The thing is almost any tag could mean something offensive to a narrow minded person.

UA is simply the country code for ukraine (ISO 3166-2:UA: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_3166-2:UA). Nothing inappropriate about it at all.

The new and the old borderlands will rotate from week to week. So they are not gone.

GvG is for a very small minority. Waste of development resources.

Oh and ascneded weapons are account bound. for someone with 27k+ AP you should know Malediktus.

But you can still sell them for 1g each to the npc vendors. And getting all tequatl weapons is basically impossible without insane luck. I only have 1 hoard after ~200 kills. And I dont know anyone who has more than 4 hoards. Getting 10 hoards would takes like at least a decade with average luck and one tequatl kill a day.

I dont think this should give an achievement though. It would make all the materials used for ascended weapons skyrocket for no good reason.
There are other stuff that deserves a collection achievement before it.

If you want to farm weapon achievements I suggest the ascalon fractal. Go right after the tent. Some veterans which instantly die and respawn very fast.

I think its very painful to play 10h without seeing even 1% progress to any of the achievements. (100% * 10 hours =1000h). Most are less than 0.1% per 10 hours

There were at least one or 2 people who got suspended for griefing a maize balm farm by killing the elementals even after being asked to stop.

No, they were suspended for killing the ambient creatures before they could be turned into an candy corn elemental. Even after a GM showed up and moved them to a empty instance (because they claimed to do it for weapon master achievements), they kept going back to the old one.
There is no rule to kill things in the open world for legitimate reasons. Even if you used your balm you do not own the candy corn elementals.

There is no rule against farming other peoples candy corn elementals. They are free for all since its open world.

I believe it takes 31 days or so for the restrictions to go away completly. You can raise your current limit by playing.

They can say the truth. It wasnt delayed because extra testing, but so the next update can be on 31.03 instead of 24.03

Today I earned the Radiant Chausses (requires 27k AP). But they have a quite ugly clipping error on my Norn. They are not even clipping with another armor part, but clipping with itself. Quite a disappointment considering the effort it takes to earn this skin.

For a small portion of players. For Anet its a meaningless part of GW2 if you look at how much effort they spend on WvW compared to the rest of the game.

May not be a big deal for yourself but for others it helps get rid of empyreal fragments by having another use of them instead of trashing them getting nothing in return.

People should learn to deal with retired items.

The PvP and WvW maps will be for everyone, not only expansion owners. So it would be unfair to consider them expansion content.

There are more things not truly random.
I am keeping track of the black lion goods from daily login rewards. And the distribution is very weird. Example on some of my new accounts I have 3-4 black lion salvage kits already. On others 0 kits but 3+ of a different item. So far only a single black lion key on all of my 30 accounts.
I guess each account has its own seed which affects the likelyhood of getting a specific item :/

You play on a server ranked 15. Its much easier to get Dolyak kills on dead servers like that. I play WvW for hours a day currently and I rarely get more 10 Dolyak kills per day. Granted I am not actively hunting them because I take part in all areas of WvW, but there are so many other people around that its hard to get many Dolyak kills.
You should get off your unrealistic expectations for WvW achievements, just because you already went above and beyond 99.9%+ of the WvW player will ever each. WvW is only a small part of GW2 so completing them should not take longer than all other achievements of the game combined.

That would still be way too much. I probably spent 3000 hours or so in WvW already and I didnt even flip 500x SM yet despite spending most my time there. Let alone 5000x SM. I have seen weeks where we owned SM 3 days straight…

10k dolyaks, 1k Stonemist castle etc should be the absolute maximum for the achievements. Anything more is pretty much unrealistic and still way out of line compared to any other achievement category.

As I usually say, I’ve always believe items should be introduced into the game and stay available to everyone at any day of the week. There can be special hoops to jump through to obtaining the items but, there should be some avenue to getting it. This would curtail any capacity to “corner” a market. Also, items should be available to new players. Especially when they’ve been putting the game on deep discount to bring in a lot of new players.

Too bad there is no content in the game difficult enough to keep an item exclusive if its available permanently. Only extremly rare drops (even more rare than precursors) could achieve that in GW2. Or extremly time consuming such as getting 36k AP (oh wait we have rewards for that already)

Probably not market manipulation, but the Halloween raffle 2014 supply is starting to run out. Glad I bought mine for like 600g right after the raffle.

There are some good commanders, but noone who isnt replaceable.

I don’t think Shield is very easy to do the ‘normal’ way, and this video shows a very fast way to achieve the Shield Master achievement.

Considering the long recharge time of shield skills there are several equally fast places. You dont need instant respawns if the recharge with traits is 24seconds.

The best and easiest way to do the weapon skill achievements is still the ascalon fractal. Go right after spawn. Instantly respawning opponents which die in one hit. No need to find some personal story mission for it.
