Big respect to those on DB that fought for longer than just reset weekend, and didn’t give up when not winning. You made it a great 5 weeks, deserve a lot of respect, and I hope you realize that the negative comments are not aimed at you in any way, shape or form.
I don’t think anyone from TC has ever posted on a forum daring two servers to get them below 200 PPT. I personally enjoyed that – nothing like seeing EP and Odinzu have a goal!

That’s the point – they make towers more tactically important, able to survey, harass, and partially deny passage through large areas around them, and hence a higher value target to neutralize.

Kinda disappointed that we (TC) didn’t get a matchup with BG or JQ.
On the other hand, it’s good to see FA wasn’t matched up against SoR or someone insurmountable, which possibly would of scared off some of their returning players. I think they’ll get a lot of benefit from having a lower pressure week to get their community’s new structure even more organized.

As someone who takes care of business instead of farming bags with the zerg, I never make any profit in WvW.
Not only is there a lot of cost in keep/tower upgrades and constant camp upgrades, but there’s also penalties like having to buy siege to fit out towers for silver instead of badges, because you simply don’t earn enough badges to cover the huge amount of siege you drop.

High character count names in closely stacked enemy zergs really disrupt visibility and hurt awareness. Quite a few time’s I’ve not noticed enemy siege due to it being camouflaged by a sea of name tags.

And no, its not necessarily about skill, our coverage will ensure that when your NA prime forces meet ours, SOR’s already dominant NA will already be inside waypointed tier 3 keeps. Good luck with that…..

I don’t know if this effects all classes, because I only play my Engineer, but I suspect it might be Engineer specific because of many Engineer utility skills being bundles which effect your 1-5 skills.
The bug exists while using siege equipment, where if you change a utility skill you have equipped, you lose the siege equipments 1-5 skills and cannot get off the siege equipment at all.
It results in the player being unable to attack or move, and can only be cleared by waypointing away.
Also:
1) Remove HGH
2) Remove HGH
3) Remove HGH
It’s nothing but a crutch that’s hiding the real problems with Engineers.
Three changes to Rifle, because it’s kitten.
1) Get rid of the unworkable range restriction on blunderbuss (it’s LESS than melee range FFS)
2) Change overpowered shot to a PBAOE that doesn’t need a target.
3) Make all of Jump Shot’s damage happen on either the take off or the landing, instead of spread over both. Then speed the entire thing up.

Engineer’s ability to be good bunkers died with the nerf that stopped us from being able to heal under Elixir S
Meanwhile bunker Ele’s still can still get healing in mist form…
I definitely would not want grenades to be mandatory direct target. It would devastate our ability to perform area denial roles in WvW, removing one of the things we’re actually good at.
Dragons tooth has always been ridiculously OP against siege.
It effectively gives one class, and only one class, an anti-siege skill, that forces you to either:
1) Not use your siege
2) Use your siege and have it destroyed.
3) Ignore enemy attacking siege and focus the Elementalist (who you won’t kill), thus allowing your tower to be breached.
Anyone that defends it is either an Elementalist, or part of the anti arrow cart QQ brigade.

I’m personally not a role player, but I encourage ArenaNet to provide the in game tools needed to help sub-sections of the GW2 community enjoy the game as they wish.
Having to pay 10 silver for increased supplies every single time a camp gets flipped is a hugely unfair burden on scouts/yak runners/sentries (whatever you want to call the people that get kitten done instead of zerging).
If anything is changed with camp upgrades, this should be first.

Just this week, with the old timer, I lost two arrow cart builds in a row when running supply from borderlands north camp to (a non-waypointed) garrison because I bumped into enemy players and got held up.

T2 is very stable between TC/FA/DB. Dragonbrand could use Rethesis’s assistance to match TC’s NA power.
On average early NA we tick around 160-200 and by 9pm EST we are ticking 210-260. I’d like to see our min raised to 200 and max around 300 on average!
Considering DB quite often ticks 400 during oceanic/SEA time, I fail to see how DB ticking 300 during NA would make T2 a more “stable” matchup. Especially considering that T2 matchups are currently often decided by 10k points.

We’re in 3rd ticking 125-150PPT the last 2-3 hours during NA time slot. Logic defeats trolls again!
DB oftens ticks 400 PPT during oceanic/SEA. which leaves 295 points left for the other 2 servers, which is 145 each.
So, you get high PPT during Oceanic/SEA, and the other two servers get high PPT during NA. Sounds balanced to me as it currently is.
Yet for some reason you’re complaining that DB only ticking 125-150 during NA is unfair and that you need more bandwagoneers to balance the matchup.

Shortly after TC took FA’s keep on EB, we paid FA’s spawn a visit. That wasn’t cool, and I helped convince our commander to leave this area. Of course, the 60-man TC zerg wiped us as we tried to leave, so we got our come-up-ins.
Tkitten TC zerg is big enough to take most of the map, so we’re a little lucky that we have the siege bug.

there will always be 3 daily achievements that are WvW specific. Speaking personally, I’ve been able to achieve my dailies in WvW even without that change, but this should make it even easier.
Please stop including the yak killer daily :/

I keep having this issue in WvW during big zerg vs zerg fights.
The client crashes once it reaches 3gb memory usage, which I believe shouldn’t be happening as the executable has the “Large Address Adware” flag set, which should allow 4gb usage.
Does anyone know of a work around for this?
The only thing that worries me, is that matchups like these won’t be competitive:
Camps I haven’t noticed any difference.
But I swear, every patch they put one more krait on Quaggan island….
Fixes included in the build tomorrow (and I’m not sure if there are release notes):
- UI placement is now semi customizable for surround/eyefinity users.
- Start the client up using “-uispanallmonitors” to have the UI spread across all monitors. We may make this a graphics option in the future (I made it an argument passed to the game so we could get this out asap)
- UI scaling is now fixed for surround/eyefinity users
