meh mesmer is fine lol players get owned simply because u cant find the real mesmer. sometimes its obvious because it will be the only CLONE that is moving lmao and dodging if u use an aoe. so its not as hard as it seems. just keep on ur toes dnt get frustrated keep a cool sound mind
yea like engame stuff farming cursed shores pulling sum amazing mobs and smacking them down i dnt get to see many pve videos cuz barely anyone MAKES NONE xD just pvp but yea
i cant even attempt to do this good at pvp tbh because my FPS is pretty low. the mid 30s. so the gameplay is a little slower but playable i can try and be good but i still end up getting my face kicked in at 2v1 or 3v1. 1v1 depends on the class i face.
anyone have sum? i really want to see the other side of the boat here really all i ever see are pvp vids i know most mesmer are saying(they arnt good at pve) (we suck at farming) etc etc. but i know thier are some good pve mesmers out thier help me out and post some pve vid!!!!!! plz ^^
well imo make the kitten winds move faster seriously its like worse than guardians scepter#1 auto attack come on .. and from wat ive seen the initial damage got nerfed aswell when it was already weak? watt.. anet really.(js thats what ive seen.)

thiefs also have a trait that gives +50% damage in downed state so dont forget that its not ur armor in terms of that but that one simple trait can dish out sum mean damage i play a thief myself and its funny to see people drop from it lol.
xD i love osicats vids but i myself i just cant play S/P i guess my computer is slower meh FPS is a little low about 30 to 35. so i choose GS/Staff and man the raw damage that thing dishes out is pretty amazing love shattering ppl who try to run away criticals like a beast :p

wat they mean is tag mostly all the mobs to get drops basically farming in a sense in the events and from wat ive seen and hear mesmers are apparently verry bad. but meh ima still try cuz other classes to me seem verry boring..

As for guardian i liked it. but the one thing that class is sorely lacking on are gap closers. sad how classes just run away so easily and if ur current gap closers are on cooldown ur basically kitten done..
if some 1 told u that infiltrators arrow is spammable they need to quit the game lmao ^^ if im correct it cost about 5 or 6. initiative. thats a butt load x.x ur good for atleast 2 or 3 steps if u regain some initiative back
is C&D really do that much damage ? ive never seen it do damage enough to nerf its current damage at all. and its not just backstab players now are QQing about our stealths those should be nerfed and P/D builds should be nerfed too apparently if thats the case just remove thief from the game.

+1 bro exactly honestly i rather them keep backstab the way it is cuz i have no problem dealing with it at all. i run a condition D/D and shortbow 0/0/20/20/30 and backstab thiefs prob hit around 9k damage. i have about 20k hp so. once they get that one backstab in i stealth heal up and proceed to bleed thier kitten to death simple.
The only players who have a problem with it is players who cant counter it and get killed constantly. half the players ive seen complaining about it guess wat they are. GLASS CANNON builds ofcourse ur goona get ur kitten handed too…
honestly dnt quit just cuz 1 skill gets nerfed they will always exchange that nerf and give us a boost in another skill or 2. backstab is not the end of the world yes i understand alot of players builds revolve around that one skill but tbh i see more P/D thiefs than backstab thats just in FortAspenwood but yea.

that video proves nothing. u kno wat it actually proves. that WHOLE KITTEN zerg is just bad cuz when a thief enters stealth DNT STOP ATTACKING like honestly u guys should know this by now we are not immune to damage while stealth lmao come on.

yea thats the only thing i really dont get is why only 1 good swiftness skill lol.. while other classes event thiefs have thier signet that gives 25% movement speed at all times..
People who say we’re bad at pve have no clue what they are talking about. I wouldn’t say we are the strongest and we have our weaknesses, but we are anything but bad.

