Happened two times now, i fell from respawn and was stuck underwater (under the sand actually) couldnt do anything except watching my team lose.

I think what matter the most are – not in any specific order -:
- individual skill and collective gameplay
- ability to read a map and team/ennemy status
- ability to react quickly and adapt according to situation, and therefore ability to anticipate
- communication
- creativity, being unpredictable and finding openings
- Timing and positionning
And maybe the most important thing: respect your teammates and opponents, and having fun above all else. Positive attitude and feedbacks are better than flaming anyone. If you want to carry a game, the least is to have a good leadership.

Hello there! I’m wondering if it would be nice for us and technically possible or not for Anet to get a detailed statistic table at the end of each match, and some kind of history? Like nodes captured/defended/neutralized, total damage done/taken, total heals, total death/rez/stomps, etc.
I think it would help the game to be more esport as initially intended, and i’d like to be able to analyze where i failed/succeeded, and where i need to improve. Because competitive sport is all about measuring performance, isnt it?

I just wonder why most Elites should be offensive and display large numbers, there’s plenty of room to make defensive/supporting Elites.

Happened to me few weeks ago (58:11:5:535:101), and this night too with lag spikes. Hopefully it’s only temporary and doesn’t occur everytime. But still annoying, especially in pvp.

Just thought about an Elite signet yesterday, something like “Signet of Elemental Power”: you would get the passive effect of each signet depending on your current attunement (that would stack with other signets possibly equiped – except SoR) while the active would be the same in a more powerful version (more damage or more duration, or make it AoE)
Edit: SoW could also buff Vitality/Healing Power passively, that would make it more interresting i think, as Fire and Earth already boost Precision/Toughness.

Hmmm never really played thief, but duelled with thieves many times. They were not a real problem when i learnt to play my class better. Of course there’s still better thieves out there who could outplay me, but overall the class is not that op. The only annoying thing with thieves is losing the target every second, but i gotta deal with it.

I had the same issue, i collected something like 200 unidentified dyes, and when i came back on the game they weren’t in my inventory anymore :/
Strangely i don’t loot dyes anymore either.

Well, GW1 MS caused KD… there’s enough rng in gw2 version to add an additional effect to MS.

Looking forward to these changes, and maybe adapt my gameplay. Anyway, I can’t wait to try the new DS.
But – please – could you remember for the future patches in 2014 that we also have a Focus? Blasting Staff, Windborne Dagger, Vigorous Scepter… Forgotten Focus?
If I may make a suggestion, since BS increases AoE radius, WD movement speed, and VS endurance regeneration, could we have a trait that increases Healing or Attack with Focus? Since there’s no damage/healing skill on focus, that sounds like a fair tradeoff, don’t you think?

I can’t really tell since I never played into Fire. Not certain the passive bonuses from attuning really do last 5s more after switching.

The exact words were “known and documented issue”. I think it will never be fixed because we learnt to play without it, and implementing it would make us too OP. But I guess we’ll get a new useless trait instead.

why are they even ground targeted? nothing happens where you target exept for the summoned weapon apears there. for lightning hammer it could act just like lightning flash does, a instant teleport. i agree that conjures dont need to get a major buff, it just needs this little push to get people into using conjure weapons abit more often.
Positionning. If you ever plan to drop the first one and pick the second one at one particular/advantageous spot, or simply share it with an ally if you teamplay coordinatively. But I agree, there should be a field on the summonning point and yours. Fire/Ice/Lightning/Earth.
By the way, why earth does not get any field? Mud, shifting sands, whatever.

Pick/Drop conjures counts as weapon swap.

Here is the list of bugs I have seen so far:
– Being interrupted while summoning conjure weapon puts conjure on 1min cd, but weapon doesn’t appear on ground nor in hand (happened to me once and I haven’t really been trying to reproduce the bug)
– HP % triggered traits like Earth III and Arcane IV trigger at lower value then listed.
Have no screens or videos to back this up.
I can confirm that. Also, for the second point, that is the reason why I never take Armor of earth at 50% and arcane shield at 25%: they always proc when I’m almost down (conditions usually finish the job). I think that’s because Eles go from 55% to 5%
way too fast when targetted.

I really like your suggestions, but I doubt they ever see the daylight. Continuously playing and improving my playstyle through all the nerfs, I feel like any “serious” buff/revamp would make the ele totaly OP.
I think that’s also why lingering elements never got fixed. I don’t even ask for a buff, a simple fix would already be too OP.
Edit: just to avoid misunderstandings, I emphasized on “serious” in contrast with the revamps/traits that have been done over the past months, I didn’t mean to minimize the work you’ve done here.

In my mind, if you’re one with air, you should be:
1- able to feel the tiniest fluctuations in the air in a wide range (and thus detecting stealth characters)
or
2- Air yourself: Immune to damage, except maybe poison/chill/burn.
or
3- able to control the weather and the air around you (make an air vacuum area or powerful winds, etc.)
But not 1.5s speed. Or make it like 300% faster Out of Combat and remove the pointless cap.

Edit: I had many nice fights today against Kodash and Barush, I ran into a lot of small groups, particularly [Ods] (very nice to fight you guys, even if you’re so annoying^^), I hope we’re gonna keep it that way

While I agree with the OP, all I can say is play with what we have, and endure it. It may be heartbreaking sometimes, but I just love my Ele. If she doesn’t get any buff, I only have to be better. Whenever I lose to someone, I think i’m not good enough to overcome the difficulties and the inherent issues of the class. Just my ele-dô.

They fixed it. Now you can cast fire/water/air/earth spell for 5 sec when attuned to fire/water/air/earth.

Yeah, but 0+(1×100%)=1, as speed boons usualy add up and not multiply.
In case of egineer’s superspeed: 1+(1×100%)=2=double speed.

ELES are the TOP CLASS for SUPPORTING economy by dropping heavy loot bags. That’s how “support role” should be understood. Our DPS (Drop Per Second) is the highest in WvW, and no other class has the ability to evade and dodge the fights as we do: dead people don’t take any damage.
