No sPvPers in the forums? :\

In sPvP specifically. What I mean is, add points for downing a player in sPvP, just 5 is all I ask since a lot of battles in sPvP consist of 1v1’s that are incredibly exciting until both players have a rock throwing competition on the ground.

If you’re a lvl80 getting owned in the starter zones, then you’re a bot. You should know how to dodge and how to utilise your skills since you’ve been using them so long. Also, as a level 80, your damage is still a lot due to your equipment.

I don’t think loot should scale, because it’d be so easy to get a lot of drops very fast.

Got the same problem, maybe they’re updating? But if that is true, WHERE THE F*** IS THE COMMUNICATION?

Because thieves need the speed to get in and out quickly, we squishy.

If weapons were indeed able to be customised, I think cultural and legendary weapons wouldn’t be able to be dyed.

I agree that the speed dropping after combat, then going back to normal speed does take quite a while. But something I don’t understand is that you said giving us more than 2 dodges would make this game more skillful? wut? dodging attacks are already easy, adding even more energy to dodge more would just be annoying. (In PvP that is..)

I just have to laugh at those who keep using WoW as a reference to literally anything and everything, when almost every mmo ever conceived have offered mounts in their game.
I also love the folks here who get so angry at others who simply “suggest” a possible feature in the game, that they feel the need to insult and attempt to tell them to leave GW2 altogether.
After all, is this not the suggestion forum, or am i mistaken?

Because most of those MMO’s are wannabe WoW clones, ArenaNet is all about making their OWN things, they don’t copy & paste 99% of things from other MMO’s just to get a lot of money.

It’s not about the cost, it’s about the feel of the game. Have you ever played GW1? If so you should understand why mounts should never be in GW2 & it’s annoying when everyone is on mounts just to look ‘cool’.

It’s also annoying when everyone in PvE just wants to farm Citadel of Flame because the armor looks the “coolest”. Please……

You do get rewarded for ressurecting people. You get xp and there’s also an achievement you can get for doing it.

This would only work on some items, because I would love to wear my mask and hood at same time. There was a glitch that when I transmuted the hood to my mask stats where the mask would still be there, it looked awesome.

My mesmer had a zodiac sword and shield just for Illusionary Weaponry goofing.

Nice, that was my favourite skin in GW1 for a while. Never use the skin in GW2 anymore though because I’ve seen it too much.

There is no way to say which is a better set, what you find beautiful I find ugly and vice versa. Why should I farm a dungeon that I don’t like but you do for 3 times as many tokens because you feel it’s armor is nicer?

Using OP’s idea it would be difficult to set a price on sets since everyone has different preferences. Only way it would work is to make all dungeon armor sets cost the same amount of tokens but the tokens rewarded are scaled by the difficulty of the dungeon.

+1 I’d preview a lot of stuff.

1. Joining the mists.
2. Joining an empty room in the browser.
3. Having your friend join on you.

Yeah, that’s really a lot of effort to practice. Oh wait, no it isn’t; and PvPers have been doing it since the BWEs. It gives you exactly the environment you’re after with dueling, and get this, you actually practice on the maps in play.

You should really take the time to build a solid argument for why dueling should be implemented sooner rather than later, because as it stands, it’s redundant.
Anet has already stated in a GW2guru post about 6 months ago that dueling is a feature that the community wants to see and they may implement it down the road. I think it would be a cool QoL feature, but it’s not needed for the game to have legs, as you seem to think.

In conclusion, thanks for completely missing the point of my post, instead opting to attack me as “trying to be a Anet feature rep.” You truly are the king of non-constructive posts.

Playing in an empty room doesn’t prevent other people from joining, which WILL happen. Asking them to leave isn’t very polite either since they will be using the hot join button. What the other person said, “Let suggestions be suggestions.”.

Just a simple 1v1 duel system that you can request anywhere, anytime with anyone.

Also it’d be great to add a feature to where you have to bet some money which the victor wins if the other person is defeated. This system will only work if equal amounts of money is betted otherwise the duel won’t start (stops scamming). If you don’t want to bet money, don’t! Just have both players bet 0

I would LOVE if there were a makeover pack, I started not liking my Sylvari face after noticing it doesn’t go well with the masks and I found an alternative face that does. But I don’t want to lose all my achievements and leveling I’ve spent on my main, I dislike alts, I prefer putting all my time into my main.

So yeah, makeover packs similar to GW1 Please! Oh and about the race change thing that’d affect story doesn’t bother me, I would never change from Sylvari to another race SYLVARI FTW!
