Ok, i thought lvl1 and 2 were long in world 2, then I got to lvl 3.
As much as i LOVE to jump around and do these hard puzzles with all kinds of mechanics, those lvls are too time consuming, and it just kills the joy of the whole thing.
Sad thing to say after you spent so much effort building it, but you kinda overdone it, like really really overdone it.
I can easily compare it to “are we there yet” joke, in these lvls driver would probably stab kids to death by the time you get to the end.
I was in lvl 3 w2 for about 90 minutes and I was about to finish the huge icicles with bananas when i ran out of boubles to shoot them down. “luckily”, i got dced soon after.
I’m not mad, i’m pretty sure i will do it way faster next time. But the notion that it took me 90 minutes to a point not that near the end makes me bit ill.
Oh and one more thing, use the power glove mechanic to skip certain areas of the lvl 2 area, especially the glove boss part, its pointless to fight him once you got the glove.
Cheers!

After playing for several hours, beating w1lvl1 on hardcore and beating w2lvl1 on normal mode I can safely say that there is not much difference between those two. I would have beaten w2lvl2 as well, but game was too kind and after 2 hours it dced me right before the gong part.
What I can see is that SAB turned from leisure jumping puzzle with some extra exploring and occasional head slamming moments to a head slamming puzzle with occasional nothing. Discovering secrets is not important now, because people will lose countless lives by just trying to finish it. Sure it gets easier after the first time, but I can see how someone who liked old SAB could easily walk away from this one.
Now to quit kittening, lets lay out some facts:
- World 2 maps are unnecessarily long, too many jumping abouts and huge mechanics that could be split easily into 2 separate lvls.
- Too many mobs and traps scattered around for a normal mode, its easy if you can get to the higher ground and just avoid them completely, but sometimes they just overwhelm you. Game pace is slow, and traps makes things even slower, and in combination with foes, it just doesn’t makes sense for a normal mode.
- Certain secrets are too dark ( spoiler – Huge waterfall one right before the end of z1) with too many mobs at once which makes the encounter unnecessarily difficult. Seriously, its pitch black without a single kittening light source.
- Hitboxes of foes are ridiculously small, weapons don’t have auto aim, nor ground targeting/skill shot, which renders certain skills useless. In w1 i didn’t really need anything other than a stick, now when I do, I see how flawed weapons are.
- certain jumping sections are too hard, seriously, in w2lvl1 I’ve encountered several jumps that are kittening harder than jumps in hardmode.
- some jumps makes you miss even if you landed properly for some odd reason, making you die to lava or getting washed down the river, and you clearly stand on top of a thing. Yes it is possible to jump on it, I did stand on it without a trouble, its just random.
I just can’t remember any more stuff that bothers me, so I will stop here. Even thou I enjoy challenging content and personally don’t have problem dedicating several hours of time to a single lvl. I see how some people who don’t have much free time, but do want to try out NORMAL MODE! would skip this w2 event because it is too time consuming and probably too hard.
Infantile should be like a sightseeing, Normal mode should be a casual jumping puzzle with few twists, and hard mode should be brutal, but atm, hard mode and normal mode are pretty much the same.
Cheers!

This is how warriors should look like.
Mean, bald, full of scars, full obsidian beard and huge!
I’m sure there are more people than 8 of us who manage to pull it off.
Even when I turn invisible status on, people can still whisp me and see me online.
Whats the point of it then?
It would be nice to set status On or Off before actually logging in.
No footsteps for Eternity, just saying.
I’ve beaten her with mainly rifle while kiting her in circle.
Fear me + endure pain, and shield block was main thing to get the safe crystal throw.
Most important thing by far is that you get as many crystals as you can when you are about to throw 3. one. I manage to throw 2 additional ones which made the whole 5 extra orbs down to 3 extra orbs from the start of phase 2.
Also if you get double crystal after that it is pure joy as you are pretty much 90% done.
Sadly its all rng, and you can’t always make them more than one step into the rift, so repeating it a lot is the key.
