Thief. It has a trait that encourages you to just use auto attack (Lead Attacks). Warrior is in a close 2nd though. Also on that note, I think Anet should get rid of all Signets. They are a totally lazy way to play.
We all know how in most high end pve situations, Torment isn’t a viable condition. Currently it does about 75% of bleeding damage vs unmoving targets and 150% vs moving targets. I suggest for PvE only we reverse these figures.

I’ve said this since they introduced Phalanx Strength. Back then Warriors were already the most viable pve profession whereas Necros were bottom. Necros should have had it from the start.
I think it comes down to how it worked in beta. Back then it wouldn’t cast in the direction of your target but where the camera was facing. So to fix this they just disabled it from casting unless you were facing your foe.
I’m liking this idea though I would maybe replace one of the skills with Summon Spirits (the keystone of Spirit Spammers in Gw1). Possibly the heal skill. It could work similar to how the heal on Legendary Centaur stance works.
The whole point of Gravedigger is to spam below 50%. Anet changed the recharge to 80% reduction, during beta, and received such a backlash it forced them to change back to 100%. No one touches our Gravedigger.
I would love to dye Twilight’s blade.
Minion Master is one of my favourite playstyles because I love having a horde of creatures to outnumber and overwealm my foe. It’s why I played Vampire Counts in Warhammer and Tyranids in 40k.
Cancel that I’m just an idiot.
I would say something necro-ey but they can’t have swords
They could add an increase for the HoT maps, like they have done with fractals and dungeons.
Engi isn’t that easy to play, but when played well it is one of the top tier professions. It’s all about kit rotation.
Blood Fiend, “Rise”, Bone Minions, Bone Fiend, Flesh Golem all the way.
Are you serious? Those clone death spam builds were cancerous. And this is coming from someone that played it frequently once I found out how easy to play and effective it was. Yes it was great fun, mainly because of how troll-ey it was.
I’m hoping we get a patch soon that fixes Nevermore Collection 4. The joy of that collection has turned sour with the final item being bugged.
kitten and I thought I played a lot at ~8000 hours.
I just want to say, kudos to the designers of this collection. It’s been great fun raising the little raven chick, feeding it and making a home for it (very reminiscent of the much loved Mini black moa chick scavenger hunt of the original Guild Wars). It makes the final result that much more personal and rewarding.
Aye I totally agree. I’ve got the sword and shield on my mesmer. It looks fantastic. Best set in a while.
Because the people enjoying the game, that have few complaints, are actually playing the game.
There comes a time, Tyrians, when the jewels cease to sparkle, when the gold loses its luster, when the throne room becomes a prison, and all that is left is a father’s love for his old wvw maps.
movie? anyone?
Calm down King Osric.
The worst bit about outfits is that they only have 4 dye slots. I instantly regretted buying the Arcane outfit when I realised how kittening stupid the dye slots were.
Really?! Yay. I hated it purely for that reset alone.
I’ve hated Rangers since the beginning because you have to have an AI pet at the loss of personal dps. When Guardians were given the +3000 Health trait, I seriously expected them to give Rangers a trait that removed the pet and granted them +20% damage.
I see someone is upset that their profession isn’t #1 in every game mode anymore. Welcome to how Necros once felt with a switch up of which game modes they suck at.
We already received missile protection in the form of Corrosive Poison Cloud.
Thank you OP. This truly made me laugh. Carry on.
The Branded Devourer Ichor for HOPE IV collection event chain in the Infestation/Iron Marches is bugged.
I run it on my pvp bunker Minion Master because I love cheese.
First I’d like to thank Anet for the Timekeeper Shield. It’s the most awesome shield skin you have put out to this day, what with the great animation, looks and the ticking sound effects as you unsheathe the weapon itself. However it comes on a bit of a bitter note.
This was the shield that should have been the Chronomancer specialisation reward skin. Horologicus was a complete letdown, with it’s lack of animation or sound effects and the fact that it sits a foot away from the characters arm.
But I guess you can’t make money off it as a purely collection item rather than a Black Lion chest item. This does not anger me, only make me feel a bit disappointed.
Revenant Hammer is currently very stong as are Ranger and Guardian Longbow. I suggest he try those three out first and see what he thinks.
Most of the time people do different fractals for the first two tier dailies. Usually 2, 10, 21, 40 and the 2 dailies, only repeating the swamp if one of the others is the daily. However due to the horrid scaling of toughness in the 51+ fractals, no one wants to spend 2 hours doing 1 fractal for kitten all reward, so they do only the swamp fractals. Anet needs to fix the toughness scaling and rewards (which they will do sometime in December).
But then how will we fear an entire zerg off a cliff in Edge of the Mists?
2 Boons is fine as it is, but the vulnerability conversion seems pointless as Reapers are already the masters of inflicting it. The Instant Cast is a must though. It stays off my bar because of the Cast time.
The title says it all. Even if it is only for the token reward.
Indeed. Trans charges are like cocaine if I was a cocaine addict.
What is wrong with Precursor crafting is that it costs more to craft than it does to just buy off the TP.
An instant no purely because Necros do NOT need another detrimental utility line. We are already the primary target in pvp, we don’t want to aid in our own destruction.
No changes need to be map to the structure of Tangled Depths. It’s by far the most interesting map to explore, with so many hidden places. It just takes getting used to and those that complain aren’t giving it a chance.
However the meta event does need a rejig. The fact that CC’ing the Gerent is detrimental to the success of the event shows how badly made it is. Also it encourages DPS only setups which can cause friction between players. I’ve seen a commander tell any non zerkers to alt-f4, saying that was the harsh truth of the meta.
An excellent idea. It may take the place of my current favourite, the Batwings, if they allowed it.
Requests for additional ascneded trinkets have been made since newer stats appeared….
not only missing stats but also strange ommisions like verata’s seared ring and utility infusion amulets for nomands and sinister…
We would like ascneded trinkets for the new (HoT) stats as well.. I haven’t seen them yet tbh…
But Zealots is by far the most overdue.
Please anet could you add ascended Zealot Trinkets to the game. My druid would love you forever.
2 things that need buffing are the aoe range on staff #5 and the 3rd grandmaster trait (aoe damage on dodge).
The thing with Silverwastes is it is helping the economy, unlike dungeons. Almost all of the reward from SW is made from materials rather than pure gold. I guess they will nerf Chest farming but not the event farm itself.
Vampiric: +5% damage vs Bleeding foes. Life siphon against bleeding foes. Keep the minion life steal. If it seems a bit powerful, put an ICD on the bleed life siphon.
The dungeons are having gold reward reduced but I think SW loot is just speculation.

You can’t do that if your purpose is to raid and be at your best possible. If Dagger does more damage than Greatsword in a certain situation, you can’t use Greatsword, you are only keeping your team down. If everyone in your team was doing something off like you do, the loss of dps would just adds up, making a singular mistake into a collective dps loss.
You sound like the perfect of someone I wouldn’t want to raid with.
And you sounds like someone who won’t clear the raid if it will be any hard, since you don’t care which spec your team is running and how they should play it, but it all depends on how much challenging and demanding the content will be. Also, no need to derail my thread, tyvm.
We’ll be raiding whilst you wait for Meta battle to be updated so you can copy/paste the newest builds.
The Death of Zerker meta just means that not everyone will be able to run it for raids and fractals. My bet for Raids is that the majority of the party will be running zerker or sinister gear whilst a few will be spec’d for tanking or healing.
The Written In Stone trait equivalent would be great on a ranger. In fact I often feel I’d love to see it on almost every other signet profession besides Ele (who has underwelming signets).
