Start to prepare your builds for another classes, because i got some news, necros will get deleted tomorrow along with patch release.
Condi Engineer unloads conditions quickly to necro … Necro consumes or transfers them back. Necro laughs (or giggles).
Not really. Engi bleed is like 2k dmg per sec and 8k burning per sec. No time to transfer back most of times.
Necros supposed to be the condi king, its like their lore in any mmo. Then Anet comes and screw everything up and make it awful. When i saw an engi dealing 12 bleed stacks and 8k burning per sec in 3 skills i knew it they f****d up!
What are you gonna do with the roaming videos? Switch to condi engi?
Ima try calm down a bit which is being hard so far and wait 1 or 2 weeks. Maybe they release some patch to fix somethings like they always do. If necro continue to be awful like that i am just go back to my condi ranger and stack 40 bleed stacks!

Engi dealing 8k burning dmg per sec, 12 bleed stacks in 1 skill.
Necro stacking 12 bleed in 20 sec … Good job!!!
Necro meta era is coming!
I am honestly surprised people still run necro condi, thought everyone switched to power by now. Condi necro is about on the level of condi mesmer, which is not particularly viable.
I prefer condi necro anyday over power. But for high playerskill game in Spvp power is only better because of shoutbow warriors and dagger lf regen is just amazing. Outside that, condi necro all day! xD
Hey guys, how is everyone doing this weekend with such big changes coming this week?
I’d like to share my last necro video before specialization changes patch.
The footage in this video was taken like a month ago, a lot of mistakes that appear in video like lack of scepter #3 use and random dodges were already fixed and all thanks to your awesome feedback on my videos, peeps.
Thank you very much for watching!!!

I won’t feel bad about not buying HoT unless thief’s specialisation blow me away, I usually try every class for knowledge but I’m not worried of elite specs neither of rev(come on now lol) despite a certain resemblance to initiative. After a while(who knows) they probably will sell HoT only reasonably and go back on their words. I might be the minority but I’m mainly here for PvP and some WvW due to customization I do feel bad for those who wants what HoT offers.
I am a wvw/pvp guy as well, only time i pve is when friends call me to fill some spot(very rare) or map completation for legendary weapon. They better do something about it soon …
1 – Necro huge nerf, 99% will probably reroll.
2 – HoT overated price
Embrace yourself!!!
Like devs would read this. I agree 100% with that, i think someone in high position inside Anet hate necromancers …
Just a random pvp match i played this week. In process to release footages i have before trait patch. Thanks for watching!
Necros got some good trait changes and some bad trait positioning in lines. Consume condition nerf was big hit to us either but …
I don’t know if i am sad for the bad changes we got or just jelous about the amazing changes the other proffesions had.
Why would i play a condimancer if i can just play pu mesmer applying the same amount of conditions and be able to stealth for 10 sec and disengage?
Don’t get too excited before we know what necro is getting / losing, boys. xD
I watched a couple of his videos this week, was really inspiring what he done for new necros. Let’s promote it and make this community grow!
Check that out, peeps!
I also feel that power necros have it much easier against a thief.
Catch them with one good fear, two Life blasts and the thief is a goner.back to OP, great video as usual.
In fact I consider your last duel with the thief your win. If they run, and that thief did run quite a few times, you already won. Also I think you didn’t mention in the video, but you showed in many times in the duels, that when pressured, pop plague elite to get the thief off you. If the thief continues to engage you in melee range while you are in plague form, then that thief is not experienced enough.
Plague form = thief has to go range.
Thanks, bro. Yeah, good note about plague form. Let’s make necros BIG again!
a good S/D would have a hard time losing to necromancers due to slow casting and slow auto attacks, the sheer mobility and being able to deplete your LF with hit and run tactics till you are stripped of defenses and cooldowns.
Slow casting speed? All you need to kill any thief build (DD, DP, SD, SP, PD) is a power-necro with a dagger (+staff) and a high sense mouse for fast camera rotation.
The video is about Condition Necromancer.
Also, good thieves don’t tend to have problems with Power Necromancers outside of CoD proc from time to time.
He generalized necromancers.
OK then show me these thieves. On an equal skill level, the powermancer will win 9 out of 10 matches. The key is to play aggressive as soon as the thief engages, what most people don’t do because they are afraid of the stealth mechanic.
I kinda agree on that. I play power necro in Tpvp because ya know, condi necros are kinda “weak” there and i almost never ever have issues with thieves. Unless are 2 or 3 of them and they decide to focus me at same time. :/
Thanks for posting, yet another enjoyable watch!
I don’t play S/D thief to give extra tips to counter it aside from marking shadow returns on both shadow steps and sword skill 2. Also try fighting near the sword 2 shadow return point.

Thanks, mate.
Three things:
You dodge randomly too often or right after weapon swap with no pressure.
You don’t use Feast of Corruption nearly at all, relying on SA to build up LF. If you didn’t start duels with nearly full life force, you would fall down rapidly. Especially in PvP.
You cast Enfeebling without any CC on the target. Try using Tainted Shackles (follow the target if you have to, immobilize and damage is nice) in combination.
Shackles synergize nicely with crucial skills like Putrid Mark vs. other professions, too.But no bashing, helpful vid for Necromancers. I like that you’ve mentioned marking returning points!
I hear you and agree in every single point you mentioned above. This footage is a bit “old”, i have improved a lil bit ever since that, like using feast of corruption often and stuff. I’ll try to implement your tips into my gameplay and keep improving.
Thank you very much for your feedback.
Thanks for watching and leave a comment if you have anything to add, your feedback is important and help me improve.
Let’s make necro community grows even more !
On condi the most important thing is to not corrupt him until he has used contemplation.
Agreed. xD
I never use Signet of Spite anymore unless I fear them first or the opponent is in panic or I know they have nothing left to negate the skill. Too many times I whiffed Signet of Spite without setting it up properly.
The same goes for other abilities. I don’t know why condition necromancers never use scepter 3. The best time to use it, IMO, is after you overload them with condis and the immobilize from tainted shackles hits them
There were times when you were desperate for life force but if you just used scepter 3 you would have been fine.
I like the Signet of spite because it is such a good condi burst or to make them panic.
Yeah, about scepter#3 i do that a lot, but i am working on that. Those footages were recorded like 1 month ago or so, i’ve improved a little bit on that, i guess …
Maybe i could pull it off, but not so confident. He is really good and my build lacks stun breaks, if i only pick Foot in the grave.
soon…when the new patch hits and we get to pick triple trait lines…
muahahahahahah
hahahahahahahahah
HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA
Ikr? Gonna be awesome. But i think ima going dhumfire there.
20/10
at least twice as good as mine =p
Thanks, man. Nah, we equal.

