i think it’s probably fault of your new system which prevents from kicking random players before last boss etc…
now, when someone get disconnect due to game crash or something, game kicks others from dungeon, its quite annoying when 1 get error and 4 others get kicked in 3. fractal right before last boss…

“no respawn” system is awesome, it was annoying in classic dungeons, somewhere too many waypoints, somewhere almost none of them even when dungeon is quite hard…
in fractals its fair, do or die, fight or wipe
i like it and i bet many others do aswell
its just a part of difficulty :P

it was more Player vs Sharks then Player vs Player map
its fine now :P
PS: pls fix that bug when you dont get more then 5 glory for kill, no defend bonus etc on this map :/

ele is quite hard and very squishi profession… get some good build with mediocre survivability at least
you say you are D/D, do you use signet/aura build?
good ways to level up are…
1) doing WVW with group
2) crafting
3) 100% completetion of maps
best one is combination of all imo
almost all bots use ranger with bear pet, i think its for a reason
so i would suggest ranger for farming
you get chests after whole tournament ends, so if you won your last game in first round and then lost in second round, you must wait for final match to end
its intended to have limited choices, even some stats combinations are not obtainable for a reason
im not sure about this, waiting time is less then 10sec, so it cant be forced match…
and no need to mension that rank isnt always relevant factor, it can be farmed, it can be quite low due to bunker meta even when player is good, some people just have their limits and dont improve even after lots of time, etc…

There’s only 1 instance man.. unless you’re actually being put into an overflow
1 instance per server
and some maps on some servers are just almost empty… it would be nice to have a chance to go on same map on different server (the one where is more people)

scepter nerfed almost into oblivion in beta, staff useless in single target dps, no weapon swap on elementalist… its nice we have good D/D dmg on melee range as clothwearers, but we need something more then only this i think…

i think that main problem is that steal dont have animation/cast time…
making C’n’D + Steal + Backstab combo in less then 1sec, silly concept
i think that some kind of rating should be #1 in your list, because playing constantly against MUCH worse or MUCH better teams is terrible, frustrating and definitely not fun…

RTL is not teleport, but lightning flash should remove target as mesmers port do imo
in hot join, you dont deserve a debuff, because its supposed to be only training/for fun mode…
in tournaments, you cant join another tournament until the one you are in is finished, you cant leave in fact, its the same like being in and afk
conquest is fun

i think orange fire effects are here not to suit proffesions, but to suit a dungeon theme
anyway, this suggestion sounds interesting
this game needs leaderboard in terms of some rating… tournaments are getting very unfair and almost unplayable… differences between players/teams are huge even after paid tournaments introduction…
give us some rated mode so all people can play against players of +- same skill or SPVP will die soon, none have fun when getting stomped over and over…
and no need to mension that 8v8 hot join is bad idea, its sure thing after some time…

in my opinion problem is obvious…
both thief and ele have lowest HP in game, so they are meant to be high dmg professions or even nukers…
ele have light armor, thief have medium armor (hmm, ele should have another bonus for this, or?)
ele does less dmg then thief when speced purely for dmg (hmmm, second point for thief, wtf?)
ele have lower survivability (mainly due to stealth) unless he spec for it and thus losing dmg output so he have even less dmg then thief (third one)
ele have worse mobility then thief (who can compare self to short bow port? even on higher places (so imba in pvp)? or 25% speed signet and some others for sure, eles skills cant)
only things where can ele purely win is bunkering (its quite silly that lowest hp prof is one of best bunkers but why not) and support, but again, only if they spec for it and lose some other aspects (mainly dmg)
i didnt mension control, because they are on par imo, ele can do some control, thief have many gap closers and stealth, he dont need control
thief > ele
WVW doesnt count because you need long range to be effective, not so many choices
and in SPVP, staff is viable only as a bunker spec but thats more because bunkers overall are overpowered, not only ele
-1 for this suggestion, no end game gear progression is one of the best things on this game :P none wants to grind 2 months till he can get into a specific dungeon…
how could this happen? you say you are buying them only for achievment and then selling/salvaging? i dont see any other way how you dont know which one you got already

