Ok now we have a vertical progression can we get a sub fee? I mean after all you wont be able to survive on the
gem shop alone. Unless you put items in the cash shop.
Why not anet – at what $40-50/slot – I dont have time like the no lifers so please put the stuff(gear) in the cash shop as well as
add a sub fee.I have lots of cake and have no issue spending it.

We will need raids to big raids for the guilds that have formed. That will keep them paying a sub fee as well.
can we have a rotation of FOTM classes so that we can keep our sustained sub fee for you as well.
Dont forget to force people to do things they dont like to do like daily PVP and PVE that always make people happy as well.
Guilds – Make some halls for us and dueling places – have to keep those losers in thier place as well. I am a big spender
so I can adorn my temple with all the gaudiness I crave.
You need to add more RNG -this stimulates more grinding and making people continue the sub.
Add MFX2 another reason to go into places ill equipped and increase the difficulty level.
keeps people playing longer and hey always throw that in the gem store as well.
Lets start adding more races to play and new skills to learn – maybe put those in the cash shop as well – more bank ftw.
How about adding farming or something to keep the grinding perpetually going. I mean I can grind all day in the dungeon so I am superior
in WvW and PVE but I still need MOAR. Why not add farming or something. Also give those useless scrubs something to do
since they wont meet the gear check.

I have had experience with one other MMO and forcing people to change their name is the quickest way for them to stop playing. People develop attachment to a toon and name.You take away their identity they are done.

I bought into a philosophy and dev design. That is why I preperchased the game. Now the bait and switch me and what I do now is look at the game critically.
Most of orr is a mess DE’s glitched and bugged – the design itself isnt fun but annoying.
Dungeons are bad and no fun – offer very little reward for time/suffering
WvW is a mess cause of the hacking and transfers and culling.
Spvp is unbalanced and bad
SO while I was willing to overlook these things because I believed in Anet and keep going that no longer stands. Which leaves this question is it worth playing anymore?

There was to be no gear after exotic because legendaries have the same stats as exotic.
the simple fact that legendaires are being buffed to ascend status directly implies a new tier plain and simple. It is a bait and switch and not nice to do. Thankfully I got my monies worth and will put Anet on my do not buy list anymore.
I agree that it is disconcerting no less. I wonder if people arent abusing the report button on people they dont like ect.
Anet went from one extreme to the other with bots – having so many and playing catch up that legit people got caught up in the sweep. There are still tons of them and I expect that this will continue to happen just try and take precautions like log out and take breaks frequently.
Then there is all this ascend stuff now that is blowing up I hate to be at Anet HQ these days I doubt it is fun and games.
It isnt about being scared LOL. I pre purchased this game way before it was released because of tenants that were used to develop and implemented in this game. I had a belief that there was a proven track record (GW1) that things would be adhered to and that those things wouldnt be broken. 3 months later and I expect to see pay 2 win in the shop next patch after all nothing is sacred now so why not go all out for the $.

That is right legendaries are a must now since they hold a statistical advantage over exotics. The new armour add +8% so in a fight that advantage is the diff between a win and a port back to way point.
WvW will have no choice to grind out the PVE just to be on par with others.

Trafern isnt that bad just that he is the hero in the end and you work for him. Dont mind being the help but kinda wished I could have death blossomed him and handed him over to the dragon. Become the king of the risen and all but then that is another story.
Tybalt reminded my kinda of Gus from Tor and that was a good role and enjoyed that story line.
Now we are into damage mitigation the devs must be scared a bit about the wrath of the players. This is worse than the bots lol.

You thought back stab was bad well on friday look out. We will be buffed and kicking butt all over the place and no matter how many QQ threads pop up we will still kick butt.

Actually the 800 lb gorilla is the cash shop going pay 2 win. They threw out there cornerstone philosophy pretty darn fast so I bet that pay 2 win and better than legendary are up next in the cash shop.
Then next month there will be that new armour piece. Nothing to stop them now that everything is on the table.

