Creepy idea…. I like it!

Now as for the Master of Peace……

Considering how Scarlet’s picture of what she thought was the Eternal Alchemy was infact the Realm of Torment the likelyhood that the Master of Peace is Menzies raises even higher!

The Big Bads of Both GW1 and GW2 are going to clash and chaos will rise!

Modremoth might and since he’s implied by his minions to be tied to the Dream as the darkness Faolain embraced AKA the Nightmare it’s obvious that the Pale Tree might protect against him….

With the Nightmare haunting the Dream and the Pale Tree holding off the Realm of Torment and Menzies who’s hinted to be lurking within the Domain of Anguish the Sylvari have much to be grateful to the Pale Tree for…..

If a Sylvari were to lose the Pale Tree’s protection the Sylvari would be corrupted by Mordremoth immediately followed by mental assaults from Menzies…..

Menzies is likely to be the Big Bad of both this season of the Living Story and the Cantha expansion….

Once he has Mordremoth under control he’s taking him to a Nightfallen Cantha safe from attackers and assail Tyria with his full army including Scarlet’s 3 alliances which he gave her the ideas for despite the fact that she wanted to use them on him…..

They said that the thing in the center was the Pale Tree, right? That was how Scarlet drew it. Does that mean the Pale Tree is located, perhaps in the Mists, between Abaddon’s Gate and the Gate of Torment? Or maybe that’s where the Dream of Dreams is located, as a realm.

In other words Menzies can target Sylvari with his dark will…..

Those tied to the Dream are susceptable without the Pale Tree’s protection….

She’s a stopper against Menzies yet likely not Mordremoth who only targets those who rebel against the Pale Tree.

Once Scarlet’s mind was exposed to the Realm of Torment and bypassed Pale Tree’s protection against it she was susceptible not only to Mordremoth’s immediate corruption(Scarlet changed her name and used Mordremoth’s vines immediately after leaving Omadd’s machine) yet also to Menzies’s mental assaults afterwords….

In all likelyhood if the Master of Peace is infact Menzies then Cantha may already be Nightfallen…..

Pls consider a Non-Sylvari Villian this time

In Abaddon’s case the vines were just large hairs not thorny vines….

Those thorny things in the Domain of Fear, Gate of Fear and Gate of Anguish are insect remains…..

Now Scarlet may have seen the Realm of Torment map as the Eternal Alchemy yet that dosen’t mean Mordremoth is controlling it….

I say it’s proof that the Master of Peace(guy who removed Aerin’s protection against Mordremoth’s corruption) is from the Mists…. Possibly even Menzies the Mad himself…..

If Menzies is behind everything then his goal is obvious: Conquer Tyria through use of the Elder Dragons…..

Mordremoth of course isn’t compliant to the notion of being hijacked by Menzies the Mad naturally and has tried to use both Scarlet(she clearly was corrupted by Mordremoth by the time she drew this drawing by the simple fact that she drew the drawing) and Aerin to kill him and claim his power for himself…..

How many Elder Dragons have been hijacked already by Menzies I wonder…..

Most likely all the ones in Cantha are under his control and maybe he’ll claim Mordremoth as well and bring him to Cantha as his slave….

Maybe Cantha has already merged partly with the Realm of Torment…..

It wouldn’t surprise me if the Master of Peace makes off to Cantha with a brainwashed Mordremoth at the end of Season 2.

If so and Cantha’s villain has 3 or 4 Elder Dragons under his control then what part of Cantha will be Mordremoth’s domain?….

Shing Jea Island has been taken by Lilly Dragons and possibly a Lilly Elder Dragon while Echovald has been taken by forest based Dragons and likely serve the Forest Elder Dragon….

The Jade Sea wouldn’t visually fit….

Eh….. Mordremoth will most likely claim Kaineng City or the mountains east of Kaineng and north of the Jade Sea.

We may wind up with a Gambit Pileup before Season 2 is over….

By the way…. How many times do you think the Master of Peace has attempted to control Elder Dragons?

If there are Elder Dragons in Cantha there is a high chance that he had suceeded with them what he’s attempting on Mordremoth…..

Dragon Lilies that look like Dragons….. Dragon Moss that looks like Moss…. Undergrowth that look like Fern Dragons….

Dragon Lilies appear in Shing Jea Island while Dragon Moss and Undergrowth appear in Echovald Forest….

Could there be Elder Dragons under Shing Jea Island and Echovald Forest?….

Are the other Canthan Dragons Elder Dragon minions?…. Turtle Dragons and Saltspray Dragons look fish-like…. Deep Sea Dragon anyone?….

Hopefully only the Dragons in Echovald Forest and Shing Jea Island get enslaved by the Master of Peace since it would be quite upsetting if the Deep Sea Dragon turned out to be one of his minions too…

If the Master of Peace is so powerful, then he could’ve just destroyed Aerin so easily. What was the point of being chased around by Aerin?

