We are increasing the number of times we do guild missions to allow everyone in the guild to get credit for Guild Bounty/Rush/Challenges. We have the following times for guild missions now.

Thursday at 5:00pm server time

I mean if SoS really wanted to make the start interesting and uphill for their Oceanics. They could just take the night off and let their tick go to 0 until their Oceanic primetime hits and the majority of SBI and CD are sleeping. Are you a new player trying GW2 this weekend. Come to Sea of Sorrows. If you have a character already started on another server all you have to do is delete it. Then you can pick any server to start over. Choose ‘Sea of Sorrows’.

Yeah I was exaggerating a bit but the point is still the same. Last night or a couple of nights before CD had whole EB.

Once a while they push on our weak spots. It’s expected. If you go to any lower tier you will notice same things. Only place you won’t find stuff like this is T1-2 because they have constant people playing but it’s alot more zergy.

Make sure you tell them to completely ignore him. If everyone ignores him and does not respond, he will eventually get bored and go away.

I’ve already got him on ignore, but unfortunately a lot of our pugs who just run around behind any tag follow him and it’s caused a lot of unnecessary loss of life and players.

Also, I don’t remember offhand what his guild is, but the other night he was running by SoS’ keep in EB and had a bunch of SoS guys with him running around with him and not attacking him, also in the same guild. I’m not going to call him a spy, because no one probably listens to him anyway, but it would be awesome if we could coordinate with some SoS people to get him killed when/if we see him out and about. Thanks.

If you make the game about that it just feeds him. Ignore him completely & ask every1 in the map to ignore him especially after he wipes your militia on purpose. Right click his name and report to get his account name. Use your forums to get everyone to block him in game using the account name. have fun!

Who we are.
The Emerald Fang is a family style guild that was created for Guild Wars 2, but also includes any other games that the members like to play. We understand that everyone has their own kind of style and their own goals in mind and we want to create a community that supports everyone whether you like WvW, sPvP, PvE or just hanging with some like minded people.

How we are organized.

We are an International based guild with members from US/AUS/NZ/BRA etc therefore we organize the guild with officers located in both US/EU/AUS time-zones. This allows us to have members on during most times of the day. Communication is important so we use the tools available to us (Forums, Shoutbox, Teamspeak) to effectively coordinate. We provide structure and events but we are casual. So members can attend any organized event when they want or they can use guild chat to get something started impromptu.

Who we want.

We want people who are friendly and like getting on and helping each other out. People who enjoy using forums and TS3 to communicate. We do ask that you be at least 18, but there can be exceptions.

What we require.
We require our members to REP us all the time
We require our members to be helpful/active in Guild and TS3.
We require our members to participate in WvW events on the weekend and guild missions events.

We do our best to have the events as scheduled but we are casual so have some flexibility.

Guild Missions update
We do T3 Bounty/Trek/Rush/Challenge weekly with two other slots on the calender where we do T1 for those that can’t make the T3 time. We are currently waiting on merits for Guild Puzzle which should finish in 9 days. We plan on doing the guild missions atleast twice a week when we need break from WvW.

TLDR:

• WvW focused with Organized events
• Structure & Events planned but with a casual environment
• TS3 Server /w 512 slots
• Dungeons’ & Orr temple runs done when able
• International guild with Members from EST/CST/PST US + AUS+NZ+BRA+Japan+China etc so someone always on.
• Guild Missions are a priority as well as WvW.

Your server boasts your ‘Bannok train’ but when you encounter any resistance from us where we siege up and defend you want ‘open field’ instead. All you guys want is PvDoor on EB just like our militia most of the time. Adapt or continue to win against militia only.

Um ya. so you outnumber us by atleast 15-20. As far as fighting you open field we barely have 10 people on TS3 and most people from the same guild are like 5 vs your superior numbers, ty but we will pass this time. TY for all the badges at Langor and SM though. It’s not in our interest to fight you when you want but when we want; especially when you outnumber us.

