Will they ever show the new legendaries

I hope they keep the surprise the same way they did at release. It so much better for the people who will be among the firsts to complete one of the new legendary to discover their skin and animation.

And end up with a clown pistol, disco ball on a stick, joke longbow that shoots with flowers or shortbow with unicorns? Nty sir.

Legendaries are not mandatory nor are you forced to be among the first to get one of them. Wait till everyone has it and decide which one you wanna do or stick to the ones you already know.

And the ones that will craft your “surprise” may end up being dissapointed. WIll you refund them mats for crafting it along with wasted time on unlocking pre cus they ended up with something dont wanted?

Legendary is not an ascended weapon which you can grind out in 1 day to craft.

Either way pointless discussion as you lost. New legendaries will show up in wardrobe on HoT launch, most likely they will get datamined before that even happen.

But they are still weapons with ascended stats that you can constantly switch around and you can transmute it to look like whatever you want anyway. If you don’t end up liking the skin, it can always be changed with no detriment to the weapon itself.

Hey all, I wanted to get you opinion. As most know with HoT will come new legendaries, although Anet has yet to give a release date or pictures of the new weapons.

I am not sure I should spent the gold i have now on some cool weapons skins, or keep saving it until i see the new weapons and decide what i want to spend my gold on then.

What would you do?

I don’t think there’s any indication that gold will be required for the new legendaries. The “crafting” system for it seemed to be completely reliant on you doing a lot of stuff, not on spending a lot or throwing random exotics into the Mystic Forge.

I thought Glint was the elite?

Glint is getting shield.

And thats the reason why Glint wont be a elite :P Mesmer already got shield in elite spec.

This is a good point. If the shield is Glint’s “weapon”, then Glint can’t be the elite. Would that mean Shiro is the Elite? I don’t think anything was confirmed to get off-hand swords yet.

Do we need 5 Trinkets? Or can we just have 1

MiniEquine.6014

Like in pvp there is only 1 trinket, the amulet.

What if we had that for pve too? 1 Amulet and 1 Back.

How would you like this?

Please note We are not talking about the Past money/gold you spent on trinkets but just the idea as in would you like it or would it be good? And why?

I like how it is in PvP for PvP. However, this is not ideal for PvE because:

The design for PvE (and WvW to a lesser extent) is reliant on fine-tuning your stats to get exactly what you need. The more options you have to do this the better. You could run all berserker armor, berserker back piece, but maybe celestial or knight’s rings and trinkets because you need a little bit more survivability so you don’t get 1-hit KO’d. There are bosses in the PvE mode that can easily deal >15k in one hit, but a player can hardly ever do this.

I think it’s fine for PvP because it makes everyone be more on an equal level in terms of gear. Having amulet and rune/sigil options is more out of necessity rather than a desire for customization. The customization should come from your ability to choose your skills and utilize them properly, not whether you can pick the best gear or not (at least this is Anet’s philosophy and it’s why I like PvP in this game better than in another like WoW’s where it is primarily dependent on gear, then skill).

Oh kittens I just killed a merchant… No Mallyx! Sorry I was talking to my legends… Yes it is a cool idea

SHUT UP MALLYX STOP CRYING YOUR MINE NOW

Honestly, this is pretty hilarious. If they spent time adding dialogue like this for the Revenant I would not be mad at all, even if it took a little longer for HoT to come out. They are already adding some dialogue for your character in the open world, so I could see this really being fun.

Theres no doubt that greatsword will come with elite spec eventually. What i fear is that it will overshadow other weapons forcing everyone and their mom to use it whenever someone like it or not.

Look at warrior for example, nobody use 1h axe as gs overshadow it in its superior damage, on top of that providing selfmight+mobility – something that axe lack.

Eventually they will give all weapons to all the professions in different specs.
Btw Warrior right now can use 1h axe, and it’s pretty strong. I have a war specced both gs and double axe and it kills everything in pve. Even with shoutbow I use axe main hand for its chop

@nearlight.3064
Because you are the Chosen One, Jimmy

There’s no way that every profession will eventually be able to get all weapons. Engineers can only use 3 weapons right now in 3 different combinations (Rifle, P/P, P/S). They would literally need to add over 15 elite specs just to get most of the combinations for engineers, and that’s just outrageous.