But it would be awesome if the Master of Peace turn out to be Menzies the Dire. I’ve always loved the Musraat as a villain. This would be an awesome way for him to reemerge and bring vengeance. The musraat, being an ancient race, fought the EDs before. They have the most understanding of the EDs and their nature than any sentient races living at the moment. So it is not out of the realm of possibility that they’ve found ways to utilize the magic within dragons. Also, the bloodstone was used as a “battery” that power the prison gates that locked the Titans away. So this can be a cool way to reintroduce the bloodstone.

Many players feel that lore from GW1 were far more interesting and compelling than GW2’s. We left GW1 with a lot of lore unsolved/unfinished. This can be a good way to close some lose ends

You think a powerful villain would expose his powers publicly!?!

I deem he assaulted Scarlet’s mind(she was less intelligent before her war and clearly getting her ideas from the voice in her head which couldn’t be Mordremoth due to it being an organic Elder Dragon) and that she sought to kill him and conspired with her master Mordremoth(her change in personality and obtaining power over thorny vines immediately upon leaving Omadd’s machine make it clear Mordremoth corrupted her then and there) to kill him.

Mordremoth is awakened and clearly realizes the Master of Peace’s power since he sent Aerin to kill him and claim his power….

We know nothing about the Master of Peace’s pawns and allies yet Caithe is a good candidate…. The Canthan Empire is also a candidate as are Scarlet’s three alliances….

If the Master of Peace is the villain what did he do in Cantha?…..

Is it too much to assume that he conquered it while we were fighting Zhaitan and Scarlet Briar?

I think not!

The question will be: Do we kill the Master of Peace in Season 2 or in a Cantha Expansion?

It would be shocking to some if the Master of Peace turns out to be Menzies the Mad….

What is Caithe’s secret that Scarlet knew about?…. Is she allied with the Master of Peace willingly?

Scarlet showed resentment to whatever decided to assail her mind yet wasn’t responsible for Scarlet’s change in personality or change of name(the change in personality happened when she entered Omadd’s Machine indicating that whatever corrupted her initially isn’t what was assailing her mind).

If the Master of Peace assailed Scarlet’s mind and entered into a mutual alliance with Caithe then Tyria is in great danger….

The Master of Peace could use Caithe to reach into Mordremoth through Faolain and control the Elder Dragon through the Dream….

Could he have corrupted other Elder Dragons already?…..

We can’t deny the possibility that there might be Elder Dragons in Cantha and if he’s controlling them then Tyria has multiple threats from one villain….

If he has corrupted Caithe then things will get personal…… Personal enough to make the Master of Peace our Personal Nemesis you might say…..

The Master of Piece could easily gain access to the Inquest and arrange for Scarlet to be exposed to Mordremoth’s influence….

She started calling herself Scarlet Briar since she walked out of Omadd’s device yet was showing signs of arguing with another entity….

I suspect she was first corrupted by Mordremoth then mentally assaulted by the Master of Peace into doing what he wants….

According to Game Designer Antony Ordon: “*I doubt Evon’s interest in the past isn’t entirely…religious.*”

See the double negative there?

The Game Designer is outright hinting that Evon is seeking the Abaddon Fractal for religious reasons!

What’s stopping Evon Gnashblade from summoning Fractal Abaddon to Tyria and bringing Nightfall?

Obviously Kormir might notice if she’s still inside the Realm of Torment(from what we’ve heard of the Gods she most likely isn’t) yet if she’s not(very likely) then Fractal Abaddon could just merge the Realm of Torment with Tyria at will.

[SPOILER AHEAD]

The notes we’ve found in the crash site make me think Aerin became soundless (and used a total makeover kit btw) while INSIDE the ship when it began travelling.

He clearly wasn’t a soundless during the festival. Something changed him along the way.

The injured NPCs in the medic tent in Dry Top actually revealed what happened to Aerin. It seems the Master of Peace tried to put some strange energy into Aerin when they were traveling but the result was Aerin going mad and some kind of strange energy being released from Aerin that the Master of Peace could not control.

Maybe this is a hint that the Master of Peace is the Man Behind the Man?

Perhaps a spellcaster who like Livia who lived for centuries and has attempted to conquer Tyria more than once? The Man behind Zinn’s Golems in GW1 perhaps?

It would be hillarious if he turned out to be Menzies the Mad!

Unless…… He wasn’t a normal person…..

Livia has survived to this time so I don’t see another powerful sorceror living for so long to be unrealistic.

Of course that does broaden the possibilities since the mysterious villain could be just about anybody with a male gender that’s not a Sylvari from the Pale Tree(Sylvari from other trees can be included)….

