And here is an interesting possibility that may put things into an shocking perspective:

Lazarus is revived yet the Lazarus we saw is a fraud with his own ambitions(and someone Marjory knows AKA Mr. E).

The real Lazarus could be plotting against Humanity while the fake has his own ambitions to protect the Dragon.

As Sherlock Holmes stated: “Once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth.”

We must consider all possibilities including this possibility as well as the possibility that Fake Lazarus is Menzies the Mad as shocking it may seem!

Thanks Randulf.

Mordremoth is a complex entity. Only the “Avatar” form of the Jungle Dragon has legs and a tail (as encountered in the personal story “Hearts and Minds”). There is a great screenshot of that by ThisIsIsi (from the German wiki) as seen on p49 of the Lore Book.

The Mouth of Mordremoth, rooted near the Heart of Thorns, has a long serpentine body without wings, completely covered in vines and foliage. No legs as far as I can tell.

In addition, Mordremoth can twist vines and branches to create many faces / shapes (as seen in videos, cut-scenes and concept art). That’s why Canach and Trahearne referred to Mordremoth as “the jungle itself”.

Primordus was clearly part of the lava he was embedded in if the art of him is any indication. Sources call Kralkatorrik a Sandstorm with the ability to become one and also call Jormag a Blizzard.

Zhaitan’s corruption is Death and Shadow magic and thus his body is that of an amalgamation of Undead Dragons.

Does Mordremoth absorb Zhaitan's magic?

[…] if this is how magic works for Elder Dragons, there’s no reason to believe it doesn’t work like that concerning the gods either.

And much like the Elder Dragons they are able of corruption. Unlike the ED though, the human gods don’t force their corruption over unwilling beings, they instead spread it to those who showed and proved them particular devotion, as a reward; for example: Grenth’s Seven Reapers or even Abaddon’s margonites.

With that in mind I’m wondering what Magic corruption created the Afflicted and the Jade Wind. Affliction corruption looks quite different from Zhaitan’s Death and Shadow Magic combination…

Let’s hope we get to see more Zones in the Maguuma Jungle. We still haven’t seen The Wilds, Sage Lands or Tangle Root yet despite encountering the other Zones in the Maguuma Jungle.

Silverwood became Verdant Brink and western Silverwastes and Mamnoon Lagoon became eastern Silverwastes.

Half of Aurora Glade is in Brisban Wildlands with the other half being part of Dry Top along with Ettin’s Back(while the Dry Top Zone from GW1 doesn’t appear).

The Falls is part of Auric Basin and the Reed Bog is part of Tangled Depths.

Bloodstone Fen is still called Bloodstone Fen though it now has a lot of red crystals due to the events of Season 3.

The Wilds, Sage Lands and Tangle Root were the 3 most magical of the Maguuma Jungle Zones found in Guild Wars Prophecies! They need to appear.

in Lore

Mickey Frogeater.1470

As for Palawa Joko. His conquest of Elona was blatantly mentioned as being an act of revenge against Mad King Thorn for humiliating him during those Halloweens on GW1.

When Palawa Joko said “Curse you, Thorn! I’m going to…” the Mad King specifically retorted “Yes, yes. Flood valleys, enslave nations. I’ve heard all of it before. I’d like to see you try!”

The Elona Expansion will only have us face Palawa Joko when Mad King Thorn starts humiliating him again forcing us to ally with the Mad King to get rid of Palawa Joko. Either that or Mad King Thorn himself will be the villain of the Elona Expansion.

The only plot point tied to Elona right now is Palawa Joko, Kralkatorrik and Mad King Thorn. Kralkatorrik is in recovery, Palawa Joko is content with his victory and Mad King Thorn might antagonize Joko as early as next Halloween if we are really unlucky.

Obviously Spoilers: Deroir did a small video recap of the first raid wing’s lore, plus some of his own speculation what the information given could hint at.

So it seems that a bunch of Souls can just combine and become an Elder Dragon of Souls is what this guy is implying.

I would assume that Zhaitan was the result of combining a bunch of Bone Dragons together and we all know that the members of that species of Dragon are all Necromancers explaining the power of Death and Darkness.

With the White Mantle’s experiments the possibility that an Elder Dragon of Souls can come into existence has gone higher(how high I do not know considering we don’t even know how far the experiment has gone and whether it is intended to create a Elder Dragon slave for Lazarus the Dire or to empower him).