However, classes like Guardian and Warrior will have access to almost every weapon. I heard the magic number of 5 elite specs in total being tossed around at some point, so this would make more sense.

Regeneration Stacking in Intensity

in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns

MiniEquine.6014

OP you forgot to include the boon hate buff.

I’m confused, what do you mean?

Boons and cleansing in AoE format are in rampage mode right now making regeneration stack in intensity when they are adding resistance and even more AoE boons and cleansing is nonsense even if burn and poison stack will stack in intensity. You need counterplay.

This is a fairly good point, but it does bolster OP’s argument. Corrupt Boon converts regen into poison, so if poison is going to stack intensity, it would only make sense for Regen to also stack intensity.

Boon to Condition Duration
Aegis to Burning 3s
Fury to Blind 5s
Might to Weakness 10s
Protection to 3 Vulnerability 10s
Regeneration to Poison 10s
Retaliation to 3 Confusion 5s
Stability to Fear 1s
Swiftness to Crippled 5s
Vigor to Bleeding 10s

Though, looking at this chart, Aegis, Vigor, and Fear should stack in intensity by the same logic, so I’m guessing Anet might not have any intentions of adding this…

Revenants have only 5 skills for each Legend?

in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns

Posted by: MiniEquine.6014

MiniEquine.6014

Just look at 2 out of the 3 game modes. In WvW, a stun-break / stability generator is a must, especially as a melee class. Just gotta have it. Having a cleanse on hand is also a must if the utility is available. Being stunlocked or immobolized = death. If I can’t slot one of those, the class is useless. PvP is almost the same thing. There are just certain utilities you must have in order to succeed. If one legend has the things we need, then there’s no point in playing the other legends. This just means in certain game modes, everyone will be playing exactly the same thing, which is what the OP was saying. It’s just the fact of the class.

Both stun break and condition cleanse are available on Legend swap when traited into the Invocation traitline. In Retribution, you get stability on dodge roll. They don’t have to be in utilities for them to count as existing.

Let’s say late August release, what’s that ten, eleven week out?
(2) more stances for Rev
(5) elite specs left (5 right?)
The new WvW map
The new PvP map
I assume there will be some insight to gliding.
One week will be box reveal. That’s 10

6 elite specs. The Revenant elite spec still counts and we are still missing two Revenant traitlines. Invocation might actually be Ventari’s, but that’s only a guess.

Two legends left for Rev, let's matchmake!

in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns

Posted by: MiniEquine.6014

MiniEquine.6014

I feel like Glint will be the Elite Spec. Revenant will probably get four Legends to correspond with four trait lines and one miscellaneous trait line[Invocation] which deals with Legends in general and Energy in general. Think like Elementalist, four corresponding trait lines and one general one. Thus, Glint is more likely an Elite Spec than anything else.

For roleplayers or lore fiends out there, you can now think of Kasmeer’s saying “What’s that new magic?” to Rytlock in the beta as wondering about the Glint Legend specifically rather than Revenant magic.

I used to think this too, but Invocation actually has a LOT to do with healing and general party support. I would not at all be surprised if Ventari is Invocation’s “legend”. That does not mean that there won’t be a generic trait line, but if there is, it’s probably not Invocation.

Not a lot, it just has some orbs that heal yourself when swapping legends. Ventari is apparently full support-based, and I see a lot of offensive and self-centered traits in Invocation. It does have some healing aspect, such as Equilibrium+Shrouding Mists, but it has a lot to do with fury/crit and self-sustain as well[thus more of a rounded trait line]. Therefore, it seems as if Ventari will have his own line that likely ups his Tablet’s abilities and is more purely centric on support. Also the nature of the traits would be contradictory to supporting Ventari’s support-play, the minors and some majors benefitting from swapping in and out of Legends which makes no sense in regards to Ventari specifically as swapping means killing the Tablet.