Cheers!
It would be nice if people would post screens of their achievement so we can see how many people actually got it!
1. They are not women, they are robots
2. As much as provocative it looks, its nothing compared to certain human and norn armors.
3. Everyone likes kittens, so why fight against it when you can enjoy it, even if its cold metal.
Maybe this will help you:
1. orb spawns, kill it
2. throw 2 crystals
3. orb spawns, kill it
4. throw 1 crystal
5. run in circle because AOE is alway like this : — I — I — I ( direction of aoe) you have safe triangles always at the same spot
6. Keep on running in circle and just attack her, once 4 illusions spawn there will be no more of them popping up
7. orbs will keep spawning every 4 or 5 aoe, they always spawn on same 4 spots so you know where to expect them
And thats about it. Once you get the hang of it, it will get easier.
Go for rifle and flamethrower, you have 2 hard KD/KB if he tosses meat under dogs feet. But other than speed boost, you don’t need anything because once you eat 3 pieces of meat they melt.
Just rush the dog, because you get achievement for only killing the dog, no need to kill them both.
How about Anet gives us a proper instanced, enter when ever you like, no ress needed, bug free, camera issues free, throw while moving, lag free activity instead of a title.
I’m pretty sure more than handful of people would beaten her without trouble if whole guntlet was properly designed.
Cheers!
I bashed her kittening skull open several times with Warrior, but I still think she is broken and poorly designed.
Camera, lag, luck based orb and many many other things around her just makes the encounter more frustrating than actually challenging.
She is like that belchers bluff norn kitten, but for some reason people can’t seem to understand that poor design is not a challenge, its kittening fight against windmills.
If you want to beat her, good luck, you sure need it!
1. Remove self stun while picking up items from the flow
2. Remove self stun when throwing items
3. Remove swap weapon going on CD when throwing item
4. Endure pain should block dmg from all sources, not certain ones ( not talking about conditions )
5. Endure pain trait should activate at 25% of HP no matter how much dmg you get in one hit
I would like to see Anet streaming the fight with Liadri while doing light up the darkness achievement just to see their idea behind it.
I know it is possible, but is it possible enough to be beaten whenever a skilled player wants, or possible with kittenload of luck.
To spice things up, since Anet likes limits, there should be no more than 10 tries on stream, to add a little extra pressure on the player.
Lets see who would like to see this stream, raise your hands people. =P
If they beat it, i will admit to myself that I suck and move away from it. But if they don’t, I expect they will admit that challenge is flawed.
Will they accept the challenge?
It is the most unbalanced kitten out there that utterly destroys anyone who wants to play melee. Not to mention that it negates every AOE ability which makes it even worse.
Just bullkitten!
And reward for gambits is kinda silly( edit: too LOW and not compelling enough) considering that it is not something everyone can do.
(edited by Lighthammer.3280)
Pros:
- Its “hard” and “challenging”
Cons:
- Not instanced makes it lag and delay like mad because 10000000 people are zerg farming 2 inches below your feet.
- Really bad design of arena makes camera being stuck up your kitten 99.9% of the time. Game is out for a year and they still don’t realize that there should be no activities in small rooms because of the god awful camera.
- Making players wait up to 4 times longer than they often fight inside is kittening absurd
- Kicked out dead and make players run from waypoint every single time for 2 minutes to queue up for 10 minutes is messed up. Seriously? Isn’t the broken armor and kittening entry ticket enough?
- It often bugs out with spawning 2 or more foes inside instead of one you chose.
- Fights are timed. Nothing that involves skill should be timed, its either do or die, not some artificial “hard” caused by lame timer. It renders most condition builds useless because they are time dependent.
- Gambits are often stuck in arena making it unplayable.
Now to sum it up:
If it was a player only instance without zerg under you farming, without god kitten lag and delay, and kittening camera up my kitten all the time, this “hard” activity wouldn’t be hard at all.
