I agree with a lot people people saying the only thing “dishonorable” is cheating.
Everything is just all part of wvw.
Everything that everyone does benefits their server to make them that much stronger. I saw someone mention that they won’t attack someone gathering or upleveled probably going to their karma train, and I say, why not? Why should I let them gain profit to get stronger? What if they come back and their the one with that bit of new armor or power to make a difference between losing a keep or tower for your server to lose a matchup?
Why should I let those pvers live in the jumping puzzle to donate their siege to take out my tower that I just upgraded?

Bad idea IMO , so u want me to land 18 hits to get 3 bars of adren for everything i depend on adren for when I’m going 1v2,3,4,5? I’m glad I rely on the dis tree to get adren if this happens then
try this for roaming, its what im using atm and its the best build ive made for myself.
I use pistol mainhand on one weapon slot, and dagger offhand on the other weapon slot so I don’t have to buy 2 weapon sets, but I can still use the sigil on swap that way if you didn’t know about that “trick”
at first I was kind of nervous on using only one p/d without a different weapon swap, but all the evades and healing made up for it.
youre getting leeching every weapon swap, so that’s around 9xx dmg to them and healing for yourself, I cant remember the exact number number but its close to 1k. same for withdraw, you get that small heal from withdraw ontop of that extra heal and damage from more leeching and now u just removed any immo, chill crip on yourself with 10 secs of vigor
I think the utilities speak for themselves, you should know which ones you want, but I would stick with dag storm for all those engis out there, cause they usually take themselves out once u pop it lol
So if a warrior shoots a killshot at another warrior that reflects projectiles and the warrior that shot the kill shot swaps and reflects back, does that kill shot just bounces back and forth, and if it does, if someone walks inbetween the bouncing killshot, do they get hit?

im running scavenger runes and leeching sigil also like fade. Leeching sigil is my favorite sigil to run on my warrior, so I tried to incorporate it also into my p/d thief, and scavenger runes just match it so perfectly. Running full dire gears to I gain more condition damage from the 6th bonus. im running 0/0/30/20/20 with vigorous recovery and withdraw which works perfectly with the 4th bonus on the runes since the icd is 15 sec which is the same cd as withdraw.
I don’t usually use a range weapon but I always have a rifle and longbow in my inv, and from time to one if in get lazy and just wanna stay in the back ill just equip one, and as a berserker warrior here’s what I think about it. I feel like everyone that sees a warrior with a longbow assumes its a condition warrior so they don’t really try to dodge to much or something , but once I land that immobilize and use the 3 skill their hp just drops and then my auto attack usually hits for around 900 x2
This is how I usually do it as a d/d, but I have blind on stealth and blinding powder . Instead if using bas venom to open, I save it for after the CnD and cast it in stealth so it lands on my backstab and then I use the warrior spin from the steal while they’re standing still, if they break out of it, they’re blinded and u have blinding powder for backup also, but just opening The fight that way will usually bring most warriors down below 50% already for me
Yes, but a total waste of supply to place that in the ruins. The TC in the photo is a recruit and probably doesn’t know any better. That’s especially true if you look at the scoreboard. TC is probably starved for supply at that time and shouldn’t be wasting it.
The stealth traps are much more valuable in order to combat a veil during a zerg fight.
The thief is from JQ and probably doesn’t know any better either apparently as it seems.
I know better than to waste supplies… but when your up by at least 100k in points, and the other 2 servers are pretty much not going to catch up, I don’t think it really matters anymore…
and for the 2 TCs I was fighting, since theyre points are still so close to the other server, maybe bloodlust would make a difference for them for 2nd and 3rd place, so placing that trap there to help them get it wasn’t a waste of supplies since every point would make a difference.