And so I conclude that Invocation is likely the generic line.

I’m not saying you’re wrong (we’ll find out in an hour or so), but right now I don’t think I can agree with you for a couple of reasons:

Ventari’s traitline doesn’t have to have anything to do with the tablet, since, for example, Jalis’ obvious traitline (Retribution) has nothing to do with his utility skills. There’s a lot within Retribution that indicates it’s a good traitline to take for survivability, but none of his skill types are represented. Mallyx does have one trait (maybe two) called Demonic Defiance that does influence your decision to take Mallyx as opposed to others, but it’s not a minor trait so it can be opted out of taking.

Second, Ventari’s traitline is the support and healing line, for sure. Invocations 3 minors are synergistic in that healing orbs are absorbed upon changing to a legend, providing a heal, and you also get a stunbreak. That in and of itself is not indicative, but look at the rest:

II Cleansing Channel – Invoking a legend cures a condition
III Fierce Infusion – Healing skills grant fury
IV Equilibrium – Heal allies if energy below X, damage enemies if energy above X
V Invigorating Howl – Heal yourself on skill use with energy cost
IX Shrouding Mists – Increased healing if energy above X, reduced damage taken if energy below X

These abilities seem to be built around a pretty selfish individual, but one who has the ability to heal and survive. Ventari, as I have been learning lately, can be viewed as being extremely selfish for his overly pacifistic ideals to the point where he won’t even save his home from being destroyed just because he won’t raise a weapon. There’s quite a lot about healing or condition cleansing in this line, ~8 traits in total, and if he’s our healing legend then I couldn’t see a better line for it.

Are they going to have two lines with this much dedicated to healing? Like I said, you might not be wrong, but I just bring this up because it feels somewhat out of place…Additionally, if Ventari isn’t this line’s legend, does that mean Invocation is a “must get” line? It would feel like we must take this one because of its legend swapping bonuses. Then again, until the other two are revealed this can’t be stated for certain.

Turns out you were right. Salvation is the name of the Ventari traitline. I’ll revert back to my original ascertain that Glint is probably the elite spec.

I must be truly blind but i do not see where retribution line focuses on Jalis. That line offers tanky utilities but its not different than for example warrior defense line. Retrubution line doesnt not enhance or boost Jalis utilities by any means. Same goes for corruption except 1 trait that grants short resistance on Mallyx skills.

Therebefore your point 3 is completely out of window as utility skills are completely different thing from class mechanic. Its a mistake to compare legends to ele class mechanic. All classes (except engi) have 5 types of utility, 5 traitlines. One of traitlines is focused on class mechanic, in which case its not different from revenant as it stands now.

Following that logic we should take one type of utilities away from current classes right now as they have olny 4 traitlines focusing on x things, with 5th focusing on class mechanic, therebefore one type of their utility skills has no support from traits.

You don’t have to take either the legend or the legend’s weapon with the trait lines you pick. It is often more reasonable to take the associated line, but you could get away with not doing it. Much like how an Elementalist could take Fire and Air lines primarily but use their water attunement for AoE heals and some damage at the same time, Revenants could also take a similar path and really spread out their traits. This will not be useful for min/maxing or whatever, but it might help during WvW or maybe even in PvP.

There are a few things:

They did mention that they would be breaking them up into sets of 3 with breaks in between. We all want the reveals, but some of them (like even the base engineer) didn’t seem remotely close to ready.

They will probably either reveal the next elite spec next week or the week after. Once they release that one (probably Druid), then they will reveal the next two during the next two weeks (probably Tempest and Warrior spec).

It would be nice if there were some sort of better idea for a schedule, but they might not be able to declare the schedule now if they need to move stuff around.

Glint really does feel “Elite” so I might guess the Shield Legend hasn’t been added yet. Rev needs another Range option though from Hammer of Staff is Melee.

The shield is what’s really throwing me for a loop. Who could the shield legend be? Glint doesn’t seem like a shield would make sense, especially since both shield skills provide a large amount of healing…

Maybe it’ll be Logan. wink wink

No it’s ok just let it happen.

