I know, I know, but.
Wouldn’t it make sense to “give” some accounts better luck to balance out the economy.
I mean, if the drop rate was set then everyone should be able to get their precursor with at least, I don’t know, 500 attempts?
Again. Just speculation. Hold your tinfoil hats.
Are they still trying to make GW2 an eSport or have they abandoned this idea?
I would have probably left GW2 year go if it wasn’t for WvW.
We’re working on it and it’s just around the corner and coming soon.
Perhaps there’s something more tankier?
So I’ve been running standard 0/0/30/30/10 (or 0/0/6/6/2) build for ages now.
While it works great against thieves, warriors and anything else that uses melee weapons, fighting necros/thieves/engineers (condition spammers) is nightmare.
I pop my shout, remove a condition, and the moment after that 3 more conditions appear. And then they just ran around, dodging, evading, and evern though most of them are glass, my guard just can’t catch up with them, the one CC skill on GS just isn’t enough.
And so I’ve been looking for a new build.
Here’s an Idea I had – http://gw2skills.net/editor/?vUAQBVSDkWhWLE/dwPUEB2DMmxOC-zkwAZvioxWZLiGLA-w .
I don’t know what they were thinking but I wont be using any of the new traits.
I guess we’ll have to wait another 6 months for them to SLIGHTLY buff the traits when they see no one is using them. And then another 6 months for them to become viable.
“Guild Wars 3 takes everything you loved about Guild Wars 2 and throws it out of the window.”
I imagine that’s how the next manifesto will sound like.
Build Diversity? What?
Zerker set is literally the only viable set now for the PvE, as it was before.
It still deals the most damage.
Learn to dodge and run 20/30/10/0/0 on Guard.
What happened to “Play the way you want” thing?
I never found Trains to be that particularly profitable anyway.
I don’t think I could be let down anymore than I was already, by the painfully slow updates and no new content.
I just literally logged in for 30 minutes and couldn’t find anything to do.
Should I now be collecting all the armor skins? Why? I already have the skins I want.
Should I be collecting dyes? I already had Abyss and Celestial and 75% of the other dyes.
Should I quit my WvW guild because of the unbalanced Season to join a PvE guild and do the world bosses to get horribe loot not worth the effort – Tequati and Wurm?
Or maybe I should do my FOTM daily run (more than 500 runs totally) and hope to get the GS skin I want?
The WXP is great and all, it took me 30 seconds to redistribute my points again.
Traits for my guardian are a joke. I’m not planning on getting any of them any time soon.
At the end of the day, I’ll still log in and do the same things I did before the patch. WvW and same Dungeon rotation for gold.
Decent QOL patch, doesn’t add anything major to the game though.
It’s decent for a small update.
After logging in for 30 minutes I felt like I’ve already seen everything and logged out.
Yeah. It’s awful. I’m asking for a refund to. It took me over 600 Gems to make my perfect outfit and now I can use only 1 piece time.
Are you ready?
Because who needs new armor obtainable in game via playing the game ithout using the gem store.or, you know, obtain it in game by converting gold to gems.
Because who needs new armor obtainable in game via playing the game without using the gem store.

Free transfers ultimately just stacks one server while leaving others empty.
Maybe this is their way of merging servers without actually doing it.
So when is this mysterious coverage fixing update coming?
I recall Arena Net saying back in 2013 January that they’re actively working on Precursor Hunt, more than a year, still nothing, and Arena Net admitted that it’s not their priority.
Something drastic needs to happen, then they’ll start updating faster.
Like the whole Arena Net GvG incident, they made a special GvG ring ASAP after that.
I wouldn’t agree on “punishing”, I’d lean more on “balancing”.
Currently If I join an empty Bl and see 50 player enemy zerg, there’s absolutely nothing I can do to help my server.
As I said, it’s not the best solution.
Surely it’s not the best solution, but although almost everyone agrees that PPT system is flawed, no one ever suggest a good replacement.
