How do you suggest making exploration more “fun”?
I finished my 100% world more than a year ago and I have never gone back to most zones again. There’s no point, nothing to do, events are boring. You can’t farm.
Needs to be on top.
This alone is better than all LS combined.

I know that PvE is a part of the world map, but it’s still pretty dumb in my opinion. I’m a WvWer and I HATE PvE (Pvp/Eotm is okey), but that you have to explore PvE maps is just so much work.

Support and Heal doesn’t matter in this game, the best support is DPS and Heal is not needed if your DPS is high and you can kill the mobs faster than they can inflict damage to you.Except support does matter and it is used a great deal.
The trouble is some people seem to be under the impression that unless you have crud damage and are facetanking or heal spamming, that you can’t possibly be providing support.
I’m running Guardian.
1200+ Healing and “Hold The Line” still heals for insignificant amount -33% and it does absolutely nothing to awfully designed one shot bosses and you’re dead regardless of all the boons you have if you fail to dodge.
What’s support in PvE? Reflects?
CC, buffs, debuffs, swiftness, fields, blinds, reflects, blocks, prot, stability, warps, ports, regen etc.
“Support” is not purely the domain of someone facetanking or spamming heals and guardians are in such demand because they can provide that support and damage (when built well).
Moreoever the number of instagib one shot kills in this game is somewhat overblown by players on here.

Haven’t entered the new LS LA instance for about 3 weeks now. (not to mention I’ve quit playing LS for months now).
They won’t lure me in with some shallow zerging, few champion boxes, ugly backpack or pointless achievements.

Been on the server since the release.
It’s definitely one of the more stable servers out there.
We’ve witnessed many servers rise, stack, and implode, while FA have remained the same.

I just made two tier 6 gifts after saving mats for 4 months.
You grind if you want your legendary ASAP and you have no patience.
Maybe after certain progression/time spent in dungeon, people wouldn’t be able to kick others. Then again, this would contribute to leechers.
This is a fast post of how I think crafting a legendary should be… and or be added.
Kill Zhiatan = Gain a Piece
Kill Teq = Gain a Piece
Kill 3 Wurms = Gain a Piece
Kill Super Shadow behemoth = Gain a Piece. (ToA was to important to leave out Anet)Put those 4 Pieces in MF gain a Gift (For now lets call it, Gift of heroes)
Place in MF: Gift of Heroes, Precursor, Gift of (legendary weapon) and Gift of Fortune.
Will make Legendarys actually feel more Legendary.
Come out with 4 more World Bosses for a 2nd set of legendarys.

So why can’t healway guard be a frontliner?
That was the whole thing that made the fight challenging, you couldn’t just run away and hide.
You add Liadri and 1/2 of the player base goes ape – becausr they can’t dodge 3 second telegraphed attack.
Just like last time.
Who remembers Shiro in GW1? Yeah. 2006 AI, now 8 years later, Arena Net still can’t achieve that.
If I was to play my cleric guard again in FOTMs, I’d go for 0/0/30/30/10.
4 Squishy Zerkers, 1 Support Guard isn’t really that bad.
I’ll be the first one to sign it.
Because all the information was provided in game chat. The information in guides was brought to the players. They didn’t have to go to another website to learn. It was provided to them. These people still did not learn.
People were still facing warden 1 with it’s back to the edge of the platform.
People were still kiting in giant circles on warden 2 and never dragging over mines.
People were still not paying attention to the “bombs” and dying to warden 3.
People were still unable to dodge warden 4’s attacks.
People were still spreading out on warden 5 and running around like chickens with their heads cut off.Detailed information was hand delivered to people and they still failed to learn. Day after day after day after day.
I can think of many other reasons for why that may happen:
- maybe the people that were failing had not tried the content yet.
- maybe they were confused about the lane and warden system.
- maybe some players became disoriented, or forgot a strategy during the fight.
- maybe some players had their chat turned off.
- maybe some players are very new to the game, and are still learning the basics.
- maybe some players were not paying as much attention as they should be.
- maybe some of the players did not have English as their native language.
How do you eliminate all these possibilities, and conclude that they were all lazy? It seems more like an emotional response to me, rather than an accurate analysis of why the event was failing half the time. It also seems a bit hostile, and nonconstructive.
Making mistakes in GW2 is not a crime. It’s part of the game. Some recent Living Story chapters have been very intolerant of such mistakes. This doesn’t mean the players are lazy.
That’s why make these kinds of encounters should be instanced.
More exp players could teach the newer ones.
It was mind boggling to see people failing Marionette, even after 2 weeks.
The average skill level is pretty low indeed.
And it’s wrong to label someone an elitist if they give you an advice of running the zerk gear because it’s the best one in this game.
You don’t have to join exp speed clear parties, you do know that?

Why would you spend real money on keys? I’ve opened around 20 chests with story keys, and 0 scraps/weapon tokens.

Steal mechanic itself seems gimmicky and plays rather small role in class.
It should have been a utility in my opinion.
Assassin just seems much more appropriate.
Early concept arts clearly show that they wanted to go for the “Assassin” name (as shown in attachment).
Was it because Assassins in GW lore were related to Cantha and everything Cantha must be removed from GW2?
Or was it because the word sounded too inappropriate?
Maybe they could release Dungeon pack or something and make it 30$…
Yeah. Not everything is for everyone, but WvW hasn’t received any gameplay refreshing additions since the release (EOTM is not WvW). Is basically the same game mode it was when the game was released, except with rank point lines. Seasons r Leagues, they still doesn’t do anything to revitalize the gameplay.
sPvP failed, we all should know it by now. It’s not going to be eSport, class balance is weak, and updates too infrequent.
All I’m asking/wishing for is couple of new dungeons/new instanced large scale elite missions like in GW1 or something similar (without zerging).
Wurm and Tequati updates were great, but they should have been instanced.

I’m playing only FOTM and WvW.
I tried EOTM for like 15 minutes and went back to real WvW.
Too much PvE.
Epic Announcement?
New weapon skills? New usable utility skills? Finally achieved class balance?
New Dungeons? New Zones? New non-gem store armor/weapon sets/skins?