Mickey Frogeater.1470

Basically Mordremoth is the Elder Dragon of Mind while the beastial Mouth of Mordremoth or should I call it the Maguuma Jungle is the Elder Dragon of Plants.

The Maguuma Jungle consumes Magic yet needs Mordremoth to retain it due to being a beast and a full fledged force of nature unlike the other Elder Dragons.

By destroying the Elder Dragon of Mind we left the magic consumed by the Elder Dragon of Plants nowhere to go thus releasing it back into Tyria to be consumed by 4 sources(one being Glint’s Egg).

Without Mordremoth the Maguuma Jungle is no threat to the world but a mere nuisance(aside from preventing the remnants of the Pact and Nightmare Court from securing Dragon’s Stand). His minions are either animals or free to become Sylvari again.

We have removed the cycle that Mordremoth put into place in the Maguuma Jungle(the one that has the jungle alternate between lush jungle and inhospitable desert).

They are obssessed with polluting the Dream of Dreams to free the Sylvari from Ventari’s tablet which is why most of them are torturing other people.

Mordremoth is even worse than the tablet to their minds and thus they fight him more than any Sylvari.

The Nightmare Court vary in insanity though the most insane members are completely brainwashed by Faolain or other Mesmers in the Nightmare Court(and just to inform you: Faolain was insane even before she embraced the Nightmare’s pollution of the Dream into herself).

Some in the Nightmare Court are sane like Gavin for example.

The only thing all Nightmare Courtiers have in common is the desire to be free from Ventari’s tablet. They never give up on this desire ever due to their Dark Hunts forced into their being upon being turned by the other Courtiers.

Wyld Hunts have an extremely strong pull on a Sylvari drawing them to complete it to the point of obssession yet is rare for a Sylvari to get a Wyld Hunt. Dark Hunts on the other hand are given to all Nightmare Courtiers and are just as strong as Wyld Hunts thus keeping the Nightmare Courtiers from ever leaving.

The Nightmare’s master is likely a Raid Boss(most likely as a giant Guild Wars 1 style Nightmare or Shadow Army style soldier).

It was rushed because Mordremoth focused on bringing the leaders of our armies directly to him when he could have sent them to the Reed Bog and be safe.

Rata Novus only revealed that each Elder Dragon’s weakness was unique which gave us the logic we needed to target Mordremoth’s mind.

Mordremoth underestimated both the Heart and Mind of the Pact and died for it.

The final part was rushed because Mordremoth didn’t pay any attention to the fact that we just discovered he had a unique weakness(he can access Canach’s head even if he can’t control him and thus could see and hear what he did) and just straight up brought Zojia, Logan and Trehearne to Mordremoth’s very lair bringing about his demise when we went to rescue them.

Mordremoth didn’t take us seriously at all. He even mocked us right when we were about to give the final blow thinking we would be unwilling to kill Trehearne. Mordremoth underestimated our Minds more than he underestimated our Hearts.

Magus Falls in this game looks very similar to Ferngully from the film of the same name(Mamnoon Lagoon on other hand has it’s own seperate look which should be described as a medieval fantasy jungle what with it’s mystical waters and blue grey ground which I still miss seeing).

Funny how Manoon Lagoon and Silverwood had the water in them drunk up by Mordremoth’s vines leaving the Silverwastes. I also think he drunk up most of the lakes in The Falls as well(is there no water on his massive body that that glutton consumes?).

Also, I wouldn’t call the skies above Arah “confined”. (lots of stuff wrong with that fight, but scale was not one of those things)

I’ll rephrase since you;re right. The direct interaction is confined since you are involved only on the final cannon phase.

I have seen no mouth or body at all in the story. Is that part of the map meta I hear about? I’ve seen no one doing it yet so I haven’t been a part of that.

Yes it’s part of the meta event in Dragon’s Stand. Mordremoth’s body is the Jungle because Elder Dragon’s are supposed to be a force of nature. Being literally the whole Maguuma Jungle is infact being a force of nature.

Kralkatorrik literally became a sandstorm in the Edge of Destiny book so Mordremoth literally being a Jungle with a Dragon head attached rather than an ordinary Dragon isn’t surprising.

Considering that ArenaNet released Dry Top and Silverwastes before this Expansion I would hope that the other Zone appears before the next Expansion comes up(within Maguuma Wastes of course).

