they are on becuase of lack of player presence for the other team in those hours. Hell, atleast the last 3 Thursday mornings I’ve been able to sneak in an hour of wvw before work, they have 3 tiered smc, taken an enemy keep in ebg and atleast 1 keep (usually hills) in enemies bl and that’s when we are outmatched by outnumbered in pm prime time. Additionally we are outnumbered on 1-2 bl every night and we get a queue on ebg nightly and often in home bl, we also almost always have a tag in dbbl when we aren’t red so people who talk about no one playing dbbl I always felt that was odd too. Again, perhaps your server doesn’t wvw? Low low tier?
Desolation EU.
And you missed my point, I generally don’t care how many players play WvW I want an out-of-wvw option for my gift of battle and I will never care at all to step there. I dislike the idea of trying to bring pve players in pvp zones. And if u are playing on NA server – only normal, americans are mostly playing pvp games, i rarely see any non-european to play a pve game.
The flip side is the exorbitantly huge amount of time it took me, a wvw player, to get gift of exploration.
8 hrs is nothing
90%?

Balance is fine.
Post something silly… salt free Zone
Necros are fine, try taking a shower to remove the salt. Chrono and thieves are fine too.
Solo’d a silly thief trying to gank me yesterday, he couldn’t get me lower then 85% hp…there are no problems here.
Move along people
I support this concept.
We have attempted tagging down and targeting the commander but it is…
1- harder to see (commander)
2- completely lose the ability to focus targets, which is one of the secrets that separate organized guilds wiping zergs from the pugmanders.
Are you using lfg / join in ds option?
Every time I have ever gone into ds I have been able to complete meta.
We are on mega servers for pve, so your experience should be the same or you are doing something wrong
Looks like you mercs are our lesser in the linking. Do not expect any db to transfer you out of dh at delinking.
DB has spent it’s last dollar on mercs and are promoting server loyalty
Yours truly,

Xenesis “Lastly, I and think most people started as solo roaming players and it can be pretty tough learning the wvw ropes as such. Once you interact with groups you can learn new things about wvw and that experience goes back to other parts of wvw game play.”
This is a great example of the benefits to you to atleast run a little group play. I can tell you, Shwyx, that without some experience with where players tend to go and what towers are considered easy caps/flips then you are crippling your roam.
How deep and far are roamers willing to go to get fights and where can you generally find them will go a long way to your own roaming.
Now I don’t generally roam but have and love the Alpine BL camp loop, or hiding in trees in South camp. By camp loop I mean, run on eastern edge past SE camp and veteran harpy…up behind hills and solo NE camp, proceed through centaurs and either solo N camp or skip…depending on how the map forces are moving about and go to NW camp through the ditch and solo that….way point and reset.
All 3 north camps are likely to have solo enemies passing through for nodes or to recap their loss camp, they aren’t likely camps to pull full zerg unless there is a /map shout that there is substantial people flipping their stuff, so you should be relatively safe from large groups. NW is the key here, it is a quick go to for the enemy to get their veteran daily off wurm and get camp capture if you flip it, there are also a couple semi-hideout/ vantage points for you and 3 possible exits….one of which (north) offers 3 additional routes….and most people won’t chase you into the jumping puzzle. If I was playing roam theif in ebg and I wasn’t Sitting at fast flip towers like durious and watching the camp, I’d probably be waiting around the mob camps (frogs, orges, dredge) …example is that 1 -3 people on low population hours on green team will eventually move through dredge tunnels to cata ANZ, be ready to gank them…or hell, sit at South exit of tunnel and pull the people running between rogues/ wildcreek. And that’s just talking about green side of the map.
There is always someone in wvw, low population times just mean no tags and watch map for sentry / guard taps to find where the roamers are fooling around….be omnipresent.
BTW, it takes a long time to get to 195 tick for rewards track if you’re capping camps but 15mins to max out in a zerg.
BTW btw, your tick stays with you if you log into another character.
BTW btw btw, maintaining your tick can be down easily with little caps like camps / towers / kills.
You want rewards…log onto a zerg toon, run with tag for 15-20mins, log off and onto your theif and roam for roamers kills…taking small locations to keep your tick up.
Done deal

