Having an guild item you can buy with influence would be best. Activate it and for 24 hours events completed yield an extra 5% gold which goes Strait to the Guild bank. Possibly even have the item cost a couple of merits.
This way the guild must work together to get it but individual members are not out anything. But as leaders you would need to decide when is your guilds most active time to get the most out of it
This is the best suggestion here. Have it be like the other guild options such as guild gathering bonus, guild magic find bonus, guild karma bonus, etc. It would be guild bank bonus, and generate an extra 5% of gold/silver/copper into the guild bank. Its not taking any the player normally earns, but gives extra the same as the other guild bonuses.
My screen says 2 stacks when used from skills 6-0, and 1 stack when used from the toolbelt F1-F4. No bug.
Thank you for the input, everyone. Sounds like I am going to abandon this idea, and come up with something else. Maybe a Sylvari who WISHES she was Human? And almost turned to the Nightmare Court, believing Faolain had to power to change her? And then Caithe rescued her, or something….
Yes attunement swap works as a weapon swap, as I have sigil of battle and sigil of hydromancy on my Ele’s weapons.
I love the Charr racial skill Battle Roar, so I went Charr Ranger.
I dont mind being the only person who likes the music. Give me more metal and hard rock, please!
My Charr Ranger Nock Longhorn with his pet devourer outside of Lion’s Arch.
I created a role-playing backstory for my new Sylvari Ranger, and my guild leader suggested I ask around before I use this, incase its too overpowered or out of character.
My idea is my female Sylvari is actually a female Human cursed by Faolain and turned into a Nightmare Court Sylvari. She was able to break free of Faolain’s hold on her, but is stuck as a Sylvari and cannot change back to Human.
Is that something Faolain would do, or could do, or is it out of character for her?
If you throw a Sylvari is that considered tossing salad?
You would think it’d be as simple as putting 4 Transmutation Stones into the Mystic Forge to create one Transmutation Crystal. Or some similar formula.
As Leamas said, it wouldnt be fair to them to make the recipe this simple, as Anet makes their money thru gem-store sales. The recipe has to be something that costs as much or slightly more than converting gold to gems. Otherwise, they have no incentive to put this conversion into the game, and would be happy for us to continue buying gems to get our transmute crystals.
It’s because of server limitations. 1 byte can have 256 ‘items’ stored in it, meaning that every stack you have only takes up 1 byte of server space. Were they to increase it, it would put a lot more pressure on their servers.
In fact, if you break the 256 limit, you’ll break the game. Fun story: there was a bug in GW1 where you could use heroes and disconnects to get a bigger party than normal. The highest I ever went with it was making a 20/8 party, but someone I know actually tried to go higher and higher. When he reached a 255/8 party, his game crashed.
TL;DR: it’s never going to happen due to server limitations.
Except when you consider our dungeon tokens in the wallet are unlimited, not 250, then that theory breaks. There has to be a different reason why we’re capped at 250. Especially when you need 250 or more for some crafting or mystic forge things.
What we really need, and this has been suggested many times, is a way to turn the bundles of regular transmute stones we get, into fine transmute crystals. It seems like every time I finish a map, its another 3 stones to collect dust in my bank. And I already have all 9 characters at level 80.
Even something like 25 stones, + 5-10 dust, +elonian wine, +whatever to make 1-5 crystals would be great.
You must still have something on your character that has not be assigned new stats. Carefully check over every piece of armor and trinkets, including weapons.
I’m not sure I understand why you think this is a bug. You’re “attacking” something. That’s supposed to put you in combat. Why wouldnt it?
Almost identical to what I run, Seras, except i went 0/30/0/30/10 for Precise Sights at 30, and Static Discharge in tools.
Superior Runes of Strength are also good, so is Ogre. Anything that gives +might duration along with Juggernaut rocks.
I think the issue with that is if you change zones or map somewhere, the game will auto-kick you if there is a new patch. Because finishing one fractal and starting another is considered changing zones, you got the boot. This would need to be addressed by a developer.
They are doing maintenence right now, and it will affect things such as guild chat.
I like the idea of different events happening, too. For one, the bandit attacks at the reservoir in Queensdale do have a couple different possibilities. The bandits can either come with bombs, or they can come with poison. I’d like to see more of that in other parts of the world. Foes should not take the exact same path, and perform the exact same attacks and dialogue each time. If bandits are attacking a fort, for instance, the first attack could be a wave of warriors. Then if that fails, 30 mins later they would try a different attack and send in a group of archers. And then maybe engineers with flamethrowers. Something different each time with each different event.
