If you think PvPing in such terrains that contain jumping obstacles, tight corners and elevated mountain areas is completely acceptable, then your the idiot.

It is acceptable, I was facing 3 other invaders vs me. I killed them all due to taking advantage of the terrain (near the fire trap after the well staircase thing). I jumped to the top, mystic dagger jumped down, steal, C&D then get back up there. Initiative is fully recharged, rinse and repeat.

Just need to learn how to play really

It’s PvP, if you were expecting not to get killed by other PLAYERS in a PvP zone, you’re an idiot.

You can also see the star through walls, when I kill invaders and they run from me behind a wall, I can sometimes still see it. I think it depends on the width of the wall though.

only because I really liked in GW1 how EVERYONE in the town participated in a minigame. It was fun and hilarious with friends, typing in your emotes as fast as you can and hoping to be the one to challenge Mad King with a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors…

Seriously, the rewards are crap and if you’re not gonna buff the drops from chest, then bump up the Event Reward to 20 silver instead of like, what? 5?

I wouldn’t them so much if the dodge mechanic dodged as soon as you press it, instead of how evades only come into effect when you’re halfway through the animation…

Mmm, although I love orbs being out of play, it would’ve been cool if you just switched the buffs it gives. As someone else said, the orbs could have just increased Magic Find and Gold dropped by enemies.

Like the glitched dungeons and stealth rendering in WvW along with others things will be fixed with the Nov15th patch right?………RIGHT?! Q.Q

Warriors are crap for PvP anyway, if you wanna kill the thief, you gotta make sure you immobilize him somehow. Use Whirlwind or whatever it is called when he stealths, stomp, bullrush for KD > Frenzy > HB. If he’s glass cannon, he’ll be dead before HB even finishes.

Or maybe add more obvious jumping puzzles that are mild in difficulty in the starting zones? That would improve the players ability to…..I dunno, jump?

How the heck did you get scammed? If you played the trust game with mail, then that was a dumb move. The reason there is no trade system is because there’s no need for one, you can see the lowest buying prices and highest selling prices on the Tradepost.

Getting this after shouting in map chat once “LFG etc etc etc”, I try the same line again literally 5 minutes later (sat and had a cig while waiting for any1 to reply to first shout), tried again and got this message.

Not the first time this has happened either, it makes trying to find a group for anything pretty god kitten hard, is the spam system bugged or something ? Can you not repeat the same line of text once or twice every 10 minutes ?

I’m at a real loss here, No idea what to say, besides the fact that this is just dumb.

This happened to me as well, I did 3 of the same message with about a 1 minute interval inbetween and got suppressed messaging. I missed 2 dungeon groups because I couldn’t chat for a while. I’m seriously in awe at how stupid this is

Pro Tip: Go to Heart of the Mists in sPvP and to the right of where you enter the area is a PvP locker. In the locker it has every skin for every armor and weapon (except for legendary’s).

No thx, I like knowing what skill I’ll get when I know what my targets class and weapon is.

No don’t give them better stats, otherwise EVERYONE will be running around with legendary weapons if it gives them the edge. Legendary’s are a endgame weapon & endgame in GW2 is all about cosmetics, this is how it was intended to be and this is how it will stay.

Then they’d have to make new skills, in GW1 everyone could use every weapon yes, but they all had to select a few skills that EVERYONE could use. No class in GW2 has the same skills.

Well since it’s wintersday, at the end of the event, it would be cool if Jormag stormed the place and ruined the whole thing. Then ANet releases an announcement trailer for the Far Shiverpeaks expansion :P

No this is an mmo, it should be multiplayer. If you want a single player game then play one. The heroes were one of the horrible things about GW1. Solo levelling is one thing, but dungeons?

Joining a guild would help, and otherwise they have said they’ll be improving the dungeon finder tool.

I could solo a dungeon in GW1, and when that build got nerfed I could just run NPC’s. Not only was it more effective than a PUG, but it was less time consuming and less bullkitten that’d you have with stupid players.

I think Tengu are going to be next. There’s an area in Lion’s Arch blocked by a group of Tengu near a place that looks like where a starting area would be. Next to it is Kessex Hills, the place after the human starting area.

I’d love Tengu to be next, I loved them in GW1 and was hoping they’d be playable at launch of GW2.

I hope they include them, even if they do have clipping issues with some items, I need a back item that isn’t a bag lol

They say not to miss certain events, but when these are going on, everyone in Aus, NZ and maybe asia (?) will be at work or school…
