To all my TC friends don’t feed the trolls…..Ok you can feed them cookies. Before you ask, you can send them via catapults, trebuchets, ballistas, and arrow carts, but not on golems or rams as they will get squished.

No reward for me last night for daily. I submitted a report and then tried to get a few more done. Sitting at 7/5 and still no chest.

I’m glad culling is effecting PvE maybe now they will add more resources to fix the situation. Sorry not to rain on anyone’s parade but lets face it they weren’t going to fix it anytime soon if it was just a WvW thing, look at the empty orb holders

The guests should get lower priority on a certain zone and kicked to an overflow if a native player to the server cannot get into the zone. Then if you want to play with your friend simply go to the overflow and allow the host server player to enjoy their server’s zone.

Very true but I’m sure just like me we will not forget or forgive so easily if by the next patch our concerns are still not dealt with. I know I had only considered this game to be my home but with the continual smack in the face of WvW/RvR community I am now eager to see what Elder Scrolls can do.

You get additional achievement points and xp. What did you want more karma and another laurel? Come on then everyone would be complaining about how they had to grind more for the daily. I think xp and achievement points is just fine. It you want more go grind FoTM for hours.

It’s insane how much the WvW community gets forgotten in this game. I thought this was suppose to be the shinning part of meta end game….. but we still have no viable way to earn money in WvW due to expensive upgrades and armor fix. Still have culling, still no orbs. Outmanned buff is absolutely pointless. Oh and no way to acquire BIS ascended. Hmm I think it is time for them to give a whole lot more care to this part of the community!

I’ve never had 50 ectos at one time. Running a full stable of alts puts paid to that, and my rare/exotic drop rate isn’t what I’d call generous. I’m more likely to get to 40 laurels before I get 50 ectos.
This new gearing policy of theirs that relies on grind is positively hateful.
I want max gear for peanuts, just the way it was in GW1.
All these eejits insisting that max stats should require grind because that’s how every other MMO does it have spoiled this game.

Ah well, yet another reason to continue not to buy gems.

Well said buddy, the requirements for the new items are downright stupid for anyone that doesn’t like to grind to no tomorrow. Infact, here’s a key quote from the staff found here :“I can’t tell you how many times I played Quest for Glory; the game didn’t give me 25 daily quests I needed to log in and do—I played it multiple times because it was fun!”

Yes, because it sure is “fun” needing to grind dailies for ridiculous amounts of time (30-70 dailies & counting if you can sign in every day.) just to outfit one of my characters with gear that doesn’t put her at a fixed statistical disadvantage.

With the gear treadmill and eventual lvl increase along with us already seeing mounts this game is nothing but another remake of the same tired mmo design… It’s sad because I had such high hopes for this game. Let’s hope TESO does it better.

Threads like these show just how lazy some are. The easiest thing to say is this class or that class is so OP nerf now. Instead got to sPvP and roll that class see it’s mechanics then you will be better suited to fight them. I must agree that if they could get culling solved in WvW you will hopefully see less people complain….but again that’s a hope, because kids will still get all but hurt because they were rolling around in zerk gear and got spiked before they could spike.

Also, note my main is a warrior which has no problem dealing with thieves. my next char is a guardian again no problem, and my other alt is a ranger….and wow again not an issue to fight a thief. Re-read my post and if you still can’t learn to adjust your fighting dependent on each class you fight I suggest uninstalling immediately

Honestly this thread sounds like a bunch of hurt kids crying because they were bested by another person. Thieves are not op…yes culling allows them to not render but bind a closest target and boom there they are….Next PTV gear it’s not a suggestion…you are no help if you are dead so lose the noob zerk gear. Finally learn your class you have skills/utilities/ traits that will reflect damage, break stuns, and cc your opponents. A great one is pain inverter that will melt a thief. PS true perma stealth thieves do crap for damage.

