Maybe she approached the Arcane Council and said that if she won, she would fund research into how the reactor blew up in exchange for them making waypoints cheaper for a time?
Fort Aspenwood does it after reset pretty much everyday. Not many people do it after that, though until reset rolls back around.
Jennah has more than Fifty-years old? o.O lol …. She has no appeareance for this xD
(Jubilee, as some are saying, is a comemoration for a fifty-year in a position).
A Golden Jubilee is 50 years.
The Queen of England celebrated her Diamond Jubilee last year, which is 60 years.
A jubilee is just another word for a celebration of an anniversary.
Much appreciated, ANet. My bank will feel much less claustrophobic now.
Voldemort?!
Poor Mai. An Avada Kedavra is coming her way.

The Charr on the right, is ROX… probably drawn by a different artist
http://i.imgur.com/TxnF8wo.jpgI don’t understand how it’s not incredibly obvious to people that this is Rox. Has it been that long since Flame and Frost?
The unusual shaped horns, the gold rings at the base of the horns, the red braids, the skull on her left shoulder. I understand she looks like a centaur there, but she is also clearly Rox.
It’s not incredibly obvious to people because its facial features are nothing like a charr’s. Its facial features coupled with the horns on its head relate it to a centaur more than a charr.
You could be right – maybe that is Rox, but if it is, then the artist drawing her seems to have completely forgotten what charr look like.
Paul Eiding who voices Roy Campbell is in GW2, too.
In the outtakes at 42 seconds: https://soundcloud.com/arenanet/guild-wars-2-voiceover
He references MGS.
He voices the Vigil mentor, by the way.
Southsun Survival is gonna be on a permanent rotation with the other minigames.
You can still get the Karka Queen achievement from Secret of Southsun despite that being over, and the Moa Racing one from Dragon Bash, and you’ll still be able to get the Southsun Survival one once these 2 weeks are done, too.
Also telling people to ‘stop hating’ and then having ‘stupid little Americans’ above it probably isn’t the best way to garner support.
The Quartz should appear in every home instance regardless of whether you have an Asura, Charr, Norn, etc.
As soon as you activate it, it will appear in every home instance. Even if you only have a human character, you can still go to Rata Sum and go there to mine it.
At a guess, Kiel told some influential Asura that if she won, she would fund research into the Thaumanova Reactor in exchange for them reducing waypoint costs for a time.
What has me more interested, though, is that a Charr is interested in the fall of a Human God.
The cheaper keys is temporary, too.
I assume that regardless of the outcome, we’ll get both fractals anyway. It’s just one will come first by the end of this year.
You can listen to the music here: https://soundcloud.com/arenanet
An English actor voices him. He’s done some stuff in Eastenders.
Yes, please MORE of these cutscenes, ANet. I think they’re my favourite way you guys tell storytelling. They’re much better than the two person face to face dialogue, and while I like usual cutscenes, this style is the best you’ve come up with as far as I care.
I was disappointed the release didn’t have more of them besides Story Dungeon and a couple of Personal Story ones!
Keep ’em up, please!
The detail in general that went into decorating Lion’s Arch. Each time I go there, I keep finding new little details that I love. The paintings on the ground, the steam covers, the new little things they’ve placed around LA like the statues.
The other thing I’m liking is having more to do for my third 100% explore character as they explore the map. It can be a bit tedious doing it for the third time, but getting coffers from drops and having things like that to hunt help up the variety a bit, and the possibility of getting a ticket just by mapping is nice.
I don’t have that experience.
Me and a Guildmate ran around Iron Marches for an hour doing the holograms all over the map. I occasionally got nothing from the enemies that spawned, and I occasionally got 1, or 2. I also occasionally got 4 coffers from them for the entire hour I was there.
It seems, at least in my experience, that it’s exactly the same as before.
The same thing they did in GW1.
If someone is afk, they get a debuff placed upon them that doesn’t allow them to participate in any form of PvP for a period of time.
If they get this debuff whilst in a PvP game, they get kicked from it.
They’ve made hints about filling in the Great Collapse in Divinity’s Reach.
Whether or not it’ll be replaced by a Canthan quarter, we shall see.
I’ve seen a number of people in my guild get tickets just from the normal coffers.
Someone else in my guild also spent 25 Festive Coffers and got 1 ticket.
Methinks it may relate to Living Story content in the future. Though it does suck for those that need world completion for their legendary.
They may change it so it can be accessed from the outside.
It’s in Divinity’s Reach.
South East of the map.
I think the sewer grate nearby is new, too.

They did, but it’s just become buried in threads, and the thread title doesn’t directly ask the question.
The answer is: No. It’s not staying.
The game draws inspiration from the crab guild challenge but plays a bit differently. There’s achievements, titles, and prizes for participants and winners.
Crab Toss will only be around for the duration of living story events at Southsun Cove. But don’t be too sad, as far as activities go, you might have a very exciting year ahead of you.