Also: are Alcazia Tangle and Sanctum Kay supposed to be the Tarnished Coast? They made the Maguuma Wastes and Magus Falls into ingame Regions so I would assume that the Tarnished Coast would be a Region alongside Steamspur Mountains(Maguuma Wastes had 1 Zone when it was first released so why can’t Steamspur Mountains be a 1 Zone Region between Mount Maelstrom, Sparkfly Fen and Timberline Falls?).

The Raids aren’t even released yet so we won’t see the full story until they are. The Magic of Mordremoth has gone in four directions with one going into Glint’s Egg. Malyk’s tree, the Man behind Zinn’s Golems and the Mursaat are still to be resolved and the Raids might very well resolve all 3 of these plot points better than Trahearne, Destiny’s Edge and Rata Novus. Hopefully Trahearne’s death is the end of the death for character developments style melodrama.

If Kormir dies her death must be caused by the only character in GW1 who complained about her ascendancy: Mad King Thorn. No need to make it sad and melodramatic(and make sure the Mad King is personally involved in the fight and actually the one tanking her and dealing the final blow before hijacking her) since we already had enough of that.

Arena Net writers are fans of inception.

I actually kind of liked this ending. I got more Tybalt. And the kill traeherne people have finally been sated. The only thing I didn’t like was getting patched out of the game while the Egg cutscene finished and forcibly reloaded, so I hope nothing happened after that.

(Did something happen after that?) :(((

Trahearne’s death went well and could have been done worse: They could have had the player rant about Trahearne grievances towards him(including but not limited to: being given a sword that should have been the player’s, becoming leader of the Pact instead of the player and reducing the player to errand boy) before killing him.

By giving him a said ending they appeased the Trahearne haters and didn’t offend his lovers worse then was necessary. Kormir doesn’t have as many lovers so having one of the characters rant over her stealing his or her thunder before offing her would most likely. Bonus points if the usurper of Kormir’s position of Godhood is Mad King Thorn himself since he was the first ingame character in GW1 to rant about Kormir’s unfair ascendancy.

The Mouth of Mordremoth was a Dragon Champion large enough to serve as Mordremoth’s top Champion and serve as Mordremoth’s own avatar in the physical world while he himself lurks in the Dream serving as the mind of the Mouth of Mordremoth which can regenerate as long as Mordremoth lives in the Dream.

I’d like to chime in that I just saw the world boss / event in the final zone and…

I’m satisfied now! Because Mordremoth does, in fact, have a large jungledragon-esque body he was in control of. In the personal story we basically killed his brain, while his body was “everywhere” else, including the giant world boss. The real Mordremoth fight occurs in the final zone, IMO.

I also like to think the two fights are happening at the same time – pact vs his body, player vs his brain. It would explain why he seemed distracted.

The fight against the Mouth of Mordremoth is no different from the fight against the Mouth of Zhaitan who is just a Dragon Champion and not Zhaitan himself. Of course it’s logical for an Elder Dragon to have it’s Mouth type Champion funnel the Magic it’s devoured into the part of the Dream where Mordremoth’s real body is located since the Mouths of Zhaitan are next to Zhaitan’s lair in Arah.

Trahearne’s death was obviously fan service to the people who complained about his being like Kormir and wanted him dead. Of course considering the complaints about Kormir who wants to assume that Kormir herself is going to die in a later Expansion?

Trahearne dies.

Because Mordremoth’s true form left a copy of his mind inside him while we fought it in the part of the Dream overlapping Dragon’s Stand thus forcing us to personally kill him.

The ancient Drake(he’s alot like a bipedal version of the Drakes in Elona which is why I call him one) hid in the Dream while using the Mordrem like an avatar from the saftey of his sanctum in said Dream.

In the end he himself wasn’t asleep but his corruption was. His corruption centralized where the part of Tyria overlapped with his true body in the Dream and started spreading when Magic reached it.

Killing Mordremoth’s true form and killing the last fragment of his mind released all of his Magic from the center of his corruption and it seems to have split into four magic streams that are being absorbed by various beings(3 of which are almost certainly Raid Bosses with the forth being the new Elder Dragon hatching from Glint’s Egg).

Elder Dragons rival the Gods in power so facing a Demigod in a Raid before facing a whole Elder Dragon in face to face combat in another Raid is alot more logical than you think.

We first fought Zhaitan using a massive ship rather than attack him directly then fought Mordremoth’s mind/true form in the dream directly with 3 people so from there we must directly fight in a Raid something more powerful than Mordremoth’s mind yet weaker than an actual Elder Dragon’s body and the only thing that matches that description is a Demigod like Menzies rather than an a actual God like Dhuum.

