Yep learned a few trick on crab toss by stalking the 1# on crab toss.And I got to be 1st as well.
The guardian passive aegis do pop up.Not sure about speed signet.But I see lots of thief/ranger getting good score there.

Well about 40th run here.Still no jet pack.RNG is a cruel god when someone in my group claim that got 3 rd jetpack on thier 20th run
Right now Orr event are ridiculous with OP champ mob.Which remind me how silly does the numbers of damage from Boss in GW1 do.
In GW1 those elite boss and OP but nobody complain about them because they can be neutralized by condition and Hexes.
But GW2 defiant buff take that away.People who have CC build are’nt very effective in Large scale event.Let fix that buff for Champion only but keep the same for Legendary.
Making champion Defiant buff decease more than 1 stack if players land interrupt on their big damage move might give a chance to fight back.
Also aiding vulnerable to blindness after a certain condition is met might be appropriate as well.
I guess thats why temple events are empty nowaday.
January was the good update.
Seriously you can’t make event too complicated. Most group event contain random people. And I swear in Black gate Asian primetime communication aren’t happening. Even in large group. I rarely seeing any map chat. Grenth event was a pain because there always a guy to screwup the event by aggro Grenth priest to Jones.
Where is the patch note ?
Trying gate of Arah again with 3 people group. got stomped by over 20 angry risens that didn’t despawn from last events

Those scope change my playstyle.I used to do thief condition build but when they made monthly with them I have to change to use shadow step , cloak and dagger build. Some time if there are any cover I just pelt them away with dual pistol
Those mobs pop-up from event are really nasty as well.consider that you got spammed with long time knockback every 3 second.Soloing this scope with a summon or a pet is a must.
This is off topic but seem like an oversight from Orr update as well.
Event that need to build cannon for Grenth temple have similar problems.Risen pirate smoke bomb hit pretty hard as well as the large AOE effect.Making this fight drag on very long for 3 people.
Also gate or Arah having troble with risen nobles group 1 shoting NPC unless players aggro and kite them away. And there is 1 group that do not despawn after event failed they just clutter near event destination.Some times there are over 15 of them waiting. ready to join when previous fight still in progress.
Grent and Balthazzar.These 2 temples aren’t very popular due to the failing Factor because of escort NPC arn’t good at dodging AOE. Also these event are really hard in zerg because of random people tend to shoot only boss to get the job done fast. Making player who trying to keep event from failing rarely getting any help.
For Temple of Balthazzar.Pact force going from rally point to the altar always wiped at risen noble’s mark spam.
For Grenth temple Old Jonez only die if zerg arn’t aware that fighting near Jonez is bad idea because Greanth priest will 1 shot NPC with overlapped AOE.
Also event is failing at defend stage because of a hidden suicide bomber invisible by culling doing over 10 K damage to anyone including Jonez.
Scaling NPC health equal to monster level or crate a no AOE zone in the fight could solved the frequent failing at these event

Decide to buy another 10 keys and got the ticket around 8th chest.
So total box opened are about 70 boxes
opened around 50 boxes with 35 keys.
got 0 token
Good thing that I did’nt use any real money except the keys pack I i did bought them on the last Black Friday from last year.
I really hope that there will be another. Put that booster and mysterious tonic to make high token yield box like Halloween.

