The Flame Legion are not destroyers. They’re charr. Not made of fire and stone. It’s incredibly likely that they will work for the Destroyers though, like they did in GW1. The Flame Legion kind of like powerful things to follow. And if its on fire, even better!
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/File:Champion_Drakin_Cinderspire.jpg
How is that not a Magma-corrupted Charr!?!
Destroyers are the name of Primordus’s minions so if Primordus has secretly(or possibly not so secretly) corrupted Flame Legion Charr then they are Destroyers.
There are also claims that the Legendary Imbued Shaman of the Volcanic Fractal is corrupted by Primordus and thus a Destroyer as well.
We also see Magma corrupted Dredge in the Molten Alliance.
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/File:Veteran_Molten_Shaman.jpg
Also it would seem I spoke too soon about Kralkatorrik’s minions…
What do they talk about? Do normal Risen talk too?
If normal Risen talk then all Dragon minions are like Sylvari yet if they don’t talk then Zhaitan is a unique Elder Dragon…
(edited by Mickey Frogeater.1470)
Excellent choice for an Expansion based on Mordremoth…
Mursaat are perfect!
Lazurus the Dire of course would be leading the enemy faction while the rest would be aiding the Humans of Kryta, the Charr of Ascalon, the Norn and the Asura.
They may even help free the Sylvari from Mordremoth.
Considering how the Sylvari are Mordrem what’s to stop the Flame Legion from being Destroyers?
That would give us three sets of intelligent Dragon Minions: Frostbrood Sons of Svanir, Sylvari and Flame Legion.
The Sons of Svanir retain their minds even after becoming Frostbrood… The notion of Dragon Minions with their own minds does seem to be fact…
As far as I know the only Elder Dragon that is confirmed to have mindless minions only are Kralkatorrik.
Are Zhaitan’s minions mindless or are they intelligent?
Kralkatorrik’s mind is a hurricane of Crystal sand so he has an explanation for having only mindless minions with the exception of his Champions(the largest being his sole Lieutenant the Shatterer) at least.
Kralkatorrik seems to be an act of nature while the rest are cunning villains scheming for world domination, world destruction or the genocide of life depending on the Elder Dragon…
There’s also the fact that the Flame Legion Charr have Magma-like alterations on their bodies that no other Charr have….
For all we know they may be no different from the Sylvari: Dragon Minions that don’t even know it!
When Primordus makes his big appearence he is most likely going to take complete control of the Flame Legion and corrupt any other Charr in the area causing Rytlock AKA the one claiming the Sylvari are not to be trusted due to belonging to Mordremoth to have the most amusing expression on his face in reaction to this ironic event.
The Dragon Minion hybrids created by the Inquest obey the Inquest itself so whatever they’ve done makes them their Dragon Minions.
Any attempts to corrupt Mordremoth’s Minions results in Mordremoth killing them leaving only maggots to climb out of the remains.
Sever the Dragon’s connection to the corruption and the minion dosen’t die from cross corruption.
The expression on each Elder Dragon’s face when Kudu severed the connections of each of them must have been priceless.
Malyck might be a descendant of Ewan’s tribe of Humans turned Plants by Melandru for all we know….
This might explain certain Sylvari’s reactions to him.
Hopefully Malyck is what I and others suspect and aids us with the help of other members of Ewan’s tribe against Mordremoth in the final battle of Heart of Thorns.
Let’s remember that Mordremoth is Plants and Mind.
Of course his Mordrem are all intelligent and have hierarchy as seen with the generals of Vinewrath the Dragon Champion.
I dare say even the Mordrem Wolves have brains and make plans….
We may also see Mordremoth taking command of the Toxic Alliance, Aetherblades and the Molten Alliance.
Aetherblades and Molten Alliance will probably be Mordrem like the Toxic Krait and all Sylvari are next time we see them.
Now considering how the obvious choice in all of Tyria’s mysteries is constantly the real one with the exception of the Eternal Alchemy cutscene’s mystery we must conclude that the nature of the Dragon-like Plants in Cantha’s true nature is also the obvious one:
The Dragon Lillies, Dragon Mosses and Underbrushes are all Mordrem(not surprising considering how Thorn Wolves have been seen in both the Nightmare and in Echovald Forest).
If Rytlock usurped Kormir then I would like to see the expression on Evon Gnashblade’s face when he finds out.
Said expression could reveal whether Evon worships Abaddon or not.
