Running to reset the fight like in Mesmer #1 video (third fight) is ok. But if you run and just try to kill the clones the F2 is more then useful it makes 1k damage. Also you sometimes force your opponent to dodge.
Sometimes you interrupt your poison shot by yourself. It his planned? You press #2 and #1 after that.
I do not know what kind of build you are playing. But what do you think about :
Rune of the Guardian? You block a lot in 1on1 and maybe you should think about the set of this runes.
You nearly never use your F2 or F4, and only from time to time F1 and F3. Against the mesmer… just let him burn. All you do is try to escape and hope he will die because of his mistakes.

Some classes are overpowered for a long time and for this players is everything fine. If they are too weak they want changes as soon as possible.
We had an absolut overpowered Elementalist for months (even if you did not played it). So I think we can wait until PAX to see some new changes.
I still play HGH, so I have no problem with conditions. I remove bleeding and burning in most cases first
It feels really weird to be a primary Warrior and going “Huh? These guys aren’t that bad for me” because they only have 1 resist and then after that they are easy prey for either my Skull Crack build or my Earthshaker build.
For TPvP I’d suggest teams consider bring a Warrior because currently we are strong against both Spirit Ranger and Condi Spam Necros.
As for SoloQ I think they need to rewrite the matchmaking system so that it doesn’t put more than 2 of a class in a team unless there are really no other options.
@DevO Warrior is by far the hardest class that I’ve played because missing a Earthshaker or Skull crack means you’re instantly at a disadvantage. In fact most warrior builds have very little margin for error.
I said in another thread but ill say again…my mate (warrior) demolishes spirit Rangers with his Longbow/GS build.
So Ranger>all but 1 build. That is ok for you or what you like to say?
he won against player with better raiting. You won against player with rating 20%, he won at the very first day as all had the same rating (100%). Wait some weeks and everything will be fine.

I agree with DevO. A bunker is mostly get less glory then a roamer but is often more important. They should get all the same glory
I like the idea. Sometimes I want to test some builds or tactics with some friends and hot joins are not usefull for this

Every class has problems against thiefs. Thiefs removed HGH Engis from the Meta. Now they make the life hard for other classes.

it is ok for bunker builds because you reduce the damage you get with weakness and you can slow down people. You have a good heal ~1k and you have a light field that heals you. Addtitional it removes a condition
My main Engineer is also HGH but I also have a bunker Engi.

I have Elixir Gun, a lot of HP and I am immune to condis <25%. I have a stunbreaker and nearly perma regeneration. It helps a lot against necros.

I have also no stability but I do not go down against a necro. I have no problems to hold and cap a point against anyone in 1on1. It is not very well against many people because I only have a 2sec block. But it is ok.

Because Rocket Boots are now after 1 year a little bit useful? I mean you can jump from A to B with that. Nothing else. The damage is not OP, the toss is not OP. It does not break stun anymore.

Engis are far from useless learn to play your class. Honestly people kitten about how anets slow and steady changes suck then they do a big patch and even more people kitten. Calm down pal. That’s not my personal opinion. I am a low skilled engineer and I am fine with my class. That’s the opinion of far better player.
Engineer is difficult, which means it’s underpowered in the hands of noobs/newbs and overpowered in the hands of skilled players.

It’s hard for us engineers to be completly kicked out of the damage dealer role. HGH was overpowered and 2 patches later( and 6 nerfs ) we are not only replaced by a better class, we are so much weaker that we feel useless in this role.
But this is the way it goes. On one patch you are overpowered on the next you are useless. The nerfs and buffs for other classes punished us hard
Please discuss the engineer nerfs and take what ostricheggs said. Please also take about the randomness on engineer skills. Nowbody likes it

Everything is decent except for the ELIXIR R change. That skill is pretty bad now if it’s true. Full endurance with a 45 second cooldown… that’s it?
There’s also that little part about it resurrecting you.
That’s a separate skill that just happens to be bundled with ELIXIR R but ELIXIR R itself is no longer good if the change is true.
Also, the ressing effect is counterable in many different ways – knockback when the engineer is going to die, launch when he’s downed or simply dps him enough when he’s downed to give another one time enough to stomp. Or in the case of pets/minions, you may even be able to stomp directly.
And we shouldn’t have bad utilities just because we’ve got toolbelt skills too. They’re our profession mechanic. A sort of additional utilities, not something that must be added to our utilities to be on par of others. It would be like nerfing warriors’ weapon skills because they have a burst skill related to the weapon.
I do not understand why they pick our strongest skills and nerf them one by one. They buff only complete unused stuff. I understand that they want to make more builds playable, but I do not understand why this must happen by nerfing all used stuff to the ground.
If the leaked notes are true, then it means for me as a HGH Engineer that I lose the 2nd stun breaker in the 2nd patch. Elixir R was very important in team fights. Since I have not pushbacks my team utility is decreased.
I also do not understand this:
Rocket Boots: Now shoots you forward and doesn’t CC you. Cooldown reduced to 20 seconds. No longer a stun breaker.
So this is something like Bull’s charge?

I have the same problems. I play 8 tpvp games in a row. No problem at the first 2 games. Then big big lags at game 3. No problems for the rest of the games.
You have a 4% crit chance on the 2nd build and you use a sigil for crit? Does it make sense?
And the rune of Dolyak gives 30 hp per second. Come on 30hp? I do not like that rune.

If you go power HGH with rifle you can take speedy kits. This is good an argument for the rifle and you can save teammates from stomp / interupt heal / decap spots with the rifle #4. The bad thing is that only #4 from the rifle is a real good skill. The rest is bad.
You can do the same with the shield #4 without having to CC yourself. Or Magnet. Or BoB.
Rifle #4 cooldown : 15sec
schield cooldown : 30sec
BoB cooldown : 30sec, takes 3sec and easy do dodge
Magnet cooldown: 25 sec and it is a pull. Not useable for decapping.
Rifle #4 is fine.
1) remove randomness from Engineer skills
2) balance warrior, mesmer, thief, necro
3) more tournaments

If you do not kill guardian with conditions, than you will not kill him with rifle without 20+ stacks of might. The problem is that Aegis, blind, reflecting wall, protection and knockbacks reduce your damage. For example while the guardian push you back, he heals himself and aegis will be up again.
Bunker or hybrid Elementalists have protection up most of the time. They heal themself every 10sec and dodge the most of the time.
Without 20+stacks of might the direct damage of an engineer is bad. If you like to go for rifle and you do not like HGH. Go for FT + Rifle and with two knochbacks you can interupt the heal twice and kill them.
Same for me from EU. I play 8 tournaments in a row. I have massive lag in one tournament, and in the next one no problem. I even disconnected once.
JubeiTM your build is without vigor, isn’t it? And your sigils are also “wrong”. You should never take two sigils with the same effect. For example both on weapon swap means = 1 sigil is useless.