I was running around wayfarer foothill for an hour.Nobody telling that Frozen maw up.
And I looked at timer site Fire Elemental seem to be affected as well.
On Blackgate most of the popular event are in bugged state thats why there are fewer people there.Only 2 temples event are working now.
Pentiant camp is bugged that the building progress is stoped with no end of risen waves
I guess it happen on other server too.
Had you updated graphic driver because of playing on my GF460 was a really bad experiences for the last 3 months till I checked out for new driver.Now with version 314.07 . Almost all those random crash are gone now. Any point that I usually crash now got about a second freeze and can continue playing now.
You can tell what PuG need to do and don’t do.But don’t expect result going your way.Kick only when Pug really suck and being jerk to the team seem to work fine for me.
I find that this is memory intensive.Since I ask some of my guildmate that can play WvWvW without a crash most of them have a lot of RAM on their PC
Maybe upgrading to 8 GB might solve the problem.
I have same issue but running Gefore460 card.But I think the main culprit are memory leak.
Basically can’t go to anywhere graphic intensive.Playing on lower setting help a bit but not eliminate the problem completely.
Rightnow Im pretty much blocked from primetime WvWvW
I find that not all the dungeon aren’t fun.Some are good enough to do multiple run.But sometime you get bad luck with PuGs.Especailly if you happen to get a narrow minded players in a group who didn’t have much experience with multiple run of the dungeon.
Fractal chest are totally random right now.Maybe a guaranteed loadstone would make them more appealing.
Tezza drop nerf get people less 5S per run.Because A-net seeing that she’s easy when got dragged from her buddy.
Dredges aren’t really troublesome after last month nerf.They are managable now.It’s just that player need to change thier tactics a bit.Cause blinding which most squishy class rely on aren’t working .
So I see this new addition to Orr this month a new skill set to all those undead.Ok its kinda make them interesting and being a threat to player.But once they spawn in group they have a very good spiking damage.
In Grenth and Balthazzar chain I saw this 2 events fail because of 5-6 of them spike the whole group of players and those NPC we need to guard.
Maybe thier AOE don’t have a limit or damage was too high
After the update I got only blue stuff from the world boss chest.Bosses I’ve done are , Shatterer , Frozen Maw , Centaur. And I even got a blue version of Ulgoth tail.While other people got at least 1 rare from the chest.
I think I got hit by a wired DR bug or something because last month I still get some greens drop from temple chest.
Tonight im going to check out temple even’t see if the loot still bad.
So I run some dungeon almost like over 50 times of them over 6 months and I still have this game bug following me.I don’t know if its my hardware or driver issue.Because i did change some graphic driver. So here goes.
-Caudecus’s Manor Story. At point where separatist camping on a tree house.Game just Freeze.No problem after relog
-Caudecus’s Manor Exp path 1. After defeating Gunpowder Morgan.No problem after relog too
-Sorrow Embrace path 1.Where players need to fight 3 golems boss.Game start to have very low frame-rate then freeze.Noticeable when the poison golem stating to lay down poisonous field.Sometime game won’t freeze if I turn my camera away from the golem.
The boss is OK except that getting knock into lava mean you are finished for the rest of the fight.Because you can’t revive on lava
Try party with other people who deliver lots of DPS.Damage threshold are shared between party.You will need less damge needed to get the drops.
I play this events for awhile.And almost every time that the event fail are usually 1 guy hanging around Jones resulting in event fail because of multiple ice drops AOE eat whole bar of his health.
It pretty bad that whole group fail because of one random person decide to turn off chat.
Warrior is the most easy class to predict the move that why in sPVP he’s not doing well in 1on1.Also warrior are wide open when done with CC and go out with everything on the skill bars.
Also warrior are very endurance dependent since there are no gap closer that are not effected by chill or cripple at the moment.
A-net said that issue of getting no credit at the end of dungeon because you got bad luck getting crash or disconnect will be fix not saying when its done though.
Its really bad that NPC who we need to protect stand in those red circle and take damge that eat over half of his HP.Also with inexperience pugs running around hugging the defend NPC bating red rings.
Im sure that in PVP warrior have a hard time hitting stuff in melee due to latency.
the 130 range melee stike are doing fine PVE. But in PVP I tend to miss a lot even if I go toe to toe hitting a backpedaling enemy.
I would say that drop the Vit from your set and get precision. With more crit you get things down a little faster plus you have acces with on Crit sigil which better than on swap or on kill for most occasion.
Yeah I notice that I lackof the movement options using longbow for sub weapon.
Maybe you could help detail the advantage for using other sub weapon

I’ve been running mace + shield warrior with traits that reflect projectile and give might on block with a combo of getting berserker stance at 5 might stack .With longbow for catching escaping enemy and fire field AOE
I use knight gear and rune of Melandru so that my melee attack still a threat and not going down easily with conditions overload
So far I can hold myself with 2 on 1 but if there are any fast melee class like thief or D/D ele , engi who spec at control I usually fall in 15 sec even with extra stability from balanced stance
Against popular classes build this is what i can see

