3) Have we strategized and thought about the fight in depth or am I doing the same thing over and over, expecting different results?

5 rares wouldn’t be to much, actually quite ok. Still nowhere near what i could get doing other bosses in the time it takes to do tequila. As for the chance at something good… i’m sick of getting chances, no matter how much i beat my head against a wall i never get anything of those chances anyway. How would anet like a chance to be paid on next payday?

What could they experience in starter zones here? Mindless champ train members going ape on them because they dared to touch the champion out of turn? I doubt it would leave them longing for more.

Nothing worthwile, killed it 3 times got green blues and a rare from daily chests. Am glad i got all achis so i never have to see it again, after countless hours of waiting, fighting with overlflows, trying and failing, dying repairing etc, such reward is not acceptable. Am never touching this content again.

I agree guesting to highest populated servers need to stop. Lower pop servers should guest med pop or each other.

What on earth do i need to do to get it? I have every achi except this one. At last 2 invasions i kept extreme caution to not be anywhere near where bloated creepers apear so i don’t get caught in their explosions and still no achi. Am i supposed to go hide under some rock and wait out the invasion doing nothing while afk or something? I really would like to finish it so i never have to see tequila again :/

People that are actually on that server should take priority over guests. Guests should get kicked off server if its full, to make room for people on that server.

Why should someone on a low population server (say Devona’s Rest for example) be deprived of a chance to fight with a large group just because they have to guest? Do we need even more reasons to abandon lower population servers?

It should be first come first serve.

Because they choose their low population server. Just as people on high population server choose theirs and should have priority to play on their own servers.

Expecting 100 strangers to cooperate and work together is just stupid. Especially in overflow. An chances of ending in overflow are extremely high.

I give it two weeks before people will get all their achis and it will become dead content. I very much doubt Anet will provide proper rewards for all the effort that will be required.

I was wondering that as well, and I feel stupid for not trying it in the first place. When I got my achievement I collected all the other baubles first, but then DC’ed just before the eagle. And I had to do all that again. Not even the second time, did it cross my mind I should’ve started with the eagle though

If it’s anything like wurm it will bind you to closest checkpoint upon droping you.

Spent hours in W2Z2 hell aswell, following guide getting all those stinking baubles. Finally got to part where i had to backtrack to shortcut eagle to get last few where he drops me. Well it was far from pleasant constant deaths and running through whole map back to him. Finally once managed to fly him to the end, only to spawn on my checkpoint wth?! So was running back to him again and i got disconnected. All progress made over few hours of torture lost. Thank you Anet for making me hate your game.

In the past I’ve put in 350+ rare GS into the toilet, quit and when I came back I decided to just use exotic ones. 50G later, dawn. another 50G later, dusk, then 2 dawns after that. Ended up turning 80G into 2400 or so in a few days with crazy RNG…

It’s because you didn’t quit again before going at it again. RNG is broken or should i say DR is broken. The more you play the kittenter loots you get. Quit for few weeks and exos drop like crazy when you come back.

I just got loged out due to inactivity in sanctum sprint one time to many… Dear devs could you please tell us what on earth are we supposed to be doing after finishing the sprint? I think it’s pretty natural for me to stop moving once i crossed finish line. Am i supposed to keep jumping around like some headless chicken or something? The logout timer in sanctum is insanely short, it should not apply to people who crossed the finish line.

Even if people would be getting nothing for failure, reward for success is so poor its extremely easy to outdo with farming.

My game seems totally broken now, party request from no one which i cant accept or deny, guild went from 400 people to empty and error code 42:1000:9001:4131:101. Nice pro fix anet :P

Why cater to casuals?

I have heard claims and claims that there is a larger casual base than a hardcore base…. but is this really true?

Now I might be wrong here, but I would imagine casuals are the people more likely to move from game to game after 1 month or so then a hardcore player.

So what I see Guild Wars 2 doing is:
Most casuals move on to other games in 1 month or so no matter what you add to the game. It is just their nature.

At the same time, hardcore players are alienated and leave.

So the outcome is that you are losing on both sides. Would it not be better to keep the hardcore fan-base, so you are at least winning on 1 side?

You are missing fact that gw2 is not shrinking, actually playerbase is growing. So whatever Anet does they do it right.

And then what? You will be doing invasions all alone? Trust me huge majority won’t even look at mobs that give no loot.

Getting a pre to drop from an enemy is pretty much trying to win the lottery. Every ticket is as likely to win, no matter how many times you played before. There are people who play every day their whole lives and don’t ever win. The RNG here is no more broken. Just be happy that this particular RNG doesn’t have any sort of entry fee, unlike some other ones in the game.

Wouldn’t you get suspicious if same few people kept winning lottery over and over and over and over and over and over again?

I finished all zones, was writing them down on paper so i won’t get confused with what i need. 13/13 on paper 12/13 in achis :/

The devs themselves wanted Evon to win…and by the way the dev talked, he really wanted to work on Abadon which means he loved that project.

Don’t even expect a quarter of the love to be shown to a lousy asura failed experiment, judging by the disappointment that dev had. You all just missed out on the core-lore of the game just so u can save some money on teleports.

Sry but the fact we won’t get to see abadon just killed this whole experience for me. I hope u have fun with “1.5 silver teleports” instead of “3 silver teleports” and a fractal that most devs feel “mmeh” about making it…u guys deserve it..u won.

Nope… Only one player at a time, while the others wait. The sad thing. Everyone will be doing this, therefor. It will take you around 4 weeks to do it ONCE and since its not permanent, it will dissapear and you only got to try it once

I think you need to work a bit on your math skills.

75 people on each map
6 arenas
2 minutes MAX per round

That means the queue at the very longest would be 25 minutes. And that would be if every single one in the map was doing it and all of them failed due to the time running out. And even if that was the case it would be fully possible to do 2 tries each hour, a month consists of quite a high number of hours.

So 2 tries per hour while rest of the time i sit on my kitten bored and watch the paint dry…. Amazing content

The moment they go into DLC is the moment i drop this game. Expansions are ofcourse welcome as long as they are proper expansions like the GW1 ones, not like what SWTOR calls expansion. But am not gonna get nickel and dimed by worthless DLC.
Also for me F2P always translates into P2W so i hope this game never goes F2P just as GW1 never did.
