There are only a limited number of ways to apply condi while in stealth so you kinda need pain inverter even though racial skills are generally weaker.

Well, the test with prayer to lyssa worked. Target got poisoned and reveal didn’t triggered. Pain inverter should have the same effect.
Durability runes are sub par imo and need a buff.

Well, i can problably test that with my human thief and prayer to lyssa (give a random condi to enemy, deals no dmg). The principle must be the same.

Considering they have wheels (at least the pleb ones), I don’t think it’s hard to imagine.
Funny thing tho is that the dude you quoted says “I’m voting down for any developments” which is actually what the loudmouths of this forum want since they are all against the pool results that happened. So you are complaining about a dude who voted “No” to the Desert Borderlands, repairs hammer and cannons.
Gates and walls sometimes get glitched in their breaking animations. so you’ll see a lot of dust and debris flying until that’s fixed (again).
If I apply confusion to a siege, the damage for skill usage is applicable?
I’ve seen flying NPCs not only on WvW but also on PvE maps.
Dolyaks position bug got even worse than it was before with some dolyaks walking completely out of their route. Spel Dolyak was seen going to red spawn while Veloka Dolyak was glitching through the ground.
My Warrior’s Rush is getting stuck often on terrain and my longbow skills are getting more obstructured than before on “plain” terrain.
Is it really a nerf to mesmers? Seems to me its still going to be powerful.
It’s a question of managing how you use your healing spell. Mesmers and thieves could simply abuse headshot/power block to keep interupting you without having to use their healing spell which can get them out of a sticky situation. While it will be easier to apply more confusions now, if you fail to end your enemy, you’ll be in a situation where you could need your healing skill and you have it on cooldown because you used it offensively.
Cmon, you must be joking. If you crash a kid with a plane, but “nerf” it down to a truck its still overpowered as hell. Guess how many revenants using condi will be using this kitten now due to the 2 heals.
I’m pretty sure it have a icd, so I don’t see how having 2 heals is a big advantage on this. If that don’t have a icd, I could just run healing mantra with harmonious mantras trait and spam 3 heals on top of my enemies.
At least it’s faster for the siege-haters to Meteor Shower everything on top of walls now. Just share venoms with a zerker staff ele and watch the siege melt to both insane direct damage and condis alike.
Won’t matter until they nerf 100% resistance uptime boon blobs.

I think China has politics of not being open. Every game that have China servers are blocked of any outside interaction, so that’s clearly not possible.
Now about mixing NA/EU, the latency issue will continue with your proposed change. Let’s say Ruins of Surmia become guest for Jade Quarry. In your idea JQ is host, so they use NA servers for that, which means players from RoS will be experiencing the latency change. And if it happen the otherway around such as Eredon Terrace becoming guest for Desolation. Players from Eredon Terrace will experience the lag due Desolation server being in EU.
This is a technological innability and I’m not sure if there is any way around that. Mind you that I play from South America, so for me that make no difference (I have high latency on both EU and NA with EU being slightly worse).

The thief still have to exchange his utilities (and his survival along with aht) for the venoms. Except for basilisk, but stun do not stack duration, so if everyone just gang upon the same target it won’t have full effect.

Please… I can kill condi necros using condis myself… Necro isn’t all that mean anymore. Funny enough condi necros cannot take much condi pressure, and right now Chronocancer can easily outweight a necro on that matter (15+ stacks of torment AND confusions wut?). Just load them with condis, dodge the plague signet, stay away from staff 4 and watch them die.
1. Stop linking low tier servers with top tier servers (!) instead make links between the lowtier servers. Link 3-4 at same time, i dont see the problem. Just add for example the top linked low tier servers to the bottom ones – and done. The majority of the guys playing on these servers played there because they wanted to avoid the top tier blobs and enjoy sitting on unattacked waypoints :p
Have you taken a look at T4 NA? If you don’t see a problem in that tier, you are the one who have problems.

