Are you using any well traits like Vampiric Rituals, or anything else that maybe gives an effect to casting well of blood? That tends to be the issue, things like stunbreaks that have a cast time get put on full CD when interrupted. I’ll head in game to test it out though.

Not sure if its always been like this, but Well of Blood gets full interrupted it seem. It can be interrupted and not go off at all and go on full cooldown.

No thanks. Tomes -> shards allows players with absolutely no use for tomes to get a currency out of them. Shards -> tomes would allow players to run around in the Silverwastes, etc on a level 80 and level alts through it. We’d have even more people who can’t play their level 80, fully geared classes.
how does that change anything from people that level up in WvW and EOTM, or staying in low level zones?
some people learn to play their class faster than others regardless of how long it takes to level.
IMO, warrior should get another useful baseline elite to go with the class before the Elite Spec skills.
Rampage is causing too much problems in PvP and likely will result in more future nerfs. Let’s just be honest about that right now.
Signet of Rage is not for everybody. Me personally I enjoy more control/tanky builds and support builds. This doesn’t aid me much in PvP with my playstyle.
Rez Banner is go for one thing. Maybe could be pretty cool if it had more unique elements compared to standard banners.
I suggest a 4th Elite Skill that fits a more defensive or support play style separate from Rampage. That way the damage reductioness and damage boost of its effect can be separated for balance while giving players options for picking the best for their play style.

Something I noticed is that the Jotun in The Wide Expanse, in Dredgehaunt Cliffs, may be some of the first Berserker Elite Specializations in the game.
They use Melee Torch off hand weapon.
Cant help but notice that they seem to do some sort of Dual Strike with it similar to 2hander weapon animation for Great Sword.
Maybe that has something to do with the leaked F2 skill on the Warrior in HoT.

I would really like this Harpoon skin on my staff collection for HoT.
Maybe it’s some of the strong desire not to be a transform thing kicking in for me, but I doubt it. If they had to make transforms for all the possible pets, it’d be a lot of work just for a line that might not even be used by every ranger build.
no it just need one transformation for each family of pet.
Why would something be wrong? They just updated the interface is all.
Seen some of the things hackers go out of their way to recreate false websites, and sometimes make small mistakes here and there.
I tried login to the forum like usual, but had a different screen I never seen before. Usually my password and username is saved into the browser and just need to click the login button. But this time it didn’t even go to that page. A new ArenaNet page came up when clicking login, and I had to retune my info.
Could that be a sign that something is wrong?
I still believe Glint will be focused on one of the two underpowered roles in GW2 ( Healing and Tanking) which these elite specialization supposed to address to for this new group content.

also note that since its a offhand weapon we likely getting new F2 skill.
While I would rather have Staff over Rifle thematically, I feel it would be odd for 2 of the 3 medium armor classes to get the same elite weapon (melee staff).

Kinda strange they revealed every single light armor profession so far, but not a single medium armored.

Me personally i believe that something happen in the Ranger reveal which forced them to skip it for the Elementalist reveal instead.

Staff would be great for the auto-attack (unlike mace and hammer which rely on skill #2 which is locked out at level 1). But there’s also the question of starting legend since level 1 characters get a healing skill, and Ventari would be a bad choice since it doesn’t have a true self-heal.
My vote goes for sword + assassin stance, gives you a sufficiently complex and strong auto-attack, and a way to heal yourself while being thematically consistent between weapon and legend.
Im placing my bet on mace >.> most classes start with a single 1h weapon.
Once all classes started with a 1h weapon yes, but they changed the system, e.g. gave lvl1 rangers longbow.
Assassin doesnt have a true heal. Only demon and dwarf have that.
In order from most interesting to least interesting:
1) Reaper
2)Dragon Hunter
3)Chronomancer
4)Tempest
I’m not sure where you got that from my op. In short, aftering unlocking the new weapon, it makes no sense that it can only be equipped with the elite spec slotted. Mechanically, what would the game do about un equipping skills and weapons when I change the elite out? What if I switch out on accident and now I have to reset everything?
Are you saying it’s not fair I can use new paid content unless it locks in 1/3 of my spec selection? This must be on the belief the new content puts out more damage. See guardian and ele elite specs to disprove that.
It will do the same thing it does to lower level characters that leave the Mist with off hand weapon equipped before you unlock offhand slot..

Staff is closes to fitting all roles. Just lacks conditions. Has heals, abd defense and power damage.
I do those servers because i dont like playing all classes in SPvP. But i cant do dailies all the time with the classes i enjoy playing.
Most non power specialization using 1hander has super weak damage for SPvP.
try dual wield without power build. Its impossible. Rampage is the only damage honestly.
Fix the rest of the class before nerfing the few good elements we have….

