But the whole “stacking might” thing is useless/detrimental to a good party because with a might warrior or ele you would be overwriting the ~21s might with a measley 10s might stack… which is lame to say the least in dungeons.

It just annoys me. I don’t think you necessarily mean to sound like you do, but when you say we need to do more… well… I just think, maybe you should try what we all do and then see what it feels like to have someone say you aren’t doing enough. Hmm, I used to feel the same, and all the fractal skins I’ve gotten have been sort of useless to me…but at the moment fractal skins are the only real sign of skill in pve. Ofcourse RNG sort of diminishes that since someone could get the skin they want on their first FotM28 run, but all in all I like where they are now. Just play lots of fractals and you’ll get your skins soon enough

Staff is a horrible weapon for any class in PVE unless you are just tagging mobs in open world events. About the only one that it makes a semi decent weapon for is Ele but there are much better weapons like scepter/dagger or scepter/focus. PVPwise I cant speak there but from what I’ve heard there are better choices in PVP for classes that can use staff as well. So I’m not really sure why The Legend is so expensive other than it is one of the nicer looking legendaries, not too gaudy yet noticeable.

Staff ele that camps fire is actually a staple in organized speed runs (not pugs). It is the go to dps build for eles now.

The Legend is expensive because bifrost is beautiful. It’s a weapon that the stereotypical human females wearing full celestial all need to complete their look. I’ve had 2 legends drop, one I sold for 600g and one I made the bifrost with. It’s my favorite legendary, and given how expensive it is, lots of people agree.

I don’t honestly know anything about wvw, and I’d just as soon keep my necro stuck at character select rather than gearing it for dungeons, but I thought in pvp situations conditions were really powerful? Is that not true anymore?

For low levels I have a few sellers who contact me and ask if I want the run. They’ll say “can level alt”. In an hour I get about 4 of these messages. My advice is to get a rapport with legit sellers and join their runs. I can also ask my sellers to add you to their list if you like.

The reason I implied that soloers would have to give paths away for free is because… well… Where’s the benefit in just finishing it solo? No one sees it happen. No one buys it. The soloer loses all incentive to solo. And gw2 slips into the casual est of casual games because the real elite and amazing players would have no real reason to play for them, and pugs would get worse because the guides would not be out there.

Anyway say what you want about me. I’m more dedicated to this game, these people, these dungeons than you’ll ever know. It’s a problem, but I love it here. And I could do without your insults as they have zero bearing in reality. Good day kitty.

A good ele will not run staff in most dungeon runs unless range is a requirement, because compared to s/d and d/d, staff fares poorly at damage. If your choices are really only staff ele or power necro, I’d choose the power necro instead.
