All this screaming about FA zerging, it has been my observation from the small man havoc side of FA that EBay and CD zergs are just bad. Sure when your zerg gets absolutely destroyed by an enemy zerg it is easy to claim they had superior numbers but you also have to take into account the possibility of superior builds, tactics and position.

All this silver league play has brought me to the conclusion that it is not 100% numbers that wins in WvW. Numbers are a factor yes, but these insane blowouts are just a lack of willing offensive pressure from opposing servers.

No, actually these insane blowouts are specifically because of numbers. Go look at the score evolution on MOS. Every night, FA firmly holds a healthy PPT of between 400 and 600 starting some time around 10pm that lasts until 6-8am. Do you lead us in other times of the day? Yes. Would you win without the overnight presence? Yes. Would it be an insane blowout? No, the numbers would be much more reasonable.

As a server, you also have the population to hold a heavy presence in more than one map at a time during primetime hours, and fight on multiple fronts during the daytime/EU hours. That is something that my server is simply incapable of doing. If we queue a borderland in primetime during the week, that’s everyone we have – all eggs in one basket.

You guys can self high five all you want, but the numbers are the numbers. Insane blowouts happen because of numbers and coverage. Zergs wipe to zergs from all three sides of the battle. FA doesn’t have some kind of flawless battle record that you can lord over us.

This post is solely because I take strong issue specifically with your statement that numbers are only a small factor in insane blowouts and that somehow we need to L2P. They are the one and only cause of insane blowouts and there is really no way around that. I’ve never once complained about your servers zerging habits. My guild actively hunts your zergs and we’d be disappointed if you didn’t field them. Do you beat us in the open field? Yes. Do we beat you as well? Also yes. FA is equally guilty of tucking it’s tail between it’s legs and running on sight of the [VOID] tag after a few beatdowns in a row as an EBay zerg is of doing the same against some of your stellar guilds. It happens, it’s the zerg mentality.

So if VOID is able to make the FA zerg run in fear why not map hop and take everything for your server. Clearly you are sooooo superior that we can do nothing but lay our swords down and pray for mercy.

I love how all of these players are calling a guild out that has absolutely roflstomped the IoJ server all week. At least playing as under dogs has made us hone our skills and become much better players than we could ever have been otherwise.

When the numbers are close to equal we have prevailed more than lost because also rans in zergs never really have to fight, its done before they really make an impact.

Jay you couldn’t be farther from the truth. First, Aldrick and Vis are trying to be nice to you guys, but every time they offer an encouraging post you guys try to use it as a way to attack CORE for leaving. A bit pathetic don’t you think.

Second, in equal fights IoJ absolutely melts. For many groups people will stack and buff, but when we see IoJ we don’t even worry about stacking. Why you might ask? Well, you all are running zerk gear and crap for class composition. It’s amazing how many rangers I have seen in your groups. Re-roll or forever be a bag for the opposition. Sorry if the truth hurts but besides hiding in a tower/keep you guys are garbage only because you choose to be. Listen to guilds like MEND who know class composition and learn.

Could a dev confirm that this would take added resources please? If not then please please please get this in the game for enemy and friendly.

Is MEX a guild? I have only seen ONE and GLOB with a handful of other small guilds but that’s it for guilds sticking together. So glad you kicked imaginary butt out there….might need to get some sleep because you are hallucinating.

I have seen this all week and we have even been whispering the other server begging them to just fight and not tower/keep hug. Unfortunately even us offering to pay for their repairs would not entice them to fight.

Wow UNO you guys are pretty amazing, I haven’t been there to see you wipe any FA guilds but everything you post makes you guys sound pretty 1337. To the Yaks Bend thief in CDBL Bay that tried to 1v1 me on the plateau, please note that the perplexity rune pistol build is old and if you insist on using it try to watch if those stacks of confusion were swapped to you before continuing. Was very entertaining to watch you basically punch yourself in the face.

If YB was as skilled in PvP as their [ONE] guild is skilled in PvF they would be unstoppable! Too bad all the hype runs out once they log into WvW

IoJ is in a rut atm… we spend more time defending what we have than capping things in eb (even then sometimes our zerg is just too small to do anything). I mean we kind of have to, there are lone periods of time where we just dont have commanders on.

Yeah. WvW can be fun, but not when Anet throws you against two big zerg servers. Opponents near our WvW pop levels for equitable fights would make it a hell of a lot more fun.

2: I’m learning to NOT CLICK with my new mouse (Razer Naga), this one though is a little frustrating with my heals before fighting then hand spasms pressing all buttons ahaha

Took me about a week to get use to my naga hex, but now I don’t even think about it. Muscle memory ftw! XD and to the above you seph.
We would have been perfectly fine, core and se wimped out for leagues last minute after saying they were staying. So now we are all left to clean up their mess, they pushed us to silver and then they leave.

Yes, we got you to silver league. Then silver league changed to include higher ranked servers. We were excited. Then it once again became a “come save bay CORE! God. Why didn’t you help us with defense? Do you even care ahout IoJ?”

We didn’t want that. I’m sorry if that’s tough to understand. For CORE to continue, we needed to move. That’s it.

Hate us all you want. But please don’t say we wimped out. We pushed hard and then the server died on us. It’s a two way street.

I enjoyed fighting beside CORE. Pretty decent peeps. All except Joey. Imma spike him.

I wouldn’t mind WvW only armor that was free as long as we could replicate all stat options. If so that would allow people to truly play the game the way they want. For those super against this, is it because you like your power creep and don’t feel confident in your skill to beat someone with the same power level?