Take some practice till you get the hang of it.So if an Elementalist charge you wait till he shift to fire element then land your daze/stun combo follow by a bolas and have a happy whack away till ele pop the can trip to escape.This could take very long if that Elementalist spec for tank.
Mugging , Basilisk venom , back stab thief.This could be a mind game.If you see a thief popping Basilisk stay away a bit so thief have to use steal to get close.when he stoned you break the stun and block his autoattack or cloak and dagger.when you got enough might from block do the stun combo.Thief usually drop blinding powder. At this point
start whacking at direction where thief might run or use Counterblow to defend against backstab.When thief fail at this point he usually run.
But if thief is good he might just dance around you applying blind on stealth from trait and you are pretty much have no defense.
Mark spamming Necro.This one you are not going to go close have to force Necro out of comfort zone.If he use minions bash them away first they are stupid and not dodging to cut necro DPS.If necro is tanker who use utility that gainlife force from getting hit.Safe your daze,stun still he pop the Shroud ,block his life balst ,stun when channeling drain move.You are pretty much owning the necro.
Ranger.If he forget his melee weapon you are pretty much win .Both counter blow and shield block reflect missile so all of ranger spam go back at him.Just look out for melee pet that will break counter blow.
Mesmer this one is tricky. Because you have to get close.So you might eat a lot of damge getting shattered.Also shield bash is pretty bad at stoping mesmer because any clone in the way you will not hit the real one.So avoid fighting clone spamming mesmer even 1 on 1.
Engineer same as ranger just besure to avoid overcharge shot never stay 1 place too long,try getting in and out of range swapping melee,range weapon.Trash net turret if Engi deploy .
Warrior,Guardain. just Basic block and counter and you going to win as for guardians save skullcrack for finishing him off.

basically you trade your fire power or survival for a chance of better drops.So outside of event framing group this MF wont be noticeable.
I like playing in WvWvW but my machine didn’t let me play that long.Almost every time Im in large battle. The game just keep crashing on me.
I also notice that some snowman building spot aren’t reset as well.

I think I got lucky this run then. No major wipe at all
I noticed that patrol has been reduce to 2 inquests per wave.Also I don’t see any bomber on the last run.
Well this make SE path 1 less frustrating.This path is sure runnable by PuGs now
A dungeon run without a wipe is much cooler
I know Flame Blast need target as well.But there are case when shooting it from a slope.The shot sometimes land on the ground before it reach explosion range.
OK here I notice about flamethrower.Autoattack is shooting where camera facing.Tried them on golems in Heart of the mist. Problem is whenever target on different elevation about one high of a character its always miss. So anyone bunny hopping can avoid the burning condition.The most obvious case is Frost a boss in Caudecus Manor who have Chill spraying attack.Any player can cheese him away standing on the railing of stair.
Also Flame Blast have the same trouble at tracking as well.When you use them outright from auto attack the projectile always goes downward and waste your shot.So the only viable way to shoot this is to switch to rifle/pistol then to apply cripple/root then switch back to shoot flame blast.The projectile tracking is bad as well which should be fixed if the explosion damage can still be dealt if it hit obstacle.
If above fault is fixed Flame Thrower could really shine.
I would say that Elixir U need some rework.
When you want to do quick res.Elixir just pop frenzy on you and boom! A shot from boss and you are down too!
Aiming to Heartseeker a low health guy .Game change target to a warrior who is doing 100 blades move.
sPVP are mostly closed space. not much room to run, less benefit from speed buff and long time stealth.Also the objective is to cap point not looking badges,easy money from soft target like checkpoint guards, dolyak,which are worthless to protector but profitable for attacker.

Stealth spamming is an issue here.Just like many class that can chain invulnerability move
Maybe Stealth need some more depth.Add another Stealth debuff that stick longer.Under this debuff moving in character sight (about half of pistol range) will cause that character to see a shadow trail of thief. This debuff will stack if thief keep revealing himself too often causing the shadow trail to be seen more easily. It just the guy who got attacked by a thief got suspicious and try to look harder.
So this will only effect in pvp situation.It would’nt nerf the PvE aspect of thief