Rest of thread:
So much whining going on about SoS’s oceanics resetting everything. We could whine the same about CD/SBI’s NA & SEA coverage resetting our T3 stuff and us being outmanned 12-16 hrs of 24 hr matchup but instead we do the best we can with numbers we have. If you want to fight in coverage transfer to DB or any T1 server and don’t have to worry about it, other then those 4 servers any other tier will have same issues. Game has been out for 8-9 months stop bringing back coverage issues which have been discussed to death.

AC needs a nerf but isn’t getting one atleast against players. I suggest invest points in ac mastery & siege bunker. Buffed ACs are here to stay and will be used more and more. Spent couple hours on EB SBI KEEP today with lots of ac. Had lots of fun trying to keep you guys bottled up. See you in game.

Still looking for 1-2 NA guilds to balance the numbers during NA timezone in T4 & possible return to T3 somewhere down the road. We have a community TS3 which can be used by any transferred guilds. This pretty much nullifies the value of the JP to virtually everyone. It’s not worth it for anyone to do it anymore because once you get to the end, your alts can’t get ported up for the chest. This sucks a lot for me considering how fast I go through siege; these chests and portals were pretty much the #1 reason I wasn’t dirt poor, but now that I don’t have that, well…

Devon, let’s just say that you guys need to prioritize improving rewards in WvW.

And controlling the EB ports was fun in itself. It as a different objective to cap outside of zerging with siege.

grats? NA Tier 1-2 will not be affected because you have enough people on the map for this. Tier 4 here with barely 30 people max on the map and enemy has 50 or so in NA primetime. If attacks don’t show up on keep for 30 secs. 3-4 superior rams and door is down and they on inner. forget golem rush that’s even easier. Also how fun is it to watch the gate for 8 hours?

honestly they could have removed the 5-10 badges you get from chest and kept it character bound. Those of us that like to do WvW only and do PvE just because we are about to be broke appreciated the fact that we could set up EB jumping puzzle ports to get some siege refilled. Now we can’t even do that. I have to spend 1 hr to farm CoF buy siege instead because WvW itself doesn’t net gold if you upgrading/dropping siege/ buying gear with badges etc.

But now you can get rare Fire,Norn etc skins though!!!!! Skins that you can buy off tp for less then 5-10 silver are costing 100 or so badges. Clearly anet has their priorites correct in getting new gear in WvW.

More money drained into WvW now. Can you increase money rewards for events in WvW? If we using the badges to buy the gear etc and upgrade keeps and drop siege down most of time we lose money while WvWing. please increase rewards so that those of us doing the things we supposed to in WvW net some gold.

I feel like Crystal Desert is bleeding more guilds, or at least that’s what the map chat rumors seem to imply. I’m personally pretty sick of this match up. I hoping that either SoS moves up a tier or that we move down a tier, since those seem like the two most hopeful scenarios.

Honestly SoS needs few more NA guilds before we can move out. We usually have a VERY small crew that overplays during the week.

As the title says, two of us are looking for a guild. Server does not matter, but we are on Yak’s Bend.

Some “requirements,” or things we are looking for:
-Must have at least one type of guild mission unlocked.
-Must not require either of us to get on voice communication for an “interview.”
*You can interview by PMing me if necessary.

Being social should not be a requirement to join your guild because neither of us are social. Meaning we don’t typically speak (not to say that we don’t speak at all, we do), but we do participate in events, dungeons, WvW etc,.

Dungeons are probably our main thing. We are both DMs, and don’t mind helping new groups out. We are a bit of elitists, but we never kick anyone who is bad(or new), and we don’t rage-quit on groups.

Hopefully we don’t sound too arrogant, if there is anything else you wish to know then feel free to PM me.

We don’t mind antisocial people as long as you participate in our events. We are WvW focused and have 3 guild missions unlocked with challenges unlocking by next Saturday. Hi Anet,

Any thoughts on making trebs packable and moveable. When they movable they would have no attacks and have lower health so it would require escorts. It would take 30-40 supply every to set them up and 1min or so build time. I just miss the trebs from Age of Empires and I think it will add a different element to WvW in GW2.

Awesome post! Hopefully NA guilds in Tier 4-8 that have outgrown their server tactically and want a little more competitive fight give us a look. We currently have the weakest NA out of T1-4 so here’s hoping for 1-2 guilds before our eventual move up to T3.
