Well tbh people were telling over and over and over again before launch of expansion that its not worth the price, that it will have very little content, very few maps etc. Those same people were called fools for judging the expansion before it came out (even though all info was there). Is amazing how those who bought game were hoping to get more than was announced, such an amusing blind faith in anet. Personally am glad i dodged the bullet called heart of thorns. Maybe when they will discount it to 5-10$ which is about as much as its worth i will pick it up, but thats a maybe.

50$ for 3 maps, lmao sorry not gonna hapen. Want me to pay the full game price again? Gladly just double the size of the game world. For expansion that is less than 1/6 size of the game i can pay max 1/6 price of the game simple as that.

Some people buy a tag,command once and think…kitten this,never again.There are loads of people with a tag,most just don’t throw it up,or only throw it up when theyre in LA or farming PVE.

This, i saw enough commanders flamed to hell and back for smallest mistake or what some random people thought was mistake to never want to pop my tag up outside guild events. I often end up on maps in need of commander, am often tempted to pop my tag but then i remember what kind of comunity i’m playing wih and i just move on.

I used to be Logitech fanboy since my first products from them survived nearly 8 years of extensive use. Sadly seems like logitech uses crap components in their newer products. Many people have issues with mouse clicks, double clicks etc. I myself had to RMA my M570 after barely 6 months (right button click problems), also had 2 DOA laptop mouses from them last year. So i vote strongly against purchasing from them till they get their kitten together and start delivering quality again.

I think you can still request a refund, the game is not what it used to be anymore. Leveling became terrible, story updates are a joke and converting gold to gems is not a viable option anymore due to insane rates. Cut your loses and get refund.

DR on loot is a kitten mechanic that should never exist in this game. It punishes players way more than it punishes bots and i bet it’s responsible for 90% of issues with loot disparity between players. Players who play little get awesome loot while players who play alot get kitten. I had 2 long breaks in playing lately, when i came back i was geting multiple exotics or ascended weapon chests on first day of playing then back to nothing.

Learn some patience and eventually you’ll get it. It’s allready way easier than it used to be. Every week colour has chance to change and you can get some easy unlocks. Every single person with 100% world completition did it.

Why? This game is advertised as ‘’play the way you want to play’‘… not play the way other people decide they want you to play because else you can get kicked for no reason other than they didn’t like it.

You are free to play as you want to play alone. When you want group content, where party members depend on each other, least you could do is carry your weight instead of draging others down. Play as you want, so i understand you would have nothing against runing dungeons with players without armor and with lvl 1 weapons if thats how they want to play?

Don’t get me wrong i would not kick anyone based on their build, i just have a ranger alt and i know how ineficient it is. Other party members have to work harder because you do only half of a persons work, so i can see how some can be unhappy with it and want to kick you. You kind of bring it on yourself.

3000 hours, loads of dungeons done kicked only once and it was my fault. If you get kicked over and over and over there can be only one reason, you are simply a bad player.
Anet decided how things will be there will be no protection, why should one person be protected and 4 others not? Because he ran first into the portal? You can make your group, describe it as casual no skip and people who want fast runs will stay away. But i think thats not what you really want is it? You want to be the “holy cow” of the group, ineficient and untouchable while rest of people have to carry you on their backs because you cant be kicked.

Awesome change love it, should have been here from the very start. Want to play casually without skiping write it in party description i guarantee you all the “evil” skilled players will stay as far away from you as possible.

This is insane since last patch constant lags and disconnects, i have no idea what you did that you did not put in patch notes anet, but would be nice if you could undo it.

In sab 2 they added big difficulty jump with world 2 made it very long and tedious aswell as nerfed rewards. If they really didn’t expect people to be unhappy and not want to do it i just don’t know what to say. SAB1 was perfect.

I would love to have something i can see grow, get better something i can improve on, proper housing system could provide it. Would also love something i can work with guild towards, some place where guilds can hang out etc, guild halls could provide it.
As for pushing story forward it’s so poor, so extremely poorly writen that as long as they won’t change the person responsible for it which sadly won’t happen i couldn’t care less about the story.

Completing pre events gives me like 2-4 silver? Not talking about loot because thanks to anets nerfs most mobs don’t drop anything. So what can i buy for 4 silver? ahh right nothing. With reward like this i prefer to stand in place/go make some tea/watch paint dry/whatever.

Possible solution, copy pvp reward tracks to pve, let us progress tracks by participating in events, make sure you keep it fair though, don’t let neither pve or pvp be the better/faster method.

Sorry is just I was trying to force myself to play it for HoM rewards for few months even though it was as enjoyable as sticking needles in my eyes. Is very few games i hate as deeply as i hate GW1, seems like whole game was designed to be huge pain in the backside. I still shudder at a memory of playing it.