Arenanet did hint that Evon’s interest in the Abaddon Fractal was religious…..
Let’s hope we don’t get an Afflicted Elder Dragon of Death and Shadow version of Kuunavang next…. And believe me it is possible considering Odgen’s theory that Elder Dragons can be replaced and the fact that the Am Fah worship the Affliction and can turn people into the Afflicted with the Chalice of Corruption even after Shiro has been killed.
Considering that Kuunavang was the first to be hit with the Affliction and how the Am Fah worship said Affliction we should hope that they never get the idea to restore Kuunavang to Afflicted state.
We also don’t know who tricked Zinn into creating the rGolems that attacked Jenna, the Emperor and the 3 Princes.
There are theories yet nothing definate….
The villain could have it out for the 3 kingdoms as a whole(in which case it could be either Menzies, a Demon, the Nameless Lich, a minion of an Elder Dragon, a disguised Oola wanting to discredit Zinn, a random anarchist, a random democrat or a random power hungry tyrant) or be the enemy of just one kingdom and targeting the all three as a smokescreen(in which case it could be either a Mursaat, a White Mantle, the mysterious Xun Rao, a time traveling Blood Legion Charr, or Palawa Joko).
Any theories what each of the areas look like?
I can assume that Not Real is a Chaos Magic effected land….
Thunder Cove most likely has Thunderstorms at all times…
Forsaken Cliffs most likely are dark and creepy…
Olympus is most likely Greek…
Wetland is obviously all Wetlands…
Hownling Peninsula is most likely windy….
Arid is eithera Saguaro Cactus Desert to contrast the Maguuma Wastes(which has Prickly Pear Cacti) and the Crystal Desert(which has no Cacti at all) or a dry mountainous region….
Dawn is most likely bright and beautiful….
Foundry is most likely a factory….
Icy Tundra and Frozen Gulley are most likely the same as the Shiverpeaks…
No idea on what Furious Stretch is like….
The Isles of Janthir are mostly black rock judging from the GW 1 map….
The Sunken Isles would most likely be tropical and filled with ruins….
No idea on what Yeh and Gwen look like though it’s now obvious what the girl from Guild Wars Prophecies was named after….
Kim and Dahye judging from the names are Canthan just like the Battle Isles are….
Wonder what they look like….
The Deep Sea Dragon has an S in his name and since *S*hing Jea Island must be named after something so I would assume his name is Shing Jea…..
What’s more I think his corruption involves lillies(why else do Shing Jea’s Dragon Lilies look like Dragons) and vine-like tentacles.
Perhaps the Elder Dragon’s name is….. Shing Jea?…..
It has an S in it and as for not matching the Largos’s language: Do you honestly believe that the Elder Dragons didn’t name themselves!?!
(edited by Mickey Frogeater.1470)
There’s also the Dragons in Shing Jea Isle, Echovald Forest and the Jade Sea….
If Echovald Forest and the Jade Sea aren’t regaining their original states due to the Dwayna empowered Jade Wind wearing off(the fact that Zephyrites have Jade implies that the Jade Wind isn’t wearing off) then in all likelyhood it’s because a lesser Dragon is feeding off the Magic of those areas to become Elder Dragons.
The death of Zhaitan and Mordremoth may be setting up Jade and Forest Elder Dragons ascension
Glint’s child is a crystal Dragon and considering how it’s alterations of the Maguuma Wastes may differ from Kralkatorrik due to the fact that the crystals made from Glint’s remaining magic were green and thus her child’s Dragonbrand corruption may also be green.
Of course considering the Am Fah’s obsession with using the Chalice of Corruption to create Afflicted the chances of a Dragon absorbing that magic and becoming an Plague Elder Dragon is a small possibility.
Green Crystal Elder Dragon(Air and Crystal), Jade Elder Dragon(Jade and Life), Echovald Forest Elder Dragon(Plant and Stone) and a Plague Elder Dragon(Soul and Shadow) seem to be big candidates…
I had a lot of fun… but I have one BIG worry.
It all felt forced. Fan-service. I’m afraid this was their way of silencing the whining GW1 fans – and NOT a trend that will continue.
I’m not sure what’s the issue. Could you please explain? Even if it were to appease players…what’s the downside?
He’s worried that they may stop after appeasing the GW1 fans once.
I say they should continue appeasing them.
