I don’t know Devon is really on the ball. I would not be surprised if they were able to implement a couple of these, especially the number in queue. I don’t think they would ever add a server pop though. For some reason most companies are really weary to release those numbers.

Compared to spvp team, wvw team(both old and new) shows virtually no communication with wvw community, at least not on the important stuffs that we want to know. Have they addressed the server imbalance issue ( the crisis that is happening in T1 EU right now)? Have they updated us with technical issues like server lags? Have they informed us their plan/idea of improving the current meta of wvw (zerg v zerg) or leaderboard statistics? New Maps?ascended items purchasable with badges?

Nope. All we know that we are getting more useless wvw abilities like "Five formidable new levels in the Guard Killer ability line ", more PvDoor stuffs, yayy

some times i think they just don’t care.

wvw devs don’t care, it’s simple, even if they do they are not showing it.

A few days ago i made a post asking them if they can give us some updates about their plan for wvw in the future, such as server balance, zerg meta..etc, they did not reply.

we have plenty of devs updating community about the pve stuffs (just go to the SAB forum and see it yourself)

we have spvp devs doing monthly state of the game podcast with spvp community, i am not saying that the spvp team is perfect or something but at least they are trying.

wvw? We have nothing. Some of the wvw issues have been pointed out by players for a long time, the server lag, the boring meta of zerging, server imbalance, lack of incentives for wvw…etc

i truely hope the devs can start addressing these issues, keep us informed.

I think we can all agree that wvw needs a lots of polishing, so can the wvw devs tell us about the plans you guys have to improve wvw?or to address some of the concerns shared by many wvw players?

I know we are getting additional wvw abilities for the next update on 30th, but i guess people would love to hear more about your idea of improving wvw. For example what are you planning to solve the zerg issue? or class/server balance?

I mean, spvp devs are doing the state of the game talk almost every month, not everyone would be happy about what they are planning, or their idea about the current game state, but at least they are communicating with the spvp community.

Is it possible for wvw community to get the same level of communication for wvw?

they are winning 40k point every week because their Asian wvw population. NA prime time in T1 is extremely competitive atm.

For a NA guild, JQ is actually a good place if you are looking for some tough competitions.

For a SEA/Asian guild, SoR is the best place to go if you are looking for challenges. You will be fighting FOO from JQ, MERC+ND from BG.

JQ wins by skill,tactic and having good commanders who are loyal to JQ. We care about our ppt and we take pride in being the top class in gw2. JQ also has the highest number of mmo vets around.

Guilds split up, thats part and parcel. Its already a done deal, no point crying over spilled milk. Different people pursue different things, that is why there is such a split in the first place, members made decisions to stay and some to leave. There is no right or wrong.

In the end, everybody got what they wanted, be it staying in JQ or leaving to DB. Most impt is to have fun guys! This episode should be closed by now.

I have been on many many many times SEA and there are only queues on whichever map FOO decides to hop to. Not everyone gets in when they hop because they fill up the queue really fast.

Even then, it’s 5 minutes tops.

Stick to talking about things on your own server. You’d think you’d just transfer to JQ and get it over with you talk about us so much.

Right now i’m on dragonbrand with 79 ex emp commanders, officers, & members (more are coming once they see the truth to this slanderous lies about us) who shared the vision on what raw and i set out to do. You and Tiger cleared out the guild bank in order to start the upgrades/the foundation of the guild on DB. Also, looking at his roster right now – you do not have 80 EMP players with you. Please stop trying to make it sound like the grass is greener on your side.

Eh whats up with this negative comments about EMP leaving JQ? I think some peoples fail to realize that EMP do this because EMP want to find a new challenge and most importantly is to give a more balanced match in T1 (something that alot of folks in T1 is kittening and whining all day)
Lets be honest here, if you were in absolute dominance and winning almost every week how many of you are willing to leave your server for the sake of competitive match? not many i believe. Most impressive improvement: Kaineng. They went from a server nobody-cared-about to the top tier. You can almost make a film that depicts this tremendous journey.

Major disappointment: Blackgate (or SoSgate) has the potential of dethroning Jade Quarry but seems unable to keep the momentum going.

my interpretation of the upcoming changes

Right now we have this:
My lvl 80 ranger finished doing Jorlag on Jade Quarry and got a least one rare, although i would not able to get any chest for my lvl 80 ranger if i do Jorlag on Jade quarry again, but i can quest on Tarnished Coast with my lvl 80 guardian and do Jorlag there and get the chest again.