From wiki: static bonus sigils stack with themselves when used on dual-wielded weapons, except for Superior Sigil of Force and Superior Sigil of Accuracy.
I need clarification here. Are you saying one Force and one Accuracy do not stack together, or two Forces or two Accuracy do not stack?
Love the slickpack! Thx gw2 for awsome engi skin
I love mine too. I dont mind that it clips with the flamethrower as in the picture above. In fact, I think it just adds to the flamethrower’s coolness. (or hotness)
I approve Rouven just for his cool signature.
I just find it confusing that I can get 20/14/+14 stats from crests, but an ascended infusion is +4 or +5. That’s it??
I got a basket of ascended weapons that I can pick one from, from a champion loot chest while doing one of Scarlet’s invasions. I was so shocked I can’t even decide what weapon I want from it yet! Their pink color doesnt go with any of my armors.
But yes, they do drop, so you dont have to craft them.
I made my warrior a Charr simply because For Great Justice and Battle Roar are awesome together.
How come people still havent searched and read that Tarnished Coast is the RP server? You cant swing a dead cat in town without hitting someone using /me chat.
Ahhh that would be why, the free trial. They showed up on Tarnished Coast this weekend too.
I’m bummed that Exotic stuff I can put things like +20’s and +14’s, while with an ascended item I can only put a single +4.
It seems many of us like the Flame & Frost Molten Retreat dungeon, so good job to Leif and company for that. So how about adding it to the fractals rotation so we can play it again, please?
Did you recently finish the Boss Week/Sunless Living Story content? I’ve seen other threads here where people say the Teq announcement goes away when you get all the acheivements.
What are you doing that you gather so much dust? I’m crafting as soon as I get it and sometimes it takes me a day or two or three before I have 100.
But yes I seriously want 500 or 1000 pieces to a stack of everything.
Interestingly, I find that it’s not time from being hit by a monster, but distance from said monster that will allow you to drop combat. In other words, the monster that hit you that put you in combat is still close enough to register you as “in combat”.
Solutions:
Don’t get hit. This can be tricky if you’re trying to do it in a jumping puzzle, but it can be do-able.Keep moving away from the monster. The suggested jumpdodgeroll can help, as can swiftness if you need to make a jump in a puzzle.
Kill the monster that hit you.
Yep, it does still happen, and the problem is getting hit by something you dont want to kill. Its especially annoying when you’re trying to rush past mobs to get to a Vista. Killing the monster is the easiest way to get you out of combat.
I’m still too much in shock over a guy with a wife naming himself CuteLilKittenHugz to reply to anything else in this thread.
No you’re not the only one. Similar things happen to me, too, where my target will suddenly change to another player, or one of my necro’s minions.
Congrats Tarnished Coast!! I see a lot of people I recognize in that screen shot. I wish I was there but I’m at work. =P
Try standing down and representing outside in an explorable area. This bug seems to happen only in towns, and fixes itself when you’re out in the world.
Did you go out into an explorable area, instead of a town? This seems to happen in towns, but fixes itself out in the world.
I like how in the Jewelry window they are called earrings, but when your character wears them, they are now accessories.
My shaders are set to high, and my torch still gives very little light.
This happens to me all the time too, and I have to be very careful when I send out mail.
search This is a common problem.
Try going out into an explorable area such as Queensdale, Bloodtide Coast, etc and then try representing. This bug only seems to happen in towns.
I have the same issue with my Flames of Kryta when in the Obsidian Sanctum WvW jumping puzzle. My torch does not provide near enough light as the provided torches do. Nor does it work to light up the wall by the gargoyle.
I’ll try adjusting my Shaders.
Try going out into an explorable area instead of a town, and then try representing.
Try going out into an explorable area, instead of a town, and then try it.
Try going out into an explorable area such as Queensdale, Bloodtide Coast, etc, and then try to stand down and represent your guild. I’ve seen this error happen only in towns, but fixes itself when you leave town.
Yes, and it stinks that it doesnt count as a shout for class trait purposes.
I received a free WXP booster in the mail from Arenanet, and it only showed up in the mailbox of my main character, not my WvW character. Its now soulbound and I have no way of transfering it to the character that would use it.
I farmed Southsun quite often when I was trying to get karka shells to upgraded my Sclerite backpiece. Now that I have it, the only time I go there is for the crab scuttle guild rush. And while we’re there, the guild will usually complete the karka queen events as well for the laughs.
Same here, mine are soulbound too, to a char I dont use in WvW.
You’ll have to roll a greatsword-wielding character and build this:
