I dont think this is a bug, I think this is intended, so you cannot cast a skill, then switch to another skill, and cast that, and then switch to another and cast that as well. Switching skills and being able to cast the new skill immediately would defeat the purpose of cooldowns.
I dont see them as being a couple. I see them as two girlfriends talking suggestively. I have several straight female friends who act lesbian when they’re together, but its just an act.
I was farming T5/T6 materials in Malchor’s Leap, and I put up a LFG ad in the Living Story section (where else would I put it? Everything else is dungeons or personal story.) to see if anyone else wanted to party up and go gathering. I never got any accepts, and after a while I looked and my ad was no longer there in the LFG section. I admit I died a time or two, does that reset it?
His screenshot shows 100% completion and every POI/WP in the game found, so yes there’s a bug somewhere. The issue is where? He’s been in the Chantry several times (I’m assuming both rooms in the chantry?), and says he has revisited every area.
At this point I can only assume the game shows he’s been everywhere on the map screen, but somewhere in the code it thinks he hasnt been everywhere.
My last suggestion would be to revisit each instance in the 5 racial towns, see if something there triggers. The Grove has Caithe’s house, and the home instance for example, while Black Citidel has several areas inside the Imperial Core.
1. There’s an added POI or Waypoint somewhere that you havent gotten yet when you last completed a map. But if you’re sure you have them all discovered, then we can cross that off.
2. There’s a reward chest you were given for completing a map, that you didnt click on and accept. That will also stop you from getting your gifts of exploration. Unfortunately, there’s no way to know which chest you didnt accept without visiting each map again. It will pop up right away when you enter the zone.
Neither one of those is a cantrip skill, so they should not be affected by Cantrip Mastery. They are skills that are similar to cantrips, and provide the same effect, but they’re still not cantrips.
LA is the easiest city to get to, since you can go there free (go to the heart of the mists, then walk thru the portal). Heading to any other city quickly requires paying the waypoint costs. That’s probably why LA is the most crowded and the other cities are not.
I used spirit weapons while leveling up my Sylvari Guardian, and really never had a whole lot of fun playing him. I thought it was cuz Sylvari was my least favorite class, and I shelved him. Recently I dug him back out and changed his build to shouts and consecrations (wall of reflection). I’m having A LOT more fun with him now and actually enjoy playing as a guardian again.
I love my boon duration bonus of 70%. I use Chocolate Omnomberry Cream for the boost as well, and I explain to my party I’m using it for the boon duration, not the magic find.
No, its not a bug. When you’re down-leveled, you’re at the area’s level +1. A level 15 area will down-level you to 16, and a level 25 area will down-level you to 26.
5>1 is too low of a ratio, but 25>1 would work, along with some expensive stuff like 25 mystic coins, and 5 bottles of elonian wine, and 5 mystic stones or mystic binding agents, etc, all thrown into the mystic forge.
Yep, you need a “safe box” or an “invisible bag”. They’re easily craftable by your leatherworker, tailor, or armorsmith. Or you can buy one off the Trading Post.
You can also use the elevator near the Lion’s Arch portal to get to The Bane waypoint, then run west to the door leading outside The Bane. The Haunted Nolani waypoint is just west of that exit, along the bridge.
No, mystic forge stones throw in a random element and actually make it worse if you’re going for a certain weapon. Stick with 4 of the same thing you want out of it.
People are saying just buy the T6 materials off the TP. Well, someone has to be rolling in the T6 materials if there are all these things available to buy on the TP. How does that happen?
Level 1-24 gear has one stat.
Level 25-54 gear has two stats.
Level 61-80 gear has three stats.
But there is a limbo section of level 55-60 gear that can have both 2 stats or 3 stats. What I find the most annoying is I receive level 60 rare gear from map completion that has only 2 stats. Why is this? I’d rather it be a hard cutoff at level 55 where everything 55 and up has 3 stats on it, instead of this mix and match.
If you’re missing one heart in a map and cannot find it, look for the spyglass icon of a scout. The scouts show up on your map (and mini-map) until you’ve done their heart.
I love my torch in PVE. Searing Flames to remove a boon from enemies, and Fiery Wrath that increases damage aganist burning foes mesh very well with Radiant Fire. Scepter 3 then Scepter 2 then Torch 4 & 5 is my favorite combo.
In GW1 when you bought a costume it was unlocked for all your characters by speaking to an NPC in game. I really would like the ability to have my gem store purchases used by multiple characters.
You beat me to it. I’m hoping the azurite nodes come back with this fractal, as well. I’m very happy to have this dungeon back, but the nodes too would be just awesome.
It probably got fixed with the server reset today for the new patch. This bug has happened before, and it seems to occur when someone runs away from the skill challenge and the Hylek follows you, and “forgets” how to get back to his home.