I repeat the same process with my other alts.

upcoming changes:

I complete Jorlag on Jade Quarry with my lvl 80 ranger and got the guarantee rares( according to Isaiah Cartwright the rare itself doesn’t seem to be account-bond, rather the opportunity to loot the rare is).

If i do the same event on Jade Quarry or on a different server with my lvl 80 guardian, i won’t be able to get the guarantee rares, although i can still get the blues, greens from , or possibly a exotic from the same event.

Honestly I havent even seen PRX doing much of anything recently. I saw their guild like once last week, and once this week, I don’t think it will be much different from how it is now when they leave or whatever. JQ doesn’t have as many people NA afternoon time as our competition, and we have the outmanned buff up on 3 of 4 maps NA night time. Which BTW, is when BG PVDoors us and gets most of it’s points while complaining about FOO and uses them as an excuse for why they lose.

Hm last week people from JQ were toting how they had the best NA primetime. Now PRX leaves and they are outmanned on 3 out of the 4 maps? I think it has a lot more to do with SoR’s NA actually playing the PPT game for once instead of looking for open field fights the whole night. JQ’s Na primetime is getting a nice reality check this week.

You know that it’s still spring break for most colleges/hs and that hurts but not only that it gets boring a lot of nights being unable to use skills due to lag from the mega zergs that roll maps. This coupled with some trolls just makes it sorta tedious see attached. He has been spamming for almost an hour that he’s a choo spy etc. Good luck though in NA prime

SoR= King of NA prime time, and they seem to do extremely well now against the JQ’s night-capping and pvdoor troops during Saturday and Sunday. I’d argue that these two days really show the true strength of a server, as coverage advantage and night capping are removed to some degrees. I really hope more asian/oceanic guilds will consider transferring to SoR, the wvw crews on this server are some of the best in T1, in terms of skills and tactics.

JQ= paper tiger, they are only good at pvdoor and night capping, if they can’t do it, they either lose very badly or they cannot gain a significant lead in terms of ppt. i think the last 24 hours kind of show this. And I seriously think PvDoor has given JQ a lot of bad habits when taking enemies objectives. This morning on EB, during JQ’s asian/oceanic prime time, JQ forgot to get rid of those defensive sieges (such as the oil pot) before porting golems to the inner gate of SMC, and SoR wiped those golems with ease. After at least 2 failed attempts of golems rush, folks from JQ just keep running around and building golems inside SMC and kept getting wiped by SoR or BG.

Another suggestion for JQ, get a better guild (maybe FOO? lol) to look after your EB, because [Ge] is a useless guild unless they can PvDoor. All they do is run around in EB and achieve nothing.

Few things to keep the discussion going, here are some of the rumors i heard when i was guesting on JQ

1)Some folks from JQ actually said that JQ does not have weekend NA prime time coverage, that’s why SoR beats them. Is this the truth? or is this the biggest joke of all time?

JQ just admit it, your current NA crews are a bunch of inexperienced bads, there’s nothing to be ashamed of, recruit better guilds and that’s all.

2) PRX is leaving the game? well, nothing of value is lost i guess if that’s true. PRX is the most over-hyped guild in GW2, with a lot of fan-boys defending them when they are clearly failing.

No it’s not fair to them, but that’s because I don’t think that should have happened in the first place.

I’m a reasonable guy, I understand wanting to keep your front page from becoming pure rage and creating a soundproof chamber for people to vent, but this is effectively censorship. This is not even censorship anymore. This is clearing up the forums so player can discuss issue that is actually happening right now rather than what “MIGHT” happen in the future, or things that aren’t even relevant atm because right now there isn’t gear progression just yet.

It’s not relative to anything, and it’s not specifically related to the new patch. It’s a question about the general motivation behind this desire for “progression.”

And this sort of topic have been made so many times before it’s not even funny. Try read some of the 8000 posts that’s inside that thread, and you will realize how many people have asked the similar question as you, and use the same argument as you, and get the same response as you.

I’ve had maybe three bad experiences with the GW2 community, other than that my server( Northern Shiverpeaks )is great.

I was there for a while. It was great until they start winning in wvw again and all the fotw server roller come in and drag the friendly environment across the mud. No one helps out there as well.