Nice video. 10/10
Thanks, mate. And thanks for your feedback. I agree with the topics you posted, i’ll take them in consideration and probably add into an updated version of that video in future.
I decided to try a new thing. Your feedback is welcome, because it will help me to improve or even if you want add something i missed, will be much appreciated.
Thanks for watching.
Amazing! Assassin Style
Signet of Spite and Corrupt Boon are really helpful against rangers.
With spite you can make them panic and waste their condi cleanse or just overwhelm them with conditions and that is it.
Corrupt boon you can turn their stability into fear and fear them to death.
The key to beat ranger imo is make sure your dark path will land. Once you are at meele range with them the odds will be in your favor. And of course use terrain in your favor, LoS if needed.
Is anyone else experiencing crazy lag spikes, specially in places where it has a good amount of players? (lion arch/heart of mists / spvp rooms)
And skill delays suddenly 1 to 4 sec delay until skill is release.
Nice video! 10/10
I agree with you in some points. Condi reaper has a high potential on paper and i am looking foward try it out when beta comes. I think it has same potential or even higher than the traditional terrormancer. Perma chill + burning, can definitely cover for terror damage. But gotta wait and see …
You can still run terror if that’s your cup of tea. Personally, the 100% condition duration is going to be needed for a condi build and is just too good to pass up. At least in PvE. Hard to say about PvP. But considering Terrormancer is pretty lacking at the moment we’ll have to see how that turns out.
Yeah, like you said, the 100% condi duration trait is too good to pass. I’ll give up on terror and go for that trait. Chill and burning damage will surely make up for terror damage, easily.
This ^.
The extra duration also means your chills & fears will last longer which in turn means less incoming damage.
The only real down side to reaper (especially condi reaper) is the fact that the shroud forces it to go melee without having access to gap closers.
This may not be as much of a problem if they had all the siphon traits going through the shroud, but condi reaper doesn’t really have the extra traits available to pick them up.
So I’ll reserve my judgment till I see how well it works. The sheer amount of condition damage seems great but the lack of gap closing & sustain worries me.
I think the sustain of reaper will be great. Every attack on a chilled target will regenerate life force and our target will be perma chilled. What worry me is the gap closer, the new DS#2 skill seems okayish with 600 range gap closer with low cd, but idk yet …

- What is strongest rotation in lich form?
- What is best utility, spectral walk or spectral armor?
- Change Sigil?
1 – Just press 1 till the end. If you see a target full with boons, use skill 5, that will help out your team by a lot. Save skill 3 if someone is going for stomp or ress.
2- For powernecro i rather use spectral armor. Give you a nice protection uptime and regenerate a lot of life force and your strongest point is death shroud.
3- I use sigil of rage on my dagger along with sigil of air. Can setup some nice burst after dagger #3 skill followed by wells.
Tips:
Position yourself really well or you’ll get focused and have no place to run.

I think blind is the only reliable way, tbh. Weakness also good, you still take dmg but 50%.
Thanks for the orgasm.
You are welcome! xD
Me gusta.
That intro made me lol. Necromancers really do subscribe to sterotypical music and style as much as Mesmers use stereotypical names and shades of pink and purple.
The world wouldn’t be the same without sterotypicals.
Epic skillz. Great editing on the vid. 10/10
Thanks, mate.
I’m with a power build. berserker, dagger/warhorn and staff, well of suffering, spectral armor and wurm. 6/2/0/0/6 build.
Sometimes I can burst them down, but only if is a bad engi or without shield.
Against a engi with shield, I barely can win because he can block/reflect my attacks and can use a large amount of CC to take me down, making me unable to attack.tricks?
1 – Dagger #3 > auto atk or wells at engi’s location. He will take some damage and probably panic and use his block.
2- Warhorn #4 is unblockable, it will interrupt his entire block “cast”.
3 – Swap to staff, place some marks down to put some pressure and reaper mark
4- DS #1 until he dead
Thanks for watching.
If you’re new to necro you might struggle with rangers spamming 2, but after a while killing them is the easyest thing you can do
What he said.
It’s okay, but…
Linkin Park?
Linkin Park used to be good.
Used to be. But after Meteora and Minutes to Mightnight albums, not really
.
I promisse this one has no linkin park: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8snhqsivxZI
Signet of spite is great against them. Even you not being a condition build spite make them slow, blind and weak. You can gap close and have like 10~20 sec of free hit on them.
Dagger main hand is the best pve weapon so far imo. Faster attacks, Life force regen on auto attacks and some life steal in case your hp drops too fast.
In comparision axe dmg is lower and slower.
I enjoyed the video and the music. Good work indeed.
Thanks xD
I think u played very well!
and i know a couple of those u killed. they are good duelers too.
Thanks.
