Says only available from HMB’s. I personally have never had one from a LMB or a mob, but yeah, I wont be stating that they only drop from HMB’s, for obvious reasons! :p

Just as a note, if you are in the same zone, and server ofc, as your friend and you are partied, you can help him with his story, and the same goes for him too.

People level together, people do pvp together (in tourney groups or just regular) and they wvw together as a server. When at the appropriate level, people dungeon together.

Also, some people RP together (generally on RP servers)

Sorry! It is possible (though semi unlikely) that the hood comes back in a random sale. They’ve done it before, but not really with festival skins (which I think these are, but I could be wrong). So keep your eye out!

Definitely not an exploit.

That’s actually the purpose (I think) of the splitters. It’s totally normal for the new eternity to come out unbound too, because even when you use a soulbound precursor the legendary comes out unbound.

So no worries there.

They bring back most (not all) seasonal skins. I think the hood and Dwayna’s helm will be back.

I believe you can use 1 transmutation crystal to transmute the sunrise or twilight to a white item to make it account bound, then on the character with the other, use a trans splitter to get the legendary back. Then it will be soulbound to that character, and you can make eternity that way.

I know the transmute thing works, as I’ve moved my dreamer to another char.

for me most of the time the best indicator is both weapon set, by them you know what build their running (not absolute true but much better then AP)

only classes that are rather problematic are eles (they could be running some kittenty non d/f non-conjure build like fresh air sceptre or healing staff), engies (almost invariably kitten builds though) etc

The answer that I got makes it seem like it is trully impossible for Anet to “recover or restore individual characters” and "replace any of the items that were in “Character Name” inventory".
If that is not accurate and there are possibilities of retrieving the character or the items, I would be extremely grateful is there could be a try at retrieving mine aswell. Many months of ascended mats in there, I play 4-5 hours of WvW per day and still hadn’t used any since they were introduced in the game.

I really think it depends on the item.

Mr. Sparkles is a mini that is account bound and was either received as a convention gift or through the gem shop promotion. This item can not be gotten in any other way. This item also has 0 economical value as it is account bound and only given to buy anet to certain parties. This is different from ascended materials, as ascended materials can be refarmed.

Hmm, I’m more of a farmer in PvE than a Fractal person, but I do have 151% MF. Not sure if you’d class that as decent.

That’s about where I’m at for mf. And the thing about the fractal is it is a first tier fractal, and the loot is still just as good at fractal lvl 1 which is super super easy. So you can just do it, rinse and repeat. Probably an easy and quick way to do it With other friends who want to farm. You also get 4 champ bags from completing it to just past the second hunch of harpies. It can be done in 10-15 minutes casually.

Skelks were my original target of interest, but I had limited success with those. I found that after farming Frostgorge for a while and whacking enough Arctoduses (Arctodi?), they give probably just as much T6 as skelks do. Individual results will vary though, of course.

Harpies in fractals (if you roll for it) are a decent source too. Every time I go through the 2 bunches of them I generally get at least 1-3 (I have decently high mf, though).

Like others here have said, scepter being not so great for a ranged weapon, I don’t really have a use for Immobulus, although I do like the effects. For a Necro, however, I’d much prefer Eye of Rodgort, even if it does mean having to farm up 500 T6 blood. I can stand to bear 10 Giant eyes being bought on the TP if need be.

I originally thought I could farm the bloods by killing skelks in Southsun- man I changed my mind quickly.

In the end I bought t6 crafting bags with laurels- and kept the bloods, sold the rest.
I had to start with 7g and no laurels too because I used all my laurels on dye -.-
I just put in buy orders every 10-20 or so gold- still took me a month

my Necro loves me though

Jelle, it will be pointless and I don’t know why Gaile Gray is telling you to contact the support after knowing your problem. He should know already that Anet doesn’t want or doesn’t have the power to recover or restore individual characters or items.
I had a similar issue. I absent mindly deleted a character where I was saving all my ascended materials (enough to craft full ascended, tons of them). I filled a ticket and got my answer:
“I’m really sorry about your situation and I understand how valuable these items are. However, at this time we are not able to recover or restore individual characters and we can not replace any of the items that were in “Character Name” inventory at the moment of its deletion. Please note that the design of the game provides ample warning to prevent accidental character deletion by requiring the player to type out the full name of the character a second time, and to confirm that the deletion is truly desired."

Just so you know, Gaile is an anet employee and she has in the past been right about getting things like Mr. Sparkles back after deletion (probably because it’s account bound and super exclusive). And you can see other threads where people have gotten their mini back.

It depends on where you want to play. At the moment, elementalists are hugely useful in dungeons, but not so strong in pvp (and from what I hear good in wvw or mid ranged).

Mesmers are great utility in dungeons, strong in wvw, and iirc mid to high range in pvp.

Necromancers are abysmal (well, not that bad, but very low range) in dungeons, and great in wvw and pvp because condi is really strong in pvp situations.

Someone online can send you an invite. The guild requires 0% rep but of course you can rep it (some of us do to chat). If you haven’t gotten one I can send you some in approximately 8 hours after work haha.

The blue tint suggests midnight ice, I think. But with maybe a midnight red (midnight fire comes off as a little brownish rather than red). Maybe try a midnight ice + fire/red mixed, and you might be able to tweak it.

Anyway, to those of you thinking about getting this scepter, it is very much worth it. It is my favorite weapon (I’ve made 2 of them) and perfect for my Asura. I received most of my giant eyes from buy orders, about 5 from large moldy bags, and about 50 from various guildies. So they’re out there, I think a lot of the supply might be that they’re collectible and not everyone knows that they have gotten on (because it gets deposited). Needless to say, though, they’re very very very rare.

I’d like to see the recipe get changed, though, to 100 or so (keep it rare but not so outrageous). I think the 250 is crazy based on the fact that most of the time there aren’t 250 on the market, let alone in someone’s bank

Yeah, I have received a medium TA chest piece and a heavy TA helmet. Account bound. Both rabid stats.

And yeah I haven’t seen the dream weapons drop anywhere but the dungeon chests (like after Sparki, etc)

I started farming Arah ~700 AP. By 900 I ran it a ton of times. So whenever I see low AP person join. I do gear check. If they have zerker gear, with the proper weapons and they had a meta build. Then I trust they know what they are doing. If not, das boot!

I find that I post and hope and hope for some response, and usually never get one because the same 2-3 posters are basically having a 1 on 1 conversation with our fabulous dev (even going as far to act like friends talking about outside forum contact and such) which makes it feel like nothing we say (especially if it isn’t in concordance with those specific posters) really matters.

I know that this is not Chris’s fault, and it is normal for a conversation to sort of lead in one direction if the same posters are posting every minute, but it does seem to me very cliquey, and that turns me off from posting (especially after the thread has gone on for a couple days).