This is a minor bug, but I can reproduce it 100%.
If you double click a character from character select screen, and then immediately double click another character, the game will begin to load the first character and their location and then load the second character, which causes the game to crash.
Hey ANet,
As a large guild, we have problems where members are starting Rushes, Challenges, Puzzles, etc. earlier than the guild would like them to. This can cause them to fail (especially with challenges), and can cause members to get frustrated as they don’t get to the start in time. We’ve done kicks in the past and made it clear to members not to activate it, but we still get the occasional troll messing it all up.
What we’d like to happen is that only members with Mission Control in their permissions are able to start Rushes, Challenges and Puzzles.
With bounties, it’s understandable as when you’ve got 3 minutes left for example, you want anyone to be able to activate it if there’s a small group there. However, even with the above suggestion, it’d be as easy as giving members ‘Mission Control’ temporarily so they can start it.
Ideally, we’d love to be able to set controls for each guild mission, but for now, just making sure that Rushes, Challenges and Puzzles can’t be started without ‘Mission Control’ would be great!
Thanks.
Odd.
Either way, grab the missing waypoint and see if that fixes it.
They recently added one in Snowden Drifts to the west of the map. Otherwise, you’re missing the extra ones added in Plains of Ashford (South West at Guild Puzzle), Brisban Wildlands (North West at Guild Puzzle), Straits of Devastation (North West) or Cursed Shore (South West corner).
They didn’t give a heads up because they’ve always been there. They appear when an enemy’s body disappears and you haven’t looted it yet. The reason you’re seeing them more often in Southsun Cove is because the settlers that don’t die (but instead go neutral when their health drops) drop loot.
As for them being more visible: sure.

Club TropiKarka, drinks are freeeeee!
No, I don’t. But +1 for Gorillaz!
Well, one of the achievement names is 'Crazed Karka Queen Killer'. There are quite a few spoilers in the achievements thus far…which is a shame.
I’m not sure, Konig.
The flavour text on the item is: The Karka have mysterious biological properties.
We haven’t seen a Queen yet.
EDIT: Sorry, I misread. I hadn’t thought about them being corrupted Karka. I agree, though.

They did this somewhat with F&F so I was surprised they didn’t here.
If you had gotten far enough in your personal story, some NPCs recognised you as commander of the pact. Seems they just forgot to do it or didn’t have the time.
Regina recently posted that you’ll get another chance to do it tomorrow. Check the dev tracker.
ANet already said they’ll bring SAB back, they’ve just not said when. They want to finish up world 2, then world 3 and then world 4.
I was porting for free earlier (as I hope all mesmers are…) and so were quite a few in my server. Try guesting to a more popular server and ask politely.
Hello!
With the recent addition of the flower backpiece, I’m facing a dilemma. I love Rox’s quiver and the flower on my Sylvari ranger but I can’t display both at the same time.
I know, first world Tyrian problems.
Is there anyway we can get a purely cosmetic slot (that gives no stats) in addition to the backpiece one? I understand this’ll bring clipping issues for some items, but I feel that’s up to the player.
More customisation options are always good!
There’s a reason I just don’t so this and I (luckily) am an example of it. Last month, I spent no money on keys, got a map completion key on my alt and got the weapon ticket.
This wasn’t to brag, but it’s the exact reason I don’t gamble with my actual money. There are people that’ll spend nothing and get one, but then there are those that’ll have the unfortunate luck to spend hundreds and get nothing. If you want to try your chances, give yourself a limit and then just stop trying. It’s not worth it.
I agree that spending money on guaranteed skins is the way forward, but that’s not what they’ve chosen so far. It can be annoying to have a skin you want now and never get it, but in a month’s time, you probably won’t care about that skin anymore and you’ll have saved yourself money.
Granted. But exactly one month after you tame it, it becomes a champion Karka and is hostile to you.
To your last comment: no.
You need to be holding the crab whilst everyone else is knocked down (by rolling Karka). It’s not very well written.
I actually thought I heard new music at Southsun…or was it always there?
It wasn’t beach party themed, but I hadn’t heard it before.
I’m not sure, Sarie.
They could be using the Southsun punch pick up. It heals you and restores your endurance. If you pick it up before you have the crab, it stays on your bar.
Yeah the achievement is pretty poorly written.
I’ve got it but I’m not gonna pretend it was skill. I just so happened to use skill 3 when there were 3 Karka in the map rolling toward the group after me and they all got hit and I evaded it.
Edit: it’s free for all. The idea of the second crab skill is this:
You throw it to someone who is after you (only safe when one is) they get knocked down, as they get up, you use skill 1 and steal it back and run. It’s a kinda risk vs reward thing. If you’ve got good timing, you can knock them down, steal it back and run.
Well Braham and Rox’s weapons weren’t available until the final stage…so there’s still hope, right?
No game is worth a monthly sub to me, so no.
I believe the ’upcoming update’’ he mentioned was the 30th one. Most of the bugfixes they mention they’re working on come with the monthly content update.
I actually prefer new AC to the old one. The bosses don’t have a boringly massive amount of health, and the new mechanics are more fun than spamming skills while occasionally dodging.
I got one on my 2nd chest after my 2nd map completion key.
A guildie got one after 90 keys.
I’ve heard it so often, I know most of the conversation off of the top of my head.
Human: Which way to the outhouse?
Asuran: We don’t have outhouses – we have water closets.
Human: Like…latrines?
Asuran: No. They all flow into the same sewer system and that all goes out to sea.
Human: ….that’s more than I really needed to know.
Asuran: Hey, you asked! Just don’t ask me if anything lives down there.
Human: You’ve got yourself a deal!
But yes, like WonderfulCT said, I don’t think you can actually see them.
I personally believe they should bring back Hamstorm.
What kind of name are you looking for?
Do you want something that suits the lore? Do you want a funny one? A pun? Something that sounds epic?
Odd.
Did you try to go where it should be and spam F to see if it would check off?
Still, thanks for informing me. When I run our Tier 3 Trek later this week and if this location turn up, I’ll make sure someone goes there first so we don’t waste our time if it’s bugged.
Also it may help ANet to know what server you’re on.