Haha, but really I don’t have as much of an attachment to Logan as others, despite mostly having human characters. I didn’t even think of it being a possibility until posting that, but now I really hope it is. What a good twist it would be! People are already theorizing Braham is going to find Eir’s bow and take up Dragonhunter.

Rytlock and Logan have had the most turbulent relationship which finally got patched up. And Logan finally taking being committed to the cause much more seriously. He could have lost his life protecting Zojja and Rytlock realized he can summon him. It would be painful but endearing that Logan could still “fight” with the group, through Rytlock.

sorry for being a bit melodramatic but…

This isn’t about somebody liking the Revenant or not. They are simply stating that claiming something is bad before all the info released about it has been revealed is counterproductive. To insist on talking about something like one has full knowledge about it, without having full knowledge about it, is somewhat useless.

This has nothing to do with asking the company for more info. We all want more info on the Revenant. We all know there is more info to get about it. What we don’t know is the full extent of that info, and to claim it is bad before having the rest of it is no good.

The effects of this are I try to use a skill and it takes 3-5 seconds before it actually activates. Sometimes I have to spam the skill to get it to even trigger.

I’m running with 2GB video memory, 8 GB RAM, 3.4 GHz processor, and I typically can get ~20 fps on boss fights with maximum settings. Lowering the graphics settings does not change this.

That’s the server buckling under the weight of so many actions happening in one spot. It’s the reason Keep Lord Room fights in WvW are horrendously lag filled clusterkittens where you will die because your heal won’t activate when you press the key and why even hypothetical space computers from the future get terrible frame rates during Maw.

Okay. I didn’t think it was on my end, but I wasn’t sure.

Fermi, I believe my info is:
GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX770 2GB DDR5
CPU: Intel Core i5-4670 3.4 GHz 6MB LGA 1150 clock speed
RAM: Kingston KVR16N11/8 1 × 8GB 1600 MHz DDR3 non-ECC CL11 DIMM
I also have GW2 installed through my SSD as opposed to my HDD.

I don’t have any more information beyond that right now. Like I said though, it runs flawlessly elsewhere and even works almost immediately after the boss fight ends.

https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/revenant-compassion-as-a-way-of-life/

So? No one really expected a playable centaur. But the conversation has long gone from ‘are we getting centaurs?’ to ‘lets get ourselves some centaurs!’ (and of course you bunch of naysayers. Fooo kill-joys foo).

The REAL reason we will never have playable centaurs: mounts, including horses, are on the table and centaurs riding horses would look… awkward.

Mounts have never really been on the table though…

It’s not necessarily about the topic’s title. People were thinking it was the Druid reveal within this thread as well, I was merely pointing out that it was, in fact, the Revenant reveal. And us “neigh”-sayers (:P) have good reasons for being so.

We are going to have weeks that seem unimportant to us personally, but they are far from lacking meaningful information. Also, sorry to burst your bubble, but the order of reveals is strangely matching the order of professions on the website, so next spec reveal will probably be the Druid.

Here is an example of that being confusing/bad. Beta spoilers ahead:

Say you are a Rev and you enter Maguuma to rescue people. You fight several waves of Mordrem until you are faced against the mounted rider which Rytlock jumps out to attack. You then proceed the fight and win.

Then Kas says, “What is that new magic you’re using?” To Rytlock.
While, as a Rev, I had been using the SAME king of magic since the start. Kas SHOULD know about it, especially if I played through LS2 with my Rev.

New magic can refer to a specific ability. Such as the Dragon (I believe he uses that specifically). And if the Dragon stance is the Elite Specialization, we simply might not have access to it until after that instance (we don’t know how they are unlocked as of yet as far as I am aware).

I hope that’s what she’s referring to, but he only just showed up, so it’s almost certain she’s talking about Revenant skills in general.

I expected each legend to have a bunch of utility abilities to choose from within the legend.

This is quite disappointing.
I hope I can at least change the order of utilities on the skillbar.

In the stress test beta where we first tried out Revenant, you could indeed swap the order of the 7-9 skills. I did so first thing. I assume this remained true for last week’s beta or people would have lit up the forums about the change.