Mamnoon Lagoon has lovely plants that I would love to see in GW2…. In other words the Mamnoon Lagoon seen on the map must be ingame and not dried up like the Silverwastes was!…..
That lake on the map that gets erased as players explore Silverwastes isn’t Mamnoon Lagoon itself is it?….
I am well aware that the Crystal Desert is not in Maguuma I was merely comparing the 2 as deserts.
As I have mentioned both are unique deserts and as such I would love to see the Crystal Desert in Guild Wars 2 and see what it looks like and what maginificance it holds!
The old version of Maguuma Wastes(which reminds me of the Badlands of WoW) seems quite different from the Guild Wars 2 Maguuma Wastes(less orange and more sand).
Jormag’s sphere is Power and Ice not Mind and Ice.
He corrupts through promises of Power rather than corrupting the Mind through sheer mental superiority like Mordremoth.
Kralkatorrik’s sphere is Crystal and Earth.
Primordus’s sphere is Lava and Destruction.
Zhaitan’s sphere is Death and Darkness.
Considering the Ghost’s of Fort Salma’s similarity to the Foefire Ghosts we should ask: Just what was Magdaer and Sohothin forged from?
If an Elder Dragon was capable of pulling the same trick as those swords complete with the same requirement to end the curse(relative returns with the sword of the leader or a close relative to the leader of the ghosts) simply by killing all the inhabitants than Magdaer and Sohothin seem suspiciously like Elder Dragon weapons….
May explain why Jormag’s Breath looks like an icy version of both swords…
The Dragon’s Lair looks very different from what it was in the first Guild Wars.
I had to check the wikia to make sure that the Dragonbrand didn’t resemble the Dragon’s Lair….
The Dragon’s Lair looks even more crystaline than before and it already looked more crystaline than the Dragonbrand.
Maguuma Wastes looks like a massive canyon in both of it’s zones….
Quite different from the Crystal Desert in the first Guild Wars.
The last story instance? It’s old GW1 track, Crystal Oasis
Fitting since there’s palm trees in part of the Silverwastes….
Thor wasn’t Loki’s half-brother nor was Odin ever Loki’s father.
Loki and Odin mixed blood together and thus hold a blood bond.
Loki is full Jotun yet classed among the Æsir due to his blood mixing with Odin.
Zhaitan’s Orb is bubbling sickly poison green while Mordremoth seems to have a color scheme similar to the Maguuma Jungle(patches of green and patches of brown).
Faolain may have not been fully corrupted in Orr(as Koing stated her corruption was completed by Cadeyrn) she did meet the Nightmare there so the likelyhood of his consciousness entering the Dream of Dreams on death is another possibility I’ve just realized.
If Zhaitan is inside the Dream and controlling the Nightmare then we’ll most likely have a rematch with him.
The question will be: Will we kill him Deader than Dead before or after Mordremoth?….
Also the Green Orb/Zhaitan unleashed black energy with a green glow in the center.
If that black energy is infact the Nightmare than we must wonder what Mordremoth’s full corruption of Sylvari looks like(Aerin and Scarlet’s corruption wasn’t fully visible) though I do have ideas(Toxic Courtiers)…….
Faolain looked withered and and decayed. Most likely what a Sylvari looks like when fully turned into a Risen(judging from Scarlet and Aerin most Sylvari don’t get corrupted to the point where it’s visible which would explain why the Nightmare Court looks normal).
I just noticed that Zhaitan and Mordremoth are switched between the cinematic and the ceiling design.
M is where the black orb is; Z is where the green orb is.
In other words it was Zhaitan that merged with the central orb(supposed to be the Pale Tree).
Zhaitan is dead and considering how Faolain turned Nightmare in Orr….
Could she be the new Dragon of Death/Undeath? Could we have just handed the Nightmare Court the power of Zhaitan on a golden platter!?!
Expansions would be nice…. Especially a Realm of Torment expansion……
Of course if such an expansion were to keep the Domain of Pain, Domain of Anguish and the Depths of Madness it would likely get an M rating….. Especially since there wouldn’t be other zones in the way of the Rating board’s playthrough this time since they will literally start in the Realm of Torment rather than Elona…..
I would like adventures in Maguuma Jungle, Crystal Desert, Shing Jea Island, Kaineng City, Echovald Forest, the Jade Sea, the Desolation, the Domain of Pain, the Domain of Fear, the Domain of Secrets, the Domain of Anguish(redesigned to look more like the Gate of Anguish) and the Depths of Madness….