You do realize that as a glass cannon they have maybe 1900 toughness/ 14000 health. Run some PTV gear and learn to use confusion/retribution/reflect along with evade and stun break. Collect their badges rinse and repeat.

I 100% agree with you OP. Let us all hope TESO learns from GW2’s mistakes and gives the proper amount of attention to WvW or RvR PvP.

Easiest way to combay a zerg would be for them to raise the cap for AOE targets. Then a coordinated 5 man group could wipe a full zerg if they decided to clump. This would empower the idea of 5 man parties roaming but allow zergs for certain elements.

TC is truly a welcoming server I encourage anyone thinking about it to take the plunge the water’s great

Yep, only two guild went to TC. Two went to Blackgate, I believe a few went to Kaineng, one went to JQ.

I think the rivalry TC and CD have had since I can remember has jaded most former CD-ers from transferring to TC. xD

I know I’ve always despised TC… but maybe it’s because when CD sees TC, we just roll over without trying.

I sure hope it’s not over for CD but with the loss of VaL, LaZY, GoF, KH, and a few other guilds WvW will be more of a struggle. I heard FA took sf(or fs idk what their name was) and that was a promising overnight crew.

I moved over yesterday and am very pleased at how team focused TC is in WvW along with how populated the PvE maps are!

So here’s an update my guild decided to go with Blackgate for their alliance. After doing my research I and a handful other players decided TC was the server for us. I am going to be registering on the server forum tomorrow. If you are currently recruiting and would like to add a few more to your ranks could you pm me with your website and a contact. Thank you all again!

Hi all! My guild is PvX which makes us need to cater to both our pve element and our wvw groups. We total around 150 and field approximately 30 wvw on reset and about 15-20 throughout the match. We have multiple commanders that are knowledgeable and conscious of other guilds on maps and try to coordinate with them. Is TC a good fit for us? We would like to stay within tier 2 or 3.

What no loot/drop fix? Dumb aoe heal fix! What about orb fix? What about ascended items outside of the dumb dungeon? Fix your game!

I 100% agree with you OP and if Arenanet chooses not to listen to us I very much hope that another developer will. I will gladly uninstall this game for a game with developers that understand that there are a lot of us out there that do not want a vertical progression MMO and we are the ones with funding to continue to buy things in their online stores.

I like how they didn’t even have the balls to make a full announcement. This company will not be around once a better game comes out. You have lost our trust as fans amd the locust will move on as well.

Ryan I 100% agree with you do not be dissuaded by the WoW and D 3 trolls here. They don’t understand what Guild Wars is, they have been brainwashed by years of being on the treadmill of other MMOs

OP the problem is they did listen to the vocal minority. You know the ones that after 2.5 months were unhappy and crying for gear progression. The problem is the quiet majority stayed quiet well now Anet has pissed us off.

Of course! It took them 3 months to do this….give it 6 more and they will try to fill the “gap” again!

Last night I logged on and sat around LA for a while. Considered doing some dungeons but then thought why even bother getting gear that in 2 days will be obsolete? Then I also thought with this new gear and new dungeon the exotics that enticed many to run these dungeons will be gone and we will all be on the hamster wheel of FotM. Despondent about a game I really love going this way I logged off 20 minutes later. Has anyone else felt that way?

So Anet listened to people who were unhappy with the game because they have been brainwashed by other games that made you constantly look for the next best item. Sorry Anet but this was the wrong crowd to listen to. They will be in for a max of 2 weeks and leave again complaining about how crappy your game is. When they return to Panda land the ones that remain will be the ones that you use to be respected by. Now we are just waiting for the next best game to progress to since you care little about our opinions.

Anet got this wrong, the people they are listening to are not the longtime supporters of the original GW. Basically if you continue this course you can expect to lose the people that supported you for years and have been diehard proponents for this game. If I wanted to gear grind for stats I would have gone with the pandas!

Small stat increases = a big difference in Wv3 when you have a full set of armor, meaning everyone will have to grind it out or be left with a stat gap that makes the PvP horrible.