If it’s really an issue, deleting Dire isn’t the solution. Add PvE/WvW only runes that increase your condi clearing to counteract the additional condi pressure that runes like Perplexity add.
Trailblazer is expensive af… It’s not every WvW’er who have that much gold to spend.
You are living in some strange world if you think most people would opt for a tactic that has a higher risk of loss just so they give their opponent a fair match. No one wants to run back from the waypoint if they can avoid it.
So they just go back to the wp instead of try to fight for their tower and if they lose they go back to the wp. What?
I don’t mind when people run when we clearly outnumber the defending force. But honestly, I’ve seen groups of about the same size as mine to just tuck their tails and run away once their walls are down.
On the bright side for your enemy, it would take all day to march them to the garrison.
Honestly, it’s rather quick to march omegas to garrison on ABL. This map is kinda small. Imagine this on DBL tho…

camps are pretty easy to solo tho… there was this one time i did it solo on a lv1 warrior, Literally didnt even complete the starting instance and went straight to wvw, it was not easy, but i did manage to solo it with just my autoattack, F1 with one bar of adrenaline and my heal xD…
You cannot enter wvw from the starter instance, ever.
I belive you were able to do it before, but not now. They fixed that. I had friends who had a legit level 1 character on spvp. You could just exit to LA from HotM and use the portals to WvW.
Improve the camp guards’ skill sets so they are not being absolutely wrecked by even solo players.
Lowering the timer on swords will be even more punishing for solo players than simply improving the guards.
Another item I would like to see is Marked Traps. Good for camps and elsewhere.
You want to make the camp harder to take but says that making the swords pop faster will punish solo players? I don’t get it…
The delayed swords on objectives currently allows tactical taps.
IE triggering swords at a location you are NOT at.
But if some players need extra time to help with defence of their camps.
I can adjust to faster swords, after all I play in a PvP enabled zone. Without an enemy, there is no WvW.
The swords used to be up right at the start of the event long ago. I don’t remember why they changed it, but we never bothered much with the change. Now, for tower and keeps it still pretty fine, but for camps, by the time swords coem up the guards are likely to be all dead and the camp is flipping.
Why not? I like to try different builds (…) It much easier to do so with multiple toons. It also cheaper in the long run.

Unfortunely, it’s just a maybe, not a certain.
For the same reason that there is a cap on daily achievement points. If it’s perceived as impossible to catch up to the leaders in a game, entry into that game stops. They limited achievement points from dailies so that new players have hopes of catching up and thus care about daily achievements. Something similar has to be done to keep 3 year vets from having too much advantage over 3 week noobs. Plenty of research into gamification and incentive in skilled areas shows this is true.
The “vets” should have an absurd advantage solution smells like Donald Trump.
Dude, anyone can teach the “veteran tricks” to a new player willing to learn… Hell my guild have some few month old players who can run over your average player simply because they were interested in learn a few new tricks. You just want it to dumb it down so they don’t need to learn anything, only walk around spamming 1 like the great majority of the player base do.

Hm… I just clear siege, drain supply, send some folks to kill inbound yaks, and turn the place into Swiss cheese with cats. Doesn’t seem to matter who has it claimed…
Of course, most of the time what I actually want is the defenders to come out and play, which is why I’m breaking into their stuff in the first place.
Occasionally, you get some fun fights when an entire guild starts escorting yaks…. (salute to my fa friends)

ANeT – Company who created and administers game – has guild for employees – employees represent company – employees reflect on the company – Devs can judge any player in the game – employees are suppose to support game play – picking a side shows lack of impartiality = favoritism(conflict of interest if you want).
They are not picking sides when there are arena net players claiming structures in several different servers. They would be picking side if they always only claimed stuff in the same server everytime. That’s not the first structure claimed by them, and I hope that’s not the last because we love to show Anet our ‘love’.
This is the problem with the game mode, it favors so many “tricks” that only veterans can know about (like putting defensive siege where it can’t be hit unless you also know the “counter spot”) and is so offputting to any new players, that nobody wants to try it out, or if they do they get steamrolled and never go back.
These “Veterans” had to learn their tricks, just as the new players will learn eventually (if they have enough interest ofc). We all learned to play WvW the hard way, why new players need to be given a easy route? Sure, game mode is ‘dying’ and in need of players. But if these players give up in the first wipe, they are not meant to be in this game mode anyway.