GW1 best MMO ever? LMAO i played browser games that were more entertaining. GW2 still didn’t become GW1, there won’t be another game like GW1 ever again cause very few people would want to go through nightmare of playing it. Enjoy GW1 while Anet still wastes bandwith to host it. Won’t last much longer.

To add to the topic also, I understand there are issues with the megaservers but overall the benefits are much larger.

I’ve been on Eradon terrace since the beginning, which if you didn’t know, is basically one of the most empty servers and worst fairing in wvw. We came 9th in bronze tier.

Before the megaservers I would see absolutely NOBODY in the open-world. Every event would be pointless and talking in mapchat would result in no replies. It was a dead land, lonely and boring.

I am aware there are a few issues with guilds and getting into certain boss fights but at the end of the day I would rather have a few issues that can be tweaked and fixed than walk around an empty MMO.

Some of these suggestions might work well but I think the world chat is a nice suggestion. That would make recruiting easier.

See thats my main problem here. You were on dead server and megaservers made the game playable for you. Well thats great for you. I can see how megaserver benefits you and why you might be willing to bears it’s issues.

Now look from my perspective. I was on Desolation, i had none of the issues your dead server had. I had people on maps, they were not full but enough not to feel lonely. All boss events were being done whenever i felt like visiting any. I could finish all world boss events within 3-4 hours whenever i felt like it. Guild missions were a breeze easy fun and no problems at all. We had good server community and we were first euro server to beat most boses.

Megaservers came and everything is overcrowded, quests are no fun with dozens of people doing them, gathering quests are nightmare. Last time i tried world boses i wasn’t nowhere near done after 6 hours. Temples? Forget it, always some tool will defend. Guild missions? Gave up on those to much hassle now with looking for maps, chaotically porting and looking for each other, last time i tried was 2 months ago. Guild went from big to nearly dead anyway. Community? Gone, am forced to go all buddy buddy and cooperate with total strangers and wvw enemies, seeing no familiar faces at all. Waypoints broken.

While i can clearly see how megaserver helped people from small/dead servers. I cant see anything at all positive for people like me who were on well estabilished active server. I wish there was option to not participate in it. As it is i have no choice but to actively look for a different game.

If you encounter this often:
1st – enter the instance, solo, without LFG listing
2nd – open an LFG listing and wait for other people to join
3rd – now that you are instance owner, no one will kick you or else also lose progress

Who will you group with if everyone will start doing it?

Then i want window of neutrality in dungeons, so i can just walk around and loot chests. Ohhh and make all boses hug me and give me loots when i talk to them!

Thats why we need another “official” forum that is out of Anets reach. People need to be held accountable for their actions. If they misbehave or grieve they deserve bad reputation that comes along with it. In good old times naming and shaming was standard. I miss early days of SWG where certain people would be baned from player stores and groups across whole server for being kittens. I’ll never understand this protecting the bad guys policy that companies started to use.

It’s lesser of two evils only for small servers. I never had trouble completing any events on Desolation, never felt like i play alone either. Megaservers totally destroyed my servers community, there is no sense of belonging at all, events became overcrowded and unfun, many of them cant be completed anymore (temples). While it might have been great solution to small servers, it totally guted the well estabilished big servers. I wish they just aplied it to small servers and left my server alone, or maybe made it optional.

After they released first three nodes for sale in gem store, i hoped the rest would soon follow and we would eventually end up with one of each node to harvest in our home instance. Sadly they released nothing since then, seems like something is stoping them

I love jumping its about time it started playing an important role in game. It’s just a skill like dodging or positioning, you can master it if you give it some time. You should be rewarded for mastering it and punished for failing at it.

Random is random…. pffft yeah right not in this game. My friend got over 60 precursors since he started playing, he has over 20k gold. We’ve been playing together quite alot, doing same stuff and it was always guaranteed that he’ll get better rewards than me. He believes he has lucky acount, i believe the same, as does our guild, we even crak jokes about him sucking out all the luck from the guild for himself. I know of atleast one more person with lucky acount having over 15k gold. Anet should take a look at people with thousands of gold, i bet their roll results are quite different from ours.
Unless it’s intended, few people geting good loot and bringing it into economy while others have to buy gems and convert them to gold to be able to afford anything.

Before megafail i used to kill nearly all boses daily, was taking me about 3 hours. After megafail about a week ago i found myself playing for 6 hours and still not being anywhere near the end of the list. I just loged off and didn’t log since then in looking for new game to move to atm.
I can see how people from small servers can be excited if killing world bosses was rare to them.
But for me it’s total crap. I was on deso i could go to any boss at any time i wished (as long as it was up on timer site) and get it done with no problem without need for megafail.
Megafail totally ruined it to me. Now the events are overcrowded, temples cant be done, server comunity shatered and lost.
From my point of view i cant find a single positive aspect of megafail.

Consortium sickle is especially worth it. Fastest sickle in game, doesn’t root you in spot.