I also want Mad King Thorn’s Mad Little Ponies involved in the Realm of Torment adventures….. Excluding Mister Gumdrops of course!
Scarlet claimed Mordremoth was taking credit for her ideas for his own…..
Considering Ceara being clearly less intelligent than Scarlet I would say Mordremoth did give Scarlet her ideas despite her claims….
I don’t think any of the other Elder Dragons exploited the Waypoints like Mordremoth did….
Jormag seems to be a cunning manipulator who sways others with promises of power…. And he exploits the portals into the Mists indicating that he is like a sorceror in mentality….
Zhaitan seems like a military general on the level of Vizier Khilbron….. I have yet to see his Risen inventing machinery…..
Primordus seems beastial…..
Kralkatorrik we know little about in terms of intelligence due to him focusing on exacting revenge on Glint and wanting perfection…… His strategies are an enigma considering he’s licking his wounds currently….. Once he is done we may learn his style of conquest….
As for the Flameseeker Prophecies….. “Shiverpeaks will be covered with blood” sounds way to similar to the Depths of Madness in Nightfall….
Are we even sure that all the prophecies will be fufilled at the same time!?!
The release of the Titans would of course inadvertantly cause Nightfall to happen to the Shiverpeaks if they weren’t stopped so did we just avert the last part of the Flameseeker Prophecies or are Dhuum, Menzies and the remainder of Abaddon’s armies destined to turn the Shiverpeaks into blood stained mountains of Madness!?!
Or was that part of the prophecy talking about Nightfall?…. According to quests and lore Abaddon’s realm was already merging with Tyria by the time we killed him…. Could the Shiverpeaks have merged with the Depths of Madness at this time?….
As others have stated we didn’t tell the Pale Tree what Dragon we saw so obviously she misinterpreted which Dragon it represented until we recognized the Shadow of the Dragon upon seeing it….
If we had told her that it was a Jungle based Dragon we fought she would have realized we were destined to fight Mordremoth’s Dragon Champion!
She believes had she interacted with him differently, the Nightmare Court never would have formed and not only would the sylvari race be free from their blight, but Faolain would never have fallen to Nightmare (whether or not the Nightmare Court was inevitable in some form or another is debatable).
Even without Cadeyrn forming the court, Faolain (and Caithe) would still have encountered “a darkness”, so it’s possible that Faolain would have founded the court, or something like it, anyway.
Edit: I imagine that the nightmare court is as inevitable as the winter court on which it is based; as inevitable as winter itself.
While it’s clear that Caithe blames herself, it’s also implied in the stories that both Caderyn and Faolain chose their own paths, and have no one to blame but themselves.
That Darkness was encountered at Orr…. That means either the Shadow of the Dragon was paying a visit to Orr and corrupted her or Zhaitan turned Faolain into a Risen yet couldn’t make her his minion due to the Pale Tree’s protection…
Protection that likely turned into kill the corrupted Sylvari so that the Pale Tree wouldn’t have to deal with a repeat of Faolain….
- What is Mordremoths goal?*
Does he have one beside feasting? Are his attacks planned, or just the signs of his awakening? Was he guided to the World summit? Who are his allies? Mordremoth in general is still a big mystery.
An interesting question considering Mordremoth’s intelligence…
What we do know of Mordremoth:
-1
Considering his exploitation of the Waypoints and his feeding Scarlet those ingenius plans and his turning Aerin from a knife user into a bomb user Mordremoth seems to be the smartest of the Elder Dragons…..
-2
He controls Jungle Flora…. And yes it is Jungle Flora rather than Plants in general since there is clearly no coniferous tree based minions nor any minions with similarities to Dragon Lillies from Shing Jea Isle or even Echovald Forest’s dozens of Stonescale Kirin and Forest Dragons(Undergrowth and Dragonmoss). This of course may be subject to change since we have only recently seen his minions…
-3
Our first encounter with his minions featured his understanding and mastery over the concepts of Technology while the second encounter showed his power over the Jungle Flora…. He’s clearly an Elder Dragon who is a master of both Jungle Flora and Technology! A deadly combination……
-4
He’s also the boss of the Shadow of the Dragon
-5
He appears to be behind the Nightmare Hounds judging from their similarities to Overgrown Hounds though that’s unsurprising considering how the Nightmare Court’s methods of torturing Sylvan Hounds against the Pale Tree likely strips them of her protection against Elder Dragons which would most likely cause instant corruption into a Mordrem much like what happened to Scarlet when she severed her connection to the Pale Tree….