If server A has no overage during the time period “X” and and server B has huge coverage during that time, a single player, or a small group could help out their server.
Why not create a new system that scales the gained score according to the number of people on the map/each side?
R: 10 people, 1 point each player,
G: 5 people, 2 points,
B: 1 people, 10 points.
1 Player could be just as effective as 10 people just by capping a single camp.
Skilled roamers could contribute as much as upleveled zergs.
Thoughts?
So. Player population decreasing – everyone’s just busy with real life?
Incorrect. That might be true for some, but there are also people who are genuinely bored with waiting new meaningful real content and move to other games.
For me as a WvW player there have been 0 game refreshing updates for I don’t even know how long time. EOTM is not WvW, no one even in my guild plays it. No one wanted leagues and ranks are too insignificant to drastically change anything – the way you play.
They said they will never add pvp in the pve world. But I hope dueling comes soon…
They also said they’re never going to make WXP account bound.
It was obvious that GW2 won’t be an eSport back during the first beta.
Why are you people surprised?
So, just becuase GW2 is a new game it shouldn’t have a GVG?
Is that the best argument? It shouldn’t have GvG because GvG is GW1 lore only?
What.
The first game was well known for the GvG mode. There were big tournaments with much bigger cash rewards than in this game.
It’s reasonable to expect the sequel to have similar features and content as in the original game.
And lets be honest, most people don’t care about the lore.
Precursor for:
100% World map + Level 49 FOTM + 100 WvW Ranks + Dungeon Master
Sounds reasonable enough. Obtain a legendary precursor by playing the game.
It’s a sequel to the original game.
We were promised that GW2 will take everything we loved about GW1 and use it in sequel.
My Guild loved GvGing.
If HA was recreated in GW2, I would stop playing WvW.
You missed the amazing Ranger updates players have been asking for almost 2 years.
The damage is awful if you’re running full cleric.
Make it happen.
Or, explain why not.
Still waiting for a dev reply after 2000 posts.
Everyone from BG decides to transfer to Kaineng.
Server becomes stacked and face rolls all the other servers back to top.
I finished my T6 Gift, worked on it for 4 months.
Don’t rush so much.
Free transfers did nothing to balance servers and make Season 2 interesting.
It ultimately stacked just one or two servers while making others even more empty.
If this is what Arena Net wants, why not just make 6 big WvW Servers so all WvWers can just stack them.
Last week http://mos.millenium.org/servers/view/39/161
This week http://mos.millenium.org/servers/view/39/163
I doubt losing all PvErs would affect population this drastically.
Check back in a week or two when we get easier match up, everyone will be back blobing again.
Just feels so unreliable, when we’re up against weak servers, I can always find people to play even during the SEA time, when we’re against stornger servers, there’s absolutely no one playing.
Alright, this probably isn’t related to GW2, but few days ago I bought a new mouse.
Worked perfectly and suddenly weird stuff started to happen.
I don’t know how to explain it.
When I drag the cursor to where I want to click, the cursor half of the time just stops right before the place I want to click on. It’s really weird.
It’s a Logitech Bluetooth mouse, the batteries are full, tried re installing drivers, but it didn’t help. I tried my old 2006 Bluetooth mouse and I had the same issue with it.
Make it 800 Gems and you must have at least 3 other level 80 chars to buy it.
No one wanted to be in silver.
Everyone complained about easy silver league.
Everyone said they don’t want to face roll all servers.
Can’t win #12 server.
GG.
Maybe enable in in CTRL+SHIFT+H.
The server who gets the most Karma during the week wins.
What identity? I’d rather have balanced fights.
I’d love server alliances.
Something like – if you’re green, you can go help other servers with the same color.
And calculate the score combining all scores together of the same color.
I don’t play 1-15 zones so I couldn’t care any less.
Shut down servers the moment I stop playing.
Good. I didn’t play it last year and I wouldn’t had played it this year.
Couldn’t care any less. I play with GW2 muted anyway.
Jeremy Soule’s Faction and Nightfall themes were great though.