So far it is worst implemented activity i have taken part in, and I hope, for the sake of everyones nerves, it will never be repeated like this again.
I just don’t understand why Anet forces small tight kittened up rooms for something like this when they know camera is kittening terrible. And why suddenly change activities from instanced to the middle of the kittening lag infested area.
This whole activity just makes people mad, not because its hard, but because its poorly implemented.
Dear Anet, pls be kind and remake this into a single man, deserted island, no walls, no zergs farming under me instance where I can actually enjoy in the content without unnecessary lag, delay, bad camera and kittenload of other issues that just render this potentially good activity kittening awful.
There, let it off my chest. Feel free to discuss, like, share, subscribe, leave a comment, add to favorites and keep it civil.
Cheers!
Lag is horrible to the point where gauntlet is unplayable. Not only that my actions have a delay, but foes too. For something that “hard” I sure expected a bit more effort to make this stuff like every other activity, INSTANCED AND FOR EACH PLAYER THEIR OWN.
I know you won’t change anything, but this is just wrong. Move activities to separate instances simply because of their competitive and tight reaction nature.

Check the very last note in patch notes, second post.
So let’s get this straight, everyone who took part in whole voting shenanigans got some worthless representation buttons that can’t be used for anything, BUT everyone who just piled them up and ignored whole vote event can now sell those tickets and get money for it.
Seriously? You reward people who DID NOT took part in this vote event, while people who did are left with pile of useless crap.
I don’t care about the money, but its rather unfair towards everyone who used them and participated to not get treated equally as those who DID NOT!
Warriors are still garbage, sure, they can annoy you with a lot of stun, but they are still under par compared to any other profession.
Here is the thing, blind should work on skills that attack one or more targets directly, but should NOT work on any AOE skills that use ground targeting or point blank when cast.
It is absurd to have stomp or earthshaker miss everyone because of a single blind.
Blind is too powerful in this game as it simply negates too much, while being accessible on certain professions way too much.
There has to be a a certain way to counter blind, that is not a condition remove, and making aoe skills ignore blind effect is just the thing.
Anyone got a clue what they are used for except for few achievements?
Once you get all achievements, they are simply wasting space. Would be nice if there would be an NPC taking them from you and giving you something useful in return.
This kitten can’t be dodged? Seriously? I get killed in the middle of the kittening dodge.
FIX IT!
Aspect arena is by far worst mini game out there. You play in team, but everyone plays for himself, and killing enemy crystal carrier is almost impossible since people just ball up and rush their own orbs. Knocking enemy carrier off the cliff doesn’t count as your kill and whole concept of chaos arena is just dull.
I’ve been playing it for quite some time and I still don’t know what the goal of the game is, other than zerg rush crystals.
And what bullkitten is that skills do 2 dmg? seriously, whats the point in skills when you can’t kill enemy player before he reaches shrine simply because you can’t do 100 dmg in a minute…
Sorry Ellen but your mini game will lose you some serious votes because it kittening sucks!
While other professions get strait up buffs, warriors get bug fixes and animation fixes. You can’t be serious and think that a minor buff to healing skills will make warrior viable.
It’s all nice but I still wait to see a decent core buff that would actually make warriors up to par with others.
Well, I guess I will have to wait for next patch and hope there will be something worthwhile.
Gunnars hold server
captain gregory won’t move
happened to me twice, might be because rescue event was present, but not activated.
Event won’t go past killing 2 cheiftains.
So it’s been quite a while since Anet spoken about alternate ways of obtaining precursors, and since then nothing happened. Is it still in progress or they disbanded the whole system and just let rich people get richer and poor players spit kittenload of money for a precursor.
Any news about it?
you can use box of fun, pop it near you, set it to transform, start a brawl, transform to a pig or whatever and watch him suicide.
Trust me she still bugs out. no matter how fast you bring sparks or how high your dps is. She just refuses to go under 50% and you have to reset. Simple as that!