ofc whole class mechanic is based on illusions, you have illusions on at least 2 skills on every weapon combination… but with this trait, mechanic of your class is based on that trait, because it can generate (even without vigor) twice as much illusions you could without it, maybe even more, didnt calculate it…
doubles the number of illusions with just tier 2 trait is quite absurd from my point of view… moving it to tier 3 is a fair change imo
illusions are by far the most annoying thing on Mesmer and one of the main reasons (along with Portal e.g.) Mesmers are called OP…
main source of illusions is this trait, fact that main source of most annoying thing on some profession is only tier 2 trait isnt very good…
i suggest to switch this trait to tier 3 and Empowering Matras from tier 3 to tier 2, because mantra builds are already too weak, so this could help them a bit and decrease number of clone spamming builds
this could at least partially solve the “Mesmers clones are OP” problem

as said, if you dont like playing against premade teams, go play hot join… tournaments are what they should be now…
hot join – free for anyone, cant join as premade, only alone
free tournament – free for anyone, can join alone aswell as premade
paid tournament – need to pay tickets, only for premades
1 for solo players, 1 for good solo players/“bad” teams, 1 for good teams, this IS balanced
its almost free, it shouldnt be extra strong, but unique and nice addition for players who just finished story and dont have full exotic equipment
stop crying about anything new what isnt stronger then what we have now

if you are not thinking of wow, i still answered your question… making conditions crit would make them incredibly overpowered, even now they are strong and ppl are forced to get condition removal utility if they dont want to get kittened…

1) there are many sources of conditions
2) conditions ignore armor
3) conditions stacks with itself
i think you are refering to WOW, where conditions could crit from some datadisk/patch, but its very different, in WOW, pure condition (DOT) classes had only few sources which doesnt stack with itself (like our conditions do) and slow ticks (every 3 sec or so), compared to direct dmg it was very underpowered and needed a buff, thats not our problem
mechanic is ok… just fix bugs and balance it a bit and itll be ok
if you want to have more range choices in combat, try to get conjure utility skills or go play another profession
ele dont need to have weapon swap, just some bug fixes and maybe minor balancing of elements…
before some time Signet of Restoration got nerfed on use heal and increased per cast heal…
tooltip shows 202 heal per cast, im getting 150 heal per cast, bug? no healing stat, no conditions on me…
i think frostbow is quite interesting skill and i would like to use it in WVW while playing D/D ele, problem is its range, why shortbow and longbow got 1200 and frostbow only 900?
its useless even in WVW, with 1200 range it could be usefull for both dagger and scepter eles to increase their range while defending on the walls
but what its supposed to be now? useless for staff, useless for scepter and not rewarding enough even for dagger…
suggestion? increase its range to 1200 and well see if its worth using

speak for yourself… Conquest is much better then CTF or even Deathmatch… it promotes strategy over blind rushing one spot much more then others does… but it would be nice at least for fun, not for competitive scene
look at other modes…
CTF – whoa we need that flag, one flag, omg get it
Deathmatch – omg we need to nuke that one guy down, that one, yeah
GVG – we must kill their lord, that one lord, do it now
do you see it? all are based around one point and give a rush feel, you dont have a choice, conquest is at the other hand based on 3 points so you MUST spread and use some more strategy then just go for that one point… and with their secondary objectives as a bonus and feel of difference of maps its good, more difference than other modes could give

D/D ele (and ele overall) is quite hard to play, i used to play him a lot in beta and switched to mesmer… after getting more skill in this game i returned to ele again and i feel much better
but i die much more then with mesmer, you probably cant do anything about it, mainly in longer fights where you dont have time to heal/reset cd

i think its ok now… he cant just leave tournament and join another one, he must wait until his team finishes, thats enough for free tournament
i support “The Summoner” idea, would be nice to get some more element oriented summons, at least 1 more
but i highly disagree with pet control, as already said, it should be exclusive to ranger because its his F skill
never trust the tooltips… thats main problem imo :/ you never know if skill is broken or tooltip is wrong…
strong downed state promote cooperation of players, because its not that easy like in other games, just nuking 1 in 2v2 fight isnt pure win
its more complicated, maybe that is what whey want it to be
so buff ele a bit or nerf others, its quite easy
