Honestly folks are pretty tame except for those that feed the trolls like yourself. I’m sure with your 1500 range you love the change and I can’t blame you but since I have every class maxed with gear I can see each side. Was stab OP before yes, it was too easily applied and very hard to remove adequately, but in the current setup CC is too easily applied and leads to Pirate ship standoff meta. I think some retooling of CC and stab are in order and quickly.
I bet you the WvW devs just sit and laugh every time they hear that using stability is skillful and using CC is mindless…

You came back 2 days after a huge update that made stability a stacked buff instead of solely duration. They also changed the view so you can easily desiege everything.
Actually even numbered fights are doable it’s the big uneven ones that aren’t anymore.

Everyone screamed and complained about how zergs and blobs steamrolled through everything – so a change was made to level the field a bit and everyone is screaming how they cannot steamroll through everything.
I don’t think you understand…Right now when a coordinated group goes to fight a zerg so let’s say 20v40+ stab comes off almost immediately because the zerg/blob/whatever can spam CC almost constantly and the coordinated group only has a limited amount of stab. Now if Anets design is for the smaller group to have no chance even if they are better coordinated then GGWP, but if they didn’t mean for that to happen then make ranged CCs not just a mindless spammed attack.
So if the stab change is here to stay why not adjust ranged CC attacks. Statics, lines, walls etc. Make the cast time slightly longer then before and make the duration of the attack lower. This will increase the need for skill on where to place the CCs and could still reward skill over spam.
I feel like these stability changes were designed and meant for the Revenant with their aoe stab on dodge, to be with them and silly ANet decided to plop it out now.
Wouldn’t be surprised if they had a trailer soon just showing the Revenant dodging all over and dropping roads with a link to a pre order. #REVstabHYPE
Crit dmg nerf, might stack nerf and stab nerf = ggwp for smaller groups fighting blob. Best thing to do now is range the blob and become a pirate….aaaasrrrrggggfhhh kill me now
These changes definitely have a huge effect in WvW. The FoV might not be bad when the new map comes but currently you can desiege keeps with an AC outside. The stability change seems to be a deliberate attempt to drop the player skill to a casual group of 1 spamming blobs with no challenge besides if they have enough supply to build rams. Pretty rough hit to WvW.
The blob definitely has a superior advantage and with so many AoE CCs it’s rough to even peel the group without a few of your group getting stuck. Baiting works a bit but with crit dmg nerf and this stab change the blob runs through groups of 20 pretty easily now.
They are just pushing WvW to be more and more casual. They didn’t like the fact that smaller groups were wrecking their zergs full of 1 button mashing casuals.
They aren’t just ignoring GvG they just destroyed the current norm of it.
Not if you make the votes for unique individuals. If you have 10 people trolling on your map at once then GG.
Not that hard you kitten of a player that takes supply from the Tower your scouting then 9 guildis help him remove all siege you build.
Haha sucks to be on your server if you have a full group of 10 actively trolling you.
This change definitely makes a zerg that much more potent when trying to zerg bust.

What T5 server are you talking about CD or IoJ both got their WvW population destroyed by being in T3.
For troll siege I wish there was a vote ability to destroy, where it would take like 10 votes.
I feel bad for those servers that already have to fight outnumbered….this will make people not even think about going into WvW on blowout weeks.
They should allow either wvw map completion or pve map completion. Fair is fair.

All I know is fighting an asura Mesmer sucks and picking an asura ele or necro out of a zerg is harder than a charr or norn.

Most want you to record gameplay to see how you play. Are you in the proper position do you use the proper skills when the driver calls for it etc. As for poisoning it’s a choice to play with them so no they do what they want and you need to decide if that’s what you would like to do or not.
Haha do you remember some of the submissions, people were able to vent in a very funny way.
Big armies are easily scouted long before they arrive at objectives why not do the same for zergs. My suggestion is that if over a set number of players are within a 2400 unit range of each other that the map pings their location every 30 seconds. This would allow the zerg still an element of surprise but would also give the opposition knowledge of where the big numbers are; to either try to defend key points or play havoc and pull some of the players to other locations.

This game caters to casual gameplay which means it caters to zerging. The players will find the easiest method to win which currently is overwhelming numbers and flash building golems, catas, or rams.
I how they really do a proper look at the proposed changes. I don’t mind change but hopefully not too extreme.
Ugh badges are such a waste, all I use them for is siege since armor and weapons will steal your runes/sigils if you ever want to change stats.
At level 20 your up leveling will not put you on par with true 80s with gear. You also lack trait lines. I would suggest going to EOTM until you reach 80 from there get exotic gear and a proper build and head into your server’s VOIP and see the true WvW experience. You are more than welcome to come into the normal WvW now but you will be a target for gankers and could easily get frustrated.
Good idea but the issue is QoL for those in Tier 1 NA.
If it took longer GGWP after the first 30 min of the game for servers with a huge numbers disadvantage. At least this allows for small groups to possibly take something.