In the last beta i played utilities been resetting its position every legend swap. Hopefully its olny a bug if not they better change it..

That was just a bug, it’s intended to save each bar’s skills independently so you can rearrange them how you like per legend. It’s already fixed internally.

$10 for an expansion to an mmo that has been around for almost 3 years with no subscription fee or pay to win features. More than $10 is not worth it to you? Poor Anet. There is no satisfying some of you people.

The full game was literally $10 multiple times very recenently. That’s less than I pay for 2 pints, or a weeks worth of coffee, or lunch at Subway.

/shrug

You pay $10 for lunch at Subway? What do you eat?!

Their cheapest subs are about $3.80 after tax for a 6", but if you get a 12" and it’s not their ham, meatball, Italian, or whatever ones, you’re looking at around $7 just for the sandwich. A drink and chip thing is an additional $2.10 – $2.60 or so, which could put you easily near $10. Make it a premium sub and you’re looking at almost $10 from the sandwich alone.

Wow… sounds like I’m saving money by not eating at subway :-P

Their bread:meat ratio was always a bit off for me anyways.

The best way to save money is to never eat out. It’s always less expensive to purchase your food unprepared and make it yourself, even compared to dollar menu things from McBurgerclown’s. Sometimes local delis will have awesome deals on sandwiches 3-4x the size of a subway sandwich but nearly the same price.

Either way, I guess the point of all this is you could pick up the expansion for a few visits to a fast food restaurant. If people really like the game and want to support it, it is hard to justify not getting the expansion compared to seemingly needless purchases of cheap food that we could have instead gone without.

Agreed, this all doesn’t make sense in a story telling way. Like it was said above, one could IMAGINE that the Zhaitan storyline is your Rev essentially playing through the events in a Fractal-ish manner in the Mists.

But if it’s just a simulation it makes no sense for others to be calling you the Commander. If that happened in some alternate universe.

Would have been great to be taught by Rytlock himself, in the Mists, indeed, as it was meant to be.

In term of lore, it poses serious chronologic problems, but as far as I remember, Anet does not give a s**t.

It was easier to justify it lore-wise before Rytlock was declared as the “world’s first Revenant”, but I have a feeling it is recoverable. The Mists can affect time, so I could see Revenants running through a simulation of the past through the Mists, doing the personal story as they go and eventually killing Zhaitan in their own “instance”, all the while still existing in the game as it is right now, before the assault on Mordremoth. This will likely not be explained at all in-game, but hopefully Anet tells us something canon about this. It’s hard to justify otherwise.

How does Anet justify Revenants being able to kill Zhaitain if Rytlock is the “world’s first Revenant” and by the time he returns Zhaitan is already dead?

The only thing I could come up with is that Revenants are affected by some funky Mists time shenanigans that simulate the experience of killing Zhaitan in the past and, when we finish that, we are returned to the “normal” timeline where we are right now. I would like to see them make some sort of official statement about this, because it’s a bit difficult to see making sense at the moment…

I haven’t been disconnecting, but I have been experiencing internet lag only during the world boss fights. Once the fight ends, my connection restores to normal.

If it helps you feel any better, this is a pretty good sign that they will probably start going into the next 3 elite specs either next week or the week after. They have 2 more Legends to reveal properly (Shiro and Glint), and spacing them out seems reasonable.

Do you think they’ll reveal revenant’s eltie spec before showing us everything about its base class? If one of those legends are part of an elite spec, then it’s safe to assume that we’ll get the reveal of the other legend after the next three elite spec blogs and before the last three. If not…

I do believe that it won’t be revealed before the base class. I believe it will go as follows:

Next week will be more information about one of the Maguuma Jungle races
Then will be 3 weeks of consecutive elite spec reveals (likely Ranger, Elementalist, and Warrior)
Then we’ll have 2-3 weeks of reveals regarding Guild Halls and Challenging Content
Then we’ll have the 4th Legend reveal for the Revenant, Shiro, effectively revealing all of the base spec lines
Then we’ll have reveals about something deeper in Maguuma, maybe the Exalted
Then we’ll have the final 2 elite spec reveals for existing professions (thief then engineer) as well as topping it off with the elite spec reveal for the Revenant, which could be Glint.

