T4 and T3 is clearly broken. We are required to get 50 kills to get gold medal yet only way to complete event is to avoid combat as much as possible. We are supposed to guard treasure yet only way to win is to abandon it. No one completed the event the way it was supposed to be completed with gold medal. The only way to complete is to use a loopholes, to abuse lose agro mechanics and avoid combat while going after looters only.
I would love to see video of anet devs who designed it completing it in a group of 5 and geting gold medal.

Those videos basically come down to abandoning guard who we were supposed to help to die, abandaning treasure which we were supposed to guard to the pirates, and ccing/killing carrier only. While the tactic works and gets you through, from the story/immersion POV it seems terribly wrong.
We were supposed to stand with guard fight off the waves and protect treasure.

And who cares about the gods battle, they got wiped out by dragons so they weren’t so impressive to begin with.
We on the other hand killed a dragon who defeated gods.

Repair costs should stay in WvW, but since chance of dying in WvW is way higher than chance of dying in PvE, they should be adjusted to like 50% or even 25% of what the normal repair cost is.

Still looking at 5 achi points for legendary, 10 achi points for dungeon master, 0 achi points for master crafter, insane numbers needed for doylak and other wvw achis, or thirst achi i think they just had someone with 0 knowledge of the game just throwing random numbers whenever he pleased in achi system.

Not complaining about the scroll, but I do find it a little amusing that ANet thinks someone who has achieved 5000 achievement points doesn’t play enough or have enough ALTs already… so we’ll give them a scroll so that they can roll another ALT!

I think i could stomach to see him one last time if it is to see him die. He stole personal story and nice looking sword from me i hope he dies in terrible pains. And i hope there will be achi for dancing on his grave.

I used to be excited about WvW, sadly my server was locked for months in tier with server that all the time was getting atleast twice the score we did. They had zergs going no matter which map i chosen. So after losing over and over and over again my excitement about WvW died completely. I know we have random matchups now and its supposed to be better but its to little to late for me. What would Anet have to do to get me interested again? Go back in time and fix it faster so i won’t feel about WvW as i do now.

They did nothing to dragonball exploiters aswell. I guess it’s time to change my personal policy from standing against exploits to standing with exploiters. I feel like a fool for not abusing those bugs

With click 300 this and 200 that content and no expansion i don’t expect this game to last long enough to make it worth it. Yesterday we had problems finding 2 random players for CoF, there were barely any people at entrance, we were shocked. If it’s not a sign GW2 population is seriously droping i don’t know what is. I was planning to, but the heavy armor is insanely ugly, i just can’t justify paying anything at all for it.

When i was still new to this game when i saw a champion enemy i used to be excited. I was doing everything in my power to take them down, trying to rally people and wondering why so many are not interested, it’s a champion afterall, sure is hard to kill but in every game hard to kill mobs have great loots right? Well not in this one.
As time progressed i realized that getting same loot from hard to kill mobs as from the trash mobs was not the result of my bad luck, it just how game was designed, then i understood why people were so unwilling to fight them, those mobs are not worth fighting.
From this point i started avoiding any hard fights that came my way, why would i waste my time and risk repairs for nothing?
Unfortunatelly as time progresses this game gets more and more mobs that are not worth fighting. Spiders at mellandru, spiders at grenth, illusions on lyssa including champion gorilla which is tougher than Lyssa herself, big ugly undead at eye of zhaitan who one hit kills everyone and so many more.
Why would i want to fight mobs that will give me no loot and no xp, or loot not worth the effort?
This game has so much content that is not worth doing it’s just sad. Events for 1s 80copper as reward? No thank you. Most dungeons with few silver and greens and blues as rewards? Lol just no.
Then we have Anet nerfing all possible farm spots and telling us this game is not about grind, and just as i’m about to believe them i look at requirements for legendaries, or even the latest live event with click 300 this and 300 that and while you’re at it also 200 this and i realize this game is as much about grind as any korean mmo i ever played.
Currently player who wants to make gold has only 3 possibilities in front of him. Buy it with gems, farm world bosses, or run CoF till his eyes bleed. All except first one seem like a grind to me.

