i think this is something that all classes would like to see more of tbh. To many armours have skirts attached, would be nice if u had the option to toggle of the skirt part at least. This is especially true for charr who just look like they have enormous arses

Its a clipping thing. Easier to remove the hair model completely when wearing a helmet than to have to go in and individually edit each hairstyle in combination with each helmet in order to display the hair along with the helm.

While it would certainly be nice to have helmets and hair combined, the amount of work it would take (considering the dozens of hairstyles and helmets in the game, almost all of which can combine with one another) means it probably won’t happen.

Thing is with such a feature they would be making their current customers VERY happy, and attract many others. From gamers who like just love housing (there are alot just look at the ammoutn that joined Rift because of it introduction) to those that see building tools are a game in itself.

I like the idea, but I do know that with it there would also be alot of people QQing that Anet “hates” their class, hence why a certain armour aint as cool as the others.

They could take it even further with such as an elementalist who when he changes his attunement his armour takes on a different skin. But Id say with something that awesome it would be legendary.

Ive a warrior and gotta say with full exo (hell even rares and greens aint so bad) I kill a mob with one hundred blades. If ya go full glass cannon Warrior REALLY tears things to pieces. I solo events with mine (not champions) so while they can do alot of damage they aint as squishy as ya would think.

I agree with the OP totally. I like anyone else love new content. But Im not a fan of it being bug riddled then left to rot while they work of the next set. You make one thing, make sure it works, then move onto the next.

couldnt agree more. Needing so many of an item that hardly even drops is just dumb. Yes they want some items to be harder to have so will look cooler when ya see someone with them, but Im starting to get the feeling that they are just plain killing farming to force people to purchase gems for the gold to just buy stuff.

I dont mind gear treadmills but when they basically make it so you HAVE to have resist gear then make it a nightmare to sort, thats when the system falls on its backside.

Id like a nice clean system to. Not one that requires hours of research on what to mess about with in the mystic forge. Overly complicated systems for the sake of being complicated is kinda pointless.

People are out and about but fotm has effected some areas baddly (orr but people were tired of the bugfest there anyways) but the rest seem fine. Lower than before but thats to be expected since alot of people have finished the levelling process and are lvl 80’s doing fotm. I agree its kinda stupid to scale people up in FOTM but I guess it gives everyone a shot at it.

well I really like the fotm atm. Im doing em cos they are fun, but im only lvl 9 on them. Once the grind starts for acended gear Ill stop that. So someone like me while there currently wont stay there for much longer.

I really wish I could hang out in Divinitys Reach or the Black Citadel though since I LOVE those 2 places.

I like to play toons that look cool. Probably why I always lean towards plated characters.

thing is ya not gonna get a perfect setup, voice coms etc in a pug to pull this off. if you want to do it the “hardcore” way. Take your own pre-made in and dont just expect PUGs to roll how you want then spit ya dummy when they wont.

Fotm kinda put the final nail in other cities population

they dont need to create more classes of pets etc. They could copy paste current pets abilites to em. its more about variation on their looks. Like use collecting armour sets just to look different

I agree with the fractals thing but not the clowns asking for gear scores. Ive seen people in greens outperform those in exo’s many times. But since they were friends and guildies it wasnt such a big deal. But basing everything on gear proves to me how bad some people are that they have to rely on gear alone.

i HOPE they learn from their mistakes and realise that having events that force everyone into one place are just laggy messes. Space em out throughout the world. Have all major cities assualted. Players can then at least choice what they want to defend

for normal dungeons I didnt think it was needed. But now with fotm it sure does. Finding people to run them is a pain now, and even worse is getting people for your level of fotm.

The playerbase is divided a little to much atm, and anything that can help bring these small sub groups together cant be a bad thing. People in general when playing a game want to play it, not spend hours trying to get to the point where they can do something.

I was discussing with a guildie about rangers and said its one class that really dont appeal. And while it is a shallow reason its a reason non the less. My issue with them is that they all run around with genric run of the mill pets. They all look alike. its boring.

Now in wow there were rare pets hunters would track down and kill so they would have a pet they liked the look of by their side. I think GW2 could definatly use such a system for their rangers. They would have the same stats as any other pet, but they look different and maybe have a few different animations.

War beasts and rock dogs look insanely cool yet nother can be pets. Thats mental.

So anyways thats my suggestion. Give more rare vanity pets for rangers

In terms of CoF path 2 though, yes dying over and over is the best way to go about that spot. More and more enemies spawn and if the team wipes then the npc dies and you have to start over. The repair bill on going separately and dying is like a tax on doing path 2. You’re just either going to have to live with it or not do CoF path 2 anymore.

Or option 3: Convince the community that you can fight that spot like the Devs intended….

The devs intend you to defeat it. How you do so is down to you and your group. So dont get on ya high horse and act like people are somehow corrupting the fight. Your job is to protect him by any means nessesary. The kiting is why the initial timer increased, so tell us now its in conflict with what Anet intended.

Yes it is how everyone does it. Cos its the only way to do it. Acting a like a kitten taking your armour off nurfs the group who will then have to die more times to cover up for your lack of survivability. So all ya tried to do was transfer your repair costs onto others. id have kicked you, blocked and made sure my mates avoided you.

Well to put it bluntly. If they screw the game up with stupid payment models everyone will quit and they wont make anything. So I doubt these people who know buisness would make such a stupid move.

With how the games been sold to the masses they need to tread careful cos if they try to go pay 2 win they will have servers devoid of players and a ton less money than what they whould have if managed smart.

While I absolutely love this idea, I doubt it will happen for one simple reason – ANet stands to make more money from bank slot and bag slot expansions than it does from selling more transmutation stones. As long as people are using bank space for weapon and armor skins, ANet’s winning.

But since you can have unlimited toons in theory but your bank space cant ever go past a certain point people will be left having to make choices to save or destroy items. When that happens people will not be happy. better a good system now before it goes belly up.

i think the OP is basically trying to get the community to address their issues with Anet and the game in a mature way is all. Stamping your feet and screaming is going to just make Anet look at you like a spolit child unworthy of even a response. State your issues politely and they be much more receptive.

Its funny how so many were supposed to be quitting the game yet the servers are still busy as hell. How many times have we heard wow is dead yet still got 10 million subs?
