And personally, I would hate it if it became a loot system like WoW and other games. I don’t want other people determining what i get and what i don’t. I trust RNG over pugs, every time.

I think for golemancers in particular, hair is likely an annoyance or possibly a danger. I don’t really think Asura have that sort of sex dichotomy, whether it be opposite or not. It’s about efficiency. If Zojja had hair and decided to be bald, it would likely have been due to something with her work and science (don’t want any hair getting stuck in Mr. Sparkles!) rather than for pure fashion.

Except they aren’t telling you they’re leaving the store. They say, “Only [time] left at this price!” with the orange sale indicator. When things were expiring in the past, it would tell you it was limited time remaining and leaving the store. It would be nice to know if they’re leaving or not.

I’ve honestly never had trouble with this fight in high level fractals. It’s a snore, but it’s fairly easy. On elementalist, if I fail one dodge or get trapped, I can use mist form and be invulnerable for long enough to get out of the red circles of death. I think the best thing is to have a well oiled machine of a team, quick to revive and slow to resurrect (if you full die during cannons, it is likely anyone trying to resurrect you will get fibbed by a red circle before you’re up). If they wait, as long as 2 people survive the cannons, you should be okay to resurrect your fallen members.

If you’re new to the game, I’d say mapping or wvw zerging is the quickest.

If you’re not new, I recommend using killstreak boosters, experience boosters, improved experience boosters, %experience food, and laureate experience boosters and killing things in less populated areas and yellow monsters. You’ll get lots of experience this way.

Back when there was that bug in the personal story, it showed Zojja as bald without her helm. I think it’s likely that she does not have a particular hairstyle because developers intended her to have her helm on.

I’m not sure it’s just a chrome thing, because it’s happening on my iPad (safari) and android smartphone (whatever default browser that is)

But you have at least 5 slots. You could always create a guardian.

Depending on the server I think it is very likely that when transfers go on sale, and the super low rank servers have free transfers, higher ranking servers may lose people to the free transfers. I think that’s happening soon, so I’d recommend waiting and seeing then.

I heard that if you get on really late (like, I don’t know, the dead of the morning) it can be “very high” or something. I’m not sure I believe it, because developers have said that the population is based on all accounts on the server and not just active accounts.

This said, I think that with the patch whenever the league transfer pricing changes TC and other high population servers will lose members, because the “free” server transfer option will be there, and I am sure some guilds and such might take that opportunity to leave for free. Unfortunately transferring at that point will be a massive 2400 gems to TC. Yick!

OP, it is possible that if you contact support you can have it reversed. I say this because I recently saw a post of someone who upgraded their back piece to level 80 when they were still sub 80, and I think they were able to get their lower quality one back. So I would submit a ticket and ask.

Just pugged SE story. The host was a necro and he had 1 other necro with him. When we got to the final boss, he started vote kicking people including the necro that was with him. He tried to vote kick 1 last guy when there was just 3 of us so I initiated a vote kick on him instead and the other guy accepted. We destroyed the instance. But i feel it was justified seeing as that troll just tried to grief 3 members out of the story mode (I think he was expecting me to go along with it). Big mistake on his part xD.

Lol isn’kitten nice feeling when you barely care if you finish the instance or not, and the best thing ever is to stop a griefer from griefing.

I honestly think that drop rates have been nerfed for higher levels. Namely, 40s and 30s to an extent. I think there was a fudge in the code with ascended weapons and armor, making fractal weapons harder.

This is my own speculation, which I have gathered from all the people I know who do fractals, that they are receiving more ascended chests than fractal weapon skins (but still rarely) whereas in the 10s fractal weapons drop more frequently.

If you submit a ticket, I bet they can help you. But no one on the forums can do anything. So just go to the support page and on the top right side click submit a request.

I enjoy taking new players into their first dungeons teaching them the ropes as long as they are level appropriate and geared to their level.

I really enjoy when you finish up the ice ele in the snowblind fractal, and the thief happily sb’s ahead giving everyone back agro. I don’t know about humans… But there is a particular female Asura in Rata Sum with a female significant other. I have a feeling most or all races are fine with anything. Mainly because I don’t think anet would want to put those politics into the game.

I was doing FotM 49 a few evenings ago and I’m not joking when I say this; the thief on my team seriously had no idea that they were capable of stealthing with anything aside from shadow refuge. When I told them to blast with us and SR themself at control panel (we had dredge as third fractal), they didn’t have a clue what I was talking about… and they spoke fluent english.

Farming cof hasnt been a thing and hasnt been possible for several months now. Fractals are not afk facerolled in zerker. While the agony system forces us to gear for fractals and the agony damage is no longer a threat, we still have to dodge attacks and use skill and CC to survive the regular attacks in dps gear.

For the record, and I think you ought to know, Spoj is one of the best pve players in this game.

2-5 of the booster you don’t want (it probably couldn’t be 1:1)
1 of the booster you do want
T1 dust
Philosopher stone

Yields, say, 2-6 boosters of the kind you want, and thus it has a bit of RNG in it but it still could, say, make use of those hundreds of pvp and crafting boosters I also have no need for.

This has been happening to many players somewhat randomly lately. It is, I believe, a bug that tech support or the people working on bugs can’t seem to fix, probably because it isn’t reproducible. So people report these bugs, but I’m not sure what might have happened.

Your personal reward level is 8 so after completing any fractal (meaning, the first set of fractals of the day) you should receive a daily reward chest. It would include relics and empyreal shards, but no chance at rings, weapons, or ascended weapons or armor. When you get to level 10 these boxes will drop rings for any fractal 10+.

Scenario:

Your PRL 8
You do a level 16 fractal, you get a 1-10 daily reward chest.

Your PRL 11
You do a level 16 fractal, you get a 11-20 daily reward chest.
You then do a level 8 fractal. You get a 1-10 daily reward chest.

So anyway, it’s a bug. Report it, and hope this awful bug doesn’t happen to you again. Just know you are not alone.

I really loved your list of various gears you got.

A guildie the other day pinged knight’s armor with superior runes of exuberance. I nearly cried.

But anyway, I have best luck when I go in with zero expectations. This is the truth, and i don’t know why it is. If I just put, fractal level x, path 1, or even, whenever I put “be fashionable” I usually get. 2 or 3 great players, and 1 or 2 … Not great players. But as long as those not great players understand directions…. It usually turns out okay.

That’s just my anecdotal experience.

Well… I mean, it’s okay. But I’ll tell you one thing, if a person leaves in the middle of a dungeon, or toward the end because of a DC or real world problems or you kick them, I think it would be tough to convince a person to come help you finish the instance if there is no real compensation.

For instance, would these be daily rewards and account bound like they are now? If so, if it’s a person’s first run of the day, and they get the automatic low reward for daily and miss out on the opportunity to get the high tier, that is not enough incentive for most people to hop in and help.

I guess I’m left wondering why you want this? Why does it matter if people sell dungeons legitimately? Why does it matter if groups skip optional events and bosses, like Kohler and say the cof bridge event? If you want to do them, great! But why turn an option into something basically mandatory?