I want to create my first Ascended Gear piece. Need to pick a insignia. But problem is I want to pick healing gear to make for my revenant, but fear that would be made useless in HoT if non-DPS roles arent made useful.
Would be nice to get some kind of confirmation on if these other roles would be worth spending the resources to make healing gear vs berserker gear.
Hey do any of you all have any suggestions on Back Models?
I have a few ideas for back model and themes I would like to see.
*GreatSword back model – a model that looks like a sheathed Greatsword would be pretty cool.
*Mechanical Wings – similar size to the feathered wings, but with a mechanical style similar to Oden (from Marvel comics).
*Dual Crossed (X Shape) swords- Two Swords that cross each other and the blades glow green during the night, and red during the day or some other condition.
*Cape – similar to Black Panther’s cape (from Marvel comics)
*Word Signs Board – a word sign model with funny text on it that changes every few minutes. Could say something like “Kick me”, or “Swag Team” or something else funny.
*Spear – a nice looking Spear sheathed on back. could glow bright during certain times.
*Chain with Heads – a Chain with 3 attacked skeleton heads on it.
*Shield – a shield model similar to sheathed shield.
*Floating Ghost Head – a Floating Ghost Head model that hovers off the back of shoulder. Its eyes glow different colors over time. the Mouth makes a roar animation with scary teeth.
*Hands Held Out – A statue with Hands sticking out, that move at random times. sometimes even juggling balls. something comical. could look weird in a cool way.
why would anyone NOT want two handed battle axes?
same reason people didnt want Greatswords and1handed maces, back before the vanilla weapons were revealed publicly…

Replace Greataxe with 2handed Sword, or 1handed mace, and you get what kind of replies we got back in return over on GuildWars2guru back before any of the weapons were revealed.

1/2 sec CD would be enough, just so you don’t accidentally go out of ds when smashing the F1 button during tense situations
I approveBut a lot of times I want to go in and out of DS in less than a half second (DS, doom, DS in like 1/10 of a second is pretty common for me). This is a problem the OP is running into that he can completely fix by learning to be a better player, but you want to make the class do it for him even though it would limit functionality.

Hey anet can you make it so Death Shroud cant be insta-double clicked out of.
with the way delays work in the game, and sometimes skill lag, I sometimes get a little trigger happy with my skills, including Death Shroud. Which would make me hit a skill twice rather than once. In DS case, this makes it go on full cooldown.
a short time period between activation and deactivation would help wonderfully.

looks like Glint will be a Damage soaker tank, in the sense that they will absorb damage through healing, like pre-nerfed Heal Signet Warriors.
The Signets suggest to me, that something is changing about the Energy system when using Elite Spec.
The Elite Spec will be focused on Energy consumption in traits some how.
Also since its a Off Hand weapon, gives this more reason to believe this is melee oriented in your face kind of play style.

Skill 4 chain- move Elemental Storm to location.
(Skill 4 Storm Passives)
*Fire – Burn enemies it pass through, and removes condition from allies.
*Air – Confusion on enemies, and swiftness on allies.
*Water – Slow on Enemies, and Regeneration on Allies
*Earth – Cripple enemies, and give Retaliation to allies.
Skill 5- Activate Storm effect.
(Skill 5 Storm Actives)
*Fire – Removes enemy boons, and burns them.
*Air – Hover enemies , and relocate them.
*Water – Heal Allies in the area, and chill enemies.
*Earth – Damage enemies, and Taunt them.
Manipulation also makes sense, because they manipulate the elements.
I have been playing GW 2 since day one and I am very happy with the new specializations system and feel that it does add some build diversity, The only thing I feel that is lacking in creating build diversity is few missing elite types that have traits for the utility skills but there is no elite to go with it. I will list below the missing elites for each class .
Warrior: Shout and stance
Mesmer: Illusion and Mantra
Ranger: Traps and Signets
Thief: Signet and Trap
Elementalist: Signet and Arcane
Engineer: Gadgets
Necromancer: Wells and Signet
Guardian: Spirit Weapons and ConsecrationsThere is also a missing healing skill type for each class
Thief: Trap
Ranger: Signet
Warrior: Physical and Banner(mending is not attributed to a a skill type and could easily be a physical)
Guardian: Consecration and Spirit weapon( Shelter is not attached to a skill type and easily be a consecration)
Mesmer: Glamour and Illusion(There is ether feast which could fit for either)
Engineer: Surprising the one class that has a healing skill fit for each skill type can add another type of kit
Elementlist: Conjure
Necromancer: SpectralI think at some point there should be a elite and healing skill for each types of skills a class has so when traited for certain type of skills you feel the full benefit of traiting a certain way and not be being stuck with a heal or elite receiving no benefit from it.
Also the elite specs have their own skill type that they bring to each class so it does not resolve this issue.

Calm down. Anet likely is nerfing the warrior just for the same reason the Revenant was made super weak in the recent beta,
so that Psychologically the community would not view the unrevealed additions as OP.
Mantra of Honor need to be changed or else its useless in SPvP.
With rumors of transformation on Druid specialization, I could see Physicals skill type working for this, since Rampage is already a physical now.
But what kind of Animal Spirit would handle Healing as a Heal skill, and what about Elite?
Would need 5-6 forms would it not?
If Spirits stay immobilized then they need boost to their passives to make more threatening. Their health can be low still as a counter. But the passives make them unique from turret. But right now the passives are too weak and they have weak health and cant move. Making them useless.
What if Warhorn 4 summoned a Storm, and Warhorn skill 5, moved it around like Revenant Tablet. That could be pretty cool.
But those are not baseline core play style and may be misleading to new consumers unless they all get HoT and vanilla game now… oh wait