At which point it’s mid to late August, which is when most people theorize the game will be released anyway.

After reading the post, I really hope the Ventari’s tablet mechanic isn’t as gimmicky as it sounds…

This is important. It really needs to be seen in action before its effectiveness can be judged properly.

It looks like it could deal a reasonable amount of damage if you spec into power lines and wear the right gear stats. It also comes with cleave healing, an AoE condi cleanse, a blind, weakness application, and a 9x damage multi-target knockback, so even if it’s not the most damage, you will be able to deal enough and still provide useful support to your comrades.

In regards to the staff, it seems like a great secondary weapon if we could weapon swap, but I just can’t see myself taking it into battle over other weapon sets except in very specific ways. The more I see the weapons, the more I see they basically lock you in to a specific style and don’t lend well to blending. At first I was completely on board with not having a weapon swap with Revenant, but the more they reveal the more I think that is extremely limiting.

I know where you’re coming from, but staff actually seems to fit very well all legend so far. Its healing sustain is great to counter mallyx’s self damage and to make jalis tankyness even more tanky.

Outside of that, the whole revenant design is similar to elite specs. You have one legend, one trait line and one weapon that are thematically tied to each other, with plenty of synergy inbetween. And then you complement them with your other tools. Assuming that staff is going to be pidgeonholed to ventari’s legend, and assuming that the same will be the case for other weapon sets/ legends, you’ll still have to choose your second legend and your second and third trait lines. So it’s a lot like an elite spec in this regard. You chose a theme, and then add into it something more from other themes available.

I just brought this up in another thread here and think this hits the nail on the head. Each Revenant legend is like its own elite spec, and I honestly think that’s what the elite specs are based on. New weapon that synergizes with your new spec? New heal, utilities, and elite than you can only access in that spec? It’s all fitting into place.

As far as the staff goes, it has an AoE heal-on-AA chain, a charging knockback, and a 15 sec CD condition cleanse on a stick (literally). This weapon may find a lot of use in on-point sPvP fights because of its sustainability and CC. You could probably run a more offensive build and still be able to survive a good bit, so this has a good bit of potential.

For PvE? Probably not.

And yet i still doubt elite spec brings another legend. Dev said themself many times that elite spec will change how core class play and feel. If revenant get another legend in elite spec what does it change from base class? Nothing really.

Also looks like shield “belongs” to glint.

Well, that’s the thing though. The Revenant is naturally more different from other classes because of its ability to channel legends. Actually, I think that the elite specializations are based on how the Revenant is setup. Check it out:

What do we get with an elite specialization?

  • New weapon that can’t be used by the base class: this one is easy; all of the legends revealed so far seem to have a weapon that synergizes best with them. It wouldn’t be too weird to have an elite spec legend that grants you the ability to use their weapon.
  • New heal, 3-4 new utility, and 1 new elite skill that can’t be used by the base class: This is what a Revenant gets with a new legend by default. You are limited to what your legends give you, but whenever you equip a new legend you get 5 new skills that you otherwise could not access before.
  • Updated class mechanic (F1-5): This one is a bit tricky, but it’s not to say it can’t be done. We know the Revenant class mechanic is the ability to swap between legends and utilize the energy bar for the legend-specific skills. They could definitely implement a different way for that to function, but they have not revealed it yet.

Orianna was what first popped in to my mind too, after reading that section of the blog. It seems like an interesting mechanic in GW2’s combat system

I still want to know which of the developers is a fan of League of Legends. more and more I am seeing HoT mechanics directly taken from/inspired by League. The wind wall on revenant (Yasuo), the displacement on Chronomancer (Leblanc, Ekko), and now the ventari tablet, clearly based on Orianna and her ball mechanic

League is sort of in a league of its own in terms of variety. How many champions are they up to now? 124 I think? Each of them has unique mechanics with very little shared between them. There’s gotta be some overlap between games, but I wouldn’t be too surprised either if somebody thought it would be good to add it here because of LoL.