The sad thing is the hardcore have left the building. They were the streamers ect. They were the level 80’s at the 4th day. They are gone and arent coming back. Anet needs to worry about US that are left but as it seems many will be vacating the premises soon as well. You were meant to progress in other ways other than gear and achievements but that has been tossed aside for appeasing the 1% that are gone and no longer log into the game. Info from my friends are they aint coming back. They saw what you had and left.
I shake my head at the promo videos of what was to be and what it has become and a shame. Do I care not really I got my moneys worth but what does get me was this was to be different and it is the same old thing different developer.
At this point everything is now open since the main tenant of play how you want when you want (gear is cosmetic) is tossed out the window.
I have moved on now and expect things to be done properly like Dps meters and player inspection tools and lfg stuff. I want to be able to keep those that arent as leet as meet far away from me as possible.
I second this – there is no way I am going into a dungeon with under equipped people plain and simple. There must be a way to filter them out so that the elite get to go and the rift raft dont even show up.
Dps would be excellent as well I usually am at the top but hey it is always nice to have proof and to tell the other guy how bad they are.
Please this will make the game so much better and maybe my friends will come back.

They are going to make it harder because the dev post said it should have taken a lot longer to get legendaries. Drop rates are going to be nerfed to keep you on the treadmill now even longer and costing much more gold.

7 Years in GW1, 3 months in GW2 and never was this dissapointed.
I really wished what they said was true cause I spend a lot to time pushing #1 doing plinx and having enemies respond 10min! that is a luxury here 5 sec they respawn.

Yes I agree. I use fast ground targeting and bewilder at where the mouse ends up at times when I try to keep it near the center but simply lose track even when keeping an eye on it.
Too much effect wise on the screen- that needs to be toned way way way down and if there are legendaries – turn them off sad to say this but they make an even bigger mess of a bad situation.
Tab Target is horrible and needs a huge revamp. It is on par with Tor and that is saying something.

It will get even worse soon the free transfers will stop and they will be paid or some off limits until populations stabilize and reset.
I am doing the map comp on my toon and 90% of the time going around I am alone everywhere and things dont look good. Just happy that as an 80 I can still own even if I have to put on my exotic to fight through some of the events. Otherwise I might just give up and move on.
We should all have the ability to get one if we choose to. That is all I care about a fair and equitable way to obtain that type of weapon. The RNG and Paypal didnt do that so hopefully something else will be added.
As to the casual vs farmer – that will be your choice to not play with friends and farm for it instead.
As long as you are offered a fair shot at one there is no need to complain, cause frankly in the end the casual player can just buy one. It disgusts me that it can be that way but anet needs the money. 1000usd for non GS legendary buy using Anets gems.
If you pug and dont communicate – forget it there is no point. They are difficult and mindless at time and unfun. Even with voice communication it can be difficult. I just dont find satisfaction doing them and not worth the time except an odd run with guildies.
I just dont do them. Like orr too annoying and a pita. The mechanics I have found to be will bad for a lack of a better term. I love hard but fun however this isnt it. So there is part of the game i dont see much of and that does sadden me.
The events are already there and dont require anything (plinx). But to add quest changes and chains requires $$ to develop and lead time ect. Totally different investment from what I see. I simply dont know enough to say how expensive or cheap it would be to create x many new quests.
Personally I would love to see something that rewards me for an epic quest not just hitting paypal or forge. Give me a sense of satisfaction and keep me playing and spending money at the gem store. In the end Anet must weigh the costs – plinx vs expense of content -loss of players-loss of revenue=new goal.
I myself dont have an issue grinding at all but I know many people who hate it. I dont blame them one bit.

Try an Orr event alone – that is no fun believe me. The mobs hit hard and CC the daylights out of you. It may also depend on class as well.
Some can be easy but please note that some non group events require a group.