Mordremoth was merely the villain of the single player story. The villain of the Raids is coming up next and he’s been planning longer than Mordremoth and gathering some of Mordremoth’s Magic just like Glint’s Egg.

Just finished the final story mission and overall I am very impressed and happy with how the story was told. I did feel it was a little bit rushed, but I don’t think that detracted too much from my experience.

One thing, though. I really would have liked to see more involvement from the Exalted. They’re just kinda there with the egg, and that’s it. For creatures that are created solely to fight against Elder Dragons, I would have expected them to be there for some of the battles.

I’m also a bit confused by the final mission -

Was the big lizard guy we kill actually Modremoth? Or just an avatar? Does he even have a physical form? I would have liked to see a big dragon dude die, for some closure. The dragon from Season 2 was a better “Jungle Dragon” than that thing. I’m also disappointed that there was no conclusion / fanfare after defeating him. It’s like, woohoo you killed an elder dragon. Now get lost and receive no recognition. What gives?

Looks more like a bipedal Drake the size of a Giganticus Lupus than a lizard.

Drakes are all over the game and all of them are Dragons as the weapons of Dragon Slaying in the original Guild Wars have shown.

Mordremoth is the Elder Drake of Mind and Plants. His intelligence was the only thing going for him rather than any real power. Unfortunately for him his intelligence failed to consider that we’d rush through the front door of his sanctum and kill him.

He focused too much on the guy who Glint intended to take his place to come up with any real plan and payed with his life.

If he had focused on a giant plant avatar that looked more impressive than Zhaitan and sent it across Tyria to cause trouble he would have distracted the Pact from his real location(a Drake hiding in the part of the Dream overlapping Dragon’s Stand controlling the Mordrem) and won but instead chose to target a easily defeated rival over the bigger threat and died because of it.

From a screenshot I’ve seen it would seem that Mordremoth was just a ancient Jungle Drake(smaller than winged Dragons yet bigger than ordinary Drakes) and practically powerless against a small group rushing into his sanctum and killing him.

He was The Man Behind the Curtain in the end and had no actual power to back up his threat to Tyria with only his minions being the actual threat.

Funny how Drakes can be Elder Dragons eh? Guess it’s no surprise they were killed by weapons of Dragon Slaying in the first Guild Wars.

Also interesting how the original art for Mordremoth had him look more similar to those Dragon Moss instead of the Jungle plant Sylvari and Mordrem…..

That was Mordremoth’s art right?…….

It would be quite annoying to have to face a larger Stone Moss Dragon that has less absorbed Magic & control over it’s minions than Mordremoth yet more physical power.

Well the fight was alot better then the zaithan fight was. But i can understand that you would be disappointed by the size of mordy.

It was just totally not what I expected. I mean we basically projected ourselves into his mind and… well mind kittened him. But yea just thought it was funny what with the wyverns in Verdant being the closest thing to a dragon we actually fought.

I also didnt expect that but given the story behind mordy and the sylvari i dont think mind kittening him was bad storywise. Though i guess a more dragonlike model would have been better…

The overall story is not as good as Zhaitan’s. The final fight of Zhaitan was bad, but the whole war against the Risen was awesome, we were making progress every mission.

But the Mordremoth war was more like giving you a lot of mystery to find, few of them were really useful against it. Nor does the whole war make good sense, you were having huge trouble and all of sudden you made into the heart of the dragon and defeated it.

True but i think that has more something to to with how fast paced the story missions were. I think there should have been some more story missions before the endfight.

It has nothing to do with pace, but the focus, it’s keep giving you cliffhangers and new mystery, at the same time let you do useless research. Like the Buried Insight, you spent so much time to explore an old city and got laughable results. Nor does Glint’s egg make much use against the dragon, I’ve heard it’s only making some effect after its death.

The Egg was meant to replace that pompous Jungle Drake since it became a intergal part of Tyria’s existance to keep the planet from overflowing with Magic(Zhaitan still hasn’t been replaced which of course is bad news unless someone brings a Stone Drake into Arah to absorb the Magic).

What I want to know is: Who is the Final Raid Boss? Could he be the real villain of Heart of Thorns? Could it even be dare I say it the Deep Sea Dragon shown in Heart of Thorns’s official art?

I would say that for the Elder Dragon of Mind his size is quite fitting. Mordremoth is a bipedal Drake with lots of power over mind and plants unlike Zaitan who is a giant Bone Dragon made of other Bone Dragons controlling an army of Undead.