Thanks for the various replies so far.
I’ll never understand why people need such a LARGE carrot dangled infront of them to have, “Fun”…
I’m not asking for handouts, which you would have noticed had you actually read my post instead of jumping to conclusions. I am asking for a coherent game mode, however.
Playing fractals rewards me stuff that helps with fractals. Playing PvP nets me insane rewards, especially considering I need no equipment at all for PvP. Playing WvW – where better gear actually means better chances (single digit %, sure, but still) and stat swapping would be amazing – nets me nothing that would help with WvW.
Your post is a cry for help and we are willing to help but we need more information.
It wasn’t exactly supposed to be a cry for help, more a plea to whom it may concern. WvW isn’t exactly doing well (judging from the forums, Reddit and other sources) and I’m pretty sure the newcomer’s experience with it is one reason among many.
As for what I’m playing: primarily Ranger and Thief, and considering to gear my Engineer. I’m aware of Metabattle and the current builds. I’m also aware of the fact that copying a meta build doesn’t result in immediate success.
I’m not specifically looking to get better, as I’m well aware that this takes time and is at odds with a casual’s playstyle. What I’m wondering is why WvW isn’t as well done as the other game modes. Open world exploration, fractals, PvP, even dungeons: I can play these anywhere from 30 minutes to several hours and achieve stuff, reap rewards and have fun. Especially after the recent fractal and PvP reworks. WvW, not so much.
You are slightly wrong in the rewards department since you can do generally 2-4 runs of a rewards track to be able to buy…ascended backpiece in season 3 maps or auric basin runes or as I had just did, the geodes needed for dry top armite weapons.
Additionally you are rewarded siege which is directly beneficial to wvw. My guardian who is waiting on me to finish building my legendary is before I gear him out in full ascended is my siege drop toon and he has maybe 50 peices of siege on him, 100% from my main doing wvw rewards tracks.
You are playing 2 medium armor classes and thinking about a third. Thieves gank roam but are kicked out of groups left and right, druids can have their place in groups but generally get picked on also…engineer can God mode and command but has one of the most complicated rotations in the game….
You are having problems enjoying wvw but you have also pigeonholed yourself into 1 aspect of wvw. Try a guard/rev front liner or Nike beserker front liner. Ele front line or backline or necro power and see those big numbers you are occasionally enjoying on your thief but now on 5+ targets.
This morning we took the enemies hills and a bloody crafty mesmer Portaled half of us across the bridge behind the enemy zerg, 2 trebs and ACs. It was a beautiful beautiful moment. Try a chronomancer….hell, mesmer translates over pretty easy from roam to group to zerg which is better than your theif who can only roam.
Now I have a maxed theif d/p daredevil with short bow and years ago we used to be able to shadowstep / daggerstorm bag farm zergs but with 14k hp and today’s rev reflect…you are just butter.
Make your 3rd character a heavy/light…
Or commander build that engineer. Get a taste of the other side of wvw, play havoc group and guild squads and jump on your thief to harass….don’t build all your characters for 20% of the game mode.