We can presumably count out Dhuum as well considering he was imprisoned in the Underworld when the mysterious villain tricked Zinn into making assassin golems for him.

We can’t count out Menzies though nor can we count out Palawa Joko or the mysterious Ecclesiate Xun Rao either…..

Anyone from Guild Wars 1 or Guild Wars 2 who is male and not confirmed dead, sealed, Sylvari of the Pale Tree or an ingame Hero is a potential suspect!

Cadeyrn’s Nightmare was bad memories yet Faolain’s Nightmare is likely nothing more than Mordremoth’s will….

Before Shiro is killed for the third time the Canthan Gaurd says that killing him will send his soul to the Mists to be judged.

Is it possible he might be sentenced to the Realm of Torment a second time?

During the quest where you first meet Razakel he states in the form of Terick:

“I’d like to thank you for bringing me this far. I admit I was skeptical you would be so willingly led to your own deaths, but your generosity is your downfall. Your presence here is an affront to my lord, Abaddon! Just as simply as I used that foolish Vizier to wipe Orr from this world, I will use this vessel to eliminate you!”

The use of this vessel is quite telling isn’kitten It implies that he has other vessels and judging from the context of his speech the Lich is also a vessel.

Guess the Lich was a traditional Lich with a Soul Jar after all(with said Soul Jar being Razakel’s true body)!

What’s the likelyhood that Razakel and other Torment Creatures(not including Abaddon’s avatar AKA the Fortune Teller since she needs his mind to exist due to being his avatar and all) will be sentenced to the Realm of Torment again alongside Shiro?

Mickey Frogeater.1470

Why did Mad King Thorn disappear from Tyria for so long only to return on GW2’s first Halloween?

Grenth most likely cracked down on Mad King Thorn’s escape attempts yet why was he allowed out of the Underworld during Shadow of the Mad King and Blood and Madness?

The answer lies with the 3rd part of Shadow of the Mad King….

During the 3rd part Mad King Thorn was about to enter Tyria before Halloween. Why was he able to do that? What about the seals keeping him in the Underworld except on Halloween?

They all broke!……

The letter from Captain Tokk during Halloween itself states that the Mad King had been reigned in and is limited to his ancient curse…. Who reigned him in? Oh yes it was us who reigned him in…. The only reason he’s not visiting Tyria everyday is because he either made an agreement with the Durmand Priory(at least Magister Tassi) and us to to follow only his ancient Halloween curse or we bound with spells to make him follow the rules of said curse.

What’s the likelyhood we might meet some other additions to the Lunatic Court next Halloween? Is Grenth himself a possible character to end up meeting in one of the upcoming Halloweens?

The Undead Elder Dragon causes a Plague of Undeath(of the Zombification kind) that converts the Living and the Dead into Walking Dead/Undead servants while Khilbron has to harvest only the Dead and usually has to do it when close to them.

Zhaitan’s zombies and Khilbron’s zombies(not to be mistaken for his skeleton and Ghost servants) are visually the same yet structurally different in origin: one’s a plague while the other is straight up Necromancy.

Aside from the 2 commonly seen Rotting Zombie types of Undead there are other types of Undead as well:

1: Mummies(wrapped up servants of Mad King Thorn that later betrayed him for Bloody Prince Thorn).

2: Skeletons(seen alongside Khilbron’s rotting zombies and alongside Thorn’s Mummies)

3: Awakened(desiccated Undead like Palawa Joko and his servants)

4: Glow in the Dark Skeletons(servants of Mad King Thorn until Bloody Prince Thorn showed up upon which they switched sides)

Good point! Juggernauts are Demons. Demons of a sort that’s allied with Humans like Grentches and Razah.

http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Total_Corruption shows that the Plants are Demons.

On a related note: Trees and Sylvari’s place as either Demon or natural are ambiguous since we don’t know if Trees are magicborn Demons or if Sylvari are created by Mordremoth and thus Demons.

Terrorwebs aren’t in the ingame Demon family yet have Demonic Fangs for a reason.

The Nightmares of the Underworld have Demonic Remains for a reason. Titans are called Demonic Servants of Abbadon for a reason.

How is that not Demon? We’re treating Elder Dragons as Demons so why should Elementalist created Plants be any different?

Do we even see natural Dragons? We see Drakes yet they have been seen in the Fissure of Woe so for all we know they too are Demons.

Most Plant monsters are called Demons(especially the Ibogas and Jacarandas created by Nightfall) including Urgoz(after going mad with rage after his forest was ruined).

Sylvari, Trees, Juggernauts and Thorn Wolves are the only Plants confirmed to not be Demons(created by Magic or otherwise).

Margonites are Demons incase you forgot. Magically changed beings are all Demons.