In the end it would seem that Drakes are indeed Dragons. A Dragon getting stronger dosen’t make it bigger as shown by Heart of Thorns though it does make them a major part of Tyria’s survival.

Too bad for Mordremoth that his arrogance cost him his life. Once he made his move it was all over for him. He made the mistake of sacrificing his greatest weapon Scarlet Briar to wake him up when he could have used her to win and died because of it.

Also: considering how there’s art for the Deep Sea Dragon in the Heart of Thorns site what are the chances that he’ll move in to claim Lion’s Arch now that the ancient Jungle Drake Mesmer is dead?

Purple is the color of Elder Dragons it would seem.

Scarlet made it clear that Elder Dragon Magic can easily be mistaken for Chaos Magic(at least by the Inquest) which is the Magic that Lyssa and Mesmers use so it’s not surprising that the Elder Dragons’ Magics all look Purple.

Why do Abaddon’s Margonites look purple? Considering how Lyssa got the Goddesses of Water position from him it wouldn’t surprise me if he had infused Chaos Magic into his Margonites.

Arenanet whether deliberately or by accident managed to create Lore reasons for The Margonites, the Chaos Rifts, the Elder Dragons and Lyssa to all have Purple Magic.

Funny how Primordus is the only Elder Dragon to not show Purple Magics at any time as far as I’m aware of. Of course we’ll probably see Purple lava as soon as he becomes a Major focus.

Is it because of how he corrupts(through assaulting the mind) or is he the most intelligent Elder Dragon?

Scarlet who was one of the Mordrem was a genius with high tech who created 5 factions working for her(Steam Creatures, Molten Alliance, Aetherblades, Twisted Watchworks and the Toxic Alliance) which none of the other Elder Dragons’ minions were able to replicate at all so I would assume the Mind part of the omnicidal Mordremoth’s sphere refers to intellect not where he targets.

Considering Mordremoth’s associations with Mind it’s obvious that he is going to take control of the three factions Scarlet made and exploit their powers.

The Toxic Alliance would hold the Krait(who are Mordrem) & the Toxic Sylvari(which are just Nightmare Courtiers that use the Green glow instead of the more common orange glow by default) and serve as minions that attack from the waters of the Heart of Maguuma.

The Molten Alliance which consist of Flame Legion Charr(with Dredge armor and Fire infusion from drawing on the power of Primordus’s Destroyers) and Destroyer Fire infused Dredge would give Mordremoth Fire magics from Primordus to his control(explaining the fire Mordrem controlling the fire breathing Wyverns in the Heart of Thorns trailor).

The Aetherblades would give Mordremoth the means to attack from the Mists.

The Twisted Watchworks could serve as additional aid to Mordremoth’s cause along with the Steam Creatures.

The Nightmare Court would serve as his main group of tactitions.

The common breeds of Mordrem would serve as the main army.

In the end Mordremoth would control Plants(Mordrem), Nightmares(Nightmare Court), Poison(Toxic Alliance), Fire(Molten Alliance), Air(Aetherblades), Steam(Steam Creatures) and Machines(Twisted Watchworks).

Dwayna’s snowmen soldiers might explain Grenth’s ties to Ice when Dhuum did not have such ties due to the fact that she was Grenth’s mother.

Dhuum is Shadow and Death(like Zhaitan) while Grenth is Ice and Death.

Anyone of royal blood could declare themselves the rightful king including the illustrious Mad King Thorn who could bind the ghosts of Ascalon to himself instead of freeing them if he so desired(their theme music where you encounter them happens to be Mad King Thorn’s own theme music from GW 1 so it all works out).

Aren’t the other races just as suspicious?

Jora a Norn lost her transformation ability because of Jormag yet resisted corruption….

Seems more like Jora was punished by Jormag for defying her creator.

Flame Legion seem to have Magma Hands and are able to gift said hands to Dredge.

What’s more the Charr as a whole worshiped the Titans because they were Fiery…..

Doesn’t that make the Charr seem just suspicious?

Asura seems to be the only native playable race that doesn’t seem to secretly be Elder Dragon Minions.

Instead the Asura have built their entire society on Elder Dragon Magic the moment they discovered it so they too are untrustworthy.

As for the Human faction which is the only faction not native to Tyria: They seem to have the Mursaat manipulating the government behind the scenes. Very untrustworthy….

Looks like Mordremoth is working with Primordus judging from the Mordrem working with a Magma infused reptile.

The dragons would be Primordus’s Champions the Great Destroyers in all likelyhood.

