I think if we had Dredge illusions at that last fight it would make a lot of sense. I mean, Of course the Nightmare court and Dredge have a lot in common, and I think would be really cool if they incorporated a puzzle. Like, instead of the last boss, they had you falling, and as you fall, you have to kill flying dredge, so you not only need a ranged weapon, but you also have to avoid their burrows through the air. You also must kill Rabsovich before hitting the ground. I think this fits in the lore because someone told me it did.

After recent posts from Chris in the CDI I think I understand what Anet’s goal is. Get rid of any hardcore pve’ers. They like pvp though and wvw hardcores.

I will never ever post in another CDI. The recent comments have illustrated that the evolution of the game in Anet’s eyes does not include people who challenge themselves.

I would like to think they might miss the money I spend in the gem store (now that I will not anymore). My weekly 100$ (yep, I do spend that much because I love this game) will go toward something else. I am not happy that they have so blatantly tossed us aside.

If you finished it with a person who didn’t have story it would give infinite chests or something.

I have the quiver on my Norn ranger, yes, it is quite large, and clips with my head, but it is still cool! And I didn’t feel like making the ascended quiver. Haha.

Koki is correct! Definitely light Flamekissed. I highly recommend the helm for a human, norn or Sylvari elementalist. I love the feathered helm, and it is really stunning. Here’s an example of just the helm:

If you’re a student, you can whisper any teacher and ask. That’s generally how it’s supposed to work. Also if you’re looking to plan a run you can plan it on this thread too.

I have zero response to your last part because it is just too speculative.

Again, none of us expect compensation this late in the game. We are upset that they ever thought it was okay to do without compensation in the first place.

And how do any of us know what they will or will not do in the future? They are ignoring our questions about this now, and they will likely ignore them forever.

When we all started fractals, there was never any clue that they would reset our levels. How can you say now, that after they did it and said nothing about it, that they would not do it again?

Weren’t they gonna get rid of towns clothing? Pretty ironic if i got a shirt that they would take away later ha-ha, to me fractals was dead once they kitten blocked 50. Fractured was a massive fail.

Most of the 12k+ AP guards I played with were cleric staff guards. Doesn’t this say all?

What’s wrong with cleric stats for a guardian staff? I’m using it to buff myself and by the way heal if it’s in a combat.

Because it’s bad, because healing in this game is bad, because there is no real healing class /skills in the game. Your teammates don’t need you to heal, they need you to DPS so that the mob dies faster— they can take care of their own healing.

If I’m using staff only for buff power then it doesn’t matter if I have power healing or crit dmg.

That’s a poor use of your second weapon, to be honest…. But to each his/her own, btw.

I’m reporting any post accusing people of using exploits to reach level 80 in fractals. I strongly encourage people to ignore these accusations, because I don’t want to get mired in something that is entirely irrelevant to the topic and have my thread locked.

If you would like to discuss whether or not people above level 50 prior to the reset were guilty of using exploits, I’d like to suggest you read the ToS very carefully and then start your own thread if you think it is appropriate to do so. Do not derail the topic here.

By the way I didn’t realize until yesterday where I recognized your name from.

Advice: get to level 80 at least and then talk about what’s needed to balance the game. I’m not sure a level37 elementalist really has all of the tools needed to be super successful in dungeons (they are capable but that’s different from it being good for it). Honestly…. I don’t understand why you are assuming so much on your level 37 for a dungeon, be it a story dungeon or not.

A Short norn with a small build can look great in the armors, as good or better, I’d say. Their abs are just awesome. Here’s my large norn, but her armor is fabulous.

I am finding that I use SB more often on the thief…and I took a look at the animations today. Ranger was very…um…lackluster? One unipony shot most of the time where as the cluster bomb unipony was amazing to look at! I mean I am getting it for the silly uniponies…might as well get the one that can bounce the unipony and make it rain them.

Should I get the Dreamer on a human or an Asura? I previewed the bow on an Asura but it clips so much However I love the voice acting and animations of the Asura…gah, so hard to choose! And it gets shrunken down so much compared to a Human.

I haven’t tested it on any other race, as I tend to stick with those two…would it look good on one of the others?

I tested my dreamer on my Norn and it was really huge. I liked it but I hated the ranger animations, then placed it on my human thief through transmuting. I’m a huge fan of Asura but the bow I think is just so over the top it shouldn’t be shrunken down xD. I have my bifrost on my Asura, and it’s fine, even if it is a little small. It works fine. I think humans or Sylvari are the perfect sizes and builds for thief.

I love the skirt but when my weapon is not drawn, the skirt clips with my body, lol. But when weapon is drawn, it looks great.

I chose shortbow for thief (I’ll post a screen) because shortbow is actually used in cases on thief, whereas I have never and will never use it on my ranger. You would use shortbow to blast smokescreen for stealth in certain dungeons… (Which is what I do, I can’t say for wvw or whatever).

Anyway yeah.

Uh, like I said: it was never clarified until months after release that past level 50 wasn’t intended. The Maw agony blast wasn’t even added until they added the soft cap. You are wrong.

Fractals use to go only till level 50, you could cheat your way up with exploits you could go higher, but you weren’t spouse to or it was never intended.

When fractals got reworked and reset they did so for everyone, it was pretty much a new page, something unlike the thing before, so the old levels you might have had meant little or nothing.

What exactly would you want as compensation and why?

Okay I’ll stop you at your first sentence.

When they first came out the hard cap was at 80. There was no soft cap. A few months down the road they placed a soft cap on level 50. But there were many individuals who had fairly gotten to level 80 by then. Don’t accuse people of cheating when you don’t know a kitty about the subject.

I’m not going to bother responding to your second paragraph because we have been over it before.

Right now we aren’t asking compensation because we know it’s too late. We want recognition and a developer to say “we understand it was not the best situation. We do not intend to do it again.”

All of you guys who are being all sour… It’s really unfair. It’s quite an accomplishment to make all of these. The OP posted a while ago with I think 9 or 10 out of 11 finished. I think it’s not only a great accomplishment in terms of getting them, but great that they defied the norm and put them on their Asura. Just because they’re small, doesn’t mean they don’t look fabulous. And that is one darn good looking Asura.