There is nothing worth doing in this game other than bosses and CoF. If they limit bosses to 1 chest per day i’ll simply have to grind CoF. I’m not going to waste my time doing other events to get pathetic 1silver 80 copper as a reward, which doesn’t even cover wp cost.

I kno ay, effigies are stupid, we should go around to all of the effigies and just burn them, to show that we don’t like them. Who’s with me \o/ !!

The sad thing is even if you go and burn all effigies on all maps it still won’t be enough for the achievement. Korean style mmos ftw….

Want to see failed event? Go Grenth, mobs spawning on top of extremely weak npc(event though players block the only way in) and killing him before most players can see them thanks to culling.

Sorry but no. It would mean players who came late to events or did nothing would be getting loot. Also would make it easy to bot. Increase in amount of loot would mean the loot would be worth less. I make gold by selling ectos since i don’t feel like running CoF till my eyes bleed. It would have negative impact on my income.

nice to see how serious people take their fun. yes clearly everyone should get banned from the game permanently for ruining an optional pvp-based mini-game which has absolutely nothing to do with the rest of the game. after seeing how crazy it is in one match i felt it was kinda boring but i guess others just can’t help themselves and won’t play w/o it.

i don’t see why people don’t use some common sense and NOT play until its fixed? you have a whole month to play the kitten thing, getting all angry and worked up because its not working perfectly day one because of some kitten doesn’t fix or change anything. reporting these people if anything is making things worse by wasting the time of those people who look through those reports that are lookin for genuine cheaters and exploiters.

Why should honest players step down for cheaters and exploiters? Why should anyone be blocked from something because others cant play fair? They know its a bug they keep abusing it, therefore they are “genuine cheaters and exploiters”. Also it’s shocking how insanely full of themselves they are, even when you talk to them and ask them to stop you get “i don’t care” or something similar as a reply. I guess to much time have passed since last wave of exploiters got punished. Anet should remind community there are rules and make example of them.

Achievements should be rolled back. People can’t say they didn’t know what they were doing once they noticed they could not be killed. No excuses.

Not only achievements, all loot tied to dragonbash as it was gotten using exploit. Dragonball ban for rest of event would be nice to.

Sure they should! It’s the same as the snowflakes. If there is a bug and you use it for your own gain, that is exploiting the game. Exploiters are normally banned, so should these.

That was different because it effected the economy.

And this affects players who play the game as it should be played. We are forced out of dragonball because they need to exploit.

How about punishment for people abusing it?

Yesterday 23 rares using mystic kit gave me 11 ectos, today 24 rares using mystic kit gave me 10 ectos. Not once i got more than 1 ecto from item. Thank you anet really appreciated….

I bought it to to never have to worry about sickles again so i don’t care about animations. Although i really do care about time. It takes 3 times longer to harvest with new sickle this is unacceptable.

If mob can kill me it should give me chance to get loot, otherwise i don’t want to fight it.

Being able to kill mobs by pushing them off the cliffs, ledges etc.

Guild message in its current state is next to useless. In every MMO i played so far guild message was displayed upon login either in chat, or in popup window. It allowed guild leaders to easyly make announcements. For some reason there is no such thing in GW2.
I suggest all representing players receive guild message upon login either in chat or popup window.

It takes up to 1hour so i don’t see why. Bug or intended?

One small update per month didn’t make this story feel to alive. More like stale story.

Letting you know you hit the DR would entirely defeat its purpose. It is there to STOP people from farming efficiently. If you were told you hit DR you’d simply move to another area and continue farming optimally.

I thought it was there to stop the bots. Why would they want to stop regular players from playing the way they want?

The anti farm system in this game is just terrible. Whenever i need some craft mats instead of just farming away till i have what i need, like i would in any other MMO i keep on worrying, did i hit DR yet, did i hit DR yet, did i hit DR yet? It’s just awfull and turns farming into even worse chore than it normally is.
If you really want to keep this terrible system in place, can we atleast get some clear message when DR kicks in? Like icon or debuff or something?

Lets not learn from EA. Nothing good can come out of it….

What on earth does grouping for dungoens have to do with being social? Dungeon runners are the most antisocial people i ever met. Faster, skip, skip, faster, drama, drama, whine, whine, skip faster, faster, skip, skip, drama, kick. Yeah social as kitten :P

Why doesn’t it have a daily rare chest?