We may be facing 2 Elder Dragons in this expansion.

I knew we couldn't trust them! *SPOILER*

In the end judging from the fact that almost everyone saw the Sylvari being Mordrem coming it would seem that the obvious solution no matter how ugly must be the truth!

Therefore:

Scarlet is a Sylvari(confirmed)

Scarlet is a Mordrem(confirmed)

Zhaitan is the Green Orb due to the order of the orbs(confirmed).

Sylvari are Mordrem(confirmed)

Toxic Krait are Mordrem(blatantly obvious)

Flame Legion Charr are corrupted into Destroyers(they have magma eyes and magma hands)

Molten Alliance Dredge are Destroyers(they have magma arms and magma heads)

Plant Stalkers, Thornbrushes, Corrupted Roots, Enchanted Brambles, Ibogas and Jacaranda are all Demons created by Abaddon’s followers(a quest makes this obvious)

Aloes are fungi given life by unrestrained magic(made blatantly obvious in Eye of the North)

Imps are created by Abaddon(why else would the Sparks of the Titans look like Imps?)

Sentient trees allied with the Sylvari and Mordremoth are Mordrem while the rest are creations of Melandru(seems obvious)

Crystalline Elementals like the ones in the Dragon’s Lair and in the Charr Homelands are Branded(obvious considering that the Dragon’s Lair holds Kralkatorrik’s Champion Glint and the fact that the Charr Homelands was right next to Kralkatorrik when we visited it)

Earth Elementals and Ice Elementals are created by Elementalists except for the Djinn who are ghosts bound to an Element

Dragon Lillies, Undergrowths, Dragon Mosses, Brooding Thorns, Burning Brushs, Twisted Barks, Thorn Wolves and Island Gaurdians are all Mordrem(most look like Dragons while Thorn Wolves in the Maguuma are confirmed Mordrem)

Kuunavang has been infected by the Chalice of Corruption no thanks to Usoku or his successor taking advantage of the plans being in the possession of the Ministry of Purity(hinted at during PAX where ArenaNet called Glint the only good Dragon)

Evon Gnashblade is trying to bring a Fractal version of Abaddon into Tyria causing Nightfall(ArenaNet claims that his interest in the Mists is Religious)

Primordus is in the Maguuma Jungle(Maguuma Wastes is dry and magma breathing Dragons plus one other molten monstrosity working alongside a Mordrem are in the Heart of Thorns trailer)

Primordus is allied to Mordremoth(Molten Alliance was created by Mordremoth’s agent and I repeat there is a molten monstrosity working alongside a Mordrem in the Heart of Thorns trailer)

Molten Alliance represent Primordus, Aetherblades represent Glint’s egg and the Toxic Alliance represent Mordremoth himself.

If Kuunavang is evil you can assume Xun Rao(the only officer in the Ministry of Purity who could have the blueprint for the Chalice of Corruption) is responsible.

If Usoku is Xun Rao as I suspect due to the words of John Stuume! and if he has infected Kuunavang then she might end up coming to Orr and take in Zhaitan’s corruption becoming the new Elder Dragon of Death before fleeing to Cantha where we might face her and Usoku in a later expansion then things will get interesting.

Fire breathing Mordrem though? It would seem kinda weird for the Mordy, the jungle dragon, to create/grow those. I was hoping more along the lines of them possibly being some type of Cantha-esque lesser dragon.

a lot of them seem to be spewing a flammable liquid, rather than outright fire. it’s like they drool napalm. but yes, fire breathing plants, why not? we have sylvari elementalists and engineers.

Most likely they either come from blessings from the Molten Alliance or Mordremoth happening to team up with Primordus who just so happens to be living in Maguuma Wastes(this team up may explain why the Mordrem are so dry looking compared to the Sylvari and Sylvan Hounds).

If Mordremoth has indeed allied with Primordus then Scarlet’s creation of the Molten Alliance would be symbolic of Primordus just as Mordremoth himself is represented by the Toxic Alliance.

Of course the Molten Alliance and Flame Legion themselves mey have been corrupted by Primordus considering their Magma arms seen here: !http://wiki.guildwars2.com/images/6/63/Veteran_Molten_Gunner_and_Molten_Igniter.jpg! !http://wiki.guildwars2.com/images/b/b1/Veteran_Molten_Shaman.jpg! !http://wiki.guildwars2.com/images/6/60/Veteran_Flame_Legion_Fire_Shaman.jpg!