Condition spamming is ruining pvp. Instead of carefully thinking when and what condition/stun/stun break to use, people just go for as much as they can get and just spam the kitten out of them.
Take out 70% conditions from skills, and make them actually meaningful to the point where you have to pay attention will others remove it or not. AOE condition fields is just plain bullkitten, especially when can cause multiple conditions that are way stronger than others (blind anyone?).
Nerf blind condition, make it affect only single target skills, and make it extremely hard to access. Blind spamming thieves are kittening ridiculous, and not being able to land a (PB)AOE because of blind is kittening absurd!
I hate to bring back up gw1/gw2 comparison but in GW1 every stun, and every stunbreak, every condition and remove condition were meaningful to the point where you had to time it well, and save it for the right moment. In gw2 you just faceroll your keyboard and watch everyone die from kittenload of OP conditions.
And just on top of it, there is no way to counter block/blind/stability directly, other than signet of might, which makes certain professions extremely hard to deal with.
Cheers!
If you encounter Simin going to stealth every time you get her to 50% no matter how much you beat her, leave combat, let her regen to full and try again.
She is still bugged, why, I don’t know, it is apparently random. But if you notice her going to stealth too fast at 50% you might want to restart it.
Just a small hint to save people some time!
No one likes doing kitten in obsidian sanctum, especially when it is filled with kittens just killing everyone instead of actually doing achievements.
Why do you punish PVE players with this bullkitten? If someone wants to play wvw and fight in god kitten jumping puzzle, let them, but don’t shove it down everyones throat.
I’m pretty sure most of people would never ever enter wvw if it wasn’t for that little basket. Dragging people to wvw just for that is just kittening wrong. If you want people play wvw make it more interesting and rewarding, not by this little annoying bullkitten of achievement.
Whats the kittening point in this if npcs have no kittening cooldowns and no kittening pattern they use their skills? If its random, you could have just simply put it to talk to the kittening npc and hope that you will get achievement, instead of wasting my time. 3 kittening hours and there is not a slight patter that indicates how to kittening counter god kitten Adnul.
Yeah, kitten your luck based bullkitten and do something that actually requires brain instead.
I thought it was too easy to warrant a guaranteed exotic which sells for 60s. I did it on all 8 of my characters in a matter of 30 minutes and made 5g.
I like how you earned money on soulbound items.
S’all great and kitten, but why all the bugged out and random jumping platforms and launchers? Especially when there is a deadly drop under you?
Sorry but this is wrong and shouldn’t been in a jumping puzzle, especially when it launches you to death more than it isn’t.
Since I’m a massive warrior fan, and enjoy playing it the most, and since everyone are talking warriors are bad in pvp, which I totally agree with, I feel the need to give my opinion on what is wrong with warrior.
For start, warrior has too long cast time on most of its skills, especially mace and longbow, with absurdly long animations that makes him the clunkiest and most inert profession out there. Every other profession has much shorter animations and cast times which makes warriors extremely easy to interrupt and evade.
Utility skills on warrior are junk, for offensive profession like warrior he sure doesn’t have enough to stick to the target, and if you go defensive his utility is joke. Oh, and on top of that, his healing skills are awful with extremely long cooldowns.
Lastly, traits. Pair of traits that kept warrior alive are now in grandmaster tier, while rest of the traits are just miserable.
Now i don’t want to sound like whining, so I will try to suggest changes that I think would help warrior do its thing in PVP.
OK, Healing, he needs more reliable healing that would fill his hp more than 15% of his max hp, because whats the point of 20-35k hp pool if he heals for 2-3k with 30s cooldown.
He needs his animations and cast times tighten up and speed up so he can be up to par with other professions, when i press shield bash, he has to bakitten instantly, not spin around for 2 seconds, then do a leap, and then bash.
He needs a trait that grants him immunity to conditions. Warriors worst enemy are conditions and making him able to ignore them for a period of time would actually make him able to bring more offensive utility instead of shout+remove cond build.