Can we farm? or do we just suck at farming?.. need sum feedback plz from players who actually have experience with mesmer for pve.

yes ive officially quit my guardian for mesmer now inspired to get to 80 found a nice little condition mesmer build has alot of survivability and confusion stacks just tear people apart in pvp im having so much fun xD lvl 10 now and ranking up !!!!!
yea thanks i kno mesmers have ways of escaping xD guardians not so much all i can do is pretty much run away but then again that doesnt help cuz i cnt stealth like a mesmer can so it just follows me haha and yes i kno dodge but i cant really dodge with no endurance left :p
im honestly torn in between two characters i wanna get to 80. my guardian and my mesmer. i like guardian honestly but its really hard to keep up with ranged classes in spvp when im on cooldowns lol. and mesmer is just great all around when i pve and pvp i feel verry usefull but one question i would like to ask.
Can we farm at 80. i know alot of players with 80 mesmers and they say they do it fine with no problems just wanna confirm with the rest of the community is that true? is it easy or harder to farm at 80 for cash.
OH and just to add.. now that im approaching 50 on my guardian.. i find it hard at surviving big bosses… lol im just dieying so much idk wat im doing wrong its like they auto switch target to me and bam dead in a few hits and it wont stop till im fully dead.
uhh i had a problem with ring of warding i tried to use it i trapped 3 guys but they just up and walked out of it. idk if this is a bug or something but it happened actually 5 times. and none of them had stability on eithier so. im putting down my hammer for now lmao
imo go GS/Staff as for traits dont really kno yet i myself is still tryna figure out my little build xD u should look up Mr.Prometheus he has a verry good guide on THE MESMER its long vids but its really helpful.
i wanna really kno wats so wrong with retaliation.. the only real nerf. i was kinda mad about is when they decreased Save ur selfs shout from 10 seconds to 5 seconds in pvp.. that really kittened me so bad…. x.x its not even worth having on my bar anymore x.x
yea i think guardian is my class now no matter wat happens ill stick with it ive tried every single class and didnt feel for anyone like i did with guardian i can literally jump into 10 mobs no problem and come out alive every single time.
warriors are cake easy in pvp even when im running on my offensive build u still take them down in seconds. thiefs are not even a problem only time i actually got killed by a thief was 3v1 >.>

are u doing this cuz u got ur tail kicked by a thief on ur guardian.? cuz thier really not all that great it just depends on who ur going up against imo. all depends on the player behind the character. any character can become great.

well i have 14gold its just u kno i mite need that later on so i dnt wanna buy 2 sets xD those 35 rares went up in price a bit.. i usually spend atleast 2g on them x.x but yea i was thinking tht power and prec for gears and jewelry tough and vit :p
as for weapon sets on mine im going with GS Staff and scepter/shield just incase i have huge mobs on me shield 5 helps a bit xD
You haven’t started really playing any class only 10 levels in, so try to avoid snap judgments. Several classes only begin to shine halfway to 80. That said, if you are using at least blue gear close to your level as a Guardian, and you are playing it properly (using your blinds, using shouts and virtues properly, traiting properly, dodging intelligently, etc), you should fairly soon have no problem running into a group of half a dozen normal foes, kill them, and walk away close to unscathed. Veterans and champions are similar, but just take longer. This is a very durable class that can also do decent damage, and brings fantastic support (while doing damage) in dungeons and “end game”.
i have been playing class way above 10 tho js. my mesmer was 70 but in all honesty thats not the class i wanted to play so i deleted that aswell as my warrior who was 40 just wasnt into it made room for my ranger thief and guardian goona make a necro later on and ele i just dont have the cash to be buying extra character slots x.x
yea i was just asking a question sorry only because i have my thief and ranger and when i was lvl 10 on those i pretty much was hitting pretty kitten high but i didnt notice that i forgot to upgrade my gears at 10 lol so i finally did and yea its pretty nice. So im lvling it up now hopefully i can hit atleast 24 or 25 today
OH and i saw sum screenshots of players armors.. my god they look so good x.x way better than wats on my ranger right now xD
yea i see im killing mobs in eithier 2 or 3 hits lol 2 if it criticals its pretty fun to use staff for empower then jump into like 8 mobs and murder them all with whirling wrath xD

ok but u still fail to see the point that stealth is fine AND u can hit us with stealth on so i dnt see why u even brought it up. if u stop hitting when stealth is on us then ur dumb. keep using ur aoes. constantly. trust me sometimes we end up downed and u dnt even know we are untill we come out of stealth x.x
and wat is exactly wrong with stealth its fine? thats basically a thiefs trademark skill. its wat keep it alive. and aswell good in groups… so i dnt understand tht statement. with C&D u can stealth alot plus the stealth skills u have in ur utility slots and aswell the traits that grant initiative regen and increases the maximum amount by 3.
