Please, please please give us a real expansion. I’d pay $70 for some real content.
Let’s get real here, LS is far from “an expansion’s worth of content”. SO far, how much new content is permanent? 2 zones (1,5, dry top is small) in 2 years. They could have released a full expansion by now.

I want to see Maguuma Wastes, Isles of Janthir, Ring of Fire, Crystal Desert, Blood Legion Homelands, Deldrimor Front… So much potential, and yet we never get to go to these places. I’m an explorer, I want to discover new horizons =(

Keep getting stuck when loading. This last time in Kessex Hills, when exiting story instance just 3 minutes ago. This has been going on and off now for a week, and is very disrupting. Both my mains are now locked out for some reason.

Is anything done? Just a “we’re on it” will help assuage the “despair” of not being able to play.

Just quit GW2 for a few days/weeks. Personally, I’m playing through Crysis again. When I’m done, I kind of expect GW2 to be playable again…

The latest update was a disaster. I’m crashing constantly now. Mostly freezing on loading screens.

Ignore the Anet fanbois saying it’s out fault. It’s not. I think they’re trying to get a promotion or something. Most of my characters are stuck now, it’s ridiculous. And still no fix in sight.

I quit the game until they get this sorted out. No game is worth this kind of misery.

Nothing. Tyria was just fine in GW1, before this lame tree ever existed. The Sylvari would be orphaned, which I would like because I hate that Mary Sue species.

That map can’t be a globe… it has to be a torus (donut-shape).

No. The center is the Pale Tree, the green orb smashing into it is Mordremoth killing the Pale Tree.

We know this because Scarlet saw the same thing.

please keep the living story the way its been a story instance. This recent episode was really bad the whole part where people had to do the events was a waste of time to me no one pays attention to the npc conversations. The events just wasted time and were nothing but a complete mess PLEASE PLEASE Anet please keep the story in the instances. For once you guys did something right and now this… Also i it’s been 2 years and we have not seen any hint of an expansion i’ll gladly pay 50$ for an actual expansion and i know many others will too. The living story is neat as a ongoing story arc but in no way possible would i consider it an expansion to the game.

This bug is widespread.

Same problem! Going to Fields of Ruin crashed my client, and I can no longer play that character as she is located in the affected zone.

Also, skill activation is very slow and laggy. My internet can’t be to blame. Super-duper fibernet and I’ve managed GW2 just fine for years.

I’m stuck in Fields of Ruin! Any attempt to start that character results in a client crash!

I was playing the living story on my lvl 80 norn, and teleported to a WP in Fields of Ruin to reach the next location.

My game client crashed hard, saying “the game client lost its connection to the server. Please wait a few minutes before restarting the client and trying again”.

So I rebooted GW2 and reached the character select screen. To my shock, my lovely lvl 80 has been reset to 0% map completion! Any attempt to join the game results in the same crash, as she is now offisially in the “Fields of Ruin”, and this map causes the crash. My other characters are just fine, they’re in LA. Help? I do NOT want to start over!

Update: I rebooted my PC. Now I have my map completion back, but the map still crashes the client. This time I get to hear the soundtrack of the map, and even some ambient sounds, but it’s still on the loading screen (without hearts, vistas, etc) until it finally crashes.

I have a confession to make. I quit Guild Wars 2 after the whole toymaker Tixx thing, back in 2012. I started again a month ago. I’ve done all of season 2 so far, but feel very, very sorry I missed out on season 1. I have no connection to any of the characters (my first reaction was “who are these clowns? Where’s Destiny’s Edge??”), see my world (LA!!) in ruins and don’t know why, and everybody says I’m a hero who fought Scarlet, even I have no idea who she is.

I would LOVE to buy story chapters from season 1 if they were made available for gems. I’d probably buy ’em all. Just saying.

Thanks Gaile, but I think I know what the problem is now. My credit card, and by extension PayPal, is being rejected all over the place for unknown reasons. My bank is on the issue. So it’s on my end, not yours.

That thread doesn’t tell me anything. He got charged and received his gems. I got absolutely nothing. Also, it’s not clear from that thread what the OP did to solve his problem.

Event the first Guild Wars did not actually feature the Guild Wars. It took place years later =D

Like others, I’m having issues buying gems. Last week I tried it through PayPal. Told me something went wrong (that white page with red letters telling me to contact support), twice. An hour later both payments went through and I got twice the amount of gems. Oh well, I put them to good use.

But now, it’s worse. I get the bug through PayPal, but my credit card doesn’t work either. That was yesterday. I have still received no gems at all. What’s causing this bug? Is there another way I can get my gems?