Yea I really had a face palm moment myself there lol , I gotta admit I did get played pretty good, I never see people use this in small fights so I forgot all about it, and I find myself using this with those annoying dp thieves lol, I feel kinda OP using it on them
For me , if I’m in a duel, I usually just stop and let the person I’m dueling take out the person in my server because they’re not built for it and I can reset the fight, bu that’s just me lol, I guess it’s kinda wrong that I let someone on my own server die, but on a t1 server, it’s hard to find other people that wants a good 1 vs 1 sometimes
i think you guys are just to use to the animation of CnD, when u start getting use to it, its actually pretty reliable imo because its so much faster, it almost feels instant , u just gotta be pretty up close to ur target that u might feel awkward >.>
in zerg imo no matter what build you tack just be careful and be aware your surrounding
i am running sometime zerk build 0,30,30,10,0 d/d+sb with 3600 attack and 2300 armor which is feets right as long as i know where my enemies are and where my group going to.
i am taking out the necros, eles, mesmer etc fast and clean and go out fast to review mu positionThis is pretty much exactly what I do in a zerg situation. Long ranged classes are particularly dangerous to your group when they’re given the freedom to cast from the backlines without any pressure. Most of these players are so focussed on dpsing the heavies in the front that they don’t really take note of the thief stabbing them from behind.
When you down an easy target like a ranger, 5 or so allies will try to resurrect him. Those are 5 less enemies targeting your warriors in the front. If they realize you’re there, they start spamming areas around you. Those are areas which would have been used on your warriors.
When in the middle of a zerg, I find cloak and dagger to be far superior to the BP+HS combo. With some good positioning you can easy take out a handful of targets one at a time in the back before you need to shadowstep or shadow refuge out to lose the heat on you.

sure u can stealth stomp people, but when u leave them there so 5 people can stop attacking your people to try and res them, u can lay down a poison with your SB and if your full zerkers that autoattack is going to hurt, and downed people will always attract people so u can expect to see some hammer warriors fly in and then all of a sudden u went from 1 stomp to multiple stomps

That was fun to watch, I’ve been running torment runes on a unicornish build myself, I just keep applying torment with shadow strike and dodging nonstop and watch the tormet tick as they try to catch you, but the part I’m disliking about it is the 6th bonus doesn’t work too well with withdraw because it activates after the roll when your out of range of the aoe torment
this is for wvw not sure if that’s what u want but heres what im running
i don’t have a ascended backpiece yet so im just shy of my target for 3k armor and 100% crit dmg, im sitting at 99% and 2986, but i reach 3k armor already with minor bloodlust which my server always seems to have at least. i have 51% crit chance, which i like because in my head im thinking its either going to crit or not, but more on the going to crit side cause of that 1 more percent. the sword/wh set is whats going to keep ur hp filled, with the leeching sigil everytime i switch to my sword/wh i LEECH 1k health, so im dmging them and healing myself. my sword still crits for around 1k-1.5k and my final thrust on under 50% hp can go from 7k to 12k depending on how squisy they are.
Sword is more about hybrid or condition damage.
GS damage-wise is superior for power builds.
my final thrust says hi to ur face with 10k damage and to 2 of ur friends also

maybe the OPM guild can recognize this necro glitching/bugging/hacking (whatever you wanna call it ) and do something about it, she was under the ground and intentionally preventing us from capping the sentry a couple times, and even attacking us, so I know it was intentional what she did, or at least intentional to stay down there and abuse it
I don’t understand why anybody would consider picking D/D over D/P, even if not planning to play “perma stealth”. With D/D you don’t have #3 skill, where D/P’s chase ability with blind is insanely useful.
i just wanna say i think its hilarious everytime i run into a typical d/p thief, the fight goes the same way
i cnd steal backstab, they stealth, i cast bas venom USE MY #3 SKILL to dodge their backstab on me , then theres a D/P thief there standing still for me to cnd and backstab them again
im not saying that d/d’s #3 skill is better, but i find it very ironic that for me d/d’s 3 skill works out very nicely for me against d/p thieves
and that’s why I run dag storm instead of bas venom now, all those engies
I know it was and I’m sure they will still be, but I’m talking about the extra increase in numbers of warriors since the skullcrack and hammer moment
I mean not because I’m crying for nerfs, I play hammer warrior myself, but I don’t rely on uf or run the 10/30/30 build
But because I’m expecting a large drop in warriors because all the people crying about the nerfs will reroll to something else (engies IMO are going to be the next “OP” class in wvw)
I feel like after this, I can be unique as a hammer warrior again, or that’s just my expectations
Eh, the current flow is that you’re likely to initiate combat with Savage Leap and cripple with that. You don’t need cripple at the start of the chain because the enemy should be crippled by the time it starts. The cripple at the end of the chain is just maintaining the initial Leap cripple to help keep your target in range.
this, and with salvage leap on such a short cooldown you shouldn’t have problems sticking to your target with the cripples and immo if your traited for it
How bout just a trai to make your burst skills crit 100% like hidden killer? I can see all the kill shots now
This is all I’m seeing in a lot of threads, omg 20% dmg nerf on 2 skills, now I have to land 1 more auto attack before the cooldown is up to make up for it, this is brrooooookeeeennnnn

