It doesn’t matter what u run, best way is to bait a thief and attack only when u know u can land ur attacks

To make it so that if enough thieves use scorpion wire a target at once, the target just gets ripped into a million limbs, that is all

After reading his thread, I remade a lvl 80 necro and got ascended dire gear just to spam my scepter auto attack on meta bosses for fun , maybe I’ll record it just for the OP

This is the reason why I actually like to play my thief. I actually feel like I can “play how I want”. I got so many different sets if gears for my thief it’s rediculous. I have around 4 different sets forjust condition, maybe 6 or 7 for power and a couple more for just doing w/e.

I was thinking about this the other day also, I remember playing a game back then that use to have a bounty system, the more people you killed the higher rewards you get for yourself , but you also increase the bounty on yourself, it’ll be cool if something like this was added, but it has to be scaled since wvw is filled with zergs, so maybe if more people tags you the bounty rewards decreases by a lot or something

thanks for the build, but why 30 in acrobatics?

Your just getting as many tags as you can so the 30 in Acro is mainly for quick pockets to spam more #3 and the extra dodges

Think about this as s/d build but instead of spamming flanking strike on 1 target your spamming your pistol for tagging a Zerg and dodging aoes

yea, but sometimes when ur in the middle of an intense fight…

The one when ur stealthed, but in your own screen your not stealthed visually

Is it me or is this happening more frequently? I’m constantly getting it so I’m getting myself revealed in fights…. Driving me crazy.

Are there some settings I can change to help improve this?

Cleansing ire is not fine, it needs to also become an aoe condition cleanse for any party members in a 1200 range also, and it needs to make a fiery lighting Ice field covered in darkness since we lack condition fields

I never watch vids on mesmers so I’m not sure what’s out there, but I’m looking for something in particular, I remember not too long ago there was a an entire Zerg of necros running minions and it was very entertaining, has here been a vid like that where it’s a Zerg of mesmers just creating clones everywhere? If not someone should make that, it’ll be interesting to watch

Hi, I’m not too familiar with rangers, I just know how fight them, but I wanted to start one and I wanted to run with sword/warhorn just because I have bolt and howler. So basically I’m here to ask for a setup for it, could be power, condition, any other weapon for swap, a build so I can get the feel for it before I start making my own

If some people on a team were on different servers, so some would be green, some red and some blue, and they entered an EoTM map, can they still join the same EotTM overflow? even though I know they cant play together but can still fight each other?

Yea when I get lazy to switch out my wvw build I just use my hammer and the best thing you can do is pretty much just have zerker gear to increase your damage other than that there’s not really anything a build can improve much on, I just , like how someone mentioned, don’t use 4 to move mobs around and earth shaker for the blast finisher

Loving zerk longbow sword/warhorn for wvw, I can blast my own firefields and leap for fireaura and you can never have too much condition cleanse nowadays with conditions builds everywhere

How bout we make it land on all terrains first? I hate it when I miss my earth shaker cause it landed on a pebble and it’s not the same level as my target

There’s also dungeon tokens you can use to get rares to salvage. I’m trying to get ectos also for my legendary and my cof and Coe tokens are of used for that so I usually end up with 20 ectos a day and a nice bit if silk to sell also

lots of might and and condition cleanse and 67% percent crit chance (I like that number knowing that 2/3 of my attacks should crit)

most of my fight ends with this same combo, pindown→combustive shot→arcing arrow for some might →swap→warhorn 5 for more might→leap for fire aura that gives might and to get in range for final thrust setup→SoM→final thrust

Me personally, I always end up going back to my warrior, I just like playing a melee class. Even back then in WoW I loved running around with my Orc warrior dual wielding 2handers

I was at the race track the other day and I brought a Toyota corolla with 3 wheels. Then this Lamborghini pulled up next to me and slowed down, turned on his hazard lights and placed some cones down to let everyone else racing know that we were stopped in the middle of the track, he offered to put on of his wheels on my car for me and we even had a snack and conversation. After that he proceeded to go no more that 30 mph so that I could stay close throughout the rest of the race. I wish every race I enter can be like this

Thanks for the reply, I’m still working on a trait setup, but the gears and weapon choices I’m still liking out of all the different combos to use, I even tried the scepter in a power build aside from everyone telling me not to just so I can get a feeling for all the weapons in different kind of setups

So I was a little drunk and I bought 14 exuberance runes for some reason and threw it on a PVT armor set for my necro. Im trying to find a build that would put it to use. Since im not too familiar with necro that much yet, I thought id ask here for some suggestions.

heres what im trying atm, going for something for DS and keeping my hp up while off of DS

I have 40% crit chance and I can get over 50% crit chance after building up my sigil stacks for 100% crit in DS while giving myself might and vuln on my targets

I remember I use to run power p/d a long time ago and it was very frowned upon, but it still remains to be one of my most favorite builds to play out of all the different professions and builds

Warriors axe 5 , whirling axe is a whirl finisher, that’s why they whirl and not blast

As long as people keep buying them from me for 30g and 40g I’ll keep selling them at that price

And it’s not that hard to get them I usually get at least one if each a day

Have you guys ever defended a blob with a blob? There actually a chance u can successfully defend it compared to a 4 vs 50. You have enough people to not hide behind the walls and gates and actually go out to attack the people using the rams or catas to allow people on your arrow carts or cannons to be able to utilize it

I invest all my gold cause I have no other use for it, but I don’t go for precursors, I throw in rare dyes and get abyss and celestial dyes

When you guys do all this number crunching to compare crit dmg and condition dmg, do you also plug in condition cleansing and dodging and other buffs that reduce any kind of damage ? Cause I’m assuming that the balance team did… assuming >.>

So if I have different runes that have the same bonus effect like scavenging runes and vampirism runes, do the 2nd bonus share a cooldown ?

BG has what I like to call the hydra syndrome. I don’t roam much anymore in JQ because everytime I fight a BG they just start multiplying everytime you kill one like when u chop off the hydras head. You start off fighting one Mesmer, then you go wtf how many clones does this Mesmer have? and then you realize its now 3 mesmers and you kitten, I can do a 1 vs 3 and then realize its now 5 mesmers 2 necros with minions everywhere, and go what the hell im already too far into this fight, lets keep going, and then you get CCed by 5 hammer warriors trapped in a bubble by some guards heartseekersed by 30 thieves, and you have the entire BG server on you except for the first person you started the fight with cause theyre just watching in the back, then they run up to you after you get steamrolled and laugh as if they just won an actual fight… but that’s just my experience from fighting all these “BG ROAMERS”

Just wanna say that leg specialist works amazingly with leap and final thrust, but I’m pretty sure you guys will still say it will miss 90% of the time…

i always wondered if people that have trouble landing a final thrust if they wait till they get in range and then use it hoping the target wont move, or they actually start casting it while going in range so that it lands, same thing go for thieves when people have trouble using CnD

One of the reasons why I choose to go valk with hidden killer over zerk for a backstab thief is because having that big crit opener makes a big difference on how the fight can go

OP is probably gonna get on me cause I’m not gonna talk above above 50% but everything about this skills says to use it below 50% even the name “FINAL” thrust not above 50% hp thrust and he mentions that 80% of the time this you don’t use this skill because it’s useless, wouldn’t it actually be 50% of the time and not 80?

Please just don’t go gs/ sw wh and just run from everything.