The name of this game is GUILD WARS not INDIVIDUAL WARS.
If u wanna go roam and get ur reward tracks done, go to PVP
or get good and beat em.
Why are u asking for a same treatment when u didn’t do nothing. No pain no gain yo.
i don’t understand why so many newbies complain about how veterans outplay them.
GOD DANG IT
Well here’s the thing – “git gud” way that u are talking about is not as easy as it is for these so called “veterans” which are playing most likely since the very start of the game and had a slow proper learning curve which atm is impossible for new players as they get straight into hardmode oneshot by thieves or pmesmers (or sorta style roamers) without even getting a chance to apply some kind of skill based combat.
And on the topic of rewards – im 100% sure over 90% of ppl that go to WvW are actually pve players that want to get their Gift of Battle and get out of there. And since u can get that only and only from WvW they have no choice. Its just another thing that anet is trying to force pve players get into, that they do not want to, but is part of their otherwise full pve experience. Or simply put – im sure no pve player would ever miss WvW if they put Gift of Battle aquireable from some pve source (dungeon, meta events etc etc).As for our fella that tried to get into WvW – its been like that from start. Its not gonna change. Just play some other mode, don’t waste your time with it.
“maps where large zergs attempt to re-enact renaissance-era prearranged battles”
This is strange to me. I have been in thousands of zerg v zerg bashes and I have witnessed maybe 1 battle that might qualify as a open field attack reset attack reset cycle between 2 guild led 30+ zergs in front of hills with the intent of proving whose guild was better.
Most zerg skirmishes are generally short affairs of target cap/defend or open field back and forth tI’ll someone falls back / flees or is wipes.
Additionally you are way underutilizing your potential. I took a year break and came back to leveling my main from maybe 10-15 to 80 exclusively in wvw, it’s a friendly game mode. Your information is at odds with itself, 1-5people can cap towers…you say you are on 2/3rds of the time to nearly empty BL, but you can only take camps? It isn’t hard if your not being attacked by actual players to take down a gate/wall, I’ve seen many of small havoc groups cap towers on ignored BLs without any trouble. There are also places you can set up trebs from a tower or camp and hit another tower. I have run 2 man group and capped towers with a golem.
Yes it can be a pain in the kitten to build siege solo but it is possible.
I agree with others about joining a guild, if you don’t want to zerg then that’s your source of small group companions. Roam all you want but expect a roamers reward for doing it. Roamers rewards is just the thrill of successfully killing someone 1v1. Take a friend and harass the enemy and learn tactics.
Perhaps you aren’t built correctly? Armor stats / utilities/ runes / traits? This has a lot to do with being successful and your set up drastically changes according to if you are solo roam, small team roam, havoc party, small guild party, large guild party, guild zerg or public blob.
You have given us no information on what you are playing, playing a power necro or a condi necro…guess what, huge huge difference. Bunker ele or glass? If you get what I mean.
Your post is a cry for help and we are willing to help but we need more information.
Unlike in traditional wvw, EOTM doesn’t suffer from a lack of pugmanders, so this will help spread out players on different maps and bring an influx of players in for guilds to recruit or reform with.
“All North American worlds will be matched up with one another as well. Worlds will be matched according to which color they are in the current WvW matchup. For example, all green worlds will be on the same team in the Edge of the Mists”
The color you play on EOTM is a combination of many servers, thus those pugmanders and the population in EOTM are not necessarily of your server or even your current linking.
This would not translate exactly to more numbers for your server or more tags. Additionally when there isn’t a queue the people on EOTM are there and not on regular borderlands for a reason (probably karma rank farmers) and probably don’t want to play WvW. This idea would probably just cause those folks to flock to a PvE karma farm.
On the other hand I cringed when I read “favourite gamemode”. Pretty sure they assume WvW is no ones favourite mode at this point
Weird, since I have 100% map completion, personal/HoT/living story episodes all complete, done every event in HoT and have a dedicated fractal character (though I don’t dabble but a hand full of times in pvp)
I log every day in wvw and it is my favorite mode.
I literally only use pve/fractals to assist with gold farm/mat Farm to better wvw. Wvw is why I play…
So opinion doesn’t equal fact.
Edit: with full ascended gear
Everything is broken in WvW…
OR everything is working as intended. Prospective.
This idea would be very easy to exploit. Think about it for a bit and I think you can see how.
There is no exploit with this, think about it for a bit and you can see how.
So my guild squad splits in twine and pinch / flanks enemy zerg. Done deal. I gain more strategies in ts and get two of my commanders tagging at same time when we ppk harassing. You get to still be a bag.
Side note – serg? Zerg! Semantics.
Side note par deux ~ I use all the best punctuation!
nerf burst

nerfbat loves allhere ya go bro 5k armor warrior autoproc bossmode
Trade in 800 of that armor (3300, but could trade 600 for 3500, diminishing returns after 3500) and get that base HP up for condi defense. You can easily keep that attack power while having 3300 armor and with bl map buffs 29k HP.
Hello
I am trying to collect the very last spoon for Koutalophile. I have done my research here:
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Siege_Commander's_Spoon
Currenlty I have spent 31 hours in WvW, spread over the last couple of weeks. I have killed:
201 Veteran Guard
1 Champion Tower Lord
97 Quartermasters
3 ArchersAnd so far the luck is not at my side. The reason I have been counting my time spent and kills is because a couple of friends have issues and told me about the spoon not dropping for them too.
As far as RNG goes, this seems a bit off the table to me. Anyone else have these odd numbers, and is there an WvW Developer who can tell us what the estimate drop-rate is. Is it just that extremely rare, or is something going on?
With most kind regards
A dedicated AP Hunter
How in 31hrs have you only killed 1 tower lord?
Minstrel’s Armor?