The Nightmare Court’s similarities to Mordrem may be tied to Nightmare Hounds…..
Nightmare Hounds start out as Nightmare Pups and use the Nightmare Hound model instead of the Sylvan Hound model…..
Apparently these Nightmare Pups use the Nightmare Hound model even before being tortured into the Nightmare’s service……
I’m going to assume that the Nightmare Court finds random Mordrem and tortures them into their service with the help of necessary rituals and uses Mordremoth’s corruption to make it easier to torture Sylvari into their schemes…..
The insane Nightmare Courtiers are likely Mordrem converted Sylvari tortured into Faolain’s service(they may have even been born Mordrem) while the saner Nightmare Courtiers are normal Sylvari that joined Faolain and want the Pale Tree to accept reality.
What Faolain is is unknown….. She was corrupted by a darkness at Orr inside the Dream….. Caithe thinks it was the Nightmare…..
I believe that Faolain was corrupted into a Risen yet had her free will restored by the Pale Tree….
If I am right than the Nightmare Court has Normal Sylvari(the sane ones), Toxic Sylvari(Toxic Alliance), Mordrem Sylvari(the insane ones) and 1 Risen Sylvari(the leader)…..
The fur looks wolflike and it’s paws and body looks more wolf-like than Sylvan Hound-like……
Wait…. was that wink a sign that you were making a joke!?!
Mordremoth has access to the Dream from what we have seen and likely has been influenced by what he has seen in it…. To only corrupt plant based beings and dogs…..
Flame Legion clearly command Primordus’s corruption or at least did in Eye of the North…….
Mordrem Wolves have fur…. Nightmare Hounds do not…..
Mordremoth clearly has been influenced by the Dream……
He is now a dog lover……
Mordremoth likes dogs….. He may have been inspired by the Nightmare Court’s corruption of the Sylvan Hounds…..
Would explain why he creates his own Nightmare Hounds out of nothing…..
Mordremoth only corrupts Sylvari and dogs….. They inspire him…… for other minions he creates them the same way Primordus creates most of his minions….. By directly shaping the element he uses into the shape he wants….. Including dogs……. Especially dogs!
And despite your theory, other than shared textures of plant creatures, other than the Nightmare giving the Shadow form, there was no support or reason to believe it but several NPCs’ words against it. Just because it got retconned in your favor, doesn’t mean it wasn’t a retcon.
“Other than this evidence you just gave, there is no evidence that what you are saying is correct” is what I got from that.
Then I worded that poorly, or you misunderstood what I was saying. Let me try again:
Aside from the singular piece of evidence which is based solely off of appearance – something that has very poor standing – there is no further evidence for your previous theory. In other words, you had no strong evidence, and the only thing you had could be used to argue similarities between two other groups that are known not to hold relations (e.g., the in-universe argument of a grawl/charr connection; or how charr effigies and the Imbued Shaman from Fractals uses shared textures – because, you know, they’re on fire).
In short: your theory which you use to base this not being a retcon, was never a very well supported theory.
Ok, I’ll humour you, why not? I’ll tell you: we know the origin of the charr effigies, and we know the origin of the Destroyers, and since there’s nothing that links either of those. We know the origin of the Shadow of the Dragon (Mordrem), but we don’t know the origins of the husks. So a similarity in appearance is reason enough to consider a link between the two. What other husks are there? There’s the Evolved Husk, which is almost certainly a Mordremoth minon, and the Mordrem Husks, which are almost identical in appearance to the other husks. And that’s just the appearance; there’s several other reasons to believe that the husks are all Mrordrem.
Actually, until this update we did not know the origin of the Shadow of the Dragon, per se, but you held that theory of relation to Flametouched Husks because of the shared yellow-glow in a plant body.
You are now arguing the similarity between husks and the Shadow based on current evidence, not the evidence pre-reveal, which is what my point was about.
Furthermore, we technically do not know the origin of Flame Legion effigies aside from “flame legion magic” – now I ask you this: where does Flame Legion magic come from?
Last I saw it came from the Destroyers in Eye of the North……
I’d say that Charr tap into Primordus’s power yet control it….. Just as Zhepyrites tap into Glint’s magic which originates from Kralkatorrik and control that…..
