If opponents say “gg” in chat it always makes me furious, especially if they won the match. If I did not win it is a bad game in my book. Only wins advance my achievements so defeats are a waste of time.
It came to my attention, that the standard player models are not working for revenant opponents. Needs to be fixed.
Getting to 400 scribing should cost 500g max, anything more is unacceptable for a personal crafting skill. Our guild is boycotting scribing until it is fixed to something reasonable.
Considering ESL pro league is above legendary division, I dont think the average pvp player in saphir is ranked too high.
Taxing in people to maps that are getting close needs to be disabled or at least you need to give people a fat warning that they are about to join a map which will be closed in x minutes. I am sick and tired of getting booted out of maps with no warning and loosing all my map progress and then I am on a map with no people about to fail the meta event essential having wasted a good chunk of my time.
To people who say that you can stop the map closure by filling the map: I never saw this working, so far it was always game over after 60min. The notification goes away after some time but that seems to be a visual bug only.
Same issue. My Unbound is not moving. All my settings are maxed out.
I hope they do not come back. It costed me tons of gems to get them out of the RNG boxes.
Mayatl the Fierce sometimes awards a hidden mastery point, but unlike the champions of the other factions does not award the achievement.

You don’t need to pick players. There’s enough room for error with the event that you don’t need perfection.
For pugs there aren’t, otherwise why couldn’t we get a >50% win rate now?
Because a lot of pugs are usually lazy and do not put in any effort to deserve the win. The decent pugs already organised themselves in communities.

It is a tradeable exotic. All special skins from the raids are ascended and acc bound. Also all special drops from the raids can be bought from raid tokens, but Azimuth is not on the reward trader.
The only special item from raids which is tradeable is the ghostly infusion (drop one, from NPC is acc bound).

I disagree, on the grounds that if they were going to put forge recipes in, they’d do it for more than one weapon. This one has been visible in the wardrobe, like the other HoT exotics like Ebb, Flow, Dandy Bluster, etc., and each of those is a dropped weapon.
If it would be a drop it would be highly unlikely that there would be no supply for weeks and then suddenly, without a patch which might have fixed a drop table, several appear on the TP.

I have the same experience. It also feels like 80% of the losses are not caused by me but by the rest of the people in my team doing stupid things and taking unneccessary risks. It really makes me furios with this sill division/pips system.
This is why pvp will never be eSports: There is too much of everything.
Too many minions/illusions/pets/summons causing screen clutter
Stealth
Too many too strong aoes which turn vast areas into “no go” areas
Too many blocks
Too many evades
Too boring to watch. I fall asleep when trying to spectate games.
Solo/Duo queuing matchmaking and winstreaks is too much about luck.
Remove the garbage mech of “No CC”, make CC on the Gerent works the same like other mobs and that’s all we need.
Nobody is asking faceroll content, we just want to have a >80% winning rate when we spent 15-30 mins to organize.
If you want a 80% win rate, work for it. Asking Anet to nerf the encounter is not the way to go for it.

Exactly. If a hardcore guild group can do a full clear of the wing in ~40min, a casual group can do it, too. All it takes is a larger amount of tries and maybe aim for one boss per evening instead of all 3 bosses in one session.

I think the title is perfect, because it feels like a majority of losses are a result of these things. I rarely have the feeling a game got lost because the other team played their classes more skillfully.
I am tired of people wasting my hard earned pips. I am not the greatest pvp player ever, so I fully understand if people cannot use the full potential of their class or just want to play different classes for the achievements. But here are some easily avoidable stupid mistakes.
1) Rotate around your camera when leaving a point so you do not loose it 3 seconds later due to bad awareness of your surroundings.
2) Do not fight off point for no good reason. (eg getting a buff on the kodan map)
3) Do not fight at 3 points at the same time, it is a recipe to getting a loss.
4) Know the buff spawn times on the kodan map (Meditation of Stillness (center) — Your team receives double points for each captured point. Comes at 11:30, 8:30, 5:30, and 2:30. The buff is effective for 25 ticks.; Meditation of Tranquility (north, underground) — Captures all three points for your team, launching foes out of the capture point. Comes at 8:30 and 2:30.) and consider if it is worth going for them. Unless you are already dominating they are often key to winning the map.
5) Do not go afk for whatever reason, unless its already like 450-200 there is still a good chance to win.
6) Watch the minimap to see if someone is calling for assistance or other information.
7) Do not run solo into 2-3 people defending a point. Let them camp there and go for another objective. You will just gift them points and your presence will be missed elsewhere.
8) Do not waste your time to fight bunker builds camping on a point. Holding two other objectives should be enough to win.
9) If you have absolutely no idea which builds are good check metabattle.com. It has a lot of builds considered great / meta.
If you try to follow these points, you can be useful to your team without being good in playing your class.
The achievement would be too easy and unpunishing if you would not have to replay everything.
10 divisions is quite a lot considering the current set of achievements will be replaced in a year according to Anet
There are 26 tiers from amber 0 to legend 1. So unless you can play pvp for many hours every day it is impossible to get into legendary division even if you are the best player in the game under the current system.
Some achievements are hidden until you unlocked them by achieving them or unlocking a prequesite achievement. Like if you complete Legendary Precursor Crafting 1 it will unlock the 2nd, then the 3rd etc.
Also am I missing something or does the API also do not show achievements like
Group Effort I, Group Effort II, Group Effort III, Group Effort IV, Group Effort V
Lunatic Inquisition Regular and probably some more, I did not check all.
They are repeatable achievements in the historical section.

I like raids the way they are. So far it is the only enjoyable content in HoT.
People who insist on playing a specific build are toxic, not the players who try to reach success.
How about 2 pips for a win and -1 for a loss? And in return you enable pip and tier losses in all divisions.

I think you need to hit legendary 6 times for it, because the achievement did not progress when i reached emerald.
Yes it is impossible to progress as solo Q player. I am always stuck at 0-2 pips in emerald
This whole league system is not fun at all. Wins should give 2 pips and loosing should be -1 to 0 pips depending on how badly you lost. Even with that system you would need to play an insane amount of games in just 57 days to reach legendary division.

Are you on NA? On EU this is getting organised by communities several times per day with a very high success rate.

I looked everywhere but “Thorn Hollow” and “Deserted Coast” are nowhere to be found

Use cheaper buff food. Costed me less than 30s per hour to clear this raid.
If it is 4 divisions in one season, it will be by far the hardest legendary/precursor to get in this game, I cant even progress in emerald with this stupid system
You need to kill all 3 bosses without getting defeated for The Eternal. Did you kill the previous two bosses undefeated?
I hope Anet improves the system for the next season, so people actually can progress without exploits and/or premades.

The precursor crafting collections are a disaster. Only do them if you really want one of the new legendaries or want the few AP that come with the collections.
One black lion set every 2 weeks is an insult. The old rate of 4-6 week for a new set was more than enough. Add to the insult that most sets would make perfect sense to be ingame rewards.
Mini Sabetha in gem shop is an insult, too.