Melee staff – refreshing. Even though it’s defensive in nature, defense includes CC, which this seems to have. offers good potential for group survivability.

Ventari’s Tablet – this seems to work a lot like Orianna does in League. A commanded item on the battlefield will promote active play for defense and can probably result in some shenanigans if you can command it on top of walls and the sort. Revenant skills also don’t have cooldowns, they just use energy, so you could spam these tablet skills until you run out, which can mean very bursty defense.

I’ll wait for the Sterling price. If it’s 40 Euro, then the Sterling price should be under £30. But it won’t be, it will be £40. As we get ripped off by every game company in the UK, pretty sure Anet won’t be any different. We’ll end up getting stuffed as usual.

Sales tax doesn’t account for the difference.

You gotta let your economy crash first to let your currency reach the same level as the dollar and Euro. Bam, no more price inequality :P

I think it’s hilarious people are accepting that spinning around is in any way a sensible strategy for throwing daggers in the first place…

How about the centaur thief just stands there and waves their arms a lot? A few backhand tosses to cover behind them and assorted side and forward flicks for the rest of the field of fire. That would actually be about 30 times more plausible than Daggerstorm is now…

I guess that’d be a suggestion for the Thief forums though I think they have Dagger Storm working how it’s supposed to be, which is not an accuracy-based skill. The idea is to just throw as many daggers in as many directions at once, and it also has the added effect of dealing 8x more damage to point blank targets than it does to targets at maximum range. They should at least make sure they can match the arm movements with the number of projectiles, which they avoid having to do because your character is spinning around fast.

No thnaks 40euro for 1 weapon for each class and reworked traits ? maybe a few maps …
Not worth …. max I’m willing to give is 20 Euro and only to check what Necro Great Sword is about …

You’re missing a few features there, like, 90% of them.

Like what ? Precursor craft ? Flying? Useless Mastery Abilities ? Revenant 2 handed hammer throwing ranger? LOL
1 Wvw map
Quite poor update but this is my Pov. and if you don’t like move along sorry …

Only 2 things are exciting Guild halls and new wepons for classes …. but again just my POV

You said:

You might not personally feel like the expansion is going to fit your need for quantity of content, but don’t be disingenuous and pretend like it isn’t coming out with more than you say it is to fit a particular agenda of yours, whatever it may be. From what you’ve typed in your past two posts, you clearly do not know about all of the things they’ve announced so far as you leave most of them out, which is why I called you out on it.

Your opinion isn’t an opinion if you’re claiming for a fact that it’s merely “one more weapon per class and some masteries, maybe a map”.

To play devil’s advocate for a minute, at first taking a glance at what was to come it sounded like a glorified paid feature pack with a map thrown in as a bonus. But then again I’m playing the waiting game like everyone else, so I’m going to stay completely neutral to the matter to whenever get another more in depth look on these features.

But that’s perfectly reasonable to do. We don’t know all of the information, but we do know a good bit and it’s much more than they would ever do in a single update patch. I’m also holding back my excitement because I don’t feel like overhyping it. I would rather have it pleasantly surprise me with more than I thought it would have. I’m a little antsy about the “challenging content” information, because this might be the big part, but again trying to not get too hyped.

Internet Lag During World Bosses?

So, I’m not sure if I’m the only one, but if I was doing some world bosses and I noticed that whenever the fight started and only during the fight my skills would take about 3-5 seconds between pressing and actually casting. Sometimes I have to spam the skill to get it to even work. I don’t believe it’s my computer as I’m able to run at 60fps on maximum normally, ~20 fps on maximum during World Bosses. I did try lowering the graphics settings to best performance but that didn’t affect the latency. Once the battles end, everything casts instantly again.

Is there any fix to this? I have more than enough internet speed (tested and shown to be between 70-95 Mbps down, 10 Mbps up) and it makes it frustrating trying to do the bosses. I don’t want to just sit there and spam 1…