They may have needed to preform rituals to keep sane of course……
Of course by your original reasoning of texture similarities I’m surprised you haven’t gone to say that the charr effigies use Primordus’ power, since it’s fire/heat textures are like the destroyers and Imbued Shaman.
Charr Effigies were created by Flame Legion who had at one time worshipped Destroyers…..
Them being created from Primordus’s power wouldn’t be surprising(infact I thought they were created from the Destroyers’ power).
About long life, devs have said that it’s entirely possible to use magic to prolong your life, and they made no indications that it required specific artifacts. Yes, the scepter of Orr might’ve helped Livia do it, but I doubt it’s the only reason.
If that’s the case than Emperor Usoku may still be alive and a major boss!
Mordrem Wolves are NOT twisted Sylvan Hounds. If you look at the model, you’ll see that the main body of Modrem Wolves are in fact furred corpses. Where the spine should normally be, the flesh got torn asunder and vines/roots grew into the body – and you can see bulges down the legs in the same thickness as those vines/roots. Said vines/roots also grew around the spine and skull, with the flower forming at the skull’s base.
Mordrem Wolves by all appearances are corpses being puppeteered by a flower. See attachment of a dead wolf on the ground at the end of The World Summit (there’s two Mordrem Wolves and a Mordrem Husk lying on the ground after leaving the Omphalos Chamber for ease of study).
The Mordrem Wolves being different from Overgrown Hounds could mean that Overgrown Hounds are a direct creation of Mordremoth out of plants while Mordrem Wolves are wolfs corrupted by Mordremoth rather than just being spawned by him.
That argument is rather silly to my mind. You may as well slap the druids in there as well, and then compare Embers and Flame Legion to Primordus.
As for slapping Druids in as Elder Dragon Minions they were made in Maguuma Jungle….. Of course if Druids are the result of Mordremoth’s magic than Melandru would have had to absorb that magic just as the Elder Dragon was spewing it out during it’s sleep….
Unlikely….
Retcon that made the Shadow of the Dragon our Archnemesis!
Either way it was the Sylvari players’ Wyld Hunt and as such was their Archnemesis from the beginning!
If the Pale Tree dies than the Sylvari players would want one thing: Revenge!
At long last we shall meet our Personal Nemesis and it is one Sylvari players have been destined to face since meeting his incomplete avatar in the Dream…..
The Shadow of the Dragon was seen in the Dream and was merely an avatar of the real one……
It would seem the Dragon Champion is our Personal Nemesis which ArenaNet spoke of….
The Pale Tree says she’s fading so if she dies than the Shadow of the Dragon has made it personal for the Sylvari characters…..
In all likelyhood he will attack other close friends…..
Either Faren, Jenna or Anise for the Humans…..
Someone important for Norn…..
Another someone important for Asura…..
And Rytlock Brimstone for Charr…..
Our archnemesis and it’s one who’s Dream avatar was slain by our Sylvari characters….
The Crystal Desert was the Crystal Sea before Abaddon’s downfall…..
I’m merely stating that the Crystal Sea was created by Glint only to be turned into the Crystal Desert by Abaddon’s maelstrom evaporating the water.
It looked more similar to the Chaos Crystal Caverns than a Bloodstone….. The City above the cavern isn’t any I’ve seen in Ascalon either…. Must be the heart of the Maguuma Wastes…..
Kralkatorrik’s old territory is my theory of where this is…. Mursaat may be ruling this city…..
I suspect the crystals represent Kralkatorrik’s corruption which would mean that the Maguuma Wastes’ desert-like state isn’t an accident but is infact another Crystal Desert….
One created by Kralkatorrik himself during the last time he was awake….
I theorize that the Crystal Desert/Sea was the result of Glint moving to a sea north of Elona and corrupting said sea.
Considering how Kralkatorrik moved from the Blood Legion Homelands to the Crystal Desert easily when he wanted to execute Glint for her treason it shouldn’t be surprising that he could move from the lake at the center of the Maguuma Wastes straight to the Blood Legion Homelands.
having read what the pale tree says to sylvari PCs…
come on. i know sylvaris would get extra fluff, but it feels like most of the things i’d expect to hear from her are exclusive to a single race :/
I’m hoping they redeem this by having her go into more detail during the Summit. That would make up for it and I’d be ok but as it were, yes – the player, if belonging to another race, ends up getting shafted.
How would you react if it turned out we were duped by an imposter seeking to kill off all of Tyria’s rulers in one fell swoop?