Bulls charge: While charging you evade everything. Trait: bulls charge can’t be blocked. This would help warrior stick to target he locks on without having to fear to get kited to hell and back with infinite block/blind/evade most profession have.
Adrenaline Burst skills: Remove cooldown on burst skills, it is already limited with adrenaline, why put cooldown on it. Thats why it is called adrenaline burst, so warriors can actually burst someone down. This would make warriors rely more on actual adrenaline mechanic instead of using it as every other skill + reducing its dmg if adrenaline bar isn’t full.
Now lets say you don’t want to kill people but rather go more support/tank and hold points instead.
Shouts trait: shouts heal MORE, and either grant allies protection or remove one extra condition.
Fear me: Stunbreaker + transfer all conditions from yourself to nearby allies + make them flee.
Shield: stun increased to 3 seconds. While using shield stance you can finish foes.
Most of warrior traits should be merged to single one, because there is no point in having separate traits like:
shield master + reflect projectiles
slashing power + forceful greatsword
sharpened axes + axe mastery
and so on…
Warrior needs more useful traits, so far you simply can’t choose anything good because 50% of the time you have to pick certain traits in MUTLIPLE trait slots because its all too chopped up.
Anyways, those are just my ideas, feel free to share yours, discuss it, and keep it civil.
I like how massive majority of people here thinks warrior is pure rubbish. And I understand why. Warriors are pretty much countered with any profession with any build out there, and their lack of durability and useful utility just makes them profession to avoid in PVP.
They were, and still are, one trick pony with surprise burst down build that if interrupted in any way fails miserably and leaves warrior in a free kill position.
Dear people who balance professions, do something about warriors, because they are simply useless in PVP no matter what build you use.
Dive master at 37/38 after patch, was there a new dive location added or is there a bug?
Anyone played League of legends or any other moba game? Now that is tight pvp, when i press button kitten happens, and i know exactly what to expect from my actions.
Here it feels all random and sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t.
And it has nothing to with ISP because every other game works perfectly.
Tighten that kitten up.
For some reason it laggs like hell in pvp, which makes it hard to play, and even harder to play good. In wvw it is not that big of a deal, but in pvp it makes a lot of problems.
Swapping weapons takes ages, and on top of that it has an aftercast that is even more annoying. It would be nice if whole time on weapon swap would be eliminated so combos could be more fluent.
Most skills have too long animations and aftercast that simply kills the play. Warrior is best example of it where every single skill he uses takes ages to connect, and once it does he has to wait for aftercast to go away before he can even move.
Some skills and their animation break/evade other skills even if they are not evade skills simply because character doesn’t rotate and follow target at all. Thief can evade attacks, and being stunned with shield bash simply because shield bash takes to long to connect and thief just gets away with regular skill even thou he didn’t dodge or used an evade skill.
Whole thing just feels like playing on drugs, its just too slow and kitten and it doesn’t do things I press keys to do.
What’s the point of this thread when you don’t know all the facts of the release notes. Its like arguing which cake is better on their appearance but you haven’t tasted any of them.
I’d hold on for a while and wait for actual patch notes to start the discussion, because this is rather misleading and can cause some people get a wrong idea about something that is not even out yet.
Facts people, thats what we need to discuss this topic, otherwise is as good as witch hunt.
Here is one that everyone would go mad about:
Guild Hall voucher – Allows you to open guild hall for your guild once. If you already have a guild hall it allows you to change its appearance.
Guild Halls anyone?
I have a 4v5, or even a 3v5 games in tournament solo queue every 3rd match.
Here is example of 4v5 game that quickly turned into a 2v5 game because 2 people went akitten once the 5. person didn’t enter the game.
How long do we have to wait before you put automated suspension system that simply and efficiently deals with these kind of situations?
Crystals were invisible and untargetable the whole time thus preventing my guild from completing it.
1. 1 day suspension for anyone who leaves the match, ban for anyone who leaves too many games
2. Remove downed state from pvp, it makes no sense at all.
3. Buff warriors, they are useless.