how about a sigil for someone that plays a condition build that doesn’t want to use precision stats to add more conditions
something like after applying x amount of conditions you can proc x stacks of a condition for x amount of time
Was I the only one who saw in the video the 20 permastealthed thieves casting shadow refuge on the 20 shout heal warriors, healing the one warrior that wasn’t stealthed ? The OP wasn’t exaggerating, just didn’t realize what was really happening

the torment hurts alot when u get a couple of shadow strikes in with the skale venom and your bleeds will still tick for alot
if you want to go even tankier, u can throw in some undead runes and watch yourself become a healing tank with bleed ticks for around 130 or so

actually as a hammer warrior, d/p thieves are cake (or for me), you just gotta earthshaker correctly onto them, u have to aim the edge of your earthshaker on the thief so you don’t land on their black powder that way you don’t get blinded and stun them.
The op was aking about p/d, not d/p. Completely different playstyle and sources of damage. Counters war hard due to blind on stealth and insane cond damage.
Cleansing ire is fine and all but you gotta land those first with all those blinds+
you can be kited pretty easily.

Having no ranged in WvW always bothers me. How do you/anyone else contribute to a keep defense with pure melee? Hit-and-run or some other clever tactic?
Yea pretty much, I run out earthshaker the guy in the ram and go ape sheeeet and run back in then repeat, it usually creates more chaos than just shooting someone slowly from the wall
Going full berserker in WvW is worst possible idea but hey on the bright side u learn why it is worst possible idea. By learning that you will start understand how WvW works and which things are bad there. I also went full berserker about a year ago and then started to add defensive abilities little by little. Then I went full defensive and found it a bit boring. Couldn’t be killed, can’t kill.
If you go full berserker u will have bad time but meanwhile you will learn and after you learn u will be able to build yourself. Just open your mind and be creative. GW2 allows to be like that. You don’t have to be full dps or immortal tank. You can be a mix!
I’m full berserker and I’m pretty successful in wvw
Just because you have berserker stats on your gear doesn’t mean u have to go dps oriented in everything else
I’ve been working on my encounters with warriors also on my thief with s/d and the blinds help a lot from tactical strike and cloaked in shadows and a lot of warriors rely on unsuspecting foe for that crit chance so I usually try to boon steal when I see fury on them
How bout let’s make it so that if u can land all of your physical utilities in a combo u can make them fly across the map like in super smash bro

and thanks for the suggestions bear on the job, im not looking for advice on mixing gears though, I already have my gears, im someone that likes to rely more on my build utilities and weapons, that’s why I run full zerkers in wvw , that’s why im asking for build set up ,or i should say traits and utilities, so i can see how other people are doing it so I can expand my knowledge for a condition playstyle
I just picked up a entire dire stat set with sword /wh rifle and it has been pretty fun being able to pretty much immobilize nonstop applying bleeds while being pretty tanky.
Wanted to see if anyone else has given the dire stats a try and what build your running
